We went to the movie, how to train a dragon, accompanied by the orchestra, what an amazing experience today. First of all, KKL, perfectly located at the lake Lucerne, either parking at the main train station or you come by the super reliable SBB trains. If you want a bite before the concert, all is available at the location, from a bistro / bar to Michelin restaurant dining. How to train a dragon in concert, what a wonderful experience , the film, and most important the performance of the orchestra. I really loved it, can only recommend this experience. We be back for other concerts. Last but not least the acoustic is superb.

Designed by French architect Jean Nouvel and opened in 1998. A defining feature of the complex is its floating roof, a long, thin concrete slab that appears to hover over the building and lake, supported by slender columns and cantilevered over the water.

One of the best concert hall acoustics for orchestras I've heard, in a beautiful setting at the lakeside in Lucerne. We came for the classical music festival and heard several concerts showcasing the world's top orchestras, conductors and solo musicians. Not a cheap hobby but a wonderful, once in a lifetime experience. Seat accessibility was not a strong point, but I suppose one must blame the French architect! The acoustic designer was from the US...

Amazing cultural spot in the city. In a wonderful and picturesque city like Lucerne, this particular spot stands out. Modern architecture, minimal lines, high aesthetics. A place of culture, recreation and entertainment!

Loved it! The orchestra brought Mozart’s music to life while the film played on the big screen – the KKL’s acoustics made every note crystal clear and massive. The Salieri scenes and the big concert moments gave me proper chills. Only tiny downsides: intermission was a bit long and my upper-balcony seat had a slightly restricted view of the screen. Still a fantastic evening. If you like film + live classical, don’t miss these #Amadeus

The Lucerne Culture and Congress Centre (KKL) is an architectural masterpiece! 🏛️ The modern design by Jean Nouvel is stunning, and its location right by Lake Lucerne makes it even more special. The concert hall has world-class acoustics—perfect for music lovers and events. The views from the terrace are incredible, especially at sunset. A must-visit landmark in Lucerne
