Wow what a treat. I had been here 30 years ago. My grandfather and his brother (Jim and Freddy Gilmore) used to come here frequently. When we walked in I recognized Luciano and was happy he is still there and working his magic. We were very impressed with the entire experience. Our waiter was excellent. Our food was delicious. The focaccia is amazing. Peaches unbelievable. Veal and pasta great. If we lived near by this would be a weekly visit. If you are near by and hungry do yourself a favor and go have a great food experience.

Google
Excellent Italian restaurant. From the servers to the food, everything was fantastic. I had the shrimp scampi and my daughter the chicken piccata. Both of us enjoyed our meal. 4 stars for atmosphere only because they have fake prosciutto hanging in the front dining room and that’s so not needed and adds nothing to the decor. The front dining room has booths and low lighting, giving a romantic vibe which is nice.

Google
Our first time trying this restaurant was so delightful, from the time we walked into the front door to when we left all the staff was very pleasant and held the highest hospitality. The bread came out first and it was so good we had to get a second helping. The Chicken Parm dinner and Shrimp Scampi was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The waiter was Kameron L. and he was very attentive and was very knowledgeable about the menu. I give this restaurant not just 5 stars but 10 stars.

Google
Always consistent. Recent visit was incredible however. Its a true Italian experience (albeit old school) and that's what makes it so good. Elegant but not pretentious. Very spacious and clean. Perfect for everything from a date to a big family dinner. One of the last remaining good Italian restaurants with history attached.

Google
Never disappointed. Stuffed veal chop with lobster was just phenomenal. Baked stuffed sole was delicious. Very friendly and knowledgeable server. I hope things never change.

Google
Very great food and service. I had the saltimboca chicken, it was a huge portion and really tasty. Salad was very good. Creme Brulee was great as well. Service was prompt and quick, atmosphere was beauitful. Overall, it was a little expensive, but certainly worth the price.

Google
If i could leave zero stars for service i would. I came to Luciano’s with my boyfriend for his birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing from start to finish. Nobody we interacted with was friendly, and we felt uncomfortable the entire time. Being younger than most of the other guests, it was clear we were treated differently and not given the same courtesy or attention. Our original server barely checked on us, never asked how our food was, and completely skipped offering dessert at the end. After our meals were boxed, we were simply handed the check with no acknowledgment of the occasion.Even more concerning was how the allergy situation was handled. We asked about the chocolate cake and were told it was fine then they went to check wheee it was made if it was okay and it wasn’t. Then, the same back server came over to discuss a dish, told us ANOTHER dish was safe for a peanut/nut allergy, and then returned 10 minutes later to say we actually couldn’t have it due to peanuts. This showed a lack of proper allergy knowledge and attention to detail, which is unacceptable and unsafe. We also waited 20 minutes without anyone coming by, only to later find out we couldn’t have any dessert options anyway. For what was supposed to be a special night, the lack of warmth, care, communication, and basic hospitality was extremely disappointing. Meanwhile all of the older guests were getting phenomenal service around this. I say this as a General manager of an italian restaurant who has been in the industry for 13 years. The reviews were promising but experience disappointing. For a supposedly nice restaurant, the lack of basic hospitality and attention was embarrassing. We won’t be back. To end it there was a fly in my water :)

Google
Hands down, Frank provided phenomenal service. His recommendations were spot on and absolutely delicious. As for the food, what an experience! The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were truly exceptional. We ordered the Steak Luciano with a baked potato, both served at the perfect temperature.

Yelp

Whenever I find myself in the area, it's the first spot that comes to mind, a testament to its enduring appeal. From appetizers to desserts, the menu is a symphony of flavors that never fails to impress. Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants for many years! From the cozy ambiance to the impeccable quality of the meals, this restaurant never fails to impress. What truly sets Lucianos apart is its unwavering commitment to using only the freshest ingredients. Each dish is a masterpiece, crafted with love and care that shines through in every bite. The waitstaff, with their impeccable service, adds an extra layer of warmth to the dining experience. We went here for my birthday in December. Not only was the food phenomenal, Luigi sang Italian songs and all the guests in the room sang along! I left there stuffed and my heart was dancing! Whether you're a fan of traditional pasta dishes or crave a taste of something new, this Italian gem has something for everyone. Don't miss out on this culinary journey that will leave you craving for more.

Yelp
Four of us Visited Luciano's on Sunday January 14, 2024 in Wrentham MA. The Veal Parm was served with cold spots throughout. The server said they would provide a new one. They ended up using a microwave to reheat my Veal Parm and it did not taste very good afterwards. Later on - After ordering a crème bruelle desert Luciano's server said the manager had removed the cost of the desert from the bill for our inconvenience. When reviewing the final bill the manager nor our server removed the cost of the Crème brulle until we noticed and asked. The other three meals were fine but the Chicken Parm was served only luke warm. Truly disappointing from what Luciano's was once known for.

Yelp
6 stars for the service, very good food. I would rate it 4 stars. Everything was cooked and prepared perfectly. Glad we finally got to Luciano's. If you want a fancy restaurant for a great dinner or a solid place to take business clients, this is the place.

Yelp
Stopped in for a bite to eat. The food was subpar at best and the prices were outrageous! The Caesar salad served in what looked like a huge plate but was actually a small bowl, very disappointing, the lettuce was far from crisp. The meatballs were shameful, flavor was nonexistent. Their attempt at an alleged charcuterie board was so sad, not a cracker in sight. Skip Luciano's the Olive Garden is far superior.

Yelp
My husband ordered the tomahawk steak and it was the best steak of his life . Focaccia and sourdough bread superfresh . It's really good

Thomas S.

Yelp
Food quite exceptional Service most attentive Ambiance wonderful Perhaps the best restaurant I have had the pleasure of dining at
google avatar

Kimbale L.

Yelp
The bread and halibut with shrimp were absolutely astonishing. YUMMM. Musicians had an amazing voice, but they were just a tad too loud for the room size they were playing in. Waiter was okay, we had to ask for water and drink refills several times. He just wasn't very attentive, seems like he was enjoying spending his time talking behind the bar with a cute little gal. *Price Range: Middle/High *Perk: Parking was convenient. Band sounded great. *Non-Perk: However, the band was too loud for this type of dining. Also, the waiter forgot about us. (sad face) *Ambiance: Calm *Noise: Very nice till the band stating playing. Then we were screaming at each other. *Recommend? Absolutely!

Yelp
Was interested in going but saw the split plate charge , then I changed my mind . I don't like places that nickel and dime .

Yelp
Enjoyed a wonderful meal at Luciano's last week. The service was first class, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was exactly what I would expect in an upscale Italian Restaurant.

Marie C.

Yelp
We always enjoy going to Luciano's. Great food, and the best wait staff in the entire area. But last night just didn't cut it and I can't tell you how surprised and disappointed we were. The salad that came with the entree wasn't as fresh as usual. No big thing, we overlooked it. But their famous, delicious and always consistent meatballs were just plain wrong. The normal soft texture wasn't there, nor was the usual taste. I usually order a glass of wine, but last nite decided to get a mixed drink. I will never, ever believe that there was alcohol in my gin & tonic. No way. It was refreshing but no hint of alcohol. Sorry to write all these negatives, but I had to let it be said.

Yelp
I haven't been to such a great Italian restaurant since Lina's ( little Italy) NYC. Traditional old school atmosphere, excellent and knowledge wait staff. The medley appetizer was amazing. Eggplant, sausage, stuffed mushrooms, calamari that was crispy and light. The specials were perfectly put together with a ribeye tomahawk that was amazing! The chicken picatta was light and perfectly seasoned with lemon and butter. I would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

Jessica S.

Yelp
We went into this place on a whim after a busy day with the kids. We walk in and was immediately looked at by the desk lady at like we didnt belong there. We immediately felt uncomfortable. We were with three kids that were very well-behaved, but constantly felt like people didn't want us there, including the staff. Don't get me wrong. The food was delicious. The bread was absolutely out of this world. Everything was nicely cooked. My daughter enjoyed the torte. Our creme brulee was still cold but very good. I understand it was a more upscale restaurant, but I don't feel like we should've felt uncomfortable the entire time just because we are with three kids. I don't live in the area so I did not know they frowned upon children being in the building. I definitely would return, but probably not with kids. I don't think I ever want to feel that uncomfortable again.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Pricy but worth it. It's our anniversary today so we decided to try this restaurant. We're definitely coming back.
google avatar

Enid R.

Yelp
It was excellent! The bread is so crusty and rustic. They do also bring focaccia bread to the table but everyone felt it was stale. The drinks were generous as well as the portions. Our server (Wendy) had only worked there for 2 weeks but I would have guessed years by her knowledge and attentiveness. We had enough leftovers for another meal if not 2! I'd go back without hesitation but I would definitely make reservations as it is a busy place.

Daphne K.

Yelp
Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary last night 10/3. When we were first married we would go there for our anniversary until one year was not satisfied. Decided to give it a try as it was our place to go and have to say we were not disappointed! Greeted as we walked in and Kevin our server and was very friendly and efficient! The food was delicious. Started with calamari and French onion soup...yum. He ordered chicken parmigiana and I had the chicken Francese. Oh, the lemon drop martini and chocolate martini delish. Think our tradition of anniversary dinner there will be back in track! Not to mention a few visits will happen in between. Thanks Luciano's for making our 25th wedding anniversary special.

Rose P.

Yelp
Food is very good, and service is too. You definitely need a reservation for dinner. There are multiple seating areas, so ask about where you'll be dining.

Yelp
On 1/18/24 My friend and I went to Luciano's. We were greeted at the front door. Good Evening and Welcome to Luciano's. We decided to sit at The Bar we were greeted by Bartender Angie. We looked over The Specials Our Appetizers arrived in a timely manner. One order was Scallops wrapped in Bacon and served over a bed of Risotto. He loved this dish. The other App was Cold Seafood Salad. This dish should be on the Main Menu. It was not Only a Sexy Dish but sooooo Delicious. We were excited for our Main Courses. One was Saltimbocca served over Pasta. He said it was delicious and was very impressed by the portions. Although on line The Salmon Oscar was stated Topped with Main Lobster. The change to Two/ Extra Large Shrimp. Didn't affect the quality of this Most Delicious Salmon Oscar with a side of Garlic Spinach. Ambiance was great too. Thanks to The Chef , Angie and The Owner (he stopped and Thanked us for coming). With this type of Service we will Return.

Yelp
Went to Luciano's last night for an anniversary dinner. We had 14 people in our party and were pretty much ignored. It was 2 hours before we received our food! They rarely came to check on us. I finally had to tell someone about it. It was really bad. It was only then that we were paid attention to. They comped our 2 appetizers, but I honestly don't think that was enough. Because we sat there for so long, 3 and a half hours by the time we left, we paid for so many more drinks. It's super expensive and was not worth it.

Don K.

Yelp
Good food and good service. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for Food was served hot and staff was friendly

Yelp
Luciano's is probably one of my favorite restaurants in the Wrentham area. The place calls to my youth and old traditional Italian food and life. If you are 40+, you will appreciate this place a lot. Any younger, and it will feel dated and old. In truth, the restaurant hasn't really changed in decades - but I'm ok with that because of the food. Luciano's is the perfect date night restaurant. You are treated like you are someone important and the service is outstanding. You come to Luciano's for the food though. Authentic Italian dishes that would make my grandmother happy. The rigatoni a la zingara is amazing and their gnocchi call too me every time I go. Everything is fresh and flavorful and they always have an extensive specials menu. The bar drinks come in small glasses is my only complaint. I definitely recommend this place to all my friends!

blanche m.

Yelp
The food was good however my husband's birthday was ruined. We were a party of 8 and spent over 700 dollars for very rude service. We watched our food sit for quite a long time to the point my oldest son went to the manager. The food was preprepared again however our server than when serving our entrees said sorry it took so long and so many people walked by. When I confronted him regarding his statement he said he was referring to the cork on the bottle of wine. Not only did he miss out on our usual 30% tip but he also made sure we will never return. We are locals but it was so bad and his treatment of me so rude that my oldest son left his father's birthday celebration due to his anger of how his mother was treated. With other restaurants like Davios and Capitol Grill we do not need to be treated with such disrespect! Patrons beware.
google avatar

Joe L.

Yelp
We dined here with another couple who suggested we eat here and boy are we happy we took their suggestion! This is old school Italian food at its finest. Two kinds of bread and olive oil was provided as soon as we were seated. We opted to skip appetizers and enjoyed a simple house salad which came with each of our entrees. A vegetable side was served family style at the table. My wife and I spit two entrees, the Vodka Pasta and Chicken Parm. I loved the Vodka Pasta which had pancetta and peas in it, the pasta was homemade and perfectly cooked, the sauce was luxuriously rich and flavorful. The Chicken Parm was cooked perfectly with the outside of the chicken being crispy and the inside being juicy. The chicken part had a good amount of Mozzarella/sauce on it and was one of the better versions I've had. The apple tart was delicious as well. Staff was attentive throughout the meal and the restaurant itself had a warm intimate feeling. This is a great place for date night and high quality Italian food!

Del G.

Yelp
The service we received was incredible. The food was presented artfully, all of the appetizers and entrees were delicious. Desserts were fantastic. You must try this Italian restaurant if you are anywhere near Wrentham!
google avatar

Lisa G.

Yelp
Stood at the bar for 20 minutes without anybody even looking up at us. don't expect a seat- but extremely disappointed..

Steve P.

Yelp
I've eaten there often in the last few months. Kevin my server "the best.".I got the prime rib special the last time I was there. It was o.k. at best. And $99 ? No one gets that. It was a special and they don't tell you the prices. If it was worth it I wouldn't mind. And they give you a steak knife from Denny's to boot to cut it with .Maybe I'm being too critical. I'm going to a break from going there for a while. For the most part the food is usually spot on.

Johanna G.

Yelp
Best prime rib around! Attentive service. Reliably a good meal and plenty to take home with you because portions are large

Ron R.

Yelp
Can never go wrong with Luciano's. I had the butterflied veal chop it was amazing. The service is top notch.

Yelp
My husband took me here to celebrate my birthday. We had reservations for 6:30 when we got there there was absolutely no parking after circling the lot for 20 minutes we finally scored a spot, so needless to say we were late for our reservation. No problem they sat us almost immediately. Fancy Italian restaurant that's incredibly busy. I'm Italian so I'm picky when it comes to Italian food so when I go to a Italian restaurant for the first time I always order the same thing; chicken parm if an Italian restaurant can't make a good chicken parmesan the most basic (in my opinion) of Italian cuisine I don't return. No second chances. So needless to say I ordered the chicken parm and let me tell you I was impressed! I am super picky when it comes to my people's food and this was amazing. Crispy chicken parm that somehow also melts in your mouth! I have 1 favorite Italian restaurant that no longer exists nothing ever compared to my all time favorite The European restaurant in the North End and nothing ever will but this place comes very close. The only issue I had was the pasta needed more sauce and was cooked too long. Our server Frank was amazing so attentive without coming around too much if you know what I mean. Frank recited the specials like a favorite poem he had memorized. He was very busy, but made us feel like we were his only table. I'm definitely going back to try other dishes since the chicken o was so good. Please note that I'm allergic to shell fish but the lobster that was going around looked so good! Thumbs up from an Italian food snob extraordinaire. Thank you Frank and thank you Luciano's.

K L.

Yelp
Old school Italian done right, from the service to the food. Just amazing! You might get lucky and see a Patriots player, too!

Karen S.

Yelp
Luciano's restaurant on route 1 in Wrentham, Massachusetts is the perfect family dinner gathering. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion, having family dinner or on a date night, Luciano's won't disappoint. Luciano's has been in business for over 30 years and the consistency and quality of his dishes has not changed. Our favorite appetizer selection is the Melanzana Ripiene and Mozzarella Caprese. The tomatoes are huge in the Caprese! We especially like the Chicken Marsala and Chicken Saltimbocca main course. The chicken is so soft and tender, no knife needed to cut! No need to leave before dessert. Luciano's has a wonderful selection! Tiramisu is a must have! Service is good in restaurant, I am disappointed about no take out on Saturday evenings. The focaccia bread served as appetizer has changed. It used to have a nice blend of tomatoes and garlic. Now only has some cheese topping and garlic. I am disappointed that the original topping blend was changed. If you arrive early afternoon, there is usually an older crowd but as the night goes on it is more diverse. Bon Appetit!

Ford B.

Yelp
Always a fantastic meal and great service! The steaks and seafood are amazing. And the atmosphere is top notch. Best in the area
google avatar

R. Alfred L.

Yelp
Everything was perfect! The appetizer special and Caesar salad were very large portions and delicious. The service was excellent! We had several staff members, including the owner stop at our table to chat and inquire about our experience. Both dinners were fantastic. Desert, coffee, drinks... all top shelf. Great atmosphere! Definitely heading back very soon!

Yelp
This was my first visit to Luciano's.My husband had had dinner there a few times in the past, during business trips to the area and each and every time he would tell me how much I would love it there. He was right! We were finally able to eat there together last weekend. It was as good, if not better, than how my husband had described it. The restaurant itself, is large and nicely decorated. The staff was welcoming. Our server, Cam, was very competent. He knew the specials by heart, described them in detail and graciously answered all our questions. He was attentive and respectful. As soon as we sat down, they gave us two kinds of bread and a dipping sauce. For appetizers, we ordered raw clams and raw oysters. They were nice and fresh. We were served small house salads with our meals; just the right size and with very tasty, local tomatoes. My husband ordered the swordfish, which he loved. I ordered the Chilean sea bass, which was cooked to perfection. As a side dish, they served us cauliflower in béchamel sauce. It was exquisite. My husband mentioned to Cam how much I liked it and he brought us more. We didn't have room for dessert but I did have a decaf espresso for the perfect ending to this lovely meal. I look forward to our next trip to the area and our next meal at this excellent establishment.

Cathy K.

Yelp
Nice ambiance and very attentive wait staff. Portions were generous. I had the lemon veal and it was tasty but the sauce was a little heavy. My husband had the raviolis and they were quite good. The bread was hot and had a nice crusty crunch - easy to fill up on that! The salad was very plain though - just a little iceberg lettuce with a couple of tomatoes and a chunk of cucumber. We were too full for dessert.

Debbie F.

Yelp
Service was slow. Not very busy at the time. Splurged on an anniversary dinner. I did like their house Italian dressing on the salad but my happiness ended there. My rack of lamb was CHARRED. AND HAD NO TASTE. Very disappointing. But being in the service industry still left a 20% tip. Thank god my marriage of 40 years will have a do over next year!

David P.

Yelp
Really great experience. The staff is super helpful and super responsive. It's rare to see management bussing tables, but the sense I get is that everybody is there to help each other to make the dining experience delightful! The food was very good and the selection was broad. The portions were huge. Drinks were generous pours and well executed. Great place for a romantic meal or special occasion.
google avatar

Christa M.

Yelp
Super friendly host! He made some small talk with me as he kindly walked us to our table, and made us feel welcomed. Our server came to us right away and she dropped off our menus along with filling up our glasses with water. She also dropped off some yummy breads. We ended up ordering a shrimp scampi, a gnocchi entree, and two specials that they had that day. The special was a salmon plate. The food was delicious! My salmon was cooked perfectly. It came served on top of mashed potatoes along with spinach and artichokes. It was soo good! The gnocchi was also really good! They were very creamy! The service was great and the food was delicious!! Happy we made it on in for a late lunch!
google avatar

Kris H.

Yelp
Service was excellent! The food was just okay for the price. I have had much better itailan for a fraction of the price. The steak might have been the way to go, but $84 for the steak special was not appealing so we went with pasta dishes. Our dinners were warm at best as if they sat for a while before making it to our table. Really overpriced and not worth it! Thankfully we had a $200 gift card to use toward the dinner.

Sean O.

Yelp
Best restaurant in the Foxboro area, i have never had a bad meal. My Fiancé and I have been many times and it is our favorite local place. 5 stars

Judy E.

Yelp
The food tasted very good. We got the shrimp cocktail to start. Tasty bread was served. The sirloin tip and filet mignon were very good. We ordered a bottle of wine. The server was good. I enjoyed the experience. The ambiance is nice too. Definitely a pricey place to eat! $225.00 for our meals - with tip close to $300.
google avatar

Shawn S.

Yelp
Wife's drink was very good. Mine wasn't. Waited over an hour for pasta which was average. Disappointed. Won't be back.

Richard H.

Yelp
I give Luciano's three stars as it is a high price choice for what it offers. Traditional Italian, outdated dining rooms but done with excellent service. You will enjoy you meal but not the check.

Paul D.

Yelp
So disappointing .. Bad service sitting at bar - bartenders more concerned with completing orders than serving patrons sitting in front of them. And food was way overpriced.. $90 for a special .. never never returning and telling friends not to go either.

Geri S.

Yelp
I honestly don't know why this restaurant gets so many raves but we think they are overrated and completely overpriced. Last night was the second time we tried them for my birthday. The host took us far in the back and said they like to spread their patrons apart but ended up seating other patrons around us which was fine but why say that, then cram people around us? Lol. The waiter was very nice and respectful. My husband mentioned we were celebrating my birthday which would have been nice to have been offered a complimentary dessert but also no big deal. The waiter served dipping oil & some kind of homemade bread which was dry but then came over with other rolls which was much better. Salads were good. My husband wanted a creamy Italian which they didn't have but the waiter suggested to mix the peppercorn with their Italian & he loved it. I had the balsamic dressing which I also liked. My husband ordered the gnocchi which he liked but I thought although the gnocchi itself was good, the sauce tasted like it came from a jar. Very disappointed. I ordered the lamb which at first I thought was good but after a few bites it started tasting gamey, and was tasteless & unfortunately chewy. We didn't order any apps or desserts because we had movie tickets and was afraid of missing it. My husband had one beer & I had one glass of pear sangria which was heh and the bill was over $125. I wouldn't mind the cost so much if the meal was exceptional but it wasn't. I've been to many other restaurants which far better quality food and half the price. After giving this place a second try, I don't recommend it.

Stephanie R.

Yelp
I have been going to Luciano's for the for 15 + years and this is the worst I have ever seen it! Right from when you walk in the door the ladies are rude. The best part was the live music in the bar. The chicken parm was sub par and you would think this would be an easy one for them. The service was terrible! Our waiter was literally throwing our app plates to us across the table, spilling our drinks as he reached across our faces to put them down, took our apps away while there was still food on them, etc etc. Definitely not the service or quality you would expect from an establishment who charges so much for their food. Our bill was over $400 for 4 people and you could have gotten a better meal at Olive Garden.

Dan C.

Yelp
Don't go here unless you want to be served raw chicken or get talked down to by your waitress. I won't be going here anymore and will be telling everyone I know who lives in the area not to trust the food from here.

David R.

Yelp
A big disappointment. We had to wait 45 minutes for our entrees after having our drinks. They arrived luke warm. My wife's stuffed sole dish was not palatable and she sent it back and settled for a shrimp cocktail. My chicken/eggplant marsala dish was just marginal. The chicken was not entirely flat. consequently it seems to indicate a rush job in the kitchen. Big slippage since our last visit, We will not be returning, Olive Garden is better at half the price.

Yelp
Wonderful food - lived everything - atmosphere was great - highly recommend - desserts out of this world too

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised to say the least. Came for a graduation party, as I saw the sign, immediately nostalgia. Food was great and it feels like you're in an episode of the Sopranos 10/10
