"Perhaps having high-profile neighbors like Bludorn, and Pass and Provisions before that, has caused Lucio’s to get lost in the fray at times, but the restaurant deserves a shoutout for being charming in its own right. A longstanding BYOB policy allows guests to uncork something special of their own, and pair it with an elegant menu of dishes like steamed clams, sea scallops with risotto, filet mignon, and creme brulee." - Megha McSwain

"BYOB is worked right into the name of this longstanding Fourth Ward restaurant, where you’ll find dishes like sea scallops with risotto and butternut squash, and rack of lamb with hen of the woods mushrooms. The corkage fee is $10 per bottle of champagne or wine, and complimentary on Wednesdays." - Minh Truong

The crispy calamari and 72 hours short rib were delicious. The pork belly wasn't as tender as I would have liked. The pork tenderloin was very tender. The pork belly and pork tenderloin could have had a pinch more seasoning. Overall, I had a pleasant night out.

Our party of four was initially attracted by the "no corkage" Wednesdays that allowed us to leverage our own wine collections. The result may be been the best meal I've ever had. The food was outstanding. And the service likewise. Our party had four different entrees, all of which were splendid. Portions were ideal, leaving room for us to enjoy desert. Service was exceptional. It appeared that the entire room was being handled by the maitre'd herself. She saw our initial bottle, immediately bringing glasses and opening it. She appeared to appreciate that the bottle (a Mount Etna Rosso) was not something readily recognizable.

Finally! We’ve wanted to try this gem of a restaurant for some time but never quick enough on reserving but not this time…we tried and were not disappointed. Service, ambiance, and meal was superb! Even had a visit from the owner himself who shared the preparation of the short rib entree we had. Crab cake, salads, and scallops were fantastic.

Our family gave Lucio’s a try after reading all of the wonderful reviews and it did not disappoint! Service: our waitress, Irina, was pleasant, warm and hospitable! She treated us with so much care. Food: we tried the crab cakes, goat cheese salad, calamari, filet mignon, rack of lamb and salmon and they were all cooked to perfection. For dessert, we tried the brioche- delicious. We truly enjoyed our experience. Drinks: we took advantage of the BYOB option and brought our own wine. Please note that this option is for wine and champagne. Ambiance: small yet spacious , intimate setting. All tables were filled with guests when we went (a Saturday night after 7pm). Lots of interesting art on the walls. I feel that the size of the restaurant added to the quality of the food. The chefs took their time making everything fresh. Wait times: although the food is cooked from scratch, we did not wait long times to get anything. The service was choreographed in a seamless manner. Parking: parking was easy- we used valet services.

Quaint little space that’s packs a knock out punch! The experience starts with Waitress irina’s knowledge of the menu and assertive personality. We ordered 4 mains and they were all incredible. Could not pick a favorite dish: the short rib melts away as soon as you touch it, the lamb was cooked to perfection : moist with crunchy exterior, the pork belly was a perfect bite. Then desert came…. Who knew bread pudding was so good. I love the French press coffee at the end an unusual but appreciated touch. The atmosphere is so laid but for such an upscale (taste and price) place. No one is rushing you off to turn over tables at the end of the meal. Lovely experience we will be back

Food and service was excellent. The art on the wall allowed for great discussion thru dinner! Food specials were amazing! The Fluke was the best along side the bread pudding. BYOB option was an added bonus!

Wonderful local spot that is always cozy and has great service. BYOB is also a great perk. Food is solid every single time! They take pride in having everything made from scratch and you want watch the kitchen if you prefer! Love it!
