One of my favorite Thai places in the neighborhood! We been here many times over the years totally recommend dinning in. My favorite is the Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken, the Crab Rangoon & the new favorite is the Crispy Calamari. The place is small & cozy. Our waitress was super friendly & the food is delicious! Excellent service! Love how they decor for the Holidays!

Delicious!! I ordered the spicy seafood salad, which was packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice. The flavors were authentic, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for a cozy evening with my boyfriend. To top it off, we shared a fried ice cream for dessert, and it was a deliciously sweet finish We’ll definitely be back soon!

Food and service was fantastic! I would definitely recommend coming here. I order the chicken pad Thai and the garlic salmon!! Amazing

The purpose of this review is not to hate or harm this restaurant in any way, shape, or form. That being said, I hope you take this review as an informative review. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is calm and cozy. It is a pretty clean, medium-sized restaurant. Perfect for a solo, couple, or small group meal. There is a decent number of tables if you want to dine in. Service: I can confidentiality say I liked the service as much as I liked my order. That young man that takes the orders for the most part is really respectful, polite, and friendly. His good service makes a difference to the whole experience. Food: I ordered the Ginger Delight Lunch Special and the Spring Salad. Both of them were pretty good. The flavors had a nice balance. I was happy with what I got. I will try other dishes next time I pass by them. Price: I have got to say prices vary if you order in person or order for delivery. Ordering in person is less than ordering for delivery. The difference is a couple of bucks. Either way, their prices are decent.

Amazing Food & Cozy Atmosphere! I absolutely love this Thai restaurant! Every dish I’ve tried has been incredible, but my favorites are the Pad Thai with shrimp, Pad See Ew with chicken, Green Curry with salmon, Penang Curry with shrimp, and the Crying Tiger—each one is packed with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. Beyond the amazing food, the atmosphere is just as wonderful. It’s warm, cozy, and feels just like home, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Thai food and a welcoming vibe!

Calamari was very doughy and greasy, but it wasn’t the worst. Other than that, my friends and I liked the other dishes we ordered: Drunken Noodles, Spicy Basil Fried Rice, Tom Yum Noodle Soup, and Thai Wonton Soup.

This spot makes such delicious Thai food! My partner and I came in on a Monday evening. Service was so friendly and professional, the atmosphere was relaxing and cozy, and the food was absolutely delicious! Must try (especially the crispy calamari and creamy tom yum soup!!!)

Food and drinks were amazing. I had the drunken noodles, which were cooked to perfection. I also really loved the chive pancakes and dumplings that we ordered for the table as an appetizer. Had the lychee Thai tea, and my friends ordered a very reasonably priced bottle of Prosecco for the table. Cozy and elegant atmosphere, and the server was so warm and welcoming. 10/10!

Excellent value delivery lunch special at Luck Thai today. Priced at 13.95, the Panang Curry Lunch Special included a vegetable Tom Yum Soup that was absolutely delicious! The panang curry was very good too, the taste and spices were similar to the food I've had in Thailand. Northern Thailand is one of my favorite travel destinations - for the food and beautiful temples, especially Chiang Mai. The curry from Luck Thai reminds me a lot of the food I experienced there. Other reviewers say it's one of their favorite Thai restaurants in NYC, I can see why and thank them for taking the time to share their experiences.

The place is very clean with fantastic food and service. My favorite was the finger delight with crispy duck. Their curry and fried ice cream were also delicious. Easily one of best places I had ever eaten.

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the neighborhood. It is much more Americanized type of restaurant. it has very good Thai dishes and even a cocktail menu. The space reads much more Asian restaurant with a fully loaded bar on the side. They have high chairs too if you are interested in being their kids.

Amazing food (I've had my favoritea few times: Pad Thai Shrimp and Spring Rolls.) Pretty and relaxing atmosphere. Very friendly staff and quick service.

I walked in starving. Ordered the mixed appetizer. It was 12 pieces and a good portion for 1 person using that as dinner. it came with 3 sauces. Food was delicious. I'll definitely come back for an entree one day.

I like Luck Thai. I've had issues in the past with delivery but generally the food is solid. You need to demand spicy because the baseline has no spice. But WTF is up with this ajaad? Cmon guys. This looks like rain runoff.

To me, Luck Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants in Brooklyn. Whenever we have a craving for Thai -- which is quite often tbh -- we tend to come here. As the old saying goes," why fix something that isn't broken." I usually order either the Thai Fried Rice or Chicken Pad Thai, with the Pad Thai now becoming my go-to meal. The noodles have a nice chew and are extremely flavorful. The bean sprouts add a crunchy element to the dish. It's a hefty portion and the leftovers are even better than day of. It's just so darn good. The Fried Wontons were tasty but too oily for my liking. I wanna say we've built a rapport with the restaurant as we eat there pretty often. The service is always great.

Decided to try this place again in hopes of changing my review for the better, because I believe in second chances. ( My flaw ) Let me start off by saying what a disappointment. I ordered a veggie soup, spring rolls and veggie dumplings. (I was trying to get my veggie intake in that day) lol The spring rolls were supposed to come with 6 pieces. Instead they were just cut into pieces from 1actual roll. The Soup smelled funky, (Imagine vinegary and corn chips *aka stinky feet*) GROSS. And the most saddest thing was the dumplings. They sent me (2) pieces of dumplings.... I double checked their menu and their portions come with 4.. NOT 2. What happened to my other 2 dumplings? I reported them on grubhub and Im sure after this review they will know who I am. Definitely will NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone.

After a friend's engagement cocktail party, we came here to finally sit down and try the Thai food that takes about an hour to get delivered to our home in South Brooklyn, and now I know why - it's a small, very chill, take-out place, with some sitting for small groups to dine-in. Their food truly is delicious, and wanted to see if the experience dining inside would be even better. We got a spot right by the entrance door, and the tables are lined up again a walled lined bench. Under the bench seating is a neon glowing sign saying, "Are you hungry?" which I thought was super cute, because food is such a love language. We opted to get an order of beef pad Thai to share, since we did want to split instead of individual portions. The presentation was very lovely, and the flavors were all there that I was hoping for that are uniquely Thai. Great freshness, not too hot in temperature and the plate was enough to share for two. The waitress was very patient and didn't rush us out for only getting an entree, which was nice. I would love to come next time to see what their lunch menu is like and to get my staple - pad kee mao to try out their spice!

This place is affordable without lacking the flavor. It is authentic as can be. The brother of the creamy Tom yum was flavorful and not overly salty, the vegetable pieces were a bit large. The drunken noodles was cooked to perfection. The noodles from the larger soup were not cooked all the way. It's a good quick neighborhood bite

We ordered take out and I can smell the fish from inside the bag, the dumplings was a mass off dough, so was the calamari. The rice had an after taste. We threw the whole order away after a few bites. Woke up in the middle of the night to extreme cramping and other things.

Hands down one of the best Thai food spots in Brooklyn. My workplace orders from here often, and my go-to meal is the chicken or shrimp pineapple fried rice with spring rolls. I normally request the sweet chilli sauce as opposed to plum sauce. The most delightful part of the meal was the dessert. It was essentially a fried dumpling with vanilla ice cream inside. I would definitely order from here again and I highly recommend it.

I ordered in so can't speak to the service or the ambiance. Lucky Thai has been my go-to comfort food spot on a rainy day. The food delivery always arrives hot and the flavors are excellent. Also want to give a shout-out to the pineapple fried rice (not part of this order) that is super tasty.

My friends and I were walking around park slope, looking for somewhere to eat and came across this place and it was nice and clean so i went in and the staff was very nice so i sat down and had what might be the best thai fried rice i've had in my life!

Ordered take-out from Luck Thai on Thursday afternoon. The food was fine and decently priced, but unremarkable. Quality: Luck Thai was a relatively average take-out Thai order. Nothing bad, but I found most of the dishes underwhelming. The best item was likely the Spring Rolls, which maintained their crispiness with some time and had a nice flavor. The Beef Pad See You, was my preference of the two entrees. However, it had way too much garlic in the sauce, taking over the flavor. The Shrimp Pad Thai was boring. Very light on flavor, which is usually not an issue with this staple. Quantity: Each item was very large, and the lunch specials seemed to only add more food, not reduce size. Value: $7 for the Spring Rolls. $13 for the Shrimp Pad Thai Lunch Special. $12 for the Beef Pad See You Lunch Special. Ambiance: Luck Thai is located in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn. The restaurant is very small with just a few tables setup inside. It did not look like they set up an outdoor area during COVID, a switch to mostly take-out seems like their choice. Some paintings and a sculpture on the wall made up the decor. Crowd: The guy behind the counter was wrapping up one other to-go order. There were no customers eating at the restaurant. Service: Food was ready before the estimated order time, but no update to let me know to head there. Parking: Limited street parking in the area.

We were the only people dining in on a cold windy night, but there were constantly grub hub orders coming through, so I guess it's just more popular for ordering in. Pity because the restaurant is beautiful, with soft lighting and an elegant Hanukkah bush (sorry is that not the right holiday?). We particularly enjoyed the Charles Ives effect of the loud Christmas music in the dining room melding with the Spanish music in the kitchen (actually we asked them to turn down the Christmas music, otherwise I don't think the Spanish music would have been as audible. Anyway, the service was great and so was the food. Lots of menu options. Definitely get the hot ginger tea (tisane), it's delicious and great value for money. My dining companion says the salmon is well cooked. There are lots of vegetarian options. The dumplings I don't think I'll order again, they were totally white inside and out and bland. I could not tell what was inside, maybe cabbage? The dipping sauce was good. Large, clean restroom. I would come back here sometime not in November or December and try some other vegetarian dishes.

Salmon salad I received looked nothing like what was advertised and the order was 30 mins late.

The food was really savory and delicious. I got the drunken noodles, which was cooked and seasoned well. The problem with this place is the service, which was not great. We didn't get any waters for the table. We ordered some sodas, and didn't get them until 15-20 minutes after. Our food took over 40 minutes - probably because they prioritise their take out orders (we saw about 10 pick up drivers come and have their food before our food came). When our food finally came, they served everyone except one person in our party. I think they forgot her order completely because when we pointed it out, it took another SEVERAL minutes for her to get her food. Also, I requested a purely vegetarian drunken noodle and found pieces of chicken in it - not promising for people with allergies to something. Overall the food was really good but not worth the awful service - save this place for takeout.

Delivery/takeout review: This thai stop gave me exactly what I was looking for: a quick and cheap thai meal. I got the drunken noodles and my partner got the pad thai. I asked for extra spicy and man the level of spice did not disappoint; and I can handle my spice. Im satisfied with the quantity and it was yummy and comforting but by no means the best thai food I've had. My partner wanted the pad thai to be seasoned a little more but the positive is she ended up having some extras after she had her fill. The hot sauce they give is the over the counter sour and spicy chili sauce you can get at normal asian grocery stores. Overall a good place for a cheap meal but if this is your first time or you want an authentic thai flavor/entree, id go elsewhere.

I came here with my husband to outdoor dine. We felt comfortable eating outside. There were only 3 tables outside and one person working. He was taking orders over the phone and serving us too. We were starving! We had appetizers and an entree. I had the pad see euw and my husband had the chicken curry. We got a discount by checking in on Yelp. I'd return!

Ordered delivery from here because there was a bit of a deal on postmates. Exceed expectations! Had some of my favorite Thai dishes such as larb gai salad and moo yang (grilled pork goodness). Besides the larb gai and moo yang I also ordered the Thai dumplings and panang curry with chicken. Everything was well done with the moo yang being especially good. Everything is really decently priced so you don't break the bank and get some great Thai food!

My friend and I were craving Thai food and ended up here for lunch. Lunch special is 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM everyday. Prices are $7.95 or $8.95 depending on the source of protein. All lunch specials include an appetizer. I ordered the pad see ew with chicken, vegetable spring roll, and Thai iced tea. Food was good but nothing special - tastes like any other pad see ew from other Thai restaurants. My friend ordered fish cake with spicy basil chicken fried rice. Overall, she liked the dish but claimed it wasn't as spicy as she expected. I'm usually sensitive towards spicy foods but she was right, definitely more sweet than spicy. Bonus: They have a check-in offer of 10% off your bill

I ordered from here on Grubhub kinda late at night, but my food still came warm. I ordered a green curry with tofu, extra spicy. The tofu was perfectly cooked, and I though the curry was good and spicy, but it lacked a little depth of flavor. The coconut milk curry seemed a little thin, which may have contributed to that. I'd probably try this place again?

Sometimes you're playing beer pong [because you're old and trying to relive your misspent youth], and, appropriately, you need some drunken noodles. Maybe even some pad see you. Never pad thai, even if your wife insists on ordering the blandest dish on earth. Luck Thai will deliver hot, tasty food, and they will do it quickly. It might not be a revelation, but it will hit the spot. They might even throw in some dumplings, but only if you order and pay for them. I suppose that's fair. And that's all I have to say about that.

Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, Drunken Noodle, crispy wontons, chicken skewers, spring rolls, Thai tea for everyone - and call it a party. Great for large orders for groups, family dinners - or an over all great menu for delicious Thai food.

Ok I give 3* because the food is descent and service friendly. Have been here few time and the place always looks like it's under construction . Absolutely no charm or atmosphere Today there is no heat .

The place is really nice and calm. Our waiter was friendly and took a good care of us. We've ordered mango salad and curry puffs for the appetizer . Mango Salad was fresh and spicy ($6.95) , curry puffs were also good and not too fried($5.95) Then we had Thai hot basil with shrimp- it was fresh and spicy ($10.95) . Pad Knee Mao( drunken noodles) $9.95 with chicken . It was delicious !we will be back!!!

Yesterday, I had a little shorter day and got out when the sun was still up. . Gogglizing the area, Thaism Restaurant came up with some glowing reviews. Ok, who am I to resist. As my stomach was singing the "feed me already song". I ordered the appetizer; Butterfly Coconut Shrimp . Me and my stomach were happier now so the Tom Kha followed. Now that we both felt better, came the big decision: what sould I order next? . Spicy Basil? Cashew Nut? Massaman Curry Avocado? The choices were many and each more tempting then the other ‍. Finally I made the bold move. Green Curry. . I liked the dish, it was well balanced, loaded with actual Thai eggplants. Bamboo shoots and basil. The serving was generous. The servers were attentive, smiling, happy... I had a great meal . . . .

Ordered lunch from Luck Thai and loved it. Finally a basil fried rice with a kick! Shrimp tasted good, wish there were a couple more but it is a lunch portion so i guess its fine. Spring rolls that come with order are good, not enough delicious dipping sauce. Great value for price.

Went here earlier for the 2nd time (but first time during covid) and we were happy to see they had a cute, outdoor set up going on. Perfect for couples; cozy (even during these cold days) intimate and romantic! You can tell they care about their customers by putting thought into their outdoor dining set up; which consists of each individual room providing hand sanitizers, salt/pepper shakers,napkins & chopsticks in covers. These rooms also come with their own door, for not only privacy but to keep the cold out and heat in (heaters included). The waiter was very nice, attentive AND knocked to check in on us every now and then. The food was so much More delicious this time AND they upped their plating presentation! Too bad we were too full to see what they had for dessert. Next time..since we would definitely go again!

Wow! I'm impressed. My friend showed me this place. We went back twice within four days lol. I've tried their pad Thai, pad see ew and the green curry. Everything was good and not to mention super affordable. Haven't found a place this reasonable with this quality taste in Manhattan. Solid Thai restaurant. We will be back to try more things haha

Some of the best Thai food in all of Brooklyn! This place has actually some of the best Thai food I've had since going to Thailand! We've tried most of the menu--from the Pad Thai to the Laab, all the curries and the perfectly plump and delicious crab Rangoon. Everything is excellent! They have nice outdoor seating, too! Thank you, Luck We love you!

Mediocre Thai food, not bad at all but nothing special. I got the lunch special with Basil Squid and a Veggie Tom Yum soup. There was nothing Tom Yum -esque about the soup at all - it wasn't at all spicy and none of the ingredients that are in traditional Tom Yum soup (lemongrass, straw mushrooms, chilis) seemed to be involved here. For a free soup that comes with lunch, it was just alright, but don't tell me that was Tom Yum. The basil squid portion was ok, the squid was tender and the flavors were as expected. I would have liked it to be a little spicier, but oh well. Service was pretty slow, considering I was the only patron for most of the time. There are so many places around, I probably won't go back.

I was in here last Saturday during the Brooklyn LGBT Pridefest street fair was happening outside. I wanted to sit down and get something to eat as well as cool off. I ordered the Thai Hot Basil with chicken lunch special. It came with soup and surprisingly a salad. I ordered the vegetable Tom Yum soup. It contained nappa cabbage, baby corn, carrots in a spicy hot sour broth. I suspect the vegetables were not even cooked letting the hot broth cook the vegetables in the bowl. When I was eating the soup I was served a small salad. I am not sure if the menu even mentioned salad with the lunch special but it served to cool my palate from the soup. The entree was served with white rice. It had pieces of green pepper, white onion and white button mushrooms and green beans in a hot spicy basil sauce. Including for the heat factor were Szechuan red pepper pieces which were definitely cooked with the dish Everything was well seasoned. When I was finished I was asked f I needed anything else. I declined and asked for the check. Service was polite prompt and knowledgeable.

I've never eaten in the restaurant so I can't comment on the ambience. But as take-out/delivery goes, Luck Thai is a solid option for Thai food. The pad see yew is particularly flavorful, and I enjoyed the creamy (and tangy) tom yum soup. The fried tilapia with chili garlic sauce was surprisingly tasty as well. Lunch specials are a good deal if you want variety but the pork dumplings were sub par.

Delicious eggplant tofu with a good mix of vegetables from luck Thai! The panang curry with chicken was good as well, but I wasn't the biggest fan of their Tom kha soup. Would go again!

My absolute favorite Thai restaurant. The food is just too good. every single time ! The prices are great.

I moved away from Park Slope a couple of years ago and I swear to god I haven't gone more than three days without craving delicious Thai food and then remembering that I can't have Luck Thai whenever I want anymore. Which, by the way, is constantly. Green Curry Thunder is more like Green Curry Tornado! It's mana from the gods, its perfection in a takeout box, and delivery is quick. Also, this place is really affordable, but that doesn't matter because I would gladly pay $50 for an order of green curry right this minute. Whenever we go back to NYC, the 2 hour round trip to Park Slope to pick up Thai food feels like the smartest thing we ever did, every single time. Thanks, Luck Thai, for ruining me on Thai food. See you next time I'm within 200 miles of Park Slope.

So far so good Luck Thai. I decided to try a new place and ordered delivery the other night. Still trying to get my bearings for great go-to Thai options in Brooklyn. Queens spoiled me pretty bad. Lucky me, my food was incredible! I ordered a spicy beef salad with fresh cilantro, veggies and some sort of lemon vinaigrette. It was dynamite. Sometimes I feel guilty ordering salad because its a thing I can make - but the fresh ingredients, flavor combo, and proportion were right on. Next time I might ask for the dressing on the side just because it was a little more than I would have used, however it served as a lovely way to marry the flavors of fresh onions, cilantro, tomatoes ect. Yum! Again, I do fancy myself as a tom yum connoisseur and Luck Thai did not disappoint. Quite spicy, very savory, love the fresh peppers and hearty chunks of white meat chicken. Only minus one star because I requested broccoli instead of mushrooms and it didn't happen. Thai ice tea was great, helped soothe the spicy factor. Will definitely order again, and anxious to check out the restaurant itself.

Met up with a friend for lunch in the area and they have the cheapest lunch deal ever. Paid $6.95 for a salad, appetizer and chicken drunken noodles. This is a steal for the area and if you check-in, you get an additional 10% off. The food wasn't bad at all and the portions were decent for the price. The thai iced tea was delicious and not too sweet. Very cute vintage decor. Will definitely be coming back!

Im a fan! Ive been ordering from Luck Thai for a while and the food is consistently good! Also came here once as I live really close. I love their papaya salad and the mango salad. I think the papaya salad is really underrated, it's seriously refreshing and delicious and just like they make it in Thailand! I love wide rice noodles so any dish with it is great. I love the pad see ew and the pad kee mao, especially the pad kee mao! Its a drunken noodle dish. I always get it with shrimp! The spring rolls are not my favorite but the crispy shrimp rolls are delicious!
