"What To Order: Pineapple Custard Bun, Sugarcane Shrimp, Fried Pork Dumpling Much like its name, Lucky 1 in Rosemead is no-frills in the best way possible. Head to this takeout-only counter located in a busy shopping plaza when you want to load up on lots of quality dim sum for a shockingly affordable price. Customers line up early to point at what they want through a glass window—almost everyone is ordering several of their legendary pineapple buns filled with creamy-sweet egg custard, which are so soft and delicious you'll wish you ordered double. Sweet dim sum are definitely a highlight here, but they also do a bang-up job with anything deep-fried: sugarcane shrimp, fried pork dumplings, and crispy egg rolls. They also sell boba, smoothies, and herbal teas if you get thirsty, too. " - garrett snyder, brant cox, fiona chandra, sylvio martins

"Lucky 1 is the go-to spot for no-frills and inexpensive dim sum takeout. The huge variety of fast-food dim sum offerings is not the most refined, but everything hits the spot when there’s a craving. Favorites include the fried yam dumpling, oatmeal snow durian bun, siu mai, har gow, and chicken feet — there are also cute pig-shaped pork buns. Take a look at the online picture menu written in English and Chinese and order by phone to avoid waiting in line. Open seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m." - Kristie Hang

This is a small independent shop that only does take out. Nothing fancy. I came on a Sunday and the parking was packed. There are other shops and a supermarket as well. People do park and go rather quickly, though. If you spend more than $20, you won't be charged a $1 fee. They only accept mastercard and visa; otherwise, pay cash. Dim sum items are typically under $5. They sell other items/dishes for more and also specialty drinks. I ordered $58 worth of dim sum and tried some in the car. I was happy with my order. If you like cheap and decent dim sum, this place is it. Customers seem to love this place. There was a long line when I was here, and they kept refilling the food trays quickly.

One of our local gotos when we on a budget. Today we notice the price is up a bit. Food quality still pretty good. $35 fills 4 people.

Authentic Cantonese food Tasty n yummy. Loved the large dumplings.coconut bread, a cao, radish cake, chicken feet, and other dim sum

Google
Decent food and price. One of the local favorites. I like their steamed dim sum like shrimp dumplings and shu mai. Beef tripes are good too. Haven’t tried their baked items but they seem popular too.

Google
Found this dim sum place during lockdown. I have bought from this restaurant 3 times already, their price is very reasonable compare to other famous dim sum restaurants. Both of my sons love their BBQ pork pie, deep fried shrimp w/ sugar cane, Har Gou, and Shiu Mai. As for me, I love dim sum in general, so I like all of their dishes. I strongly recommend you to call ahead. if you prefer to order at the restaurant, please go when they open in the early morning. They are usually very busy during brunch hours, there will always be a line. If you call ahead, you can go right in to pick up your order.

Had shrimp dumpling (蝦餃), 牛肉腸粉,Chinese donut (油條),and congee. The shrimp dumpling is bad. The skin is so-so and the shrimps had rotten already. This showed that the kitchen wasn’t well managed, letting food go bad and still try to serve them. The donut was totally cold so it’s probably from the day before or earlier. The staff, actually only one server, was well overly busy. The party next table was actually so frustrated by lack of service such that they left after the tea was served. This small restaurant can use some management improvement Updated 2019-04-01: Came at 5:40pm on a Monday. Few people in restaurant. Several staff working but it turned out the management was rather chaotic. One person waited for over thirty minutes to get his order although the restaurant was totally not busy at all. My party got the order delivered reasonably fast but there was a mistake. We ordered wonton rice sticks. The staff echoed the correct order more than once amongst themselves but at the end the delivered noodle instead of rice sticks. They verified against their record and found that the kitchen made the mistake. With fewer than 4 tables of about 8 customers, such a mistake shows some systematic problems in the kitchen. One of our dishes has tofu and eggplant. The dish was extremely greasy. The eggplant essentially bathed in oil and absorbed a lot of greasy oil. The tofu is rotten with a sour taste

Always a take out line there. No more dine in. Still offers lowest priced dim sum in good portion. Taste is acceptable. Report of health inspection is graded C.

Great prices. Friendly. Delicious dim sum and lunch specials $4.99-6.99. Cantonese, Chinese type food. Small restaurant, air conditioned, plenty of parking. Next door to El pollo Loco. Lunch specials comes with rice and soup.

Yelp
This place is good. Their siu mai is so big and I believe it's 4 pieces for $4.89. I have come here a few times already since it's a quick grab and go place and it's right next to my house. I also like their chicken feet and the noodles. The shrimp rice rolls are not good to go because it can get a bit too thick when it's cooled down. Ha gow is also huge and they have a great selection of baos. There is a min charge of $20 for credit card otherwise you have to pay a fee. There also extra costs for sauces. Overall, very affordable and the aunties who work there are nice. Would definitely come here when I need a dim sum fix.

Yelp
I'm lucky to have found Lucky 1 Restaurant! The dim sum is tasty and incredibly reasonably priced--truly a jackpot for dim sum lovers. Despite the language barrier, the ladies here are always friendly and ready to help, making the experience feel extra welcoming. Our must-haves? The har gow, siu mai, and sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf--total winners every time. This place is also my go-to for takeout since they're fast and efficient. It's the perfect solution when I'm in a dim for time but still want something delicious!

Yelp
I've passed by this place countless times but never really took the time to check it out--until 2023! I finally walked through the door to see what kind of Hong Kong-style snacks they offer, and I was pleasantly surprised. As soon as you walk in, the space is divided into two sections. On the left, there's a hot food and drinks counter where customers can place their orders. At the front is a refrigerator stocked with frozen dim sum to take home. Pre-pandemic, the right side was a dine-in area, but it's now closed off and being used as a workspace for the staff. Currently, they only offer takeout. Their dim sum menu is divided into two price categories: A: $4.19 and B: $4.59 (priced in 2023), with a variety of steamed, baked, and fried options. We took the following items home to try: * Siu Mai (4 pieces) - Large and packed with filling, very satisfying! (Category B) * BBQ Pork Puff (3 pieces) - Flaky pastry with sweet char siu inside. (Category B) * Sesame Red Bean Balls (3 pieces) - Crispy and nutty on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside. (Category A) * Coconut Sago Dessert - Creamy and refreshing, priced at $3.59. The filling in each dim sum item was generous and flavorful, rivaling what you'd get in a full-service restaurant. The prices were also super reasonable! They also offered birthday cakes (which need to be pre-ordered) and have daily specials on stir-fried dishes for $11.99, available from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Next time, I'm bringing ice packs and cooler so I can stock up on their frozen shrimp dumplings and potstickers to keep in my freezer for future cravings! 7637 Garvey Ave, Rosemead, CA 91770

Yelp
If you're looking for a solid dim sum take out spot, Lucky is the place to go! This is a mom and pop shop, hole in the wall restaurant, and the auntie taking my order was friendly, quick and patient. With the prices and portion size, I'm not complaining, I spent around $100 and it fed 6 people! The selection and variety is definitely more than I had thought they would have, literally ordered everything I would have at a sit down restaurant. The shrimp and beef rolls, har how, siu mai, chicken feet, salted custard buns, ham sui gok, and egg tarts were yummy When I'm craving for dim sum and I'm not trying to spend too much, I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
5 Stars for value AND taste. While I still maintain "HK Dim Sum House" as the *BEST* dim sum in the 626, their prices are just too high for a hole-in-wall. For $32 that I paid for 3 items there, I can get 5-6 items at "Lucky 1", and about 90% "HK Dim Sum House" quality. They also sell bags of frozen XLB, wontons and dumplings for $27-$30. Open 7:30am-7pm, Closed Tuesdays.

Rachel L.

Yelp
My go-to place for solid dim sum in SoCal. i've been coming to this restaurant for close to 4 years, and since COVID, they've converted their business model to takeout-only. service is very quick, and everything is already made to order (& shouldn't take longer than a few minutes)! they get quite a few takeout orders, i've observed. my go-to's: - shrimp hargow: my personal favorite dish of dim sum. it's not too pasty, skin isn't too thick, and good balance of wrapping and shrimp - chicken fingers: my other personal favorite dish of dim sum. perfectly marinated in the sauce and meat is lush and soft - siu mai: pretty large and shrimp tastes nice - bean curd roll: the closest dish to vegetarian. this dish makes me feel healthy when i eat it - shrimp rice roll: yummy. well anything is yummy when it's drenched in soy sauce LOL - salted egg yolk pineapple bun: i love bolo bao!!! even better with yolk custard inside

Ann T.

Yelp
Went here for dim sum. It's Togo only. Good portions and quality. Everything tastes fresh and hot. You order your food first and then they will give you a number, and then you'll line up at the register and pay when they call you or when it's ready. The parking is a hot mess, it's a large plaza with lots of parking spots but so many people are coming and going that it can be difficult. The staff were really friendly, even though we didn't speak the same language we made do. My favorite was the shumai and the baked buns with custard egg yolks. Yum!

Christina F.

Yelp
Delicious as always. It's 價廉物美 aka, cheap (for dim sum, it's all more expensive now) but good. The best kind of food. My favorites are the pineapple milk custard buns (Chinese concha with custard filling), baked bbq pork buns, siu mai (shrimp dumplings), lo bak go (turnip cakes) and spring rolls. Mom loves the chicken and pigs feet along with the ha gow (shrimp dumplings). Bro loves the fried shrimp and spring rolls. Dad likes the gai mei bao (coconut custard bun) and nor mai gai (Chinese tamale). They take cash and card if your order is over $20. I'm excited to check out their frozen foods too, I'm sure they're delicious since they made them. Mom's gotten the dried shrimp they sell and said it's good quality too. So I'd vouch for the grocery items they sell. Great mom and pops place, hope they always do well and have good business.

Anthony L.

Yelp
No seating suggest for you to already look at menu before you arrive as it's a bit of a rush to order and staff is very busy also food is a bit pricey but makes up in flavor when in the are this is a must try location for DIM SUM

Kenny L.

Yelp
12/09/2023 I came by this morning to get some delicious dimsum for breakfast. It's my wife's birthday so a morning surprise for her. I went to town put in a large order bill came out to +$60 wow I said out loud that's expensive all the workers looked at me and smiled. I ordered 2-shu mai, hom su gok, 2-shrimp and chive dumplings, steamed chashu bao, egg tarts, red bean sesame balls, 2-white turnip cake, chicken feet and spareribs. And then went to 7-11 got 2 large vanilla nut coffees. All this great food for 2 people will last a few days. Everything was hot and fresh, delicious as always. The prices were slightly raised due to the great job by our President Bungling Joe.

Yelp
I was visiting LA and wanted to bring some dim sum back to SD (better quality and pricing). I found Lucky 1 on Yelp. The service was bad as expected. Server claimed the credit card machine was done, but I feel they are lying and want to make people pay in cash. Luckily I had $100 on me since I ordered a lot of dim sum to share with the family. The har gow and shumai were huge and pretty tasty. I really liked the sticky rice wrap and you get 2 decent sized ones per order. Almost everything was a "B" class so $4.89 per serving. Price was fair for portion size. The custard buns were just OK, but the baked creamy egg yolk bun was delicious. We went late afternoon on a Sunday and it seemed like everything was available. Restaurant is in a strip mall, so plenty of small, bad parking spaces. Would return again for inexpensive to go dim sum, but bring cash and don't trust the accept credit card sign!

Yelp
Lucky 1 is one of my favorite places for dim sum. This review is long overdue as I come here at least once a quarter and have been coming here for several years now. It is located in a plaza with various food spots and stores, so parking can be tough, especially during meal rush hours. The staff are super nice and service is usually quick, though I have seen lines during weekend breakfast hours. There is a restaurant space attached, but since COVID, Lucky 1 has been keeping to a takeout/to-go model, making it more of a no-frills type place. The prices of the dim sum here are a little higher than others, but for the quality and the size (for example, the siu mai are larger here than other places), they're worth it. They have all the classic dim sum options as well as some unique ones such as a durian bun, sweet piggy bun, and pork belly bun. So far, I haven't tried anything from here that I didn't like or wouldn't recommend. They also have tea, frozen items, and cookies/other pastries, but I haven't tried any of these yet. For this visit, my mom and I ordered a variety of items to bring home for the family. Here's what we got, and pictures are attached. Note that the quantities in the pictures don't all match what you actually get in one order. We were hungry, started eating, and forgot that the camera eats first. -Siu Mai (Pork and Shrimp Dumpling) -Liu Sha Bao (Lava Egg Yolk Bun) -Jin Dui (Sesame Ball) -Durian Bao -Dan Tat (Egg Tart) -Bak Tong Gao (White Sugar Sponge Cake) -Char Siu Bao (BBQ Pork Bun) -Shrimp Cheung Fun (Shrimp Rice Roll) -Beef Cheung Fun (Beef Rice Roll) -Feng Zhao (Chicken Feet) -Nai Wong Bao (Custard Bun) Overall, highly recommend Lucky 1 for dim sum. It's an excellent spot to pick up a variety of dim sum for any meal or craving. The staff are really nice and quick. 5/5 all around and will definitely be back.

Melina C.

Yelp
This place has a good variety of dim sum. They also have the steamed rice dishes that I love! It's hard to find sometimes. Some of the dim sum are plain and light, like the steamed rice. I would say if you'd like lighter flavor dim sum, this is a good place for that! (No pics)

Magda N.

Yelp
Nice dimsum spot if you want a quick grab n go. All you need to do is point and the lady will pack up for you. If you don't speak chinese, there is a language barrier. My tip is to point on the goods & thumbs up if she got the right one. Easy peasy. If you come after noon, may not see a complete selections. They're not mind-blowing-ly good, but they have nice selection. They also have a sit down area if you want to sit down and eat a bowl of noodles.

Kurt C.

Yelp
Whenever I'm in the area, a stop at Lucky 1 Dimsum is non-negotiable. Their food is simply that good. The sio mai always hits the spot--juicy, flavorful, and perfectly steamed every time. The har gao is consistently excellent, with tender shrimp wrapped in a delicate rice flour skin. But the real star for me is the BBQ pork bun. It's soft, slightly sweet, and filled with savory goodness. There's other options on the menu that I can't wait to try! Recently, I discovered you can buy these dim sum delights frozen to steam at home, and it's been a game-changer. The quality holds up amazingly well, and it's like having a piece of Lucky 1 Dimsum right in my kitchen. If you're a fan of dim sum, you absolutely need to check this place out!

Judy C.

Yelp
Great Dim sum Love it! Such a large size, delicious, good price Everyone at the party love it

KJ S.

Yelp
location/parking: located in the big savers plaza across the middle school! pretty spacious shared lot with the plaza food: go to order - har gao (shrimp balls), siu mai (dumpling with the yellow wrapper), cheung fun (rice rolls, beef or shrimp), dai bao (big steamed pork & veggie bun), char siu bao (bbq pork bun), bolo bao (pineapple bun), ham siu gok (crispy gluttonous ball with meat), and ham gai lung (fried chicken dumpling) service: pretty fast! you tell the workers what you want and how many orders you want of them, then theyll give you a number, when they call it, you pay, and leave ambiance: very small and no indoor seating, this is a to-go / takeout dim sum place overall: 5/5 solid little to-go dimsum joint :) support local businesses yall!

Cindy Z.

Yelp
One of my mom's go-to dim sum spots for takeout. Everytime my mom visits me, she will pick up some dim sum from here. It's affordable, fresh, and delicious. Come here for some authentic dim sum that's affordable, quick, and easy.

Elaine G.

Yelp
3.75 Did I come here for the cute Piggy buns? Why yes, yes I did. I love cute things. I got the classic dim sums: har gow (shimp dumpling, shiu mai (pork dumpling), gow choy gow (shrimp and chives dumpling). I also got the cute Sweet Piggy Buns (custard buns). A lot of the items were in the steamers/on display. The Sweet Piggy Buns were steamed to order? I was quoted like 15 mins?, which was fine for me. It was pretty busy when I went in the morning. Even though it was busy, the workers did a great job in handling everyone as well as remembering to check in on my Piggy buns without me even asking. Parking was easy as it was in a plaza. The dim sum was good, very big, and juicy, but not the best in terms of flavor and skin texture. The buns were cute and tasty/ what I expected.

Toma C.

Yelp
The sui mai and ha gow was so delicious. I would come here over and over again. I already recommended to many other people

Evelyn F.

Yelp
The food was hot and plentiful. I got the har gow shrimp dumplings (came out very nice and hot) and the bbq pork buns (very filling) - came out immediately, and under $10. Would come back to try other items. The menu is not extensive. There was no seating, is a pick-up and go situation. Shares the parking lot with a plaza, so a big lot.

Wendy S.

Yelp
It's been awhile since we had dim sum! Came here, saw a long line but decided to stay and wait, glad we did! While the line looked long but the wait wasn't too bad... every servers here were working fast and attentive to everyone as quickly as they could. Before you know it, we were in front of the line to place our orders! Food 5 Stars Everything we ordered tasted delish! Service 5 Stars Everyone here was friendly and moved the line as quickly as possible Ambulance...It's one of those hole in the wall Parking... plenty of parking spaces

Allan W.

Yelp
This is a Togo Dumpling Store , it looks like it was a resto before. Average Quality, for the Mark Up Prices. If you're craving for some dumpling. A place to go.

Christine B.

Yelp
Great tasting dim sum. My parents buy from here. Now, I do too. They have messed up a few times, forgetting food, if you have a large order. So open up everything to double check.

Gina A.

Yelp
This place was a great find. Had a craving for dim sum and found a bakery with freshly made dim sum. Prices are very affordable and amazing, huge pieces of dim sum. Super juicy and fresh, also very flavorful. It's to go only.

Sharon T.

Yelp
This place has some of the most consistent dim sum for a take out place. Not saying that their service is top notch, because, after all, it's a Chinese place--you don't go for the service, you go for the FOOD! These ladies are quick, b/c we all know that time is money! We always get the standards: BBQ pork buns, ha gow, sui mai, black bean spareribs, shrimp rice noodles, egg tarts, turnip cakes, just to name a few. They have a lot on display, but there's also a lot that is made to order, so check their menu for anything you DON'T see!

Sue Z.

Yelp
Searched up a place that serves all day dimsum and so glad I stumbled upon this from Yelp. Located in a plaza so parking was a breeze. Was looking for a dimsum spot as I drive past LA back to SD and it was challenging to find a place that served dimsum later in the day as much dimsum restaurants stop serving dimsum around 3. Prices are sooo affordable compared to other dimsum spots. Many places in SD are charging $7+ for a plate of har gao nowadays. The taste of the har gao was just as good as any other dimsum I've been to. We were also so shocked to open the box and find that their pieces were so FAT and juicy. Deffff worth it if you're craving dimsum later in the day. They did run out of steamed rice rolls so that was a bummer.

Rosemarie L.

Yelp
First time coming here through a TikTok recommendation. It is a hole in the wall establishment that sells takeout dim sum at an affordable price. Most items are already made but expect to wait 15 min for anything that requires to be cooked. Theres an extensive menu of standard dim sum items as well as rice dishes, noodles, and even crepe cakes. They also sell milk teas and other drinks for less than $4!! The food really surprised me because it's slightly larger sizes than I normally see at dim sum restaurants. Be aware they charge $1 service fee for cc transactions if it's under $30.

Regine Anne L.

Yelp
I got one order each of siu mai (4 pcs) , har gow (4 pcs), pan fried chives dumpling (3 pcs) bbq baked bun (3 pcs) and egg custard (3 pcs) for dessert! The total was $26 and some change and I think it's worth it! The siumai and hargow ARE HUGE for their size and their prices! The pan fried dumpling is huge as well. I love it overall. The bbq baked bun was good too, but it was cold when I bit into it. I ate it at 3pm in the afternoon, so maybe if I went in the morning then it would be hotter or newer. It's still soft which I like. The egg custard is so-so. I think I've had better egg custards from different places before. Make sure you bring cash because the minimum is $20 if you use your card! You can only order take out, they give a sweet and tangy orange hot sauce, soy sauce and forks.

Victor C.

Yelp
I don't know why they gave me some old, hard dim sum that had clearly been just sitting in the back for who knows how long. Maybe they thought since I'm not Asian they could get away with giving me that, completely unacceptable. Won't be coming back, I'll stick with Hong Kong Dim Sum House who would never give me cold food.

Benny T.

Yelp
This is truly a hole in the wall place! I heard about it on Facebook and decided to give it a try as I was sort of in the area. I called in my order for pick up and was a bit discouraged by the process but I'll chalk it up to poor phone reception. Once you arrive, the waiting can also be a bit chaotic when there's a lot of people as some just butt in front of you and order with no regard, though I guess that's old people for you. But once it was finally my turn, the workers were very nice and freshly packed up my order while ringing me up. I especially came for the dim sum and despite everything, it was well worth it, and considering the cost! The har gow and shu mai are huge while also being flavorful and not oily. I also ordered the turnip cake and baked BBQ pork buns and they were yummy as well! Overall, I would say it's definitely worth the extra hoops for a satisfying dim sum meal that won't break the bank. Parking can be a bit tough when the plaza is busy, and I believe they only do to-go. But other than that, they seem like a super nice family owned business with quality food!

Dot C.

Yelp
Bought dimsum and sesame balls. 10/10. Sesame balls were HUGE, which is great. We also bought herbal tea, coffee/milk tea combo, and frozen wontons. All super great!

Angela H.

Yelp
I'm here trying this lil mom and pop dim sum to go place. Today I chose to get shu mai and lo bak go. The shu mai were huge and tasted ok. The lo bak go was also tasty. This is a great place to get quick and cheap dim sum.

David M.

Yelp
I'm not sure how this placed has such a high ranking. I'm not an expert food taster but...

Jen N.

Yelp
Pineapple custard buns were the best! Har gow & siu mai were good! Chow mein was dry but can be saved with Sriracha lol. Chicken feet were a pass for me, a lot of places make it better. Wished they still had dine-in but to-go is fine. It helps to speak Chinese or bring a friend who does.

Kara A.

Yelp
Solid dim sum place that's relatively cheap. This place serves take out as opposed to your usual sit-down restaurant. For $36 we got 2 orders of har gao, 1 order of siu mai, 1 order of the fried glutinous pork buns, 1 order of egg yolk custard buns, 1 order of pork and chive dumplings, and 1 order of shrimp rice rolls. Everything was hot and fresh and came out super quick. Our favorite items were the har gao and the pork and chive dumplings. The har gao had a generous amount of shrimp and the pork and chive dumplings were juicy and tasty. But everything was really good. If you're craving dim sum, but don't want to spend a ton, this is the place to go.

Yelp

Yelp
This is a convenient place to pickup some dim sums. But the prices and the quality is just not great. $5+ tax for a small order. This is not a fancy place and yet they charge like it's a fancy dim sum restaurant. As far as the quality, for instance, the golden cha siu bao is pretty hollow. It only has a little bit of stuffings in there. That's just one. I can name some more but that one is the most disappointing. So I give it a 2 stars.

Yelp
This spot offers a takeout-only menu featuring dim sum and a selection of straightforward Chinese dishes like fried noodles, fried rice, soup noodles, and stir-fry options. The ladies who run the place are friendly and work at a brisk pace, so be ready to place your order swiftly in a busy ambiance. Keep in mind that during peak dim sum hours, there can be long lines, and popular items tend to sell out quickly. It's a good idea to come early, as some dishes require extensive preparation and cooking time, and if you're ordering fried items, be prepared to wait a few minutes for them to be freshly fried up for you.

Yelp
I wanted dimsum and didn't really wanna wait on a weekend and this place does not disappoint. For what you get I feel this is one of the best value for price. Got 6 dishes rated in the "B" category and total was $30. With dimsum prices being inflated like no others I think this is considered cheap. Food quality lives up to some of the higher end dimsum as well. It's not the best dimsum I've had but you won't be disappointed. Also they got this cute little sweet piggy bun which just looks absolutely hilarious. I think it's take out only, didn't really see anyone sitting in. Not too crowded on Saturday 10 am so was in and out 5 minutes.

Yelp
3.5 stars. Lots of dim sum options. Not the best in the area but very affordable. Big portions too. Fast and friendly service. Good for quick lunch.

Yelp
We got there after 3pm on Christmas Day. Boy, we are lucky to find restaurants that are open on this day and we got there later too. There was plenty of dim sum and they serve other regular food too. They have the dim sum menu near the register so you can point to the item and show them with your fingers how many you want. The regular food menu was posted on their wall that divides the other half of their restaurant that is used for the workers to eat. This is a dim sum to go so they serve it all day. I saw a lady that bought a bag of frozen dim sum which is great for future use. I was surprised by the size of each item because it was slightly bigger than I'm used to in the restaurant. I got about eight portions for under $40 which can last 3-4 servings. The food and service was great and I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
I was craving dim sum and decided to check out Lucky 1. I came on a Saturday morning and there was a line and people were ordering quite alot of food so the wait was about 20-30 minutes. I miss old school fast food dim sum. I loved the shrimp noodle and their chicken feet. BOMBBB

Yelp
Dimsum all day?! Yes please! I read from other reviews that they run out of items but I can here at 1 on a Saturday and they still had everything I wanted. The lady was very patient with me pointing at the menu and trying to figure out what number the item was on the online menu vs the posted paper menu but in the end we got everything we wanted. The shiu mai and hargow were bigger than most other places at a slightly less expensive price. The pineapple cream bun and salted egg yolk bun were so good. Highly recommend

Yelp
My husband loves dim sum! He always get crazy at dim sum places and order bunch of food. Lucky 1 restaurant opens early and provides not only affordable but also delicious food which is perfect for my man! We were waiting at the store for about 30 min, but we did order a lot of food so we understood it needed some time to get ready. The total price was around $110. They only do takeout at this moment so we found a park which was only 3 min driving distance from the restaurant and had picnic there.

Yelp
Whenever I want to get dim-sum to-go, this is the spot! It's always quick, quality is good enough, and price is reasonable. We can feed 7 people for just $70! I love that they have a menu with pictures of every item listed out in Chinese and English. So even if you don't know what it's called, you can just look at the pictures. I've never seen anyone fill out the menu as you just tell the lady what you want in canto. But for my non-canto speakers, you can just order by checking what you want on the menu.

Yelp
Location of the shop looks kind of sketchy and not appealing lol. This Small shop is a surprise because the food taste pretty good. I have tried many dim sum places, but this place is actually a decent dim sum place. I would recommend this place for others to try it out. Can order through the phone , online. Food is very good This a good and convenient to go order dim sum place I have no complaints about the food. I have been to this place many times.

Yelp
Take out only dim sum and other simple Chinese dishes like fried noodles/rice, soup noodles, and stir fry dishes. The ladies working are nice and fast paced so don't dawdle and order quickly. They sometimes have long lines during peak dim sum hours. They also run out of popular things quickly so come earlier. Some things take all day to prep/cook so they can't make more. Fried things might take a few minutes to fry up for you.

Yelp
The place offers all day dim sum takeout, and it's not available for dine-in in a long time. The menu has limited options for food, mainly serving two price tags for A and B dishes.
