Google
If I could give zeros I would . I thought it was weird ordering a container of shrimp fried rice that before closing up the bag they didn't show it to me. I took it home, opened container and there is a pile of tumeric colored rice with what appeared to be a bag of shredded carrots. I took a bite of shrimp (hungry) and spit it out they are spoiled I then began to get the spoiled smell and the taste made me spit it out while piece. I tried to return for a refund and they refused to do so wanted to give me more food. If I can stop one of you it's well worth it, yes I'm still hungry for my ride home yet feel it necessary to let you know about my experience. I also asked to call the owner and they refused too do so she stated my plate was cooked to order I explained if shrimp was spoiled before cooking it doesn't matter and she advised they are not carrots it's eggs smh

Google
The place was dead empty and the hot food trays looked like they'd been there all day. I found out why nobody was eating there, $4 for a small, little box of rice plus $0.70 service fee to use any debit or credit card. I ended up walking out it wasn't worth it. Much better places with a better environment.

Google
Very fair pricing with a heaping amount of food. Very delicious, very nice people, will come back!

Google
I ordered soup & 2 item combo. I was given the noodles and onions cilantro and bean sprouts in a Styrofoam container. The broth and shrimp (5-6) were in another container. When I got home the noodles were cold and like a brick. They did not separate when I put them in a bowl. It was disgusting. The chow mein noodles were thick and terrible tasting. Even the white rice was not fluffy, it was like mush. Teriyaki chicken was not like the picture on the menu and the bbq pork was ok but partially charcoal burnt. I spent $26.78 and throwing it out. If you like to get sick after you eat then go here.

Google
Pretty standard Chinese food place. Its about $10's for a. Combo #2 with med drink. The staff are very friendly and all spoke English the entire time, which came across as very polite. Not to much else to report, they are pretty good. A gentleman got some soup a that upon smelling it, I regretted not ordering that in place of the combo #2. Not sure what it was but it smelt Awsome.

Google
If you intend in giving you and your loved ones memories of how a cheap chinese food place should be, you gotta come here. The portions are strong so prepare for your to-go food to be the same shape as the container. Orange Chicken, Pepper chicken, Beef and broccoli: all super good. Chow mein is oily but that’s almost expected.

Yelp
Yooooooooo. This little holey woley is magic. Hits the spot. You know it ain't gonna be healthy for you and perhaps won't make you feel light and full of vitality BUT that's the mother fuckkng point. We eating cheap Chinese fast food I ain't gonna lie though, this is probably the best I've had in all of Orange County. My girl got me on this shiiii, it's her go to spot. The bbq pork, orange chicken, beef and broccoli and the chow mein are all fantastic. Big props to this spot. There needs to be more places like this, and i wish they would open a location in Tustin , Santa Ana or Irvine. Stoked I ate it again today. Got all the same entrees and items except I swapped orange chicken for spicy orange chicken and honestly I think it might be a bit better than the regular. The flavor is great as well as the consistently of the sauce and just overall texture. Cheers

Yelp
I normally come to this place and the food is always fresh and on point, but I decided to try the beef pho soup and I was totally disappointed. It had no flavor, the meat was dry, and the only Veggie they added were bean sprouts mixed in with the noodles, so the sprouts got fully cooked -- I like them fresh. Usually, when I order pho at other places, they give more things like lime, onion, jalapeños, or even basil. The broth here was very bland. I don't recommend it and I wouldn't order this dish here again.

Yelp
Visited on a weekday evening. Place was empty so service was quick! The interior definitely needs a bit of a touch-up, but it was cool seeing the vending machines that you typically only see in old-school spots like these. We ordered: - Combo 1: Fried Rice with Kung Pao Chicken. I didn't try this, but I was told that the fried rice was well-seasoned. - Combo 2: Chow Mein with Spicy Orange Chicken and BBQ Pork. Though the breading of the orange chicken was a bit soggy and with just a hint of spice, it hit the spot! The BBQ pork was actually the highlight of the two proteins - it was tender and flavorful! - Taro Milk Tea with Boba: The drink was quite icy, and I was told that some of the boba pearls were hard to chew. There is a surcharge if you use a credit/debit card. In total, including tip, the cost nearly reached $40 for all 3 items.

Yelp
First time visitor Located in smaller area next to del taco with open parking Different combo plates, Thai food, pho, and small bites Spacious main dining, clean, and open Very friendly service and it appeared family own and a local spot Had the mushroom chicken, house pepper chicken (signature item) half rice and half noodles For a cold rainy night, the food hit the spot. Meaty chicken plump mushroom peppery chicken with spice to warm you up. Rice was fresh and fluffy and noodles were hearty. Definitely 2 item portion can be shared or be like me and eat all of it disregarding leftovers :) Good value for $13 It appears all form of payment is accepted but note .70 fee for using card or debit card Glad to have tried it out and will return

Yelp
Solid fast food Chinese place. Fried rice has that delicious fish sauce/msg savoriness and the beef brocolli gravy is nice and veggies are cooked well, soft but crisp. The char siu (bbq pork) is delicious. Slightly sweet, not too fatty, nice crust. Spicy orange chicken was great too. Much subtler and less aggressively sugary compared to something like Panda Express. This is fast Chinese food. It's cheap, the portions are huge and this place has pretty excellent food. It's not some Michelin star fancy fusion cuisine, it's good quality chinese fast food. My only complaint is that the chow mein looks like they use spaghetti noodles rather than real Chinese style noodles. Most places here do that but I'm not a fan. Service was good too, everyone was friendly. I'm definitely going back.

Yelp
I called in a large order for a 15-person work lunch and the worker was SO helpful. She answered all my questions and helped me choose a few trays that were the right portions of food (they have small, medium, and large party trays). She also made sure it would be ready right in time for me to pick it up on my way to the office. When I got to the restaurant, I expected just a counter, but there is plenty of space to sit and eat with a small or even bigger group. I also appreciated that they helped me to my car with the big trays of food. Orange chicken: 5/5 Egg rolls: 4/5 Fried rice: 3/5 Chow mein: 3/5 Overall, perfect for what I needed today and would come back for another work order like this!

Yelp
pepper house chicken is pretty good barbecue pork is legit Rice was decent Chow mein was good but extremely greasy The low rating is because the eggrolls suck... they were tiny, not crispy, had no flavor, and were really nothing impressive at all... waste of money Low rating is also because the portion size is like half compared to other dish it up style Chinese places A two item special plus 2 chicken eggrolls cost $16 and it definitely was not worth it Hong Kong express in Westminster gives you literally twice as much food for the same price, and their eggrolls are larger and much better When me and my husband buy a two item special from HKE,, we eat some at the restaurant, bring it home, and eat twice more after that

Yelp
SO GOOD. Great value for so MUCH food. Hubby recently picked up a 3 item plate for us to enjoy. We got the chow mein, BBQ pork, and spicy orange chicken. The spicy orange chicken had the perfect kick to it. It pairs very well with the chow mein. The BBQ pork was very savory and meaty. I was very impressed with Lucky Chinese Food. I can't wait to come back here again.

Marissa N.

Yelp
I ordered on DoorDash and got the 2 item combo. I chose chow mein, white rice, orange chicken, and spicy wings. I also got 2 orders of cream cheese wontons (4 total). Everything was just ok. The chow mein had a weird taste to it and wasn't very appetizing. The breading on the spicy wings wasn't crunchy anymore, and I didn't care for the flavor of the sauce it was coated in. The orange chicken and white rice were good, but those are pretty basic items. I didn't care for the green onions in the cream cheese wontons. Overall, I've had better Chinese takeout and will likely go elsewhere.

Yelp
1. The meats were delicious, but I love how crispy the bbq pork was! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes with a large space! 3. The staff were friendly and quick with assembling my order! 4. The parking is easy for this spot! Note: There is a 70 cents additional charge for each credit card transaction! Photo: Combo 2 - Two Entrees and Soda

Yelp
this is my favorite chinese takeout spot ever!!! i've been going since i was in middle school and food still tastes just as great if not better! the ladies working there are all always super sweet. one of them is the same lady who has been here since i was little. the portion sizes are very generous but most importantly the quality is amazing!!! definitely try if youre in the area and support this business :)

Conner W.

Yelp
This place is amazing with excellent food and the vibes are off the charts. The food tastes amazing for the price and I would recommend it.

Teresa S.

Yelp
What happened here. The food was terrible. We had a family meal for $60 and thew 90% out. Soup tasted like it was from a mix the peas were hard. Shrimp and veg has so much cornstarch slurry it was yuk. Beef and broccoli tasted like old teriyaki, fried rice not good and orange chicken wasn't great either. So sad I threw away good money. Skip this place you'd get more satisfaction from a Banquet frozen TV dinner
google avatar

Melissa G.

Yelp
It was ok food. Probably won't eat it again. I wanted to give it a try since I kept seeing people walk in. Not for me, sorry Also, 75 cents for debit card use.
google avatar

maria l.

Yelp
First time trying this spot and got the 3 item combo - Chow mein, bbq pork, mushroom chicken & black pepper chicken. Pretty decent. Great and friendly service. Ambience was clean, spacious and calm.
google avatar

James J.

Yelp
Can't beat the amount of food you get for the price! I like their chow mein and the BBQ Pork is good as well.
google avatar

Stacy S.

Yelp
This place is SO good! We have purchased our Chinese food from here for YEARS! I can't believe I haven't given them a review. All of their food is made daily and if you go around lunch time, they are bringing out so many trays of food bc they are trying to keep up with all of their clients. I recommend the spicy orange chicken & the pepper beef! So good and the spice level is spot on! The service is fast and friendly. Despite being packed on weekends, the workers are very quick and polite. Ensuring that everyone's orders are correct and assembled by the time they reach the register. The location is with the cypress plaza, so expect a lot of people on the weekends. But it is worth it! It is very clean and bright, a little outdated furniture but clean.
google avatar

OC Sunflower B.

Yelp
Not worth it. Not even a little good. Ugh! Waste of money! The rice, noodles, and entree...nothing good to say. Just yuck!
google avatar

Lex L.

Yelp
Yuck the chow mein noodles were super slime texture and killed the entire dish. Green beans were ok. Orange chicken was ok. But noodles killed entire meal - threw all out.

Andy M.

Yelp
How is this place still in business? The price to food quality is crazy! The bbq pork is so dry you can't even chew it, I ended up throwing it all away. The regular orange chicken tastes artificial and nasty. The chowmein was meh and the service comes with attitude, and a very stingy hands. On top of that they charge crazy prices for the food and then charge you 70 cents if you pay with card even over orders of 10 dollars or more. This place used to be decent when the prices justified the amount and quality you get from this place. Won't be surprised if this place don't make it another year. I tried it for the last time in 2 years and the quality just gets worse. Done with this place Panda Express is closer, cheaper and at this point give you more food and that's saying a lot. Done with this place they just lost a customer. I will never recommend this place to anyone again.
google avatar

Jaime C.

Yelp
Tried this place two times and it's been good. The food always seems fresh and the serving portions are large not able to finish it. Service is great and friendly place is clean and plenty of seats available. On days when I feel like eating Chinese food in a large quantity I'll gladly come here.
google avatar

Brie L.

Yelp
It was a Mild spice and soft Not crunchy Always good service Ordered through Postmates
google avatar

Crystal K.

Yelp
First timer and I had a good experience. The food was delicious and i got a good amount of everything. I would definitely come back again. Chow mein Fried rice Orange chicken Beef broccoli Yumm

Joe W.

Yelp
Extremely rude women working the front counter. They will tell you food will be ready in 5 minutes, but that in reality means 20 minutes. They need to be away from the front counter.

Jennifer C.

Yelp
The food was amazing, it was hot, fresh, and flavorful. Staffs are great and friendly. Place is clean and lot of parking sport. Smoothies are so amazing. I've been come here since I was kid. I also like to order their party trays when I have parties.
google avatar

Julia k.

Yelp
Food is very heavy on sodium and MSG. This is what they served me when I ordered the bbq pork. Portions were not as big as people from 3-4 years ago posted. I had bigger portions at Panda off Lincoln than this place.
google avatar

Amber W.

Yelp
Still coming here! We've since moved but whenever we're in the area we make it a point to come here. The staff is so lovely and friendly and they remember us. Food is always generously portioned. They have my favorite broccoli beef and chow mein around. The inside is clean with plenty of seating and a cute fish tank. Lots of options, always hot, fresh, and filling. Reasonable prices as well especially with how expensive eating out is now. Love it here.
google avatar

Halosfan22 S.

Yelp
I am sorry but this is the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. I had one bite of each item a three combo order (chow main, BBQ pork, orange Chicken) and it tasted very odd. It tasted nothing like any Chinese food I have ever eaten. On top of it tasting like shit, I DoorDash'd it and it cost $40. I don't know how anybody could give this more than one star. Extremely disappointed.....
google avatar

Steven W.

Yelp
Great gem for Americanized Chinese food. They really fill the boxes up to the top so you definitely get your money's worth. Great service and large open concept dining room. A variety of foods and combos to choose from.
google avatar

Alyssa P.

Yelp
This place is alright, the service is okay. The food was also okay, it used to much better. Their chow mien was not great at all. I used to like this place alot so i think they deserve 3 stars, the food changed alot. The rice is good at least.
google avatar

Moe R.

Yelp
Worth the 20 minute drive! Portions are great for price Place looks freshly remodeled from what I saw.. clean, fresh and spacious.... Staff was decent better than most Chinese places. Food! Food was DELICIOUS! Chowmein, orange chicken and peppered chicken not pictured was my favorite!!! Definitely coming back. This place won't have you feeling nasty after eating a combo.
google avatar

Olivia H.

Yelp
I would give this place 5 stars solely for their spicy orange chicken. I don't even really like orange chicken, but it's really good. They pile on your food here and the prices are good incredibly low. If you're ordering the 2 item combo, you can get at least 2-3 meals out of it. The amount of food you get for the money is absurd! Their house chicken is also a good choice. I typically opt for their spicy orange chicken, their chow mein, and some other chicken dish. Try to bring cash, as there's a 45 cent fee for using a card.
google avatar

Caitlin L.

Yelp
They gained some new regulars!! We usually order from the lucky Chinese in fountain valley(not sure if it's the same chain or different) but we recently moved and wanted to try something closer to our house. I ordered on Uber eats and everything was amazing!! Good portions great prices and great food. Love how their egg drop soup has tofu in it !!
google avatar

Jesse R.

Yelp
Ordered on Door Dash and thought it was the Fountain Valley Lucky...I was wrong. Food was overall so so but the mongolian beef was horrible. It was 80% onions. See attached pic.
google avatar

Jay Q.

Yelp
Best food good i always come to this Chinese food place and nicest workers. Building is cute and nice and quiet.

ava w.

Yelp
Last night I bought a plate of food to go, with eggrolls and a drink. I ate the eggrolls and drank the drink. Today I went tio the fridge put some in a bowl to start eating and as I was eating there was a dead fly mixed in with my chow mein!!!!!!!! I will never eat there again! Cover your damn food while your waiting to serve people!
google avatar

Eric H.

Yelp
This is our favorite takeout Chinese place. They have all the classics and they're great and their portions are huge.
google avatar

Gus Z.

Yelp
One of the best Chinese American fast food joints I've ever tried. And I've tried a few, trust me.
google avatar

Dali M.

Yelp
Call in order, fast ready pick up. Great food, my fav: Wonton soup extra wontons please... it's perfect for this cold season. Restaurant is clean and spacious. Lots of parking.

Wendy M.

Yelp
Wonderful food and generous portions. Everything was freshly made . It was hard to decide what to get . we will be back . Thank you
google avatar

Jano V.

Yelp
Food is pretty good The Service is amazing :) and the ambiance is a little quiet but echoey overall the food here is to good. my wallet doesn't like it here but i do !
google avatar

Ashley P.

Yelp
I really didn't like it :( We ordered via door dash and got the family meal + cheese wontons and egg rolls. Rice and noodles both had a weird flavor. And a strange color too. BBQ pork was okay- pretty dry and hard to chew. Teriyaki chicken was pretty bland and also dry. Orange sesame chicken was inedible. Wet, mushy and orangey and sour and gross. Broccoli beef was okay! The cheese wontons were good. I didn't try the egg rolls.
google avatar

Reyna L.

Yelp
Large amounts of the best Chinese food! Staff is always friendly! Clean space to eat!
google avatar

Dawn R.

Yelp
Huge portions, decently priced. They have great family meals that usually last us with a family of five for a couple days our favorite are the hot and sour soup. The teriyaki chicken chow mein is delicious. The fried rice is delicious. Oh, and by far our absolute favorite is their calamari is to die for, their house pepper chicken is great their beef and broccoli the beautiful super tender the broccoli is crisp everything we have tried here has been delicious. It's our main go to place for Chinese.
google avatar

Mike L.

Yelp
This has been our go to Chinese food take out spot for close to 20 years..unfortunately tonight will be our last...I understand prices of EVERYTHING has gone up..and i wouldn't expect this establishment to be immune...BUT to raise the prices over $2 AND use smaller containers to put your food in..shame on you..wither raise your price or reduce portions..doing both is completely shady and because of it, we will not be returning
google avatar

Scott C.

Yelp
The worst service....they examined our money for 10 minutes while rolling their eyes and giving attitude....it was so uncomfortable. Treated us like anything other than paying customers and then one of them cussed us out on our way out the door
google avatar

Angel B.

Yelp
Long time customer. When I'm hungry for a quickie Chinese food fix I come here. It's hot and ready and I'm in one out in minutes. This is one of a handful of grab and go Chinese places on Knott right where Cypress and Stanton meet. It is my favorite out of all if them. Maybe because they have those coffee/tea drinks. It's point and choose. Some things are made to order. If you don't see it just ask. Orange chicken, salt n pepper chicken, sweet and sour chicken, curry chicken are my go to's. Request a sample before buying. 2-2 item combos and drinks are about $20.00. It's best to go early in the day when it's fresh. If your in a hurry it's good.

Luis T.

Yelp
I recently stopped in and picked up lunch at Lucky Chinese Food. Visually, the food looked great, but tasting it was different. While my experience was satisfactory, it left much to be desired. I ordered the 2 combo entree with a drink. I got double fried rice, jalapeno chicken, and bbq pork. The food itself was average at best; the flavors were decent. The pork was tough, the rice tasted like styrofoam, and the jalapeno chicken tasted ok. The portions were generous, but the overall quality fell short. The service was great. The lady at the counter greeted me when I came in and had great customer service. Great attitude.
