Lucky Chip Burger

This place truly surprised me. Burger was fresh and delicious, and most places overlook the buns, but not Lucky Chip... delicious, tender fresh buns for the burgers! Fries are clearly potato-cut. Delicious, crispy, hot. Unassuming casual but SUPER clean interior. A great choice if you're in the area!

Stopped in on a whim and it absolutely hit the spot! Everything was freshly made to order, lots of drink and food options. Self serve ordering which I personally like so I can peruse and figure out what I want. We ended up going with the chopped cheese, fries, lucky burger and onion rings. My husband even commented that there was no weird oil taste like some other places when you can tell they are using old frying oil so that’s a big deal for us. Everything tasted amazing and looking forward to my other half of my chopped cheese tomorrow. Wish I took better pictures but honestly we were so hungry and it smelt too good for the phone to eat first.

Amazing spot! The Double Smash Burger is incredible. The taste is good, and the portion is perfect. The place is cool. It’s self-service. You have two screens where you place your order, easily and fast. You can pay with cash or a card. The prices are excellent It's kid-friendly. The parking is big, and it’s next to. The only thing is the bathroom (not too clean); all the rest is good.

BOTH BURGERS WERE AMAZINGGG !!! Honestly this is such a great small business that you should go to support. The vegan burger was so good I couldn’t believe it. I would definitely go back again if I could. Thank you for such an amazing meal!

Solid burger and chicken sandwiches eight out of 10 a little more smashed to it would be good, but the lucky burger is quite juicy and a lot of raw onions would make it even better which he added, and the onion rings are excellent and a side of ranch was perfect

Just randomly driving by and saw a little burger joint with 4.8 stars (at the time). Couldn’t resist giving it a shot. I was not disappointed. I got the sweet mushroom and my wife got the lucky burger. Lucky burger - It was juicy and flavorful. The sauce was amazing. Definitely worthy of being the flagship burger. Sweet mushroom - Divine flavor. Nothing was overpowering and all the flavors melded well. The house sauce added a new spin to a classic mushroom and Swiss. Fries - Evenly fried with a perfect crisp.

Normally I do not write reviews, but this one felt needed. I fortunately live close to this establishment so I have been able to order there a couple times and I have been satisfied everytime. The burgers are insanely good and the fries are extremely good too as well as a big portion size for them. The staff is always laid back and super friendly. Couldnt recommend this place more and I will definitely be back.

Had food 3 times last week while visiting the area for business. Great place, some of the best fast food ever tried. Initially you don't think much of it but you can see the love and passion that is put there. Definitely recommend if you are around. Fresh ingredients, great quality and lovely atmosphere! Keep up the good food guys.

Surprisingly delicious, stopped in for a bite on a road trip. Fair prices, fresh tasty food and vast drink selection. The staff were nice and there were alot of people there eating! The decor was alittle eclectic and the smell from the fridge was strange. But over all of definitely come back burger was great!

I feel quite fortunate to have stopped at Lucky Chip Burger. On an Autumn visit to Round Valley Reservoir, I drove by the vintage- looking roadside burger joint on old Rt. 22. With a big sign and a few picnic tables outside an old building, I assumed it would be mostly hype. Wrong! The place has that complete Rt. 66 Americana vibe inside, and a house burger/ fries combo that could take on Shake Shack's best. Same guys that take the order go in the kitchen to cook. Fresh fries, homemade dressing. There are not a lot of lunch spots in the area, so I'd strongly recommend stopping in for a burger fix.

Enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. The tables were clean, friendly service. I had a mushroom burger and my spouse had a double chicken burger. We also ordered cheesed fries as a side to share. Would definitely visit again!

The food is absolutely top quality, the owners are great local people and very friendly, great ambiance and music, very clean and the prices are unmatched these days. 2 mcdonalds meals with 2 fries and 2 drinks is 30 bux. At lucky chip, 2 DOUBLE smash burger combos, with 2 fries, sauces, and 2 sodas was 25 bux. It's a no brainer. Great on your taste buds amd great on your wallet. ITS A WiN WIN WIN for your whole family. GET ON OVER THERE ASAP. You'll thank me.

I really wanted to love this place. I love supporting new businesses and was dying to support this one. It is not bad; just not terribly good. The "smash" burger was fairly smashed but didn't have much of a scald on it. It was seasoned pretty well and tasted pretty good but just fell short of the smash description. The fries were a bit of a challenge. They tasted like they were cooked in old grease. They also make fried chicken so maybe they share a fryer? I don't know. All I do know is the grease flavor was a bit off-putting. The fried chicken pieces in the display case looked pretty good so maybe I'll go back another day and try that. I'll update the review if I do. Again, I hate to be a drag on a new place but I have to tell it like I see it. Maybe a non-smashed burger would be better?

Went there on a mid Sunday afternoon with a friend on the way home from the drag strip for lunch , Had to order on a kiosk even though there were people right there, no big deal kiosk went nice and smooth, After about 5 minutes my friend that ordered after me, they called his name and he went up to the register and paid for it and sat back down, A few minutes another guy working there is looking at the order screen and kind of looking at me So I get up to walk toward him and he says are you Joe I said yeah I said what happened did I fall through the cracks?, He told me that if you're paying with cash that you have to see someone at the register Nothing on the checkout screen said absolutely anything about that He kind of blew that off So anyway he said oh it'll be a couple minutes to put your order together, All that aside it took 15 minutes from placing my order to the food in front of Maine for justice a hamburger and fries While we're sitting there there's this strange humming or banging coming out of the speakers So I walk up front to one of the guys and ask what's that noise,and he goes what are you talking about, He follows me over to where we're sitting and it's the same thing and he says oh that's our music I said that's not music that's thumping and humming Ask me if he would like to turn it down for us like he's doing me a favor, this wasn't the normal boom boom boom you hear everywhere you go these days it was something very odd. So beyond that nonsense the hamburger was really good the fries were really good But apparently when you order by the kiosk if you're paying with cash then you have to walk over to the register and wait for a person to come anyway. There's no indication of that on the checkout screen as it moves along. We only go up in that area 2 or 3times a year maybe, and it was just another place I thought I'd try for a quick lunch not sure if I'll go back or not

This place is great, different options of styles for your burger, which was really good and the fries are some of the best fries I've had. There's a cilantro cucumber sauce they have which is crazy good. The owner was super nice, will definitely be returning again!

Lucky Chip Burger. The most prominent street signage is unfortunately for a chiropractor, but that's the right place. If you pass it there are convenient turnarounds on the highway. Inside is clean, simple decor, but the only reference I see to a casino is the poker chip in the logo. I like the self-serve touchscreen ordering kiosks. They offer both takeout and dine-in. Seating is 7 four tops, 3 two tops, and some wall bar seating. I ordered the Smash Burger meal, added bacon. Food came out fresh and hot. The burger itself is good. Not crispy and thin with crust like a smashburger as expected, but as far as a standard burger goes it was appropriate. Good bun, and the lettuce, tomato, and onion were fresh and in good proportion. The French fries were hot and lightly salted, and had a nicely crisp outside and soft inside, I ate more of them than I expected to. I didn't see a soda fountain, cans of soda are available in a wall cooler similar to a deli, and have both Coke and Pepsi. Would I come back here? If I was in the mood for a burger and in the area, I would. Way better than fast food.

10 out of 10!! My mom and I ordered a few burgers when she was picking me up from work. We both agreed it was the BEST burger we have had in a while! I would highly recommend this place!!

Decided to visit this place on our way to a haunted house. I had the sweet mushroom burger, the guys had smash burgers. We had fries, mozzarella sticks and onion rings. Everything was very good. We highly recommend this place. Also, their green sauce is good on EVERYTHING. I don't like cilantro (soap taste) and I absolutely loved it. Places is super extra clean and staff is super friendly. Stop by and visit if you are remotely near this place!

Great spot right next round valley reservoir! Stopped in for dinner got two bacon smash burgers and they were delicious! Fries were perfect and salty. Also had a great gluten free bun option for the burgers! Overall great experience and food!

Lucky chip burger! I can be picky when it comes to burgers but this place nailed it. Double Smash was exactly that. Two thin smash burgers from fresh meat. Big bun and burgers were just as big. Tasted like a burger should. So good I'll be in that area again soon and will be tasting a different burger. Guys were friendly and place is chill. Never knew it was there but now I do, if they had a bigger sign maybe it would help but all I can do is spread the word.

My coworkers and I love this place! The burgers are always delicious, and they have several homemade dipping sauces that are delectable. The one time I got their fried chicken it was great. The owner is friendly and looks to build a relationship with his customers.

This place should be packed! T food is great- all fresh made to order, thevatmosphere is good and the proprietor friendly!

Gave this place multiple chances. Every order, we SPECICALLY called out the food allergies my son has. And THREE times, we got the order wrong, served WITH the very thing he's allergic to. I finally called and spoke to the manager who promised to refund the meal. So I waited. And waited. And it never happened. So now I have to offer up this review, to not only reiterate how many times they got our orders wrong, but also the manager claiming to care about doing the right thing, only to brush me off.

Good food. Fast service. Very clean. I got the house burger and fries. It was delicious. We don't have a ton of restaurants in Lebanon NJ. Support this place.

Was great, fries were salty, burger was tender, and the salmon burger was not dry and tasteless. Have gone multiple times.

Burgers are good - fried chicken is hit or miss. We have ordered food from Lucky Chip 3 times and the burgers are always good but the fried chicken is another story. The first time we ordered the fried chicken it was really good. The 2nd time we ordered the chicken it was overcooked and dry but we figured maybe it was because it was close to closing on a Sunday night. The 3rd time was on a Tues. evening around 5:30 and the chicken was even worse. The pieces were small and skimpy and again it was overcooked and dried out. Their prices are reasonable but we definitely felt ripped off with the quality of the fried chicken and what we spent.

My son and I were looking for a place to grab a quick lunch and we found this establishment online. We drove there and walked in place was very clean, but it was empty as it was around 11 AM on a Sunday morning. We looked at the menu we ordered a double smash burger with cheese, chopped cheese sandwich, and two hotdog to try. The food was obviously freshly prepared, and the burger came out first on a soft delicious bun. You could tell that the meat was very fresh and the taste was absolutely delicious. The chopped cheese sandwich came out next over stuffed with meat and seasonings were perfect. The bread was crunchy and delicious for this. We then tried the hotdog with some onions and mustard, and they also are very good. The only difference on the hotdog is at the bun could've been a little bit smaller. The food that we received for the price we paid was an outstanding value. This place will be rocking when the weather gets warmer and its name spreads. We are in the area of Lebanon, New Jersey. You should do yourself a favor and try this. The menu is large and buried plenty of sides, but the main thing is everything is cooked to order. Gentleman that was working now was very friendly and accommodating and there's plenty of seating. Will definitely be going back again.

The food was good. A little on the salty side, but not bad. I will definitely add this place to my short list of places to hit when I don't want to cook and stay local.

Please note, that the reviews seem quite varied and perhaps reviews for all locations are thrown in the same. This is for the location in Lebenon, NJ. I really wanted to like it. it would seem to fit a mid priced niche in my neighborhood. somewhere between fast food and restaurant. i would expect it to be competitive with smashburger or 5 guys. Thriving Business is good for the neighborhood. At the time we visited there were only 1other couple was in the restaurant, at about 6 pm on a saturday. The first clue something is off is that the sign is sloppy and in the trees, where it serves no purpose. I ordered their double burger combo with a shake, and cheese on the side. The order that they had taken was a single burger combo. the cheese was not given and had to be asked for. Burger was dry and somewhat hard to swallow, it needed more of their signature sauce. The shake was almost tasteless. Oddest of all is the fries. somehow none of them were longer than an inch? I'd consider them mediocre at best. IDK, but if i were the owner, I'd be drug testing. I'm not saying they were high, but their performance wouldn't rule it out.

Incredible food!! The owner was gracious and kind. He knows how to make a burger. Quality food for quality and price. I wish the owner much success!

Excellent new find! Great burgers, chicken and fries. Freshly prepared and a lot of options. Service was very friendly too. We will be coming back soon.
