BrewDog plans a rooftop pool and beer museum on the Las Vegas Strip - Eater Vegas

"The Grand Cafe locations at Red Rock Resort and Green Valley Ranch change names to Lucky Penny Cafes starting today. Lucky Penny originally opened at the Palms in 2017. All are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week." - Susan Stapleton

Grand Cafe - Review - Summerlin - Las Vegas - The Infatuation

"There are the days in Vegas when you plan to splurge and spend the next year replenishing your savings account. And there are also days when you need to at least attempt to be economical so you can return home with enough cash to purchase that posturepedic you’ve been eyeing on TV. If you’re looking for something that falls into the second category, visit the Grand Cafe inside of the Red Rock Hotel and Casino. Their reasonably priced breakfast menu is available 24 hours a day, but their all-nighter menu, available from 11pm-6am, is really the best deal. It has everything from burgers to biscuits and gravy, though once you see the steak and eggs for under $10, your decision will have been made." - Edward Thompson

CertaLucky Penny at Red Rock Casino offers a dining experience that’s as convenient as it is satisfying. The restaurant boasts a modern, comfortable atmosphere, making it a great spot for a quick bite or a more relaxed meal. The menu is impressively diverse, offering something for everyone—from hearty comfort food to lighter, health-conscious options. I particularly enjoyed their signature dishes; the flavors were bold, fresh, and well-balanced. The service was excellent as well—our server was attentive, friendly, and ensured our dining experience was seamless. Being located inside Red Rock Casino, Lucky Penny is open 24/7, which is a major plus for late-night cravings or early morning breakfasts. Overall, it’s a go-to spot for great food and stellar service in a vibrant setting.

Google
This is a great place that’s like a hybrid , Bakery diner with delicious food and great atmosphere service was impeccable. I easily gave this a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Always been one of my favorites. Ham was so huge I could not eat it all and look at pic it fills the entire go box !!

Beware THIS RESTAURANT PULLS SCAMS on unsuspecting customers. They are UNETHICAL and can not be trusted. They charge fees that are not disclosed on the menu. Please see my receipt where they charged a $2 service fee. Notice I took a picture of the menu and there is no disclosure of a service fee on the menu. I mentioned it to the woman who took my order and she basically shrugged and said she couldn't do anything about it. Seems like a poor business decision to trade a one star review $2 service charge. I am a Summerlin resident who would will never spend another dollar in this restaurant. Oh and my wife just finished eating a chicken finger and says it is trash and has no flavor.

Google
Atmosphere & service is good. Food is OK for traditional America-Standard-Diet style. We ordered Caesar salad, Seafood taco, Philly cheese steak style hamburger. I like the Philly cheese steak’ gravy though. We ordered the “coconut cake” home after dinner. With our home-made coffee , it’s delicious!

Google
Good food, not the best I've had in Vegas but not the worst. Decent option if staying at red rock. Excellent dessert case

Google
I had the Steak and Eggs and it was well below average. The steak was hard and dry, and unfortunately, this affected my entire experience. The waitress was also very persistent in having me order more drinks to the point that she was annoying. Nice ambience, but some service improvements need to be made

Google
I eat here often, as I play poker at Red Rock on a regular basis. Last night I had the Salmon Dinner served with crispy Brussels sprouts and sweet potato puree. This is one of their 2 best dinner options, along with the Brick Chicken. The salmon is always moist and flaky, never overcooked. Seasoned perfectly. Other great options are the clam chowder and the calamari fries. For breakfast my favorite is the Chilaquiles and egg white enchiladas. Their omelets are great too. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food, and if you are 50+ and have a players card, your total bill is 50% off if you use your points.!!!

Google
A specious American brunch & dinner spot inside the Red Rock Casino. No lines plenty of seating. What most don't know is this a great place for comfort sandwiches. We tried the French dip and the Rueben. Good portion size and sides. Don't waste your time on the coleslaw. Get a different side. They only had 4 beers on tap. But they do have a full bar. Service is very nice. I say check it out.

Yelp
I read some of the recent reviews stating the service was terrible and so was the food. Maybe the other people were simply coming at the wrong time. We did not encounter any of those issues, in fact quite the opposite, maybe people were pissed because they came to eat after losing in the casino. Our server was Lisa and we had fantastic service so I really don't understand why the bad reviews. I had the kings cut of prime rib medium rare, The meat was okay, not great and by far not the worst I've had. I'm accustomed to a nice exterior with rock salt. The size, of course was tiny gor me since I'm used to minimum of 32 ounces and above., but this wasn't all that bad. I would recommend that the reviewsers compain.ing come when it's not a rush.

Yelp
Only giving two stars because I enjoyed my $5.99 burger lol This place has terrible service! It's no wonder there's no one eating here. It took awhile for the waitress, Lisa, to take our order. When she finally came, she rudely asked what I wanted. When I ordered 2 burgers (one for my husband & I), she immediately closed her notepad with attitude. I asked for well done, as I'm pregnant, and she rudely said "we don't take tempuratures." She took our menus and left to go chat with her friend. Our burgers eventually came and mine was decent. The wooden stick thing in husband's burger broke and there were wood pieces in his burger! We tried to flag a waiter down and they struggled to grab Lisa. She was super MIA. We even asked another waiter for water. She finally came around, barely listened to what my husband said and just agreed to remake it. It took forever for his burger to come. Overall, like I said, the burger was good for the price. The service was terrible, thanks to Lisa. We never don't leave tips but she didn't deserve one.

Yelp
This one is hard to write. The restaurant was huge, moderately full, and operating with one or two servers. The food was mid at best. Nachos were "loaded" but the cheese sauce tasted like mac and cheese versus authentic nacho cheese. A side order of fries hit the spot with ranch and buffalo sauce. My mom seemed to enjoy the basic American breakfast. The highlight of the night was watching our food be served to the wrong table and then brought back to us. Later, we paid the check for said wrong table, and the order had to be voided and re-paid. No comps were involved in this mess up, sadly. I sympathized with our waiter because he was running the whole show, while the rest of the staff was "rearranging" silverware.

Yelp
Have to rate this place low due to bad service twice 2 out of 2. I recommend crossing street going to Makers & Finders instead. Pros: Interior Aesthetic Good prices / value to portion Open 24 hours Breakfast all day Cons: 35 mins to receive our bloody Marys 60+ mins after ordering to receive our food 30+ mins after done eating to receive our check No water refill No smile/bad service from host, server, and manager - two different visits

Yelp
We come for their mushroom omelette, but with the service we got, it was no good. We were seated and took forever for the lady to take our order. We waited for 10 minutes or more, no one came to take our order. My husband has to get up and went to the front, where the ladies were just chatting, and tell them we want to order. That's when she came over to take our order. Such bad service. Not only that, she gave us some attitude. The good service were the people who immediately asked us if we want water or coffee, and the people who served us our food. They're the ones that are giving excellent service. With how we were treated, my husband refused to go back.

Yelp
Cool spot with a large menu that's open 24 hours!! Big selection, reasonable prices, breakfast all day I believe as well! FOOD: Good, large selection! I had pancakes and eggs and was satisfied for hours! VIBE: Casual SERVICE: Good but can vary. Mostly real good PRICES: Slightly below average PARKING: Free parking in the parking garage RECOMMEND: Yes especially for night owls! Most of the casino restaurants close at 11p? This place is open all day and night!

Yelp
Amazing experience again! Las Vegas is amazing. Service: excellent Food: delicious Ambiance: gorgeous, modern We came here on the way to red rock canyon. We came around 1030am on a Friday and there was no wait. Plenty of parking in front of the casino The service was excellent. The kitchen made eggs instead of egg whites for my mother in law and they fixed it right away and offered fruit while she waited. All of the food we had was delicious and reasonably priced They have pasties too that looked delicious !! Would highly recommend

Yelp
Wandered over to Red Rocks Hotel & Casino. Went to Lucky Penny and it was Thanksgiving Day. Husband did not want me to cook. I was ok with that! Hostess was very nice and the table we got was a little drafty & cold. Decided to eat at the bar. Bartenders were polite and courteous. Alan stands out as he assisted with wine and our order. Tomato velvet soup is thick and creamy. Very tasty. A gentleman beside me said they make delicious chicken noodle soup! Plenty of food. Husband had the grilled salmon and mashed sweet potatoes which were good. Brussel sprouts were underdone and hard in the core, even though it looked over roasted. Alan had it redone and it was the same. Turkey dinner to me had everything. Loved it for Thanksgiving. Stuffing on. Prices are so reasonable at Lucky Penny this is why there was over hour and a half wait! Will be going back!

Yelp
Been here about 4 times. Never had a good experience. Service is always slow and food is mid at best. Always been here late at night or in the evening. Not sure if it is better for breakfast.

Yelp
I loved this restaurant, so nice, so quaint. We wanted to settle down in a restaurant that was comfortable and quiet, so glad we found this place. The turkey dinner I ordered was just what I wanted, it really hit the spot. Mister got the fish tacos and finished it. Ordered a few desserts to bring back to the hotel for our friends and family. They have a showcase of beautiful tempting desserts, which you'll notice when paying your bill or checking in. Service was outstanding. I'd definitely return to this place no doubt.

Yelp
Good food and friendly staff. The prices were good as well. It took awhile for the food to come and it was just a party of 2.

Yelp
Came here for a quick breakfast with family. Great service. Food was deliciousz The breakfast burrito was delciosu and well balanced, sausage and bacon with the hosue salsa was perfect. The omelette was great and the avocado benny was well done as well. Ambiance is traditional breakfast restaurant at a casino. Very clean and nice and spacious

Yelp
Thank you TIA for the great services. Tia was a very nice, kind and a friendly person and I think Lucky Penny is lucky to have him on their team. Made our dining experiences a lot better than expected. Thanks again Tia. The food portions there were pretty big and did taste good. We couldn't finish it all and took some home for dinner. There were also a lot of desserts but we were too full to order it at the end. The restaurant is very clean and open. Nice place to have a meeting during lunch time. Will go back again hopping Tia will be there to be our server again.

Yelp
Went in for breakfast. I don't think they thought it would be busy today since it's a week day not a holiday. Happy NV Day Everyone. We wait 20 minutes for a table. Then we waited for a little bit to get drinks. They have cold brew which is nice and strong. We waited 15 minutes for our server to come over to take our order. Food was okay. Service needs some help. The bakery counter was so cute. See the pictures.

Yelp
Lucky Penny inside the Red Rock Casino is their 24/7 Restaurant. We went for brunch with the menu having a huge selection of items for whatever you're craving. The lucky penny pancakes are a must. They are fluffy, buttery and soft to cut. They serve them with butter and hot syrup and which is always a plus. We did have an issue as we ordered a Denver with NO ham. The plate came and it had ham on it. We waited over 15 minutes for the re-make and we even had to ask another waitress to tell our waitress to cancel the order. 5 minutes later, here comes the omelette. We told our waitress we needed to leave. After talking to the manager, they did take the omelette off the check. But brunch wasn't enjoyed the way we would have liked. I ordered a chicken quesadilla which was full of chicken and accompanied by guacamole, sour cream and salsa. The tortilla stayed crisp and was really good.
google avatar

Yelp
Unfortunately the food was bland. But, the menu prices were actually fair. This is located inside the Red Rock Casino, and it's very nice inside. Costumer service was great. I would not come back to dine, but maybe just for drinks.

Yelp
Came here for a late bite to eat because Vegas, am I right? Wasn't disappointed at all! I had the steak frites which were so delicious. The fries were a bit salty for my preference but hey I'm not gonna make a fuss about that. Our server was attentive yet busy and the inside feels like an elevated good ol' diner. Plus it was inside the casino so it was just enough fuel for us to go back out there and gamble!

Thomas U.

Yelp
Soooo... This reminds me of a Cheesecake factory in style = no real ambiance but it's a diner, so we didn't expect anything special. We were curious about breakfast even though it was dinner so we ordered biscuits and gravy, a favorite. This was one of the worst we've ever had. Biscuit was old and dry and gravy was very floury, with a speck of sausage here and there. We ate one bite each. Then we both ordered sandwiches, a French dip and Vegas cheesesteak. Neither were terrible but both tasted very bland, despite the toppings. Fries were fine. The waiter was very nice and a manager stopped by as well, who seemed shocked at our feedback. The server offered a free dessert, which we declined. He felt bad and comp'd our sodas. Still came out to $44 + $10 tip. Not the Server's fault the food wasn't good. Maybe other items are better on the menu but you'd be better off getting sandwiches like this from Jersey Mike's at half the price.

Yelp
Lucky Penny is located conveniently inside the Red Rock Casino. It is near Noodle 8 and the East Parking Garage. Pretty above standard cafe food. A little bit of everything for everyone. Servers are excellent and friendly. They are also very attentive. It's a very nice cafe dining experience. The booths are very comfortable. Here's what we ordered Chicken Quesadilla, Fish Tacos, Penny Burger, and Chicken Parmesan. Everything tasted delicious. Pro tip: seniors eat for half price points on Wednesday!

Yelp
I'm a regular at the Lucky Penny at Red Rock and I usually have a great experience. Unfortunately, today was rough. My party of 6 arrived at 9:15 am for our reservation. We were seated promptly and the staff were nice and helpful. That was what I usually expect and it's why we return often. My dad and brother both ordered 3 over easy each and all six were very overcooked. Our waitress didn't come by for about a half hour so we waved down a different staff member. We also asked for the waitress if she could please ask the cook to have them fixed. Unfortunately, the eggs weren't fixed and my dad and brother ended up not eating their full meal. I do want to note that the waitress brought over chocolate covered strawberries and a slice of chocolate cake. It was a really nice gesture! We were just confused that the eggs never came. My family and I spend hundreds of dollars per our family meals because it's always 5+ of us.

Chooseaname000 ..

Yelp
The restaurant was empty and I was told a 20 minute wait. Came back and they couldn't find us on the wait list. Finally got seated. Once seated I could overhear our server complaining about being over-sat . nobody came to take our orders for at least 15 min. When a woman did come to take our order she asked what would you like then proceeded to walk off in the middle of taking our orders, to speak to another server. When I finally ordered their coffee machine was broken . I just left . Didn't get to try the food but customer service was terrible.

Yelp
During the week is a great time to go because is not crowded .pastries are yummy, red rock casino is the best.
google avatar

Cassh B.

Yelp
We came here on Sunday. We had to be added to the waitlist. There's a wait of almost 45 minutes. Fortunately, we were staying in a hotel so we just went back to our room. this is typical for a Sunday to have places in Vegas crowded! The ambience was great. The dining area was very pretty. There was a lot of pastries for Halloween at the bakery and even cakes that seem to be very affordable. I saw chocolate cake for $35. The dining area by the pool seems like a relaxing area to dine. We ordered the lucky three-way, which was a $16.99 for myself eight year-old and a two year old, three eggs, pancakes, hashbrowns bacon, and we also added a side of bacon! Everything was delicious. We visit the bakery before we left pictures of our desserts are below the customer service in the bakery needs to improve from one particular person. I don't want to put her name, but she was not concerned and did not engage at all and treated as if I was a bother other than that everyone else great service. It's unfortunate when one person doesn't want to be at work

Yelp
I've stayed at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa multiple times over the years when in town for my kids' soccer tournaments. It's a kid friendly hotel with easy parking, plenty of dining options, etc... Lucky Penny being one of them! We've eaten breakfast at Lucky Penny each visit and it has been consistent for the most part. If you hit it at the right time, you won't have to wait to be seated, which luckily, was the case for my most recent meal. I was dining with my daughter and her friend and we were seated right away. We ordered drinks (coffee, juice, water), which came out pretty fast. We then ordered our food... I had an egg white omelette with spinach, mushrooms and cheese along with an english muffin and sliced tomatoes. The girls shared a Lucky Penny breakfast plate with pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. Service was attentive and our server brought out extra powdered sugar and hot sauce upon request. We all left with full bellies and the girls were fueled well for their soccer game that day - they won that game! Aside from being beside the casino (so a bit of a smokey, casino-esque environment), all is good... I am not sure I'd go for lunch or dinner as there are so many other options, but I do recommend for breakfast!

Yelp
It was ok. The service was slow. Foods we ordered nothing special just regular cafe I forgot to take a pic of the chicken wings. This is located inside the casino. Parking its huge area.

Yelp
It's been a minute since I've been to my old stomping grounds at Red Rock Casino. Before trying my luck at the machines I needed to get some food in me so I headed to the Lucky Penny. The menu has GF and VG items marked on them so I figured it was a safe choice for me. It is such a pretty room for a 24 hour cafe. Our server Terry was such a down to earth genuinely kind person. Our service was impeccable. Maria the hostess that seated us was very friendly and kind as well. She took the time to explain how the menu showed the GF items for my allergy and sat us in a nice corner booth because she felt it was the most out of the way for my service dog to feel comfortable and out of the main thoroughfare. My husband enjoyed his Vegas Cheesesteak very much. The beef was super tender and the age old feud between white cheese and cheese whiz was avoided because this sandwich had both. Oh yeah !!!!! That's a cheesesteak!! My dog ordered the hanger steak with garlic butter fries....... Just seeing if you're paying attention. he did get a few bites of my steak. It was fabulous. Perfectly cooked and sliced and came with Bernaise Sauce. It also came with pickled onions which were a perfect accompaniment for this rich dish. The tartness really helped to cut through the fat content in the rest of the dish. It was a nice meal and I will definitely return.
google avatar

Yelp
Long wait for mediocre food. Went here due to convenience and wish we hadn't. The chicken fried steak, we sent back immediately, my family said it tasted rotten and they actually spit it out. The breakfast burrito was bland. Service was slow and our drinks weren't refilled despite many of the staff wandering around. It looks very nice inside but definitely wouldn't go back

Yelp
I feel like something has changed as it relates to the Red Rock's coffee shop, Lucky Penny. I've been there many times in the past for average (but convenient) all day breakfast, burgers, or other similar diner type entrees. Thing is, I've now been there twice in the last couple of weeks and was happily surprised to see they've really upped their game as it relates to food quality. Service has always been great, but I recently had the BBQ Burger (medium rare because I'm not a monster) and the patty was perfectly done, super tasty and juicy and the fries were crisp and on point. My daughter had the french toast that was made with egg, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, caramel, etc... and it was super fluffy and delicious without being overly sweet. My wife had the crispy chicken sando and she said that the chicken was crispy without being greasy, and well flavored. Trust me, I didn't think I would waste the time reviewing a hotel coffeeshop but you know what, you have to give credit where credit is due. Just super good food-- really surprised but whomever is managing the kitchen is doing some solid work. Recommended.

Yelp
Who goes into a casino just to eat at the coffee shop? We do, we do!! We have found that the local, off-Strip casinos have great restaurants that are more reasonable than those on The Strip. Food is usually pretty good and there are plenty of options available. Lucky Penny at the Red Rock Casino is no exception. I had the spinach, mushroom, and cheese omelet and it was absolutely fantastic! It was so HUGE that I had to take half of it home which made for another lovely breakfast the next day. My husband had the corned beef hash and while the potatoes were under cooked, we'll ask for hash browns the next time. Problem solved. There are plenty of vegetarian options available. Everything that we have tried in our many visits have been delicious. The restaurant is nice and open with plenty of space between tables where you can have a quiet conversation. The air does not smell of tobacco like most casinos which is a major plus. The servers could be more attentive in refilling drinks, but understandably, they get busy. They have a beautiful bakery in the front which makes you want to take one of each of everything. We'll be back.

Yelp
The service is always amazing here, I absolutely love the staff and they always see us and say hi. The food is great, anything you get will taste amazing. The ambiance is high end, very classy

Yelp
If meh food and excellent service is your jam, then this is the place for you. I just don't find the food all that good and either did my husband. It fills a hole and that's about it.

Yelp
I've been here so many times and haven't tried anything I didn't like! Red Rock casino has so many new restaurants but this one is truly a classic! We had server Benji this visit who was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the crispy chicken club which was so fresh and tasty! I truly enjoy coming here for a quick bite of some traditional American food. Highly recommend them!
google avatar

Brittany S.

Yelp
I am a diner gal. I seek out establishments that serve breakfast and lunch at 10 AM because I never know what I want. This morning I decided on the turkey club! Delicious sandwich. Our 3 plates took about 35 min to come out and our server wasn't very attentive but the food and atmosphere was great. Very clean casino! I say that because I was impressed with how clean it looked and smelled upon entering. Going in and out of casinos in Vegas you'll notice which ones care about cleanliness. My friend ordered the American breakfast burrito and said it was the best she's ever had. Great choice if you ask me!

Yelp
We love coming to the lucky penny at Red Rock hotel and Casino. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. The food is always good and the Waite staff is always friendly. My favorite time to come here is for breakfast. Today we were awake early and we were hungry so we decided this is what we wanted. For us this restaurant never disappoints!

Yelp
Today I went into the Lucky Penny for a breakfast. I was craving French toast so I ordered that but asked the waitress what comes with it. She replied nothing else comes with it. I looked at the price(14.99) and I thought well it must be awesome so I said I'll try it. The plate arrived and it was just two pieces of brioche bread cut in two, to make 4 half slices. There was a dusting of powdered sugar and that was it. No garnish of strawberries or whipped cream. I sat staring at it and wondered why I just ordered basically two slices of brioche bread dips in milk and egg and paid $15 plus tip and tax? I started to cut into the toast and the edges were hard and the bread felt tough as if it had just been microwaved. So .. I am annoyed that I ordered it but I am More annoyed that the management has priced this dish so high and then microwaved it! Not ordering that again. They do have other items on their menu that are suitable but this one is marked off my list.
google avatar

Montse S.

Yelp
The pastry shop here has beautiful choices, all aesthetically pleasing. My favorite is the chocolate mousse but for the past month every time I have tried to get some they are all out. The attendants are very friendly and we're good at describing the rest of the options. Seeing as my favorite was unavailable I went ahead and got a brownie and tiramisu. Brownie is extremely rich and decadent, I recommend a cup of coffee or glass of milk to go along with it. The tiramisu is a twist on the classic, very creamy with a quenelle of espresso mousse on top but very little, if any, lady fingers at the bottom. It was hard to get a bite of all the flavors together so most bites were mostly cream. The chocolate covered strawberries were themed and looked delicious so I look forward to tasting those next.

Yelp
Ordered the fish and chips. Everything was good and hot on delivery. The waitress was very pleasant and friendly. The restaurant was very nice and clean. The noise level was low and pleasant. I was extremely impressed with my food and experience.

Yelp
food is nothing special but service is the worst. got sat at 2:30, it's 3:20 and no food. not the first time. who runs this place??? obviously no one is in charge here!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Easy! Great patio! Best avo toast in town! Love everything Red Rock! Found this 24/7 restaurant- check it out! Thanks!
google avatar

Amelia G.

Yelp
At least for late night dining, their menu is incredibly limited. Ordered hash browns extra crispy and they were literally raw, like crunchy uncooked potato raw in large portions and barely browned on one side. Waiter upsold changing pancakes to French toast without mentioning this would increase the price 15%. Got the drink order wrong. Bacon was on a hot plate, but the bacon itself was cold. Came over aggressively rushing us after we got the bill, when we had been there very briefly. Appealing location in pleasant casino and lady at the pastry counter seemed nice. Not actively dirty. Other than that, this place is not good.

Yelp
Lucky Penny at Red Rock Casino offers a delightful dining experience. The restaurant boasts a modern and vibrant ambiance, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The menu offers a wide range of options, catering to various tastes and preferences. Whether you're craving breakfast favorites, comforting classics, or innovative dishes, Lucky Penny has something for everyone. The food itself is of high quality, prepared with skill and attention to detail. The flavors are well-balanced, and the presentation is visually appealing. Each dish is crafted with care, resulting in a satisfying culinary experience. We ordered Eggs Benedict, breakfast burrito, and seafood chowder. The service at Lucky Penny is attentive and friendly. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and can provide recommendations, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The wait times are reasonable, allowing you to enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. SHOUT-OUT TO JERRILYN. Additionally, Lucky Penny's location within Red Rock Casino provides a convenient option for those staying or visiting the resort. The restaurant offers a comfortable space to relax and enjoy a meal, away from the bustle of the casino floor. Overall, Lucky Penny at Red Rock Casino is a fantastic dining choice. With its inviting ambiance, diverse menu, delicious food, and attentive service, it's an excellent place to enjoy a satisfying meal during your visit to the casino.

Yelp
Food was bland, Service was ok. Our table ordered a total of 8 prime rib dinners and they only had 1 order left of the king prime rib, and 2 regular orders of the prime rib. So those that ordered had to change their orders and food quality was mediocre to say the least. Very disappointed won't be back there any time soon. Was talking very highly to our family about Lucky Penny. Tonight was a punch in the gut.

Yelp
THIS IS A FANTASTIC CASUAL RESTAURANT THAT'S LOCATED IN THE RED ROCK CASINO AND HOTEL IN SUMMERLIN LAS VEGAS. The food and service is excellent. I've eaten here about a half dozen times and I have never been disappointed. I would recommend the ham steak and eggs as well as the French Dip but I'm sure the other items are also great. My friend had the Club House Sandwich and that also looked good. It looked huge. The restaurant is bright and clean so check it out if you're there or in the area.

Yelp
Experience on Friday 12/6/24 The food quality and service has gone downhill. When ordering, I asked the waiter if he recommended the avocado toast or Caesar Salad. He said the Caesar salad was one of the most popular dishes and the dressing was delicious. I said I'd have the Caesar salad with tomato soup. He said do you want your soup and Caesar salad to come out together or soup first. I said I'd have soup first then the salad for the main course. We order calamari for an appetizer and it was so fishy smelling, I had to ask my husband to move it as far away from me as possible. "Velvety " Tomato soup had absolutely no flavor and was just like a bowl of tomato paste. I ate a few spoonfuls and gave my husband the rest and he couldn't finish it. Our food came out and I was given avocado toast not Caesar salad by the food runner. The waiter came by and asked how everything was and I said, I ordered Caesar salad. He said do you want me to bring it now? Not even realizing he made a mistake. No apology. I should have clarified with him but I just ate the toast (mushy). My husband had to ask another server for condiments for his meal as the waiter didn't return until the end of our meal. I will never return to the Red Rock Lucky Penny Cafe. (I called Lucky Penny last night to speak to the manager just to share with them my experience and give them the benefit of the doubt before I posted this. I was on hold for a few minutes and I was tired so I hung up. Tonight, I called again and I was on hold for more than six minutes. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but apparently managers don't like to speak to customers to hear how they can improve their product and service, so as mentioned above, I will not return to Red Rock Lucky Penny Cafe.)

Yelp
Food is always really good and reasonably priced. Normally service is 5-star.. but today I'm taking a star off for service. I requested a small table as booths are very low and not comfortable. Got a booth.. I asked my server if I could move to one of the vacant tables and was told no. They were very busy. Ok. The server seemed to be going through the motions and didn't seem like they wanted to be there. Breakfast was good, but it was very uncomfortable seeing as I was sitting so low. Somewhat disappointing as I come here fairly often and have come to expect better. I understand that people have off days but this was something that was easily fixable.

Yelp
Everyone seemed to really recommend this place before we went. It has a great look but the tables next to the bar (where we were seated) are way to high traffic. Basically bar, walkway, fence, table walkway. So just too much to make the meal enjoyable to me! Ordered the basic breakfast fare of eggs and bacon. Nothing complicated. Not sure why the kitchen seemed so slow, but I took a star off for that one. Once the food arrived I was hoping for great, but honestly it was mediocre at best. The eggs had shells in them, along with the home fries with bell peppers in it without any mentioning of it on the menu i saw. It could have been in there and I missed it. Either way bell peppers are the worst tasting to me and ruins anything it goes in! Honestly it was not nearly as good as everyone said but part of it was me not asking about the peppers. But the kitchen time was pretty long and needs improvement. Bonus is the "Sweets" and they bakery items looked amazing, will try them later in another review.

Yelp
Service was terrible, unfriendly staff. The food was bland and overpriced. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Yelp
Been here a couple of times. The food was quick and tasty, offering good comfort flavors. The service is a bit below average for Red Rock, and we felt the breakfast prices were a bit high for what was offered. Overall, a decent spot for quick and easy comfort food, but with room for improvement in service and pricing.

Yelp
Wanted to grab a bite and this little cafe seemed like a good spot. I ordered the fish and chips. Two nice pieces of cod with a lot of batter. The fries were just ok. My friend ordered the turkey meal with gravy and it was tasty and tender. A lot of food. Wouldn't race back here, aside from ordering the turkey meal. The service was good.
