"Lucky Santo is a counter-service restaurant that has a gluten-free, dairy-free, grain-free, legume-free, soy-free, canola oil-free, refined sugar-free menu. What’s left after that is really just meat, vegetables, and fruit disguised as things like chicken pho with zucchini noodles and sweet potato falafel with coconut cassava flatbread. While we really like the sweets (get the chaga brownie with a smoothie for a midday snack), the main dishes taste like they’re void of all signs of life. The chicken pho has raw spiralized zoodles instead of rice noodles, and it’s certainly healthy, but it’s the kind of soup that makes you hungry after five minutes. And, an otherwise-tasty chicken liver bolognese sauce is no longer comforting when it’s paired with undercooked strips of celery root instead of noodles. If you’re truly allergic to all of the things that make food good, you’ll be happy here, and we’re glad that there’s plenty of options for you. But if you’re just trying to “eat lighter,” allow us to direct you to our Kind-Of-Healthy Dinner Guide." - Aimee Rizzo

We had a really pleasant experience here. The space is really light & bright and the staff was kind. You will not like it if you're expecting the dishes to be similar to other restaurants. For instance, the chicken pho has vegetable noodles. Great in it's own right, but not the same as what you'll get at a pho restaurant. Go here expecting to try something healthy & new and you'll love it! I was a fan of the roasted chicken thigh and will be back to try a smoothie!

I love the atmosphere, fresh plants and drink options. I got the basil + chili pork stir fry. Loved it!

I really wanted to like Lucky Santo. It is about a 20-min walk from our house and offers healthy options. We ordered the Sweet Potato & Cauliflower Falafel, the Grilled Steak Salad, the Pulled Pork Bowl, and the Roasted Chicken Leg & Thigh. The food looked beautiful And definitely fresh. If you are really into this whole pickling craze that’s going on, then you would likely enjoy this restaurant. It’s not really my thing though. Therefore, I thought the chicken was pretty good and everything else was mediocre at best. I cannot comment on the service really because we ordered pick-up. The one staff member I did interact with was perfectly nice though. In addition, the prices were quite steep. I do understand that high-quality food usually leads to higher prices, but the taste has to be top notch too. In my mind, the flavor did not justify the price.I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

Our first time visiting, we were very excited. Everything was cooked perfectly, super fresh tasting and well flavored. I had the roast chicken, which might sound ho-hum, but the artichoke and sauce sold me. It was one of the best dishes I've had in a long time! Highly recommended if you want fresh, well prepared food that doesn't have toxic canola oil. Celiac friendly, as well as dairy free, no grains or legumes.

We have been to this restaurant 4 times in the last 3 weeks. Their brunch items are on point. Their chocolate smoothie is fantastic, so is the pho, and quiche. We went one day for dinner and their "noodles" were lovely. However, the steak at $25 was a bit uninspired. Most food, including the gluten free beer, is really tasty. However, the price point is a bit high. You should definitely try some of their more unique items, the pho is my favorite dish so far. I just can't give it 5 stars due to the price point. For that price I want every single dish to be amazing.

Good if you know what to expect, which I assume is the case for most patrons! The cod sandwich and the stir fry were good, the burgers not so much. Overall, a decent gluten free option. Nice to have in your back pocket for when a family member with celiac is visiting. Prices were possibly $1-3/plate too high.

LOVE everything about Lucky Santo! The deliciously fresh food and the clean and vibrant space make it a really special new gem. Right away we felt welcomed and cozy in the beautiful space. Our first meal was weekend brunch. WoW. Insane gluten free crispy almond waffle. The baked goods are all a huge hit and I can taste why. Always my fave combo... seasonal quiche with lightly dressed greens, yum. The sweet potato and cauliflower falafel with slaw and wrap is a super tasty, big, lunch-size portion. The roast is so juicy, cooked perfectly and big! Everything is so fresh and clean, yet hearty and very pleasing. I don’t have any dietary restrictions but I certainly did NOT miss the gluten at all. We are super impressed with the expert wine selection and the good prices. We are extremely pleased with Lucky Santo and look forward to smoothies and grab-and-go for summer! Outdoor seating to come?! <3

Awesome little bistro if you're looking for some gluten-free options. We tried the sweet potato and cauliflower falafel as well as the pulled pork bowl. Both were delicious. The service was very good and the staff were well-informed (we had lots of questions about the GF menu since this was our first visit). While its location is a little off the main thoroughfares, it is definitely worth the effort!! We're already thinking about our next visit!
