Lucky's Café

Nice quaint, cozy coffee shop vibe. As a photographer I was impressed with the presentation of the entrees. Food was good... but the biscuit and gravy could use a little more effort with the flavor to bring it out of the mushroom soup stage. Overall great experience, and waiter was attentive.

First time trying Lucky's. Food was really good we left with a full belly. Stopped at the pastry counter before we left. The diner is small but overall we had a good experience despite waiting outside for our table to be ready.

We had a wonderful lunch at Lucky’s Cafe! Both ordered the Reuben Sandwich & our respective coffee beverages. 10/10 will come back. Delicious and our sever Marina was so kind and helpful.

Overall, our experience was quite enjoyable. While the service was a little on the slow side and somewhat disappointing, it didn't overshadow the overall vibe of the place, which was absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was amazing, and at around $20 per person, it felt like good value for the quality of food.

I’ve dined at Luck’s Cafe so many times through the years. Always great service and culture. Blown away again by the flavor explosion every dish delivers! I love the beautiful dessert case! Always a pleasure to visit. ♥️

What a nice find. My mother and I decided to have breakfast once a week and try new places around town. My wife told me about this place that is minutes away from Westside Market. We decided to give it a try, and we came back a second time. The first time we came, I got the Shipwreck with a side biscuit. The toast was probably my favorite thing on the plate. The eggs were dry, and everything didn't taste well mixed together. It would be better separated. It's like a scamble with potatoes, not hashbrowns. Perhaps it was my own personal preference. The biscuit was nice, but it needs butter on the side. It was dry, not moist, but has a nice crispy outside. I'm from the south. We butter our biscuits when they come out of the oven. My mother tried the Trible B salad with a side of curry chicken salad. She said both were delightful and delicious. On our second visit, we both got the strawberry rhubarb waffles with a side of Pecan bacon. I was very impressed with the waffles. They didn't have a crispy outside, but they were very good and very tasty. The bacon was chewy, but I like that sometimes. It had a nice flavor, but I probably won't get it again. Overall, it was nice. We will be going back again for another visit. I would definitely recommend trying it out.

I randomly chose this place because my go-to breakfast spot was closed, and I’m so glad I did! The food is fantastic — fresh, tasty, and perfectly prepared. Our server was wonderful, super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is adorable — whimsical, cozy, and full of charm. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger over coffee and soak in the vibes while enjoying a great meal. Honestly, this is one of those restaurants I’ll be coming back to over and over. Great food, friendly service, and a really lovely setting — you can’t go wrong!

It had been many years since I visited Lucky’s. The food & service was just as good as I remember. First, they have great quality coffee with endless refills. The breakfast burger was exquisite especially the house made English muffin. Biscuits & gravy were excellent. We took home some baked goods and loved all of them, but the caramelized banana cake was incredible.

The BEST breakfast I've had in Cleveland! The biscuits and gravy will bring a tear to your eye they're so good! The canoe wreck was equally as impressive! The pastries we ordered to go were delicious and the latte will ruin you for all other lattes! The service was a bit slow but it was a very busy morning so it was understandable. My only complaint was that a table of regulars seated after us had their order taken immediately while our table and the seated before us had to wait almost 10 minutes to order.

Lucky's is one of my go-to brunch spots. This time, I had the shrimp and grits, while my friend ordered the Shipwreck. Both dishes were delicious, and our server was warm and attentive. I also tried the cinnamon roll, and it was easily one of the best I've ever had. Lucky's has a casual vibe, perfect for pairs or small groups, but I wouldn't recommend it for groups larger than four. Be prepared for a wait--arriving right when they open is a smart move!

I was impressed with this place! The biscuits entree was amazing: there was a great texture contrast between the crunchy cheddar biscuits and the smooth and rich sausage gravy. The potatoes were not hash browns as advertised (they were diced potatoes), but at least they were crunchy! I tried my brother's eggs en croute (eggs baked in cream, spinach, and Parmesan) which was so rich and delicious - but it was a misnomer. En croute means it's wrapped in dough and baked. I think they possibly meant eggs en cocette (baked eggs in pots). This comes alongside the brûléed oatmeal, which was fancy and also delicious! I also tried some of the toast with blueberry jam. It had a great crunch and texture, and the blueberry jam was just the right amount of sweetness. Food was slow to come out (45+ min) and there was not a ton of seating room inside, but worth the wait. Not a huge menu to choose from, but I'd eat those biscuits again in a heartbeat!

What a great breakfast spot! This spot definitely deserves it's flowers and it's hype. My buddy and I were visiting in Cleveland and was recommended this breakfast spot. It's famous for being featured on the food network on several different shows so we were excited to try it. There was a little bit of a wait (15 minutes) to be seated, but that's to be expected at a good eatery. Our waiter was awesome. He really sold us all the food we got. Most of his recommendations were spot on. We started with the cinnamon rolls. That was my least favorite food item. It was just "ok". The icing was sparse and dry. But the roll was yummy. The candied bacon was also highly recommended. That was also just "ok". I felt there was almost too much brown sugar topping. Probably wouldn't order it again. For breakfast, I ordered the BISCUITS, which was the breakfast item featured on all the Food Channel's shows. It was really delicious, best thing I ate in Cleveland. I am a huge biscuits and gravy fan, but this was a great version of it. My buddy ordered the WAFFLES. Those were amazing too. Strawberry rhubarb with caramel drizzle over whipped cream was a great combo... highly recommend! Other than the cinnamon roll and candied bacon, the rest of our meal was phenomenal. The ambiance was nice and the staff was helpful. Have to give this a 5 Star review. One of the best breakfast spots I have been to.

Cute restaurant! A nice spot in Tremont for breakfast. Check the hours, they are not open for early breakfast or on Tuesdays. I went with my mom and we had a great time. The menu options for breakfast was a little limited, but we did enjoy getting a breakfast item and a Reuben before 10 AM to make it a fun brunch. I would like to give this a five but I'm giving it a four because of the limited breakfast options and I like to eat breakfast early and the restaurant only opens at 9 AM.

I was super excited to try this restaurant because of the many years worth of good reviews but I'm never going back sad to say. The experience was disappointing. They served me undercooked bacon, refused to take it back and cook it properly and, instead, placed it in a to-go box and charged me for it. I am giving two stars purely based on the biscuits and gravy which were delicious. However, the situation devolved quickly from there. The service was friendly at first, but slow because it was very busy. I went by myself first thing in the morning on a Sunday. There was a mix of people there, some of whom came based on the word of mouth and some of whom were regulars. The ambience was boisterous inside but reasonable conversational level, not sure how it was outside. I ordered the vegan soup, the famous pecan bacon, their biscuits and gravy that were featured on The Best Thing I Ever Ate, and a Reuben featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. The vegan soup never came, and when I asked to have it removed from my bill, I was shot an evil look, no apology. I took one bite of the bacon and, as you can see in the picture, it was flabby, chewy and undercooked. I spit it out in my napkin. When I asked to send it back, they said, "Well, since you already bit into it we can't take it back." Huh? They not only didn't apologize, they refused to take it back and cook it properly. The woman then said it's cooked in an oven and if I wanted it crispy, I have to tell them I want crispy bacon in advance. Could the server have shared that with me when I was ordering? I said OK, just take it off my check then. She goes, "The manager will not let you return it." Instead of cooking it correctly, the woman actually took the bacon, put it in a to-go box and brought me the check. It was as if they were saying, "Hey, you're not the first person who has complained we undercook the bacon and we have a plan in place for people like you." I've been dining and working in restaurants, all my life, and I've never, ever been told that someone wouldn't refire an order that was undercooked. When I got home, I tried the Reuben and potato salad. The bread was crispy, the corned beef sliced thick and meaty but there were only two slices of corned beef on the sandwich. Clearly, it's not the sandwich Guy recommended. My advice to people ordering (which I will follow from now on): always ask for well done or crispy bacon. Consuming undercooked bacon can be dangerous and it can cause problems like salmonella or tapeworms. Google "Florida bacon tapeworms" for a recent example if you're curious. I'm sure the bacon they serve is high-quality but when I ask for bacon, I personally want it to be cooked through and not flabby. From a place that has so much popularity and so many people waiting, why is this the experience that they would want any customer to have and be vehemently unapologetic about? I don't like posting a negative review, but you earned it. If you like slightly undercooked bacon and service that says "the customer is always wrong", Lucky's is your spot and you should enjoy it. We stopped at Lucky's Cafe to get some brunch over the weekend, and I really enjoyed my experience. They were crowded, but we got seated within 10-15 minutes. Due to the volume of patrons service was a little slow, but that's to be expected. Our server was so sweet, I believe her name was Nola, but I am not sure. The restaurant itself is nice and quaint with outside patio seating as well. The inside feels like a cozy coffee shop that just adds to the experience. I ordered the Honey Lavender Chai Latte with oat milk, the Waffles, and a side of scrambled eggs. My partner had the Biscuits entree and a Chai Latte. Their chai lattes are absolutely delicious! I will say that mine was sweeter due to the lavender syrup, but still great. My waffles were a great treat as well. I loved the lemon curd and the blueberry compote as they offset the sweetness of the dish. My partner enjoyed the biscuits entree. I personally would prefer if the eggs were not covered with the gravy in addition to the biscuit. I also felt like the dish needed another flavor profile or texture to complement the gravy and biscuit.

I came by on a Saturday with the intention of grabbing a drink and brunch but there was an hour wait for a table. So, I came back on a Tuesday and was served right away. The Heathers Cocktail and Thai Iced Tea were my favorite drinks and their tomato soup was delicious!

Our first visit to Luckys was delightful. My family of 5 came for a late breakfast/ early lunch. We were seated right away and had a friendly server who explained some of the menu items. We have some vegetarians in the group and they were very accommodating to eliminate some ingredients. The portions were very large. The coffee was hot and tasty and overall we had an excellent experience. We even bought some granola to take home. We liked it so much. Nice and cozy ambiance, especially on a cold winter day.

The food is really good. Service here is slow, it took an hour to get our food. Was not worth the wait.

First time to Cleveland area and to Lucky's Cafe. I saw many reviews and posts that recommended this spot. Plus a kind woman that I sat by on the flight also recommended it. It's located in a neighborhood on a one way street. No dedicated parking lot, only street parking. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. In addition to their menu, they also offer fresh baked goods, coffee and a variety of merchandise and gift options. This place is decorated so cute! So many interesting and cool details. We had a pumpkin spice latte ($5.25) and fireside s'more mocha ($6.50). Hands down the BEST cup of coffee I had my entire time in Cleveland! You gotta go by there and get one. You will not be disappointed. Our service was excellent and the staff are great. We had the Biscuits ($17.75). This plate was full of delicious flavors! Very nice portion and can be shared so you can try more than one option. I loved the T-shirts with their logo so much that I bought 2 of them. They are $18, super soft and high quality. This place is a MUST try! Thank you for great food and awesome dining experience!

This place was so amazing! The Fall Squash Dumpling starter recommended by our bubbly friendly and helpful waitress Molly was the highlight of the breakfast show. Dumplings, corn and vegetables all were perfectly meshed into a warm fill up your belly and take a nap dish reminding you of grandmas cooking. The Fireside S'more Mocha was presented so beautifully. My husband does not like coffee but absolutely loved this spin. The Wagu Beef Stew was also extremely flavorful and filled with a decent amount of meat and vegetables. Each were close runner ups for sure. We also ordered the biscuit dish with eggs and gravy and the side of pecan bacon. While these dishes were also great; the dumplings and the rest of our starter dishes still remained number 1 for us. This farm to table establishment was truly delicious and well worth a stop. Every food order was delicious, flavorful and tantalizing. Get there early. Street parking. Outdoor dining.

The food and service were great. My favorite was the cheesy grits. We also had the Lucky's Reuben and the Breakfast Burrito. The place was a house converted into a restaurant. It was quaint and really cute. I would go back weekly if it wasn't for the fact I live 4 hours away.

We were very disappointed by the food, and service. This is an establishment we have been trying to go to for quite some time, but had not been able to due to the extensive wait time. After waiting 35 minutes for a table, we anticipated an excellent breakfast. The menu on their website was inaccurate, and the items we wanted to order were unavailable. The food we did order was subpar, and the service was horrible. They had 5 servers, for a small reatraunt with less than 20 tables, but we were never checked on, and had to wave down a server to get something as simple as a refill of water. We were very disappointed by the establishment and would never return, despite the high ratings.

We popped by Lucky's cafe while visiting Cleveland after I saw some amazing yelp reviews. It was in a random little spot of town but well worth the trip! The servers were all friendly and it was the cutest spot with a very "homey" feel to it. The restaurant is located in a small renovated home with an adorable outdoor area. I started with their seasonal honeydew matcha latte which was awesome! After reading some reviews on Yelp, we decided to go with the must have biscuits, pecan bacon, and famous Reuben. Everything came in huge portions for the price and ridiculously delicious. Their famous pecan bacon was to die for and both the biscuit/Reuben were must haves. Each bite was a burst of flavor and overall super enjoyable. Would definitely recommend Lucky's if you're in the Cleveland area, you'll get plenty of bang for your buck and an incredible meal! Hope to try some of their sweeter dishes next time with a bigger stomach. Don't miss out!

Breakfast was delicious. The homemade English muffin, the preserves, the coffee, everything was delicious and they were the best scrambled eggs I've had in my life It's a small place, but worth the wait. I'm from Ann Arbor/Detroit area and was in town for a wedding. If I'm even close to Cleveland again I'm going there.

Lucky's is undoubtedly the best brunch spot in Cleveland! I love coming here, especially for their brunch. However, be prepared for long waits on the weekends as it's incredibly popular. Despite the wait, the food is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend trying the baked mac n cheese--add bacon if you're a fan, it's simply amazing. The ambiance is relaxed, with a charming diner vibe. Although the space is small and tends to get crowded on weekends, the experience is worth it. It can be a bit pricey, but the quality justifies the cost!

I moved to Cleveland right before the COVID lockdown started, so I've only recently started hitting up famed Cleveland establishments. So there I was, just watching Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives (as you do), and saw Lucky's Cafe featured, particularly its biscuits and gravy. That's one of my favorite foods, so I had to go and check out these tv famous biscuits myself! We went on a busy Sunday late morning, having to wait a bit for a table to fit the three of us. Once we were seated, the waiter took our drink orders then went AWOL for like 15 minutes until we flagged someone else down. I didn't get a drink but the others at my table did and they said their chocolate-heavy coffees were very good, although kind of cooled down. For food, we all ordered something different with me, the only meat-eater, ordering the biscuits and gravy. These are cheddar scallion biscuits topped with scrambled eggs and a sausage gravy. I had the gravy on the side. It also included hash browns and a few grapes. The biscuits were very good, although kind of hard - remencent of a hockey puck. I liked them anyway as I love creative savory biscuits and the scallions really stood out. The gravy was delish as well. The potatoes were good, although i wish there was more of them, and the grapes somewhat soft, but we did come in late on a busy day so maybe I just got the bottom of the barrel grapes. I intend to go back to Lucky's soon and try some of their famous reubens and pastries! I recommend this restaurant.

Great service. When it says "fresh fruit" it was just one strawberry one pineapple and one something else I forgot, so I almost felt deceived. Regardless, I enjoyed it.

If you're looking for a great brunch spot, look no further. My parter had the biscuits and gravy, he said the best he has ever eaten. I had a BLT, it had tomatoes from the garden behind the cafe, fresh lettuce, locally farmed bacon and a mild avocado/corn dressing for the condiment. So delicious. Everything is made in house or local and we could tell by the tastes of everything we had. I've heard they're swamped most of the time but we were fortunate to arrive at a slower time, we were seated immediately and served promptly. Our server and all employees were pleasant yet professional. I can't recommend more highly

After waiting over an hour and half... we are seated. Then, the food arrives. Friend tells me it is delicious, but after all that buildup, I am honestly dismayed. There isn't anything all that special? I expected more and hope to give it a second chance

Went for brunch this morning (Sat). It was packed. Got there at 11 and there was a 40 min wait- took at least 40 mins. Right as we were seated the place seemed to clear out a bit. It's cozy inside, not mainly tables and everyone is friendly. We had the biscuits and gravy, shipwreck and pecan bacon. Shipwreck, hold the toast, was about the only gluten free find without doing side orders. It was really good. Hubs said the biscuits and gravy were good. The pecan bacon is what I'd come back for though. Homemade hot sauce was very nice!

I hardly ever leave a bad review, but all the way around this was a terrible experience. We arrived and got seated. There were 4 of us. It took our server forever to get our order. I finally had to ask her to take it. Food came out and looked okay. We all munched away. Pricing is very expensive for Cleveland brunch/lunch. I know it is supposed to be higher quality, but it is costly. Our server dropped the check and I went to pay. Paid the bill and ordered some pastries to go. These were good, but not great especially considering the price. So I get back to our table and the server questions whether I paid in a very accusatory manner. There were 4 business women out to lunch. Not sure why she thought we wouldn't pay. After 3 of the 4 of us all got very sick. Do not recommend!

Went to Luckys for brunch on Saturday morning. Got there around 10:40 and the wait was 40-45 minutes. It got much longer between then and 11 so I would get there between 10:15-10:30. There isn't much room to wait inside so be prepared for that. However, it's a really cute place with a little cafe in the front where you can get coffee and baked goods. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because the service was a bit slow. Took a while for someone to come over and get our drink order. I ordered the biscuits with the gravy on the side. It was delicious! The potatoes were amazing. Everyone in my group loved what they got.

If you go be prepared for 45 minute to an hour wait. The only saving grace from this place was their coffee. The cappuccino and lattes were on point other than that the oatmeal had a weird texture pecan bacon, had way too much pecan on it instead of eating a hint of pecan, you were eating a a bag of pecans. Servers seem like we were inconveniencing her asking her questions.

People have always raved about Lucky's Cafe and I finally had the opportunity to try it myself! On a sunny Saturday morning, we arrived about 10 minutes before opening and there was already a short line out the door. We found a parking spot right in front of the restaurant and I assume most people aren't that lucky! Note: street parking is the only available option here, be prepped to parallel park. As the doors opened right at 9 am, we filed inside the establishment and the aroma of baked goods filled our lungs. Ahh, it smelled delicious! Once we were seated, we started off with a Lucky's Latte, which is their signature drink. The latte even had a "L" marked with honey right on top! Food-wise we ordered their famous Biscuits and their current special item, Monte Cristo. Since it was busy, our food took a little bit of time to come out but it was understandable. Once the food came out, my phone ate first and then we both dug in! Their Biscuits dish was hearty and I can see why it made it on "The Best Thing I Ever Ate." Although smothered in sausage gravy, the biscuit was crunchy and had a great texture to it. The Monte Cristo was also another hearty one, and unlike the Biscuits, this is a sweet dish. The "bread" of the sandwich is dipped in an egg batter (similar to that of french toast) and then topped with maple syrup and lightly dusted with powdered sugar. Reminded me of a McGriddle, but obviously with fresh ingredients! The potatoes that came along with it were quite dry, wondering if it's because they are russet potatoes. It was not exactly what I was expecting. Overall, the food was tasty and due to their large portion sizes, a dish can definitely be shared. Cute and unique brunch spot in Tremont!

Going out for breakfast isn't super easy, always, as a vegan -- so when looking for a spot for myself and the crew while passing thru Cleveland, I invoked the "tofu scramble" Yelp search, very quickly yielding this solid recommendation. Within short order, I learned that Guy Fieri had blown this spot up a bit with a feature on The Show with The Alliterative Title, but I digress -- I'm not there for that. I'm there for the Canoe Wreck (with Dry Toast), which I now know is definitively The Best tofu scramble I've ever had. All the flavors at Lucky's are fresh and homemade, the service is enthusiastic, friendly; we got there early and beat a line out the door (lucky, eh? EHHH????). Our daughters sat on church pews near windows overlooking an outdoor eating area and a small chef's garden, from which ingredients are harvested as needed. I also learned there was a homemade hot sauce, so, yeah, that was delightful to try, also. The whole crew was pleased as punch and I'm still thinkin' about that Canoe Wreck. Naturally, I took a photo so I could stare at it and get hungry. Great baked goods, too, to buy on the way out -- the vegan muffin I had was solid and unexpected. Cleveland's a damn fine town with some damn fine breakfast spots, yeah? Yeah.

Charming farm-to-table cafe. Best tofu veggie scramble I've ever had, including the ones I make, which are pretty darn good. Portion was huge. Tried my husband's gingerbread waffle. Not usually a gingerbread fan but the taste was subtle and really delicious. Good coffee. Husband said the hot chocolate was good and it was certainly visually lovely. Staff are friendly and efficient. We'll be back soon.

Love coming here for brunch! The biscuits are delicious. The sausage gravy is very flavorful, the eggs are fluffy, and the hash browns were nice and crisp. The place is also super cute but small.

The place is very overpriced, the biscuit and gravy where horrible only tasted the "Green Onion" on top. Service was slow. If you're looking for a great brunch skip this place it's extremely overrated.

I don't get the hype. Waited 20 minutes for water. Cinnamon bun was super dry. My thai iced tea was mostly milk. We were never asked how our food/drinks tasted.

A severely underrated location in Cleveland! I took my mom for a nice Sunday brunch and I was honestly blown away. All of their food is locally sourced and so fresh. We ended up splitting a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato bisque. The grilled cheese had spinach and mushrooms. It was honestly so crispy and light despite being full of butter and cheese. The waitress recommended the matcha melon tea as their special and it was so light and perfect for a summer day. They have a beautiful outdoor patio and will definitely come again, especially on a warm and sunny day.

After we landed in Cleveland, our group decided to look for somewhere to have breakfast at. My husband found this place on Yelp, so we all agreed to check it out. Small, cute restaurant with a small menu to match. My husband and I split the Reuben sandwich and I am so glad we did! I didn't even finish my half of the sandwich - it was greasy and way too heavy. My friends ordered the waffles which looked DELICIOUS and the granola and fruit bowl which also looked excellent. They both said they liked their meals. The service was good, I now wish I would've ordered something different!

After I landed in Cleveland in the morning, my friend and I decided to visit Lucky's Cafe for breakfast. We didn't eat anything in the morning, so we were quite hungry. But damn, we were so full by the end! Lucky's Cafe is best on portions. The portions for the drinks are big! The portions for their dishes are big! When I first noticed this was when my friend and I ordered 16oz hot drinks. They brought us out massive cups and they fill their drinks to the brim (almost). We were quite surprised that we asked if this was the smallest size, they responded yes. As for the food, I was immediately intrigued by the menu options shipwreck and canoewreck (it's such clever names!). I decided to opt for shipwreck. My friend decided to choose the biscuits because it was featured the TV show "The Best Things I've Ever Ate". Ultimately, we decided to share both dishes. There was so much food on the plate with all the protein & carb overload. I was so full and honestly couldn't finish everything. Their food taste great, their portions are excellent, service is great (the servers were running around serving the oncoming customers despite the hot weather outside and lack of adequate A/C inside). We were very satisfied and started our day on a full stomach :)

Excellent breakfast spot! We came here based on the great reviews, and so glad we did! We came on a Saturday. They open at 9:00. We got there at 8:45am and were first in line. By 8:50, 10+ people had got in line behind us. Get there early if you don't want to wait!! I ordered a medium hazelnut latte which was huge and very tasty. I ordered the biscuits for my entree. Absolutely delicious!!! Very filling! Definitely check this place out!

The food is amazing. I loved the atmosphere and especially the friendliness of the staff. Free street parking was available making the entire experience easy. Highly recommend

Lucky's is in a unique location and can easily be overlooked but you don't want to miss out on this place. I loved the ambiance inside and out, their display of pastries, and some local products all located right when you walk in this house-made cafe. The food seemed very fresh and cooked with love. We sat outside on the patio enjoying the fresh air. If you haven't tried Lucky's yet then I suggest you hurry up and do it.

It's no secret Lucky's Cafe is a legit breakfast and lunch powerhouse with an amazing bread, coffee and bakery selection to boot. Whether you sit inside or dine in the side yard...you can bring your dog if you do, you will love the food, vibe and service at Lucky's. I try not to order the same thing every time we go to Lucky's but I love the waffles that much! Oh and the chai is amazing too, especially if they dust it with cinnamon and cloves. My husband is partial to the bacon, eggs of any variety and the pile of breakfast potatoes. Whatever you order, lunch or breakfast you will not be disappointed, you can taste the local ingredients and scratch made goodness coming from the kitchen. The fall is my favorite time of year to order, the steeped apple compotes are great. So get there soon, don't forget to take bakery to go, a loaf of bread is always a must. And if you are like my husband you will go every week to get a bag of coffee beans.

Our first time. I am only mad because we've not been before and have been missing out! Wonderful service. Great atmosphere. Food and coffee were amazing. Looking forward to our next visit.

Had the most bizarrely rude server at 10 am on 10/13. Never said her name but black hair piled on top of her head. Avoided taking our order and then aggressively rude when she did take our order. Unsurprisingly part of our order didn't arrive, but she never checked on us and we had to ask another server for the bill. Mentioned what happened to the hostess and she suggested we come back and get a different server. Umm, ok, guess you're ok with customers being treated like dirt. No thanks.

Fantastic little place! We came for New Year's Eve breakfast and were not disappointed! The food was exquisite and well portioned. Everything is farm-to-table so it's all totally fresh and tastes wonderful. The ambiance is warm and cozy, too, perfect for nice conversation. Our server, Nova, was very friendly and hospitable and took very good care of us. Overall a lovely experience!

I wish I knew that Lucky's took reservations because it would've saved me a lot of time. I've heard great things about this place, and have had it on my list for a long while to try out. So I finally had a Saturday morning where I was able to go! Unfortunately, when we got there they said there was about a 1.5 hour wait. So we went somewhere else for coffee during that wait, although they called us back a half hour later. So we had to drive back only to find that our table was gone, as our drive back was 10 minutes but she then told us that they give our table away after five minutes. That was somewhat upsetting, so we put our names on the list again for another 20 minute wait. Eventually, we just decided to get it to go and sit at the park bench she's across the street. Nonetheless, the people who worked there were really nice and I'm assuming it was just the craziness of how busy the place was so I am understandable of that. Since the place was overcrowded and with COVID still in full swing, I appreciated eating outside on a beautiful day more anyways. ALSO, wanted to take note of something I GREATLY appreciate that I never see anywhere anymore. The hostesses and people up front that worked there were ALL wearing masks and were wearing them CORRECTLY. Thank you for that. A lot of us genuinely appreciate it. Moving onto the food. I got the breakfast burritos. The sauce was really good and flavorful and I loved dipping the potatoes into it. Although the portions could've been bigger at that cost... it seemed like a really small burrito so I feel like with two, it would've been the perfect amount. We also got the biscuits. They were fulfilling, and decent as well. The biscuits impressed me more moreso with the flavor. But I'm the end I think I might've had high expectations due to how much I've heard about this place . Overall, it was a good experience and would like to try something else off the menu another day. It takes a few tries to know whether to become a regular or not and I'm looking forward to it as I love the location as well!

Went out for breakfast for my birthday - we had seen it featured in Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives and it looked so good we had to try it! Parking in Tremont just stinks, so we knew before we even arrived that finding a spot would be a challenge. We only had to park a block or so away, so that was a nice surprise. We had to wait about 5 minutes for a table, so we just sat on a bench in the park across the street which was nice and in the shade. Our server was quick to explain that what they don't grow in the garden at the restaurant is sourced from local producers within a 100-mile radius, they are very serious about farm to table. We ordered specialty coffees to start, and they also brought out glasses of water in aluminum tumblers which helped to keep our drinks nice and cold. They also gave us a bottle of water at the table to use to refill ourselves which I appreciated. I a not much of a coffee drinker, but I gave in and ordered a mocha with a shot of marshmallow. It was so dang yummy - I almost finished it all before my food came! My boyfriend and my daughter both got the cheddar biscuits with gravy and said it was really good. I had the waffles with strawberry rhubarb compote, whipped cream, and caramel drizzle and it was so, so amazing!! I rarely finish my food at restaurants but I wiped my plate clean here - the compote was just so sweet, tart, and delicious. They have a variety of sandwiches too - I wanted to try the Reuben, but for sides, they only offer potato salad and that is one thing I just don't like. If there had been chips or fries I would have changed my mind. A couple that sat next to us asked if we were visiting for the first time (when we were looking at the menu) and said that they came regularly and that everything was delicious, so that was nice to know! Since it was my birthday they brought my waffles with little candles on it - I thought it was very thoughtful! All the servers seemed to look out for all the tables, so even though we had one main one to take our order and bring drinks, the others jumped in when we needed our check, etc. After eating we went outside and walked through their garden - they grow so much of their food right there on the property! Lucky's is not cheap - breakfast for three with specialty coffees came to about $70 before tip, but when the food is that good, it's worth it. All in all, we had a fabulous experience and would definitely visit again!!

This small in size, but big in taste cafe in s amazing. The service was exemplary and all of the staff checked in with us throughout our time. The ambience was cozy and laid back. They even have outside seating with shade. Thank you Lucky's Cafe for the best breakfast full of flavor.

Great service--everyone was friendly even though they were very busy. The biscuits and gravy were delicious! Coffee had a nice depth of flavor and the OJ was fresh squeezed. In a pleasant area of Tremont and we enjoyed the walk there and back in the neighborhood.
