The Best Seafood in Nashville, Tennessee | Eater Nashville

"This steak and seafood spot may be tucked into a corner of a Brentwood strip mall, but the menu keeps locals and visitors alike returning time and again. The raw and grill bar options span fresh oysters and shrimp cocktail (or both in a seafood tower), while the mains form an impressive list of dishes — i.e.blackened redfish, lobster tail, sea scallops, and grilled salmon. A second location recently opened in Franklin’s idyllic Berry Farm’s neighborhood." - Kellie Walton

We decided to eat here for Christmas Eve dinner hoping to have a lovely Christmas Eve dinner and it was unfortunately not that. We had to ask 3 times for a high chair even though it was noted in our reservation. We had to ask 4+ times for silverware, napkins & plates and they didn’t show up until after bread/appetizers were already finished. We were seated in a small private room off the main dining room which seemed ideal since we had a 1.5 year old with us but unfortunately this just meant we were overlooked all night. The food was mediocre and was not hot when it arrived to the table. We had to ask for the sides twice and they came out well after the entrees had already been served. There was also a 3% service charge if you used a credit card which I have honestly never seen at a restaurant before. We were incorrectly charged for my wine which was on the menu at $14/glass and we were charged $18/glass. It appears that the server automatically put in the 9oz glass when I wasn’t asked if I wanted a 6oz or 9oz glass. We shared appetizers among the table & we were not asked how these should be split among the bills. We also did not know it was going to be a limited menu. It was not noted on their website nor on Resy when we made the reservation. Unfortunately not a great Christmas Eve experience with the family.

Read reviews and despite i decided to give it a The menu sounds delicious but the food is, well, I won’t order again. The side of scallop potatoes came from a box, no season, the serving size was the size of my palm and 12.95 down the drain, the side of lobster Mac and cheese and no lobster in it and a flavorless spiral pasta dish. 23.00 and I fed it to my dog. He Better have enjoyed it. Save your money and go to Texas Road House.

We've ordered to go burgers twice. Burgers are great but not worth the wait and frustration. The first time we rec'd a text our curbside order was ready as we were pulling around to the back. Called them to let them know we were there. 10 minutes later, still no food. Called them again to let them know we were still waiting for our food that was ready before we parked. 5 minutes later, still no food. Drove around front and went inside. Not busy at all. Waited a couple of minutes for someone to show up to tell we had a to go order. The order tonight I went inside from the start to pick up order. There were 2 4 person tables and 3 people at the bar, that's it. There was no one at the hostess desk. I waited for about 10 minutes, standing where the people behind the glass in the kitchen can see me, didn't help. Finally a waitress heads to the other side to check on her table and I meet her coming around as I am going to that side to say hey, I have a to go order. She's nice enough. Goes to the kitchen, comes back 3 or 4 minutes later with 4 food containers and is trying to hand them to me. I asked if she had a bag and she said sorry we're out of bags. Good grief. Okay. Like I said, burgers were good but we won't be back.

Overpriced and underwhelming. Let me start by saying the atmosphere is great. This place has a lot of potential, especially given its location. The restaurant is very clean and well kept—no complaints there. Service was also solid overall. We were seated quickly despite the size of our party, and our server was informative and prompt with taking our order. That said, the dining experience itself was disappointing. Finished plates sat in front of me far too long, and empty glasses of sweet tea accumulated before being cleared. I started with the shrimp cocktail, which had noticeable browning and a presentation comparable to a casual chain restaurant. It wasn’t ice cold and felt closer to room temperature—acceptable at best, but not what I’d expect at this price point. I ordered a salad expecting it before my steak, but it arrived after the steak had already been served. Because the table hadn’t been cleared, I had to use the space in front of my son just to set the salad down. Fortunately, he decided he wasn’t hungry, so the space was available. My steak was overcooked, very thinly cut, and had a large fatty portion. While the flavor was decent, the execution missed the mark. My wife’s filet came out overcooked, was sent back, and then returned undercooked. She didn’t finish it. The mac and cheese had an odd, off-putting taste. The salad itself was served on a warm plate—likely straight from the dishwasher—which caused the lettuce to wilt and left the salad watery. In short, this is not the type of experience I would expect when spending well over $200 for two people. I wasn’t expecting Eddie V’s, but I did expect better than Logan’s. Very disappointing overall. I would not return unless management holds the kitchen accountable and significantly improves both food quality and presentation.

We ate at the bar last night around 7 pm. I was halfway through my meal and my husband had completed his burger when I noticed a small roach crawling across his plate. We then noticed many more that were crawling on the bar and onto his plates. We asked to speak to the manager and showed the staff. The manager never came out, but the server came out with a check for our drinks. The servers were fantastic. I’m so sad because we like this place and they have a great happy hour. Cannot go back again after this.

Overall, the available food tasted good. It took the waitress several trips to confirm what food and beers they had in stock. They did not even have local beer or lobster for their lobster and Mac n cheese available. The online menu did not match what they offered. Service was slow with the last person receiving their food after most were done. This was surprising since when we got there we were the only table. Overall, for the price point, it was extremely disappointing. I highly recommend you look somewhere else.

Worst dining experience in every category. Service was extremely poor. Waited 15 minutes for someone to greet our table and take our drink order. Several staff passed our table and did not even smile or acknowledge us. I spoke up and asked if a server was assigned to our table. Finally, someone approached us just as we were about to leave. I wish we had done so. The cowboy nachos were served on stale chips- maybe 5 small pieces of brisket on the nachos. The jumbo shrimp cocktail was regular to small size shrimp I can get at publix. We ordered caesar salads. Mine with chicken that was not edible. I believe it was out of date or spoiled. Disgusting flavor. My husband ordered salmon. The prices here are high- the food quality, service, and execution were low. Will not be back.

Ludlow & Prime Steakhouse is not just a dinner destination; it is a masterclass in modern, high-end hospitality. From the moment we stepped inside, the urban-chic atmosphere—rich with warm lighting, polished wood, and a sophisticated buzz—promised a special night, and the experience delivered on every single promise. This is easily one of the premier dining spots in the Nashville area. While the food was extraordinary, the true highlight of our night was the impeccable service provided by our server, Eve. Eve is the epitome of professional excellence. She was perfectly attentive without ever hovering, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Her recommendations for the wine pairing were spot-on, and she navigated the menu with an impressive knowledge that made ordering effortless and exciting. She was genuinely warm, ensuring our pace was perfect and that every moment of our celebratory dinner felt special and cared for. Eve transformed an excellent meal into a truly unforgettable experience. While the food was extraordinary, the true highlight of our night was the impeccable service provided by our server, Eve.
