The Best Seafood in Nashville, Tennessee | Eater Nashville

"This steak and seafood spot may be tucked into a corner of a Brentwood strip mall, but the menu keeps locals and visitors alike returning time and again. The raw and grill bar options span fresh oysters and shrimp cocktail (or both in a seafood tower), while the mains form an impressive list of dishes — i.e.blackened redfish, lobster tail, sea scallops, and grilled salmon. A second location recently opened in Franklin’s idyllic Berry Farm’s neighborhood." - Kellie Walton

We have gone for dinner six times since it opened, really wanting this place to be great. We have experienced moments of promise. But my wife has ordered, and recommended to our guests the shrimp and grits four times. The first time it was spectacular. The second time, the grits were old, dry and inedible. She politely told the waiter that the dish is so delicious, but to look at the grits. He seemed to acknowledge and then walk away, saying and doing nothing. We thought it odd, but moved on. Tonight, she and her dad ordered the dish. When delivered to the table, hers was wildly over-spiced and was even a darker color (see pic). She told the waitress, who went to the kitchen to ask about it and came back saying the two dishes were made in the same pan. We were stunned, because they clearly looked and tasted very different. The waitress offered to make her something else. She said she would really just like her choice done right… And the waitress left. I went to the front to ask if the chef would visit and tell us these two dishes were the same and were told he wasn’t in (on Friday at 6 pm). We were not difficult and tried to encourage them to simply discuss and make it right. But the rest of the night, the initially friendly waitress just came by to fill waters and mainly gave us the silent treatment. Later, the manager came by to offer us dessert. It was surprising in that he was the person at the host stand when I asked to speak with the chef and never offered that he was the manager. For what it’s worth, my mother-in-law said her salmon was among the best she’s ever had. This place has potential. But the food is wildly inconsistent and the staff doesn’t seem to know how to handle making it right for the guests.

A must try! We will for sure be back! Great taste, great quality and great atmosphere. We came here to celebrate a birthday and man it was a great choice!

Just had a very nice meal at the Bar. Zoe the Bartender made good drinks and good service. She suggested I choose the pork chop and it was cooked perfectly and delicious. Good job young Lady and Thank You!

Waited until we've had a number of visits over the last few months to write a review, in the hopes this would improve. It hasn't. Constantly out of menu items. And now they've launched a brunch and today the two signature items on the menu are not available. Last night we were charged different (higher) prices than the menu stated on 3 things we ordered. Staff is constantly apologizing. Consistency hasn't been established yet. We're done until we hear better things. Lots of untapped potential at this point.

Husband and I went for happy hour. Grabbed drinks and a few dishes off the happy hour menu. We loved the bartender Kara! She was so great! Food & drink were good, happy hour prices were a great deal. The restaurant is well decorated and has a nice vibe.

I ordered the Ludlow Burger for take-out, it was hot and ready for me when I arrived. Make sure you add bacon, bleu cheese crumbles, and comeback sauce!!! It was freaking delicious!!! Truffle fries were decadent and perfect w/ the burger. Love this place, it’s always so easy to grab dinner here if you live in the Berry Farms community. Dining in is the way to go if you’re not in a rush. Fun relaxing atmosphere, good vibes, good people, and next level food 👍

Look, I wanted to like this place. I really did. But what I got was a masterclass in incompetence with a burger that tasted like regret. Let’s start with the server. She seemed like she wanted to be there—I’ll give her that—but enthusiasm doesn’t make up for being absolutely terrible at her job. All we ordered were cheeseburgers. Cheeseburgers. Not a 12-course tasting menu. And somehow… she still managed to mess it up. Wrong toppings, wrong sides, and it took forever. At one point I genuinely wondered if she went to go raise the cow herself. Now the food. I’ve had frozen microwave patties that tasted better. Dry, flavorless, and sad. Like someone grilled apathy and slapped it between two stale buns. It was giving school cafeteria at best, and that’s me being generous. Bottom line: if you want bad food served by someone who means well but fumbles hard, this is your spot. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else. Hell, lick a boot—it might have more flavor.

This place is amazing!! We sat at the bar for a date night, food, employees and everything was nothing short of spectacular. Plus their happy hour is just a great bonus. We will definitely be coming back. Kara was our bartender and made the night even better.
