Won't be back. The place was empty on a Saturday night at 7. That should've been our sign not to eat go. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. Lasagna and manicotti were edible, but I think they were previously frozen. Pros: The prices on pasta dishes are reasonable and the cheese on the pasta has good bite to it. Cons: Fried mozzarella was awful. Definitely a frozen, mass-produced variety. The cannelloni in the pasta sampler wasn't edible - very bad flavor. The bread was old. We don't recommend it.

Ordered calamari, fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and a cheese pizza. The calamari was ok, a bit bland. The fettuccine was also bland. It tasted like it needed butter. It also tasted a bit like raw flour. The pizza was ok as well. The sauce is onbthe savory side. Nothing was made wrong, I just wasn't satisfied with it. The staff was nice and helpful. Due to the pool shop next door, I was greeted with a strong chemical smell. It did go away or I just got use to it.

Real ingredients, real digestion. This is the only (read carefully) THE ONLY pizza whose dough won't ferment in your stomach and make you feel bloated, and you know why? Its ingredients are less processed than any other pizza out there. The New York style pizza is great, its flavor evokes memories of a place in my home country, the tomato sauce is fresh and it's worth ordering a calzon just to have it served as a side. I recommend ordering online, because the place is almost always full (obviously). The prices are reasonable compared to what you put in your mouth!!!

Google
The pizza was pretty good although I think calling it NY style is a stretch. Obviously there are a lot of NY pizzerias serving different styles, but there is still a particular style that owns that name. This isn't that. Still, it wasn't bad so all wasn't lost. Overall, I had a good meal. Service was fine. Order at the counter and they bring your pizza to the table. They don't serve you at your table beyond delivering your food, so everything else is self service. That is perfectly fine though and I didn't need any more help anyway.

Google
Sorry, ate there Friday, highly disappointing. Is this place under new ownership? Pizza, ordered extra cheese, could hardly tell the difference. Italian sub, very skimpy on the meat, and the fried mushrooms, almost all breading. I understand restaurant margins are tight, but, there was a lot to be desired here.

Google
Came here looking for a new pizza place to try in the area. Wow! Luigi's offers so much more than just pizza. The food no matter what you get " pizza, pasta, sub, is phenomenal. The food is very authentic to the new york style of Italian home cooking and the staff are beyond kind. Please do yourself a favor and spend some time here. They offer dine in and take out.

I used to live in Frisco and go here pretty regularly. I moved to Plano and go back every once in a while. Still one of the best pizzas in the area. Pizza is what I always get. Used to get meatballs and sausage on the side sometimes too. But usually just pizza. I ordered it online, double Pepperoni, sausage, and tomato. Was ready for pickup in fifteen minutes. Walked in, I was asked if I was there to pick up an order, gave them my name, then they gave me my pizza. Very simple. The pizza was better than I remember, and I remember it being good. I'm looking forward to moving back to Frisco. Too bad they aren't open until 10pm, so I could get it after work. Thanks for the deliciousness.

Google
We ordered the Giant Cheese Pizza to go and it was fantastic! A delicious NY Style Pizza! We also had tiramisu for dessert which was excellent too. Luigi's is a great place for NY Style Pizza. Dined in December 2023. The pizza was delicious, but the dining room lacked atmosphere. Tables needed bussing, and it just seemed uninviting. Next time, we will get pizza to go.

Yelp
GF pizza is so good!! I am celiac and they have accommodated perfectly and so far I haven't had any issues!

Elizabeth E.

Yelp
as long time customer can say quality always perfect So was sad to see for the Owner while I waited 30 minutes for a large order 2 employees just cut up at the desk instead of cleaning the tables full of trash and dishes neither one moved to clean in 30 minutes and nothing else to do maybe worth a camera or 2 installed

Imelda S.

Yelp
Food is always delicious and they have huge portions. Great fast service. The calzone is my favorite.

Yelp
I ordered the white pizza and added a few vegetables and it was delicious! Good variety of choices! I absolutely recommend Luigi's pizza!
google avatar

Yelp
A small restaurant that looks family owned. They offer a variety of options, and prices are decent. I ordered the calzone with jalapenos, sausage and pepperoni, and it was a HUGE portion. They don't skimp out on portions here. It was flavored really well, and it was stuffed with ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, sausage and pepperoni. My sister ordered the lasagna which was pretty good. We also ordered the kid portion of the spaghetti and meatballs, and the kid seemed to enjoy it. I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area.

Yelp
Order was wrong But: Pizza was pretty close to NY style pizza including taste Service/delivery was underestimated

Yelp
The best Pizza in Frisco!!! This is our only go to place. From cheese pizza to meat lovers it is a hit at every time at our home ! The Caesar salad is always so fresh and delicious. Jalapeño poppers have become our absolute favorite. All the chicken entrees are so delicious, it's hard to choose a favorite. Thank you for always preparing amazing food, we have never been disappointed !
google avatar

Bryan R.

Yelp
One of the best crusts you can find. We liked the meat lovers - half Alfredo / half red sauce was exactly up our alley. The large is so much food we could not even eat more than a couple pieces, but plenty of leftovers for the kids.

Mark Chovan

Yelp
Family owned with years of experience and great Italian food. We've been customers for years
google avatar

Fred D.

Yelp
Have eaten here 3-4 times. Not the best pizza but not the worst either. This past visit there were so few topping on our pizza it was comical. We should of just ordered a cheese pizza. We stressed at least 3 times to please make pizza crispy. Its was not. Will we go back? Probably, nobody is perfect we did not get sick so thank you Luigis.

Yelp
This location offers up East Coast style pizza in the DFW area. This is one of the few restaurants in the area where I can hands down say their pizza is good. The crust is thin, yet foldable. The cheese has the right amount of saltiness flavor and stretch when biting into. Reasonable priced and happy they are located in Frisco.

Yelp
This is a great place to pick up a delicious weekend New York style pizza. Despite the various rave reviews, they shine best with take out. Their attention to dine in customers is limited and lacks because of their high volume take out orders. Our family decided to stop in for a quick dinner about 2 years ago and we seated ourselves. While seated and waiting for a server, we went unnoticed for 20 minutes. We were patient and waited but finally made the decision to leave and dine elsewhere. Unfortunately, we haven't been back since. I'm hoping their attention to all of their customers has improved since our experience.

Yelp
really good crust and cheese. i always order from here for house parties or get-togethers.

Yelp
I just love this place. Their White Wonder pizza is super yummy!! Being lactose intolerant, this is one pizza I don't have to take lactaid pills. Even their pasta meals are super delish!! A definite must visit dive.
google avatar

Tina R.

Yelp
I love pizza and perhaps why I am so critical of anyone that serves it. Zoli's pizza is THE worst pizza I have ever experienced in my life. A 4 year child could have made that pizza better than what we got. There was so much salt on there, no sauce, I will forever remember the first bite I took. I would never ever ever in my life recommend this place to anyone.
google avatar

Juan Hugo A.

Yelp
The Hawaiian pizza in this place is delicious! The service is great you don't have to wait too long for your food! The place looks clean for me! And the seats are comfy and clean.
google avatar

Yelp
Came in to have lunch and was very cold through out my stay. I kept my parka on and still felt cold. Food was nice and hot. I really enjoyed their Caesar salad and pepperoni pizza. It's 38°F out and raining please turn on the heat!
google avatar

Reena G.

Yelp
This appears to be an family own restaurant. You order up front and then pick a table. I ordered the lasagna and a kid's spaghetti and meatballs. My lasagna was really good and came out piping hot. My little enjoyed her spaghetti but it only came with one meatball. I wish there were a few more but she enjoyed it and ate over half her meal. My sister ordered Calzone and it was huge. It was tasty. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Hole in the walls are the best. Unfortunately, this statement is not true for Luigi's. Food: Ya girl was craving Baked Ziti, but the grocery stores I shop at were already closed and honestly, I was too hangry & lazy to go grocery shopping, prep, then wait almost an additional hour to eat. I was specifically looking for a hole in the wall, cause most of the time, the food is gauranteed to be fcking bomb. I ordered a baked ziti with spinach, without ricotta. The pasta was undercooked, the sauce was bland and underseasoned, and the cheese was not stringy & gooey. I ended up dumping it into a pan and recooking it myself. Service: My boyfriend picked up the food while I waited in the car, but he said the guy was unwelcoming, wrang up our order and another guy's at the same time, and it just seemed like he was trying to get them out of the restaurant. Even if you guys have 100 more orders to make, don't you want to insure the customers in front of you return in the future?

Yelp
Had the salad Luigi's it was amazing !! Love this place The staff was very accommodating with my request
google avatar

Yelp
They have returned! They were closed for 3 months on vacation. I'm glad they returned! Best pizza
google avatar

Michelle B.

Yelp
Sorry but this place was not good. Got a plain pie, garlic bread, and caesar salad. The pie had next to zero sauce. The garlic bread was a tiny bit of garlic smeared over sub hero bread. The caesar was ok.
google avatar

Bob T.

Yelp
This is a go-to spot for our family that lives in the area and us whenever we visit. Whatever you order, it's going to be large portions of tasty food. We had salads, pizza, pasta, and fresh bread with dipping sauces. All of that was outstanding and not all that expensive. We arrived hungry, left full, and had lots of leftovers for at least another meal (or two).

Yelp
Coming from a true New Yorker, this place is pretty good. Isn't exactly New York street pizza but a lot closer than most pizza places in town. I only wish I had discovered this place earlier. It would have saved me from having a lot of not-so-NY pizza. My kiddos loved the baked ziti and the spaghetti. The hubs really enjoyed the linguine with white clam sauce. I was impressed that they offered white or red sauce (earned the bonus star there, I hardly give out 5 stars) It got pretty busy on even a Sunday evening so definitely go and grab a seat first! We didn't have to wait but a lotta people coming in and out to put in their takeout orders. We got a pizza with mushroom (our litmus test) and it did not disappoint. I just wish the crust was just a little more crunchy so when you lift a piece the tip doesn't flop. Taste however was on point. We'll be back for sure. We're hooked!

Yelp
I want to give a special shout-out on this #ThankYouThursday night to the best pizza joint in Frisco! Luigis has been around since I moved to Frisco 16+ years ago. We have always been loyal customers simply because we love their pizza, pastas, subs, salads and their quality ingredients. There's a reason the people of Frisco keep supporting this local restaurant: best pizza in Frisco! #period. They are so cool that now you can get their amazing food through Favor delivered right to your door without risking getting sick with this virus. The cheese and pepperoni pizza is our favorite. The thin crispy NY crust is perfect. The ingredients compliment each other without one over powering the other. You can eat this pizza the next day for breakfast!! Ahhhh!! Delish! Finally Frisco peeps, please continue to support our local pizza place by picking up or getting it delivered to your home. Its gotta be one of the best reasons not to cook tonight! Enjoy! #ThankYouThursday Luigi's Pizza!

Yelp
All I can say is wow... outer crust is flaky and crunchy, bottom has that flour dusting, and the pizza toppings are above par. We got the white pie (ricotta and mozzarella only) and they combined with the meatlovers no extra charge which is awesome. First time here, and if the rest of their menu is even half as good as this pizza, I will be coming back.. so yes, I'll be coming back! Highly recommend!
google avatar

David A.

Yelp
As a native New Yorker, this has been the closest thing I can find in DFW. Always quick and friendly service and the pizza is great
google avatar

Jennifer K.

Yelp
We ordered takeout from here. Basic NY style pizza. It hit the spot but wasn't particularly memorable. Our order was ready quickly. Got the garlic bread too and it looked like the loaves you buy in the freezer aisle. Maybe skip that. Regardless, good pizza.
google avatar

Caron C.

Yelp
Been picking up their pizza for the last couple of years. Closest thing to real NY street pizza you'll find here.
google avatar

Khoury R.

Yelp
On our quest to eat local during the pandemic, we stumbled upon Luigi's. Surprisingly, we didn't get pizza, but got pasta instead. I tried the lasagna and Husbae had the chicken mimosa. The portions were very filling and we took home enough food for dinner. We loved the service and the food. We'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Brian S.

Yelp
Feeling like Italian? This could be your place. Now we ate there and got pasta and salad, which was really good, but man the pizzas going out the door. I bet 25-30 pizzas left while we were eating. Everyone was really friendly. Needless to say we will be back to try the pizza. Definitely worth stopping by and grabbing a bite.
google avatar

monica c.

Yelp
We have been here quite a few times, both for eat in and take out. The portions are good and the food is hearty and homey. I love the lasagna and the baked raviolis. Those are my go to. The pizza is good. I personal prefer an Mew York style but it's is good. My son said the calzone is the best he's ever had. It's quite a good size and made from scratch. The cheesecake and tiramisu are fabulous!! It's a little hole in the wall. But we do love it and the device is very friendly.
google avatar

Tracey M.

Yelp
The pizza was fresh and the slices are LARGE! They have a great lunch special. It was MORE than enough food.
google avatar

Schias A.

Yelp
Our new favorite local New York-style pizza spot! We ordered a large with pepperoni, Italian sausage and mushrooms. Every aspect of this pizza was spot on. All of the ingredients were super fresh and the pizza sauce was absolutely delicious. Even the crust was the perfect consistency and flavor. Best pizza we have had outside of NYC!
google avatar

Jackie S.

Yelp
I ordered fettuccine and it tasted mostly like flour cream based and the margarita pizza was terrible. Very disappointed
google avatar

Mike G.

Yelp
Jonesing for some pizza, so we went to our old stomping grounds. It's not cheap...almost $75 for two medium pizzas, a calzone, a fettuccine Alfredo, side salad, and drinks. Ok, at least we got a lot of food, and had some left over. The Caesar salad was ok, but a little sweet. We divided it up and ate it before I could take a pic. Sorry about that. Ever seen a Caesar salad before? Ok, think about it now, and that's pretty much what we had...except this one was a little sweeter than whatever you're imagining. The pizzas hit the spot. The white was especially popular, and my meat lovers hit the spot. Both kids loved their entrees as well, although a lot cake home, so we'll see if they get reheated and eaten as leftovers. That'll be the true test. We wouldn't hesitate to come back. Closed on Mondays so find someplace else to get your pizza on if it's that day.
google avatar

Alma K.

Yelp
The pizza in this place is the closest tasting one compared to an actual New York pizza. Their calzone is humongous and good tasting. I recommend this place for pizza cravings.
google avatar

Gena W.

Yelp
I don't usually order pizza because I typically avoid dairy (and I can't have gluten) but I've had many pizzas in my life before I had to be gluten free. I ordered two - one regular pepperoni for my mom, and one gluten free pepperoni for me. They were not labeled so I had to call the store to make sure I ate the right pizza. They also were a little undercooked so we continued cooking them in our oven. They were ok but nothing special. I probably wouldn't go back again with so many other options.
google avatar

Mike B.

Yelp
Not because I got 2 free beers while waiting. (Only on a walk in and wait). The pizza was really good and the garlic cheese bread was too. The bread was a nice combo of garlic and cheese just slightly browned. The pizza was very tasty. I like mine a little more well done, but it was delicious. Plenty of toppings cheese and sauce. With quality toppings. I've had better outside of Texas, but this is a must have!

Jim M.

Yelp
First of all I will say I did not try their pizza. This is not about that. I did try their baked menu items and they are terrible. One item is so bad we just tossed it rather than eating it. Stromboli and other menu items were just cheese melted in a pastry, nothing else. The lasagna is not eatable.
google avatar

Karl G.

Yelp
This is all opinion: With the pandemic going on there are a few restaurants that stand out and this is one of them. Fast Service, great food, and friendly. I am surprised with other Italian restaurants right now. This one seems to deliver great food without the hype. The Lasagna was terrific simple and a great value. At lunch it was under $10 and came out hot as can be with some fresh bread.

Tim K.

Yelp
This place has gone downhill. Our family walked in at 8:25pm on Saturday 8/5/23. They close at 9:00pm. We were first told we could only order to-go starting at 8:30pm. This is new! They decided to allow us to eat inside. The appetizers were great. My Stromboli was burnt on the bottom. They started putting chairs onto tables at 8:40. We felt like we were in a cage. A lady walked in to order something at 8:53pm only to be told they have already cleaned the grill and can't cook that for her! How about serving your clients until you close or post some signs that you can't order food after a certain time because it appears your time of closing doesn't mean a stinking thing! Way too many options for crappy service and burnt food! Can't wait for Hideaway pizza to open just down the street! Luigi's will not make it much longer in this market with this type of service!
google avatar

Robin H.

Yelp
Yummy pizza. Thin crust. Friendly staff. Quick even on a Sunday night. If there was beer and wine it would be 5 stars and perfect.
google avatar

Chad J.

Yelp
Disclaimer: Five stars based on the dough, I have never eaten at the restaurant. I do a lot of pizza on my Big Green Egg at home, I got tired of the time it takes to make dough at home. I called probably 5 pizza places to see if I could buy Raw dough and they all said no, for reason varying from "it's illegal" to sell raw dough ( I guess Kroger better lawyer up) to its against company policy and everything in between! I almost gave up, but found this place on yelp with good reviews and gave it one last shot. When the nice person on the phone answered I asked if they sell raw pizza dough she said "of course, what size and how many do you need"! I was amazed, it's not "illegal" or anything and she said no we sell lots of our dough because we make it fresh and it's really popular. Fast forward 3 months, I have used their dough for family pizza night at home now 5 times and it's the best! Any "at home pizza" makers take note, this is the place to get your dough!
google avatar

Luisa F.

Yelp
BEST lasagna in the DFW and the girls are super sweet! My husband loved the pizza so much as well.
google avatar

Guy H.

Yelp
The pizza is solid. So if you are in the area don't hesitate to stop in. Thin crust, not too much sauce and generous toppings. We had the fried zucchini which was unaccceptable. When you bit into it the outer coating fell off and you were left with an over done crust of a shell and soggy zucchini in your mouth. We got a smallmeat lovers which was a nice size. Probably a medium anywhere else. I didn't like the ham or Canadian bacon whichever it was. Kind of watery and didn't brown in the oven. I think I would stick to a sausage and pepperoni next time and be happy. It's a long drive from my house but I think with a few adjustments this could be a great pizza place.
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
Just a good, solid, local place! Food is always good, not going to say mind blowing, but just darn good! And, for the price, exceptional! Service is always friendly! This is a Frisco staple for a reason, they just get it done and get it done right every time! One of my go to places!

Rachel B.

Yelp
Finally--an amazing calzone! Stuffed to the brim with ricotta, mozz, and all the toppings. I asked for extra marinara & I received a large cup full. Thank you so, so much for the delicious meal & excellent customer service!

Olivia R.

Yelp
Read the reviews and tried - by far best I've had in like forever. Awesome. I'm from NY and have been craving great pizza. Love this place!
