Luisa's Italian Pizzeria

Order delivery the other night after arriving from the West Coast. The people from the Fairfield Inn recommended this place highly. Their meatballs have a great flavor and come in their homemade Italian sauce. They're steak and cheese was amazing! Overloaded with steak and the cheese is essentially infused been with the steak so it's all one in the sandwich. The people are very nice. The delivery guy didn't want to disturb me by knocking on the door so he called to let me know the food was there. I did pick up the next day and the gentleman at the counter was just as nice end accommodating.

I ordered online and I did not get the 20% first time online order discount. My email needed to be verified and I requested verification 📨 emails multiple times. I never received them so I had to pay full price. I ordered an extra large cheese 🍕 pizza for everyone. Everyone liked it! I thought 🤔 it was a little soggy but I liked the taste of the sauce 🫙. I am not a fan of pizza anymore but I liked it. WiFi, indoor dining and delivery available. Friendly service. The bathroom was in good shape. The dining area was spacious and had a huge flat screen. We would come here again. They have specials and if I am in the area again, I will stop by.

About average appearance, performance, and flavor, but $1.99 for a slice and a soda is pretty awesome... the UGLI sticks were pretty good too... a heavier doughy breadstick... I don't think they pronounced UGLY sticks, but thats what I called em and the employee laughed... pizza tasted good cold, too.

This is my first time there since they've been bought out and changed their menu. I don't say this lightly, but this is absolutely the worse food I have ever had in my life. My son and I got the spaghetti and meatballs thinking it was like the way they use to make it. Instead it was some baked pasta with way too much cheese, horrible dried out meatballs that tasted horrendous, and the sauce, I can't even explain just how bad the sauce was. It had some weird before and after taste that words just can't describe it. It was like you could actually taste it while breathing in and the after taste just lingered. I took 3 bites and that was all I could handle. My fiance tries it because she didn't believe. The look on her face after one bite said it all. The service was OK even though when 9ne of the kids asked for a side the guy made it seem like it didn't come with that side and we'd have to do a substitution even though the menu clearly said what the optional sides were. The atmosphere was the most sterile look I've seen in a restaurant. It use to be a nice friendly atmosphere but now everything is just painted bright white. Felt like being in a hospital room, but even less comfortable.

We got a pizza, a grilled veggie wrap, and the Mac and cheese. The wrap was reportedly the best wrap she's had, it didn't even need any sauce (she asked for sauce on the side). The Mac and cheese was ok, I've had worse, and I've had better. The pizza is the reason for the single star review. We landed on Luisa's because I was looking for a new pizza place, and I picked Luisa's because of the images of the pizzas. What I was hoping for was local fresh dough pizza, what I got was a cookie-cutter House Of Pizza pizza. If pizza from House Of Pizza is the kind of pizza you enjoy, then you will be perfectly happy with Luisa's pizza. It's not the pizza I prefer, and it's not the pizza I thought I was getting when I ordered it.

I used to love getting food here, I got spaghetti for my daughter and they didn’t give a lot like they usually do and there wasn’t this silver thing in the spaghetti. It wasn’t a staple or from the container it was placed on. It looked like a piece from those Brillo pads or something. I won’t be getting food from there anymore.

Each item I've gotten from pasta dishes to pizza and wings are amazing. The sauce is spectacular. The staff are extremely friendly . Such a positive establishment as well as professional and clean!

I'm glad to have found this place. I tried the "Porky Pig" calzone. The picture is the review. Simply, well made and cooked. I can tell that the ingredients are fresh. Straight forward delicious. This is the small one; called the Calzette. You won't be hungry after eating this. My wife and I will be coming back. They've set the initial visit in a strong way. You won't regret eating the food from here. The store is also very clean. This shows respect and dignity for themselves. Their food is clearly made with love. Give them a call and place your order. This will eliminate ordering mistakes that occur while using a delivery app. Be well everyone!

Finally a great place to get a calzone! We tried their chicken parm calzone which was packed with white chicken cutlets, sauce and ricotta cheese, they also gave a small container of extra sauce if needed! We also tried their bacon cheese fries that were also very good , they are well covered with cheese sauce and crumbled bacon that was pretty much covered throughout the fries!

Met the owner and he was very nice. The food was good and there was plenty. We haven't visited the establishment yet but their menu is extensive, they have a little bit of everything.

Extra Large Pizza and Wednesday Pasta Special They have a very good heaand the pizza and food is excellent.

Food: I got delivery. I tried a ranchero calzone, fried dough bites, and a cannoli. The calzone tasted almost entirely like ranch. While that should be a flavor, it should not be the only flavor. The chicken was completely tasteless. The cannoli was bland but ok. The dough bites are terrible. They were cooked in old oil that was not hot enough. They were soggy with grease. The old oil smell and taste were so strong that it was closer to movie theater butter than anything else. The bites also seemed a bit raw in the middle but that might just be because they were incredibly dense due to the oil they absorbed.

Ordered for delivery and did not receive what I ordered. Tried to call, no answer and the voicemail was full and I could not leave a message to request it be remedied. I ordered a chef salad and a Greek salad. ended up with 2 Greek salads. I will be calling back tomorrow and requesting my chef salad be delivered. The wife gets 2 Greek salads tonight.

I'm re-reviewing after our last experience which was WAY better than the previous. Understood that there is a learning curve when a business goes through new management and it feels as if this restaurant may have broke free of theirs. Improvement: Phone demeanor of whomever answered was far more polite and civil than the former unhappy to be getting business order entry person. HE was unbelievably rude. This time SHE was a pleasure to speak with and clearly knowledgeable of what she was doing. Food was delivered politely, within stated time specified and hot. Much improved Louisa's. THANK YOU!

This used to be my favorite pizza place. I don't know what happened. I heard that they changed management. It has gone way down hill. I ordered a salad with chicken and the house dressing. The spices that they used in the chicken wasn't very good and the house dressing was very salty. I won't go there again.

We had not ordered from Luisa's in quite some time, since the pizza has been hit or miss. We ordered this past weekend, and it was awful! So greasy that I had a stomach ache for days. Also, I ordered for a specific time delivery and it arrived half an hour early. Luckily we were home...but obviously they didn't look at the requested time. I don't think we will be making that mistake again!

This place has really gone down hill and I'm officially done with them now. Placed an order at 5pm was told will be 30 minutes. Wife got there after 45 minutes and the order wasn't even started yet. Took an additional 20 minutes. Lady said look at all the order tickets . Never again..

I swore I wouldn't return but I did.....Apparently there are 'new owners' AGAIN, They have had more owners than spinal tap has drummers. Same 35 year old interior has been cleaned a bit better than my last visit. Small Steak and cheese, $16.00 even though the menu says $9.49...zero patrons in the shop, 43 minutes to get my sandwich. Two folks who called in take out orders both showed up and waited 15 minutes plus for their orders. During my wait I watched them prepare 4 lunch orders, 45 minutes ! How can they possibly make any money? So $18.50 for a very small sub and a coke.....hopefully I'll make better choices next time. I suggest skipping this place.

Here lately, it is obvious that the counter person does not want to be there. Roman was here this evening. I phoned in a order; Toasted hot Italian sandwich. Got home and opened a cold sandwich. Not even toasted. I could have made a cold sandwich at home for a lot cheaper. Roman, you repeated the order over the phone and at the cash register. Someone needs to be responsible for quality control. Surely, Roman isn't the shift manager; I would hope that they would care.

Ok. So last time not so good. This time. PERFECT. The godmother calzone was so delicious we had some extra sauce got it it had a nice amount of meatballs and also sausage in it. The price was right the delivery was on time it was piping hot just like the old Luisa as we knew in Bedford I'll be back soon I won't wait as long as last time now that I know the quality is back up we're belongs

Damn. We really used to like this place. When we were in that part of Manchester we would order either Luisa's or Puritan and jump on 93N and head home. The last few times we've ordered, the calzones were not what they used to be. Today I ordered and spoke to someone who couldn't understand me very well and who I couldn't understand very well. It was a difficult conversation. Got to our house in Concord and could only eat maybe 1/2 of the calzone. It was loaded with cheese and it was very greasy. And the taste was just "okay". Not really sure we will be back.

Just got home from Luisa's on Hooksett Road. First time dining there. Calzone STUFFED with Spinach, artichokes, cheese, onions, black olives. BEST I HAVE EVER HAD! it also was Huge! My girlfriend and I split it and there was enough for 1 more! Great crust, fresh vegetables and absolutely DELICIOUS! Salads were crisp and fresh, Service was EXCELLENT, polite, friendly and attentive. Prices- Good I'll be going back!

People - 10/10 Food - 10/10 Drinks - na Decor - 8/10 Restrooms - (didn't use) My friend were in the area and wanted to try a new spot so we stumbled upon this place. Without looking at other reviews and only the menu online we decided to go in a grab a quick bite. We ended up splitting a chicken calzone (the picture I'll include is my half, the other half my friend had). As you can see in the picture it was a good portion. And we both agreed that it was delicious! We could not find any issues. The staff was really friendly, the location is nice, and the food (at least the one we had) was amazing. Will definitely be returning!

They are under new ownership and I ask everyone to give them a try as the new owner builds the business. Long story short I rediscovered Luisas when my wife was trying to find the only calzone she liked when she was growing up in Manchester. I found Louisas on Yelp, and contrary to the reviews I gave it a try. The calzone was spot on, and we are hooked on that. The story gets more complex and rewarding. We are guardians for my 12 year old autistic grandson .....he has an eating disorder that currently limits his menu choices to 2 items....one of those was Ceasarios fries...When they burned down we were devastated because because we could not find a substitute he would accept......until we found Luisas ...To our surprise he loves their fries. I think they are great too...The new owner and staff have been so kind and helpful. A couple of side notes to close. We also enjoyed their pizza and a side of meatballs. lastly..the owner is a kind and welcoming man who really has his heart and sole in building the business. He wants his customers' feedback, so please give this business a chance. If you go in, ask for Yudin and tell him David sent you. He will likely give you a welcoming smile and handshake. Remember that most, if not all , the reviews in Yelp were prior to Yudin taking over.

Zippy meatball calzone is excellent! Must try! Spaghetti and meatballs is very good as well.

Used to visit regularly when they were on west side and Bedford, many moons ago. This is second time to visit their dw highway spot. The calzones still rock, cheesy, crunchy but soft crust, nice sauce. A little greasy, but Worth the trip just for this. Rest of food was okish. Lasagna had a great sauce but taste of cheese was a little different for me. Onion rings while tasty, were nothing special. Also had their garlic sticks and an order of fried dough bites. Both could have used a little more seasoning.

I have been ordering from this place for the last three years. I used to rave about their steak and cheese and like their pizza. I have no idea what happened but this last steak and cheese was absolute garbage! The shaved steak tasted like it was the cheapest of the cheap, there was hardly anything in the sub, the veggies weren't grilled and it tasted horrible. I also ordered onion rings, and which used to be think frozen premade ones which I actually like. These were disgusting. I don't know what happened but $16 for this sub was absolutely atrocious. I will not be ordering from here again, so sad to see a good place go to waste.

Do your self a favor and just take the Caesar Salad off the menu if your just gonna use the same ICEBERG lettuce you use for the subs. What a waste of 12 bucks. Order chicken parm and the sauce was cold. This place is not worth coming back to.

Ive gotten takeout/delivery from Luisa's at least 8 times in the past 6 months and have never been disappointed. They're Manchesters hidden gem for pizza/subs/calzones/value.

___Submarine Sandwich Review___ The Good: -If you order a sub with everything, they will stuff the sandwich until it is hemorrhaging fillings. Merry -Luisa's is cheaper than their competitors up and down the road. -They are also open longer and on Sunday. The Bad: -Still not quite as good as other subs in the area. -Bread isn't moist/chewy. Bummer. The Bottom Line: No doubt, you'll get more bang for your buck at Luisa's. Still, I'd rather spend a few extra dollars elsewhere unless my usual spots are closed.

Fed our boys lacrosse team following a game at Trinity with pizzas. Many comments from team members mentioned that this was the best pizza they have ever had. Driver was on-time and courteous.

I like the pizza here. I ordered one tonight and really enjoyed it. Sausage and pineapple and onion - can't go wrong!

Wanted to order local on Grubhub, put in an order, said it would be here about 30-45 minutes, waited another 30 minutes and no food. Called them three times being put on hold for more than 5 minutes each time. When finally talked to someone, they told me the food was on its way. Waited another 20 minutes, and still no food. Called to cancel order. Very rude. Will never order from them again!

I normally am a big fan of any Italian restaurant. As far as the establishment itself, not bad. Clean tables and chairs with a modest TV to entertain children. They have a fast food style fountain soda drinks - serve yourself. This wouldn't be a bad place to pick up your kids some chicken fingers or a sub. As far as dinner entrees - very underwhelming. I ordered chicken parmigiana and was severed chicken fingers with melted provolone cheese, store bought red sauce and ziti. In their defense - the chicken fingers are good! Just not what I expected. Also there was some confusion with chicken fingers and wings with my order. It seems like the staff is a little lackadaisical. Bathrooms weren't the cleanest. Under the seat was yellow tinged with hair around the seat. That's an easy fix though, just delegate cleaning the bathroom once a shift to a staff member. The staff was very friendly and I don't blame them for the lack of management. Of course I would give this restaurant another chance!

The pizza from here is THE BEST! My favorite is the steak bomb!! So many options to choose from and all the time and attention put into the food made there is on point! I also love the baked goods that are made by local bakers, especially the Chocolate Peanut Butter bars made by Now Let's Get Baked and Pastry!!

This restaurant has been one of our favorites for about a year. Delicious food, great options, fantastic staff always eager to please/accommodate special requests. My daughter has vegan preferences, and staff is always willing to accommodate our requests. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a great meal, prepared quickly and professionally, and delivered with a smile.. We love Luisa's's! Diane B

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! I got the steak tip salad and it was the best steak tips I've ever had. Although the salad itself was dull..We also got a steak bomb, and that was really good for shaved steak!! Very good pizza also!

My family absolutely loves this place! We have ordered from there for parties and family dinners and have never been disappointed. Our younger kids love the chicken tenders and our older kids love the subs and specialty pizzas. Highly recommend this establishment!

My family has been a long-time customer. One of my favorite pizza places in Manchester. We choose to dine in most of the time. We went this week for some pizza. We noticed many changes inside - new menu board, now serving beer. After placing our order, we started to notice how dirty the restaurant was. Table has not been cleaned/wiped down, seats covered with crumbs, trash on the floor, no soap in restrooms, used dish tray half full of dirty dishes (maybe from hours earlier)...and the sad thing is that there were no other customers in the restaurant. They were not busy. Food was ok, pizza grease soaked through the cheap paper plates in 5 seconds. Could tell if I was cutting pizza dough or paper plate. Time to step up your game Luisa's if you plan to be around much longer - you have lost our business!

Did the owners change? Did the recipe change? Either way...we had the worst pizza last night. Cheese pizza was soggy, floppy and the sauce tasted like something from a jar and the cheese.... no idea what that was, it all fell off. We've been Luisas customers since the 80's when they opened. It will be a long time before we try again.

Ordered food on Grubhub....placed my order at 5:35 and at 5:36 the app said that it was being prepared and would be ready between 5:55pm-6:05pm. So I showed up at 6:30 (yeah, was running just a bit late) and the guy at the counter was super confused. So he goes out back to look for my order and comes back and says it's not there and there's no order in their system. I'm like "okayyy why don't I just show you my email"....so I bring up my order and literally show him that my credit card was charged. He goes out back again, and what do you know?? He miraculously finds the slip for my calzone...that NO ONE HAS EVEN MADE YET....unreal. Says it will be around five minutes. That was 15 minutes ago. No apologies or anything. I used to love this place but won't ever be back. Get your shh*t together Luisa's.

Ordered via Door Dash and I have to say I was very impressed. The mozzarella sticks were amazing and the meat lovers pizza was so delicious. Plenty of toppings and the crust was so good. I will definitely order again.

The food and service at this place is not what it use to be. Ugli sticks are bland. I ordered ahead of time. Got a text that my order was ready. It was not ready and had to wait another 10 minutes. Very disorganized and hectic.

Rude employees/barely answer phone I used to be a regular. Some employees are nice that's why I stayed but in the end I didn't always get the result I come here for.... PIZZA

I've been ordering from here for a long time but for some reason possibly a new chef my last three orders have been bad. I hate to say it but I could always count on consistency and it's gone. My pasta had a huge long hair in it yesterday. I can look past that accidents happen. About a month ago I ordered an eggplant calzone. It was so greasy and undercooked I threw it away. What happened to the calzones?? They were the best around. Pasta was cooked well but no seasoning at all. And the pizza is different every time. I'm sorry but something went wrong somewhere sad I really liked this place

This place was always our go-to for pizza delivery but since the change in ownership it's terrible. The girl answering the phone has no clue what she's doing (she's been saying "sorry, I'm new" for a few weeks at least.) Expect a min 5 min wait on hold and then another 10 to place your order. We got a $5 delivery charge once (we live 1 mile away) that she said was removed from the total and then charged it anyway. The pizza is SO GREASY that it's soggy, not sure what changed to make it like that but it literally sits in a puddle and drips everywhere. We gave it a bunch of chances but after the repeated frustration of ordering and SO MUCH GREASE we are moving on..

I've been eating at Luisa's since the 90's. But when I was there last week, i ordered,I paid, I waited, and they brought me something I didn't order. When I told the lady that brought me my food that it was wrong, she said "we are really busy so we can't fix your order". Then she went back behind the register as if it never happened. She didn't tell the cook, didn't take my wrong order back, and didn't bring me what I ordered. I was so shocked that I ended up leaving the food untouched on the table, didn't clean up my kids pizza mess, and just left. I will never go back, and will spread the word around. Lately the prices have gone up, while portions have shrank anyway. No more bread sticks with orders of pasta, no more mamas or godfathers. No more awesome calzones. I'll be surprised if this restaurant is around in a year. Did management or owners change recently? Even the dining room is dirty, and the bathrooms are disgusting. Never again!!!

Disgusting! Our pizza was loaded with grease and absolutely fell apart. Burnt crust, sauce INSIDE the overcooked meatball calzone. Order here if you want to get sick or eat nasty food. Never ever going back.

8/7/19 Luisa's is typically top notch for pizza and calzones however today I placed an order for a calzette. Was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Waited over a half hour for my food and they gave me the wrong order stating they changed it to a calzone because I waited so long. There is no way they whipped up a calzone in five or ten minutes. They clearly gave me the wrong order and it was horrible. Watery and runny spinach with tomato sauce. When I called to tell them of the error, the manager could be heard in the back ground yelling at staff and swearing. They offered to reimburse me or make a new one which I could not return to get on my lunch hour so I took the reimbursement. That also cause and issue and could hear yelling so declined both offers. Bad day there I guess! Cashier was nice and polite.

I ate here for the first time yesterday. I ordered chicken parm with ziti.. the food was good. Came out hot. I'm only giving 3 stars because I waited over a half hour for my food. The woman that checked on me was very nice.

Love their pesto pizza...but tried to get it delivered on a Saturday night at 7:30pm and was told they are done delivering for the day. Would like to see delivery hours posted somewhere.. but worth the ride to go get it.

Dine in... waited 45 minutes for a pizza that was so salty it was inedible. Apparently, there was no adult in charge this evening so after speaking to to register person and the cook and being told they could not refund our money because we had eaten part of a slice , someone finally called the manager and we were supposedly refunded our money (debit card) but they were unable to provide a printed receipt. VERY disappointing.

Just ordered food from here and I have to say I'm disappointed to say the least. The food is mediocre and the amount was very small for the price. This is the first and last time I will order from this so called restaurant. Would not recommend.

Love the mini pizzas, especially pesto. Greek salad with chicken is another favorite. Friendly service. Comfortable environment.

I found myself in Luisa's because I needed a quick meal before a movie and did not want fast food. I had been in before and knew the set up (you order your food at the counter). Ordering pasta at a counter can be a risky venture. However, many sit down restaurants get pasta wrong; therefore, I decided to give Luisa's a shot. I ordered the ziti with sausage and peppers. The pasta, while obviously reheated, wasn't bad and they did get the sauce correct (not too sweet ) and the peppers were nicely done. The bread sticks, made from pizza dough it appeared, were good. Noticing that they utilize those dreadful conveyer pizza belt contraptions, I wouldn't order pizza here; however, I would be interested in ordering other menu items. I'm a little concerned about the chicken after reading one reviewer's comment that they are using frozen and pre-charred chicken (an awful idea). In the end, it was better than fast food and as a person that could eat pasta with red sauce every single day of his life, I wasn't disappointed.
