"Spread over three floors, chef Madame Binh's venture in Hanoi opened its doors in 2018. It serves a similar menu to its sister establishment in Da Nang, but with a bigger selection plus seasonal offerings. The chef excels in imbuing traditional Vietnamese fare with unique character. Try her Sapa's pork belly dipped in herbal sauce, grilled to perfection and served with mắc mật leaves that cut through the richness and enliven the flavours." - Michelin Inspector

If you’re looking for a nice spot for a luncheon with a group of friends, this place is perfect! We walked in as a group of ten and were pleasantly surprised to be seated in a private room with a humongous Chinese-style round table — super ideal for sharing dishes. We ordered almost everything on the menu, and my personal favorite was the Chef’s Recommendation: Gà Nướng Tú Lệ. The chargrilled chicken paired with whole-grain sticky rice was absolutely delicious — smoky, tender, and well-balanced. Great food, great setup for groups. Highly recommended!

We were returning from the city and walked closer to the hotel, looking for a Michelin-starred restaurant without a reservation, right now. We asked for a table for two because we saw the restaurant was almost empty. The guy at the entrance turned us away, saying the restaurant was fully booked. We had to go back to the hotel, and our room reception called and made a reservation for us in Vietnamese. Fifteen minutes later, we were back at the restaurant entrance and got a table without any problems in the half-empty restaurant on the second floor. That evening, several tables remained empty all evening, so we were simply turned away as foreigners. The myth of hospitality we'd experienced elsewhere in the country was somewhat dispelled. The food was wonderful, and the service was good.

The google review is accurate. The Michelin recommendation does not match. The service was good but a tad of the slow side. We were served everything at once so our table was too full. The drinks were served after most of the food. Then we had to wait ages for our bill. As for the food, some things were exceptional and other things were not that great. We got the veg and meat summer roles, morning glory, aubergine, lotus rice, salad, and stuffed duck. Most things were good. We paid a little more than it felt like it was worth

It’s not that the food was bad, it was actually decent, but in Hanoi, the real charm lies in the street food scene, not in sit-down restaurants. Eating here felt a bit too polished, missing that lively street buzz that makes the city’s food so special. We tried the soft-shell crab summer rolls, the broccoli with scallops, and a crispy duck salad. All three dishes were fine, but nothing particularly memorable. The duck was a bit too chewy, the sauce for the summer rolls lacked flavor, and the scallops didn’t really taste like much. Overall, I’d give it a solid 2.5 out of 5! okay for a quiet dinner, but definitely not a must-try in Hanoi.

Very nice Michelin bib gourmand recommendation! The food was good quality traditional dishes with a modern twist. Clean environment and clean food. Good prices too. We got the nom bo nuong tai cai mam (lime marinated beef salad), escargot soup, ma heo nuong sot mo (pork cheek with apricot), bo nuong ngo non (Vietnamese seasoned steak)

Came here last minute without reservation, the staffs spotted us and usher us to a empty table on the 2nd floor. Food was served quickly after the orders was placed, loved the soup, the grilled pork and the mushroom stuffed with pumpkin. The glutinous rice was very dry, could not finish at all. Overall is a good dining experience to savor authentic Hanoi cuisine!

This was yummy Vietnamese food. Tried a lot of the dishes. The pork belly with plum jam was amazing along with the ground meat on lemon grass shoots. Everything was delicious and the portions were huge. Service was quick and everyone was super friendly and nice. This was an amazing meal and i will definitely be going back to it again if possible to try the remaining dishes on the menu.

Had such a great dinner at Lik Lak! The food was seriously good ... everything we tried was full of flavor and beautifully done. The place has a really nice vibe too, cozy but still classy. We even got to meet the sous-chef, who was super kind and clearly loves her craft. Felt special to be there and totally deserves the Michelin recognition. Vietnam has amazing food!
