Luke's Lobster Brooklyn Bridge Park

It was so delicious and my roll was packed with lobster and flavor. Definitely not stingy. You get what you pay for! Would certainly recommend and I would also go back 10,000 more times this summer.

The shrimp rolls are delicious, but the lobster and crab are ordinary. They may forget your order when there are too many.

Came here early and got to eat here as soon as it opened! Was a perfect way to start the day and the lady advised me as a first timer to try the truffle butter lobster roll and I was amazed! They do give you chips and there is water inside just an fyi! Will be back my next trip in NYC!

Nice little spot under the Brooklyn Bridge. Has limited coffee-shop-esque seating inside. Not the cheapest but meals were tasty. We preferred the (basic) lobster roll over the Snow Crab roll

Just underneath Brooklyn bridge we found Luke’s lobster Roll. Packed with succulent lobster which was covered in a delicious buttery sauce. Simply delicious! Although it should be good for $25.

Delicious in Dumbo! Such an amazing food place in NYC. Would defenitly recommend the warm lobster roll, rather than the (cold) truffle lobster roll because the flavor was more tasty. Service was quick and easy. Thanks guys! Greetings from Germany:)

I must say that there was a male food attendant who was very polite and had a great service attitude, but the food was a rip-off. I can't imagine that such a small lobster hot dog costs $40. The lobster was tasteless, the bread was ordinary, and the seating environment inside the store was like a staff lounge. Good point is they have toilet, but sitting outside seems to be a better choice.

EXCELLENT lobster rolls, great location, but very RUDE and hapless staff! I ordered a lobster roll and a crab roll with my girlfriend for takeout - the first time, everything went smoothly and we were on our way. The lobster roll was so good that I returned for a sampler, but was told rather bluntly that I could not pay with my card because something is wrong with their payment terminal. I was told to withdraw money next door. Due to huge commissions, I did not want to do that, so I asked for another lobster roll instead and asked again if maybe I could pay with my card. This time, the man who took my order looked at the machine and said (rather reluctantly) that I could - very strange… Half an hour goes by and I return to buy a beer, but the same man tells me “sorry we are closing in 15 minutes, I can’t sell you beer”. What gives? There was a couple waiting in line behind me and he seemed to serve them just fine. I suspect that the treatment I got is the result of me not having tipped when ordering the first time. Shame! There is no expectation to tip when ordering takeout. EDIT: thank you Tracy for your reply. I will increase my rating by a star for your handling of the situation! Can’t award more for the food, as it’s already the best lobster roll I have ever had :)) (love the abundant claw meat!)

What an incredible little stand! This place is located under the Brooklyn bridge and was a highlight of my trip! I got the trip and honestly it was one of the most incredible things I had here! If you're thinking about it, this is a great place to try!

So I just got a hot dog here for $5.44. I usually never get food from them, but I was starving so I wanted to try this overpriced hot dog. Hot dog is ok. I've had better. If you want condiments, they won't put it on the hot dog but on the side. The bun is not a regular hot dog bun. It's kind of like a variation of a regular hot dog bun and a slice of grilled white bread. I don't know, but it kind of feels like a tourist trap. Now the service...horrendous. The guy who served me clearly has no idea about hospitality. Extremely disrespectful to customers. I was really shocked and appalled.

This is probably on me for ordering a lobster roll for delivery but it was really not good. I actually ordered the Luke's Trio (lobster, crab, shrimp) and the only one I even remotely liked was shrimp. The seafood didn't taste fresh and the melted butter has hardened and congealed by the time it arrived. I've had Luke's in store before and it was much better, but overall I definitely won't be stopping by again soon. Updated: The business responded that the food is meant to be eaten in the "timely manner". It sounds like the restaurant shouldn't offer delivery if they know the food can't handle sitting long enough to be delivered???

Luke's Lobster in Brooklyn Bridge Park is a nice little food stall with good service. We tried the lobster flight and thought it was great! It comes with three 2-oz servings of lobster rolls. The bread was perfectly buttered and warm and crunchy. I docked one star because the meat was almost ice cold, but we all prefer them warm + the Honey flavor one was a little bland. The other two flavors were pretty good. :)

$25 for a 4 oz lobster roll is way too much. It was also not even that good unfortunately. The bread, caked with butter and a very simple lobster filling w little bits of seasoning just did not work together for me. It's not the worst I've had but not the best either. There is only some shabby outdoor seating and service was just alright, so I don't think I will be coming back here.

We went to Luke's on a recommendation and after trying, I'm glad we went however, these three halves were $27. But the views and the ferry ride back to manhattan make it all worth the experience.

If you like lobster rolls this is the spot! Super chunky pieces of lobster, can be ordered hot or cold. Not too much restaurant seating but if you don't mind sitting on grass, there's a big grassy area right behind and if you go in the late afternoon the grass is all shaded by the Brooklyn Bridge with a perfect view of Manhattan.

Beautiful Saturday afternoon long line and some wait time. Was able to find a table outside so I definitely had a great view of the bridge.Was able to get a table while waiting for my food. Lobster Rolls are delicious and meaty and the kettle chips are so good..

It is hard to pass by the fresh smell of lobster, so I decided to check this place out while in DUMBO. Got the larger size lobster roll (6 oz) with clam chowder. Personally, I prefer having warm/hot lobster roll, so got the butter one that is served hot. Loved the combo of hot clam chowder with the hot lobster roll - DUMBO breeze is a plus. Definitely consider this place when you are nearby!

This review is going to be quick and to the point. If you are in the area right underneath the Brooklyn bridge on the Brooklyn side you must stop if your a fan of lobster rolls at Luke's lobster. Service was great and friendly. And the view of the bridge is the bestseller

Small little lobster roll for way more than I wanted to pay for. The roll had a decent amount of lobster meat, with not too much mayo. Just perfect. Texas toast/roll was toasted just enough and the overall lobster roll was good. I just wish it was bigger

This Luke's Lobster location is right alongside the waterside under the Brooklyn Bridge. It is a relatively small location, with a good flow of customers purchasing lobster rolls - however, there was never a long line. I bought 2 original 4oz lobster rolls, as well as 1 original 6oz lobster roll. Overall, the lobster was extremely tender and tasty, with a good amount of lobster with each order. If you are coming to try out these lobster rolls, be prepared to spend a lot of money. For these 3 lobster rolls, I had paid just over $90 usd. With the amount of lobster, I can say the price is justified, but it is still a lot of money, especially for street food. On a side note, a great experience is to purchase these rolls and sitting on the benches or tables lined alongside the water, as there is a great skyline view of NYC across the water.

It was delicious! We had the clam chowder soup and the warm lobster roll. They had little tables on the side of the restaurant with a great view. The food was good but pricy for $36 for a 6oz lobster roll... I enjoyed it though. Very fresh and delicious.

Lobster bisque is not good and no lobster meat. I ordered a large for $13 an absolute rip off.

The Luke's Lobster is somewhat expensive but they do make super super delicious lobster rolls. They are super generous on the lobster portion. If it says 4 oz it is 4 oz. I ordered the Truffle Butter Lobster roll. Oh wow that was delicious. It came with a bag of chips for $25 ( 4 oz of lobster roll). There are many add-ons options or making it a bigger meal options. I decided to stick with just the lobster roll and the chip. I didn't want to pay extra given that Luke's isn't cheap especially when converting it to Canadian dollar. There are limited seating on site. I managed to find an unoccupied rock to sit on. there are a few benches nearby; however, those benches are not reserved for customer's of Luke's. I definitely recommend trying Luke's Lobster. You will not be disappointed.

Taste like your typical lobster roll. The bread was fresh. Lobster had a good bite and was not mushy. They only had a few tables outside, and most of the chairs were locked up, which didn't allow for very much seating. If I was in the area, I would go back, but I wouldn't make a long trip as you could probably find something similar nearby.

After almost 20 minutes waiting in line, we finally ordered LUKE'S TRIO, a sampler which includes their 2 oz lobster roll, 2 oz crab roll, and 2 oz shrimp roll (normal rolls are 4 to 6 oz). And after another 20 minutes of waiting, we got to try it. At $27 -- that's $9 each or $4.50 per bite -- this was definitely not cheap. But, I was okay with that as this location obviously serves tourists and/or those who are willing to pay more for a sweet location to people-watch. The not-so-okay part was the saltiness of the shrimp (someone give me water quick!) and the stale texture of the bun. Oh well, can't say I didn't try Luke's at Brooklyn, I guess....

We came to Luke's with the cravings of the sea. The menu is comparable to the other locations with a tad increase in prices (location, location, location). My usual $25 lunch was $29. I like how there are multiple sizes for the rolls and add-ons, the customization is always a plus. The staff was friendly and service was quick for my order. My friend on the other hand who ordered directly after me had to wait a while. Everything was fresh, but the clam chowder was saltier with tougher clam pieces than usual. Still salvageable with some added milk/cream, reheated at home. The location is great and easily accessible, and there were a few cute tables to enjoy our lunch, but the mosquitos were on full attack in the day time. We left very quickly after eating, due to being a meal for the aggressive insects. I'll be back with the deep woods Off or Skin so Soft spray.

I love lobster rolls and I loved Luke's Lobster when I used to work in the city. I had decided to pick up some rolls for an after-dinner treat. When we arrived to the tiny shack, there was two people waiting on line and a few people eating in their outdoor area. They had both a QR code and a menu displayed to order. The menu available online had different prices than the one displayed on the counter. I got the three roll (shrimp, lobster, crab) and lobster bisque to go. The cashier was friendly but, at one point when my neighbor wanted to change their chips he spoke sharply. I thought that the rolls were a bit small for the price. Each roll was about the size of my thumb and was devoured in two bites. The bread was a bit stale and did affect the taste of the roll. I felt like the roll itself wasn't very flavorful. The lobster was creamy and was delicious. If you like Hale and Hearty's lobster bisque, you will find this one to be tasty as well. I also like that it included small bits of lobster.

Still the best lobster roll I have eaten. Portions are GENEROUS, roll comes without being drown in mayo, food is flavourful and the view is hard to beat. Always a guaranteed hit.

Excellent lobster roll! This time I had the trio with shrimp,'crab and lobster - amazing. Yes it is expensive, but you are paying for quality. They give you a substantial amount of seafood and the bread is nicely seasoned. If you're in the Brooklyn Bridge Park area, cannot be missed!

Hilariously small portions. The "crab meat" in the trio is really just imitation crab meat or surimi. The lobster? It they could call it that, they'd try to These people are robbing you blind and only benefits due to the location.

Dropped by here for a quick snack before lunch for the sisters. Cute little shake. Ordered a lobster roll. Per sisters it was yummy and not enough to go around . Would definitely dropped by again if in the area.

I'm not that into lobster rolls ... that was until I had these : D They're fresh, buttery and I love the seasoning. The meal specials are awesome. Plus they have lots of covid precautions and outside eating right on Brooklyn Bridge Park. I've never had a problem finding a seat. I honestly almost don't want to review because I'm afraid if I share everyone will crowd the place!

I'll tell you what, as a die hard foodie, for me the best feeling is when I have low expectations for a restaurant and they completely blow me away! Walking by I thought Luke's was a tourist trap because of the "New York's Best Lobster Roll" sign they had out front but I figured I would give it a shot anyway. I am SO GLAD I DID. The Lobster Roll was AMAZING. I also paired it with a bowl of their clam chowder which was on point as well. Arguably the best Lobster roll I've ever had in life though. Must try!!!

My oh my!!! I thought I would be risking my money for an overhyped lobster roll but I've never been more wrong in my life lol. Visiting NYC for the first time, I knew that I HAD TO try this place out because there really isn't a place like this in LA. I first ordered the small size for the Truffle Butter Lobster Roll to try it out and IT WAS TO DIE FOR. ANYWAY, IT WAS SO GOOD AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!! Plus the view of the Brooklyn Bridge and Hudson River was definitely to die for!

One of the best clam chowders I have ever tasted. It was very flavorful and tasty. I highly recommend trying this before you leave. It will keep you wanting more.

I think the lobster rolls at Luke's are one of the best I've had. I really enjoyed it. I also had the lobster Mac and cheese , that was just ok. The size is really small for such a big price. Overall I will definitely visit again. It's on the pricey side but it's so worth it ! Lots of flavor and more importantly it's real seafood !

Expensive, but a substantial amount of lobster. Still, overpriced. $30 for a lobster roll. The lobster is "very" previously cooked. Also served with the meat cold. In my opinion the lobster is a bit old, you can tell from the texture of some of the pieces.

Luke's Lobster's location right next to the Brooklyn Bridge is an excellent place for a buttery lobster roll. I was visiting Brooklyn, after walking across the bridge from Manhattan, and thought I just had to try a roll. It was so buttery and tasty!

I'm such a sucker for seafood. This is kind of like a fast food lobster take out with LARGE CHUNKY pieces of lobster. Located underneath the Brooklyn bridge, this little place offers delicious lobster rolls! I wish I ordered three, but that would seem to beast. There's not much to say about the place itself- literally a small place enough for staff and the kitchen with a tiny dining place in the back and outdoor seating on the side of the tiny building. Menu is simple since it clearly specializes in lobster rolls. Typing up this review is making my mouth water because I can remember just how good those rolls were. The bread itself was slathered in butter (not literally slathered), but enough where it gives the roll flavoring. The pieces of lobster in there felt like I ate an entire lobster and it was definitely very filling where I wasn't overly stuffed but not starving. I would love to come back here during the spring/summer time because the area is such a nice place to walk around. I'd definitely get their combo next time that offers soup on the side. If you're a tourist, come here and get your fix. If you're not a tourist, come here and get your fix.

It's clean and light taste with a good portion of meat! It is pricey when you buy a combo lobster roll, Mac & cheese, drink. Came out to $40 yikes! The Mac and cheese was half the size of panera size. Aside from being overpriced the food was good. Though they should have two people working. It was tough one person taking orders and also cooking. While the line was not long, it was a while wait for the food to be ready.

This was my third stop for a lobster role in NYC and it was great. My first was from the Luke's on the upper east side. Lobster was just as fresh and the roll was the same size. For a little takeaway stand, this is really good.

I had heard a lot of great things about Luke's Lobster, and their lobster roll lived up to the hype! I enjoyed eating it by Brooklyn Bridge, but I don't know if I would pay $24 to experience it again.

Very well seasoned and the bun was buttery and warm. 6oz portion was great. At $35 per lobster roll it was a bit pricey but definitely the best I've had in a while.

A little on the pricier side. A lobster roll and side of clam chowder totaled to $27.50 without tip. I would give the food 8/10. The roll was a little dry.. clam chowder was delicious though! They have hidden indoor seating in the rear which is pretty nice, esp on a cold day.

Looking at the reviews I am doubting my experience. I wanted to like this place.. I wanted to try it out, so I got the 4 oz lobster roll.. Bread is nice, warm, fresh.. Lobster was COLD and not sure if there was any sauce/spread, you can definitely taste the butter. Didn't feel the lobster was fresh enough...

My partner wanted to visit this restaurant so we decided to go , my biggest fear was dining outside but thank god the lady at the window told us that they had a inside that we could eat at away from the cold. We dinner inside and the sandwich was excellent! I think it may be a few dollars too much but I have to keep in mind that it's seafood so I was a bit more relaxed. I enjoyed it! If I were to return tho I would come on a warm summer day.

Luke's NEVER disappoints. 5 star even if they forgot utensils n didn't have a bathroom. For reals. The food is really fresh and flavorful. The truffle oil was super exotic for a picnic in the park with friends and the online ordering was clutch to say the least. The Mac and cheese was worth it. I ordered chips bc I think traditional chips and lobster roll is just perfect on a Sunday afternoon especially when you can use it as a spoon. Now isn't that just the best. My bestie got the crab shrimp lobster roll trio. I didn't get to snag a taste but my other two friends drooled over it like it was Christmas. Great job knocking their socks off one of them hated lobster rolls and two days later she was googling another location. HA!

After so much hype and the price I paid for two rolls I was expecting more. The flavor was alright but nothing special. Would not recommend unless you're a die hard lobster fan who likes cold seafood. There's plenty of places around the area to have more filling, unique flavored and more reasonably priced meal.

Great spot in DUMBO for lobster rolls! Came here a few weeks ago while in the area and wasn't disappointed. Lobster rolls and beers did just fine. We were able to snag a seat on the side while we enjoyed our rolls. My only complaint is that they are on the smaller side but - what can you do?? I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area and definitely worth checking out!

Went here after a walk in Brooklyn Bridge park. This is right next to the end of the park. They are open during COVID with some outdoor seating next to the little store. We ordered two lobster rolls. They come with chips. It wasn't anything amazing for me- just lobster and buttered bread but I think I'm just not a big fan of seafood.

This is my updated review, had this tasty lobster roll and clam chowder soup to go from their store near Madison square park. It was still very good. It was full of chunky lobster and soup was good but a little too thick, I prefer my soup has a lil bit of liquid so I can add my oyster crackers.

AHHHHHH-MAZING lobster trio! My brother and I shared the trio for a quick bite. We were left wanting more! The line is a bit long but it was definitely worth the wait. MUST TRY while in the are!

Amazing Lobster Roll! After walking across the Brooklyn Bridge, we reach over and enjoyed the view around DUMBO. Truly amazing and inspiring view. I was told that there is an amazing lobster roll place that was a must try and it was exactly what we did. The menu was simple and to the point. The rolls: Lobster roll, crab roll and shrimp roll. Since the lobster roll was highly recommended, I got the lobster roll and it was Ah-ma-zing! The pile of lobster on the soft bread roll was delicious and refreshing. One of the best lobster rolls I have ever had. Sauce isn't overpowering or excess, you can taste and see the lobster! The line was long but it was worth the wait. Price is reasonable for what they give and $17 for something fresh and tasty, I would take that any day. Haven't tried the other stuff so can't give ratings on the other items. I would recommend the lobster roll

The best lobster roll in NYC! My favorite Luke's Lobster location. This location is more of a shack near the water, so you can order food and walk over to the pier and eat it outdoors and get some sun. There's nothing like eating some delicious lobster and being closer to nature. Being outside, Walking around the park and and enjoying scenic water views. So relaxing. It's like being on a micro mini vacation. Now on to the yummy stuff. I usually get the Luke's Trio sampler (lobster, shrimp, & crab 1/2 rolls), plus a drink and a side and/or soup. Lobster rolls are stuffed with fresh from Maine, a 1/4 lb of lobster claw, knuckle, and leg meat. A bit of mayo on bun and topped with warm lemon butter and secret seasoning. Just the way I like it. You can really taste the freshness of the sweet lobster meat. Crab roll is pretty tasty too. Very fresh. The shrimp roll is just okay for me. There is nothing wrong with it. It's just not a favorite. Download the Luke's Lobster app. For every five visits spending $10 or more, you will earn a free lobster roll. You will also get a free shrimp roll on your birthday. There is indoor seating area in the back of the shop but you have to enter through the rear door. All of us lobster roll fanatics, need a Luke's Lobster location in Queens!

Decent prices. Quick service. Bland food. We ordered the trio (mini lobster, crab, and shrimp rolls) and the lobster macaroni and cheese. The seafood was fresh, but everything was underwhelming. I've had better in Houston.
