I've eaten at Luke's a few times now (first in D.C) and have come to look forward to it when I visit my partner in Seattle. The restaurant is clean, the service is friendly and the cashiers are helpful when it comes to deciding what you want.
I've tried the seafood roll flight, as well as the lobster roll flight, the classic lobster roll and the lobster bisque. All the seafood is fresh tasting and the rolls are soft and buttery - not too breadyy.
I love that they offer flights that let you sample a variety of things and decide what you like before committing to a $20-$40 sandwich. That being said, I probably would not order the full size truffle or spicy honey roll. There was a *microscopic* dash of truffle that you couldn't even taste. The spicy honey wasn't spicy, and I also I didn't taste any actual honey flavor at all.
Overall my rating is 4.5/5. It's a bit pricey, but that's to be expected with seafood.
The very first time, I went to the Seattle location I asked for cutlery and it wasn't in the bag, so I had to drink my bisque. (This typically wouldn't be a big deal, but it was move-in weekend and we hadn't yet unpacked the dishes.) On my most recent visit, I was specifically asked if I'd like a pickle, and I said yes, but unfortunately, it wasn't in the bag when I got home. And now, reading other reviews, I see that they have a loyalty card. It has not been offered to me during any of my visits.
