Cool retro vibe and decent brunch options for a full meal to include appetizer, entree, and dessert. Good for large parties too as they have plenty of space. The food was hit or miss for me. The Calamari was fried well and had a good bite and was a good way to start. The entree was decent and pretty straightforward. The Strawberry Crepe was a complete miss. I don’t think the strawberry filling was cooked properly and was runny inside and missing a lot of sweetness so ended up being very tart and watery — like a boiled strawberry without sugar essentially. Service was pretty standard and friendly.

Large restaurant with a three course brunch special. Came here with my family and we had made reservations beforehand online. The outdoor patio seating has misters and the overall vibe was casual. I had to tuna tower for a starter, the smoked salmon Benedict, and chocolate crepe. There are many choices and there are some vegetarian friendly choices as well. The food portions were all generous and we left feeling very full. Free public garage parking and exposed parking behind the restaurant available. Credit cards accepted. It is family friendly.

I give this restaurant a 3 star based on customer service, food, and atmosphere. The service was okay, I was there ten minutes before opening waiting to be open. The staff in the front did not look happy to be there. She looked like she was not having a good morning, not giving her an excuse to take it out on others. The waiter was a nice man and took good care of my table. The food, we had pizza which was good and the eggplant pasta that was not all that taste. The atmosphere was nice because it was a early morning there was not a big crowed. I will not go back. They had a big selection on the menu but that was a little overwhelming.

Excellent as always!! We did brunch today and it was very good. Highly recommend! Located in downtown Palm Springs. A very popular place. I had the avocado toast with cherry tomatoes, arugula, and balsamic vinegar. First time having avocado toast and it was excellent! A perfect blend of flavors. I had the chicken pot pie for the main course. It was excellent. Most places use way too much dough and this had very little. Very fresh ingredients. Perfect for when you crave a taste of grandma's home cooking. Highly recommend. I had the strawberry crepe dessert. Very good. My friend had the Chinese Chicken Salad and loved it. The Bloody Mary was very good. Strong. I haven't had a Bloody Mary in years, so I can't compare. The service was excellent. Very attentive, friendly, and courteous. Everything you expect. One of the managers come to our table to check on everything. Excellent!! The atmosphere is awesome here. Love the decor!! It's August and slow season here in PS, so we didn't have any difficulty getting a table, but if you visit in the cooler months, you should make reservations. There's always a wait to get in. The bathrooms are pristine!! Always an excellent sign. You must try this place for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Shocked at how bad the food quality is here... great ambiance, great drinks... so so bad food. Someone posted that it's like Swansons dinners and I couldn't agree more. Looks like a very high end establishment but that IT. Consistently really bad. I had fried chicken which they served me two thighs and two wings... no white meat... very very over cooked and dry. The fried raviolis were overcooked and tasteless. My partner had the meatloaf and while it was not pretty looking, she said it was good. Again the drinks were good too. They need to do better. Would never go back.

Great location for a dinner right on the Main Street of downtown PS, food is good to very good, service and quality is high. Overly I was impressed by the service more. Highly recommended to make reservations in advance. Menu has a wide selection of offerings. I selected the fried chicken meal which was decent. My daughter had wagyu beef burger which she said was tasty. Wife had pasta primavera and was very pleased. Also shared chicken lettuce wrap appetizer. Skip this one.

My husband swears by the chicken piccata. EVERY TIME. But MY personal favorite is the Ahi Tuna Tower. I also LOVE the thin crispiness of the pizza. The buttery cake was beyond, but I was not patient enough to take its picture. You won't be disappointed. Also, one of the best places for happy hour!

Update: August 10, 2024 Another wonderful experience at one of our favorite restaurants in Palm Springs, California. The food was delicious and as always the guest service experience was fantastic. Appetizers - Quinoa stuffed Acorn Squash - Portobello Mushroom Tower Main Dishes - Bone in Pork Chop with Brandy Demi Glaze, rice pilaf, and vegetables - Half Roasted Chicken with mash potatoes, and vegetables Dessert - Lulu's Signature Chocolate Cake - Tiramisu We had an excellent dining experience at Lulu's California Bistro in Palm Springs, California. The food was delicious and flavorful. The service was great. Our waiter was helpful, informative, and outgoing. We did not eat dessert here. We had another place in mind. Appetizer - Portobello Mushroom Tower With spinach, quinoa, Marinara Sauce topped with Mozzarella and drizzled with bazil pesto sauce. Dinner - Braised Shortribs with red wine reduction - Ahi Poke Bowl : With Jasmine Rice, Carrots, cucumbers, avocado, seaweed salad, green onions, and wonton crisp.
