Where To Eat Outside In Palm Springs - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"With a massive, prime spot in downtown, Lulu has been a Palm Springs staple for nearly a decade now, and though you can probably find better food elsewhere in the neighborhood, nobody can deny their patio is excellent. And these days, it’s even larger with six feet in between tables and tons of shade." - brant cox

What a fun experience. We were there off-season but it was still busy with only two waiters for quite a few tables there for lunch. Alfonso improved the overall experience because of his liveliness and great personality. He really made it fun. The food was ok and the french fries were good with a nice presentation. The salad was huge. Overall, a lovely and fun lunch.

Google
Fun, bright, and full of positive vibes! Gilbert was our server and he did such a great job! He made us feel right at home and gave great suggestions. Food was also very good and was a good amount. My friend who used to live in the South got the fried chicken and LOVED it. I got the prime rib and thought it was so good, also way larger of a piece than I thought I was getting. Drinks were smooth and dangerous (in the best way) ended the night with the cotton candy and it was an experience!! Loved every second of it! Also highly recommend if you're gluten free, hostess asked up front if there were dietary restrictions, helped me feel more comfortable with my options.

Lulu’s California Bistro in Palm Springs is a fun, lively spot with a cool, modern atmosphere — perfect for brunch or dinner, especially on a hot day. We went on a Sunday when it was over 100°F, and the outdoor patio had misting sprinklers going, which made it surprisingly comfortable. The food was very good — fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The service was friendly but a bit on the slower side, though that’s understandable given how busy it was. It’s a popular place, so I’d definitely recommend making reservations in advance to avoid a long wait. Overall, a great spot to enjoy good food and people-watch in downtown Palm Springs. Will definitely be back!

Google
Really fun place to grab a meal. The food was good, but nothing amazing. The drinks went down easy, and I would have had another if the server would make a stop at our table. There was a good 15-20 minutes where we didn't see any staff in the restaurant. They did seem short staffed so that may have been the issue. Worth a try and the food was good enough to return. If the service stays at that level, they'll have a hard time getting repeat customers.

Just to start, I am a self proclaimed culinary legend. Food was good. Just good. Not surprising. The pasta portion was dismal, and the appetizer was just ok. The fish and chips and salmon on the other hand were excellent with satisfying portions. I love their decor, and the service was outstanding. I really enjoyed it, I just felt bad for my dad who finished his wartime ration of pasta 10 minutes before the rest of us.

Google
Despite being touristy, everything about this place soars. From quality of food, to service, to ambience. Whether you're inside (preference to the high top booths) or on the patio for people and car watching, it's a great place to be. The food is prepared fresh and tasty with the highest quality. Values on weekend brunch and other prix fair meals are great. Highly recommended for the whole family, regardless of what makes up your family.

Google
So fun & Retro! Large menu! Service was good. My husband and I shared the Meatloaf with Mashed Red Skin Potatoes and Veggies. Was a special, so it came with an Asian Salad. Food was delish! I highly recommend!

Google
Very good restaurant for a quick lunch. Service was very fast and the staff very pleasant. The atmosphere is really nice as well. We had the Wagyu Beef Burger and Linguine Alfredo and Chicken.

Yelp
Nice place for all day happy hour. $30 for a skinny marg, Caesar salad, and a pretty big chicken quesadilla, complete with sour cream and pico. Even had half of the quesadilla to take back to the boo. It's a huge spot, def on brand with the retro Palm Springs ambiance. Service was pretty good, friendly enough. Lots of locals at this spot, which is good.

Yelp
This place was able to accommodate a short notice walk in. We called while sitting in the parking lot because we had kids in the car and didn't want to walk around in HEAT then not get in. The manager was kind enough to get us in immediately and work with us! The vibe inside is so fun, old Palm Springs with old time Hollywood movies playing on the screens. It's so fun. The food was good, drinks are a little on the sweet side and they have a great kids menu! They also have Cotton Candy bowls that are super fun for adults and kids! Would recommend for brunch and fun spot to eat!

Yelp
My family and I woke up this morning and decided on taking the one hour drive from home to Palm Springs for lunch. One word for our salads and my daughter's pizza, AMAZING!!! The salads here are EXCELLENT!! Very fresh, tasty and filling. The pizza was unbelievable! It was well prepared, fresh and soooo tasty. Service from our waiter, Juan Carlos was OUTSTANDING! He was very attentive, easy-going and hard-working. The vibe here is relaxed, and fun. The meal choices listed on the menu is extensive with many delicious choices to satisfy everyone. Prices are very affordable and the portion sizes are huge. This is by far, my favorite restaurant when visiting Palm Springs.

Yelp
I could have sworn I wrote another review for this place but I guess not. My bf and I came here after his show for some dinner. We had pizza the last time we came here so we decided to get it again. He got the pepperoni and I got the sausage and mushroom. My pizza had a bit too much cheese but it was still very good. I ended up taking some off and it was still very tasty. My bf and I both finished our pizzas because they were so good. Our friends also joined us and they shared the ahí tuna stack which also looked very good! Our server was super fun and made a lot of jokes which made the experience so much better! We all enjoyed our food and had fun catching up!

Yelp
Come in for Mother's Day weekend, we used to live in Ca but now live in Az . But anyway lulu is known for the 3 course meal but we ended up grabbing a chicken Caesar and a Caesar with shrimps and my husband got a burger every thing was yummy the vibe was so Palm Springs drinks were good... very light on the Oj amazing 10 out of 10 The server who help us was good got all of are food right came out on time and all at one time all at once no one had to wait for their food All and all Im not in the palm desert very often but we will be back

Yelp
We popped in randomly and were seated immediately. Staff was super friendly! We had the special they had going for two courses for $27. (Maybe $28 friend paid. Lol). We all had the steak served with asparagus and potato's and a starter cup of the mushroom soup. It was all fabulous and the steak was cooked perfectly! Loved this place! Will be back next time I'm in town.

Yelp
Have an amazing dinner at Lulus California Bistro. Was a work reunion and I have the opportunity to taste all the appetizers and as a main entree I have a double wayu cheese burger; highly recommend, absolutely will come back to get it again.

Yelp
Locals know this VERY dependable restaurant. As visitors this was our third dining experience. This time we had fish and chips (large delicious portions), chicken salad and burger. I split the burger with one of my sons. He had most of my fish chips. GREAT burger...the bun was a compliment tasty....reminded me of the burgers made at the country club my grandfather managed when I was growing up. YES YES and YES!! Oh always excellent service.

Yelp
I've been to Lulu several times. It's one of my favorites when we visit Palm Springs. It's got a great feel to it. There is rainbow colored patio seating, and several different dining areas including one with giant wooden diamonds hanging from the ceiling, and one with round white leather booths. The bar is definitely the star of the show with fantastic mid-century wallpaper and huge lamp shaded chandeliers. Every time we have been here we have had fantastic service by very nice and friendly people. Today was no exception. We ordered the turkey burger, a chicken sandwich and a panini. All were yummy, and so were the fries and coleslaw that came with them. I can't imagine we would ever come to Palm springs and not eat at Lulu. I'm not going to lie, this is not Earth shattering, gourmet food. But it's a fun atmosphere with good food served by great people!

Yelp
It was fine but nothing special. The Poke Lettuce Wraps appetizer wasn't good. It tasted very off. I wouldn't come here with all the other options available in PS. The service took forever despite there being a lot of seating. The staff just seemed annoyed... the portions are HUGE.
google avatar

Yelp
We made lunch reservations which was good as it was packed. We waited a few minutes for a table and both of the ladies at the check in desk were very nice. Our server was really good and helped us out of a pickle, which was very much appreciated. She recommended the tuna poke nachos and- wow - they were really good and.... Really big. So big my dining partner and I knew we could never eat the two entrees we ordered. We asked the server if we could cancel one of the lunches and she got it done. This was several minute into the meal so we were glad she could do that. The Chinese chicken salad was also good, but had a bit too much dressing. Overall a great experience and we will be back.

Yelp
I love coming here whenever I visit Palm Springs. The servers are constantly checking in and are friendly. This place has a lot of seats. I came here Saturday morning with a party of 4 and got seated right away. It started filling up before we were leaving. It seems to be very popular spot the last few times I've come. I think this past time everything was perfect besides my food. It felt so dry and not satisfying, when I was excited to show some friends this spot. I also think prices increased from the last time I've came maybe 2 years ago, but that's expected everywhere during these times. Still pretty good deals though. I got a 3 course meal for $29.99 under there weekend brunch menu: Salad , burger and you can get any dessert but I was feeling like I needed a fresh bowl of fruit so I chose that. The salad felt overdressed, the burger buns were so toasted and dry that I ended up taking the top half off, and the house potatos weren't great so we asked for fries and was good just put my own salt to my liking, the fruit was fine. I tried my friends tiramisu and side pancake( a little dry but better with my fruit) and was good. I took some pictures of their food to also show. I'd probably go back but hope it's better

Yelp
Great Palm Beach vibes! Loved the decor. And make sure to order the pink cotton candy! It's huge and amazing. And the gold silverware and black and gold plate were a wonderful touch. Along with the very large cloth napkin, also in black and gold.

Yelp
The place: Two story building with nice patio which is the best people watching corner in this tourist town. Parking is free in town, and this place on weekends can be crowded. Tables on second floor only open during busiest times. Bathroom are clean and even the manager sometimes wiped down the counters. They have two songs in rotations on repeat. Last year, it was Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake. The vibe: Mixed crowd with lots of local business people, conventioneers, vacationers, and an occasional drag queen! lol. Don't see too many little kids. Noise level varies Tables in front with booths in back. . The food - mostly fantastic but they really shine during lunch and dinner, with salmon, fried chicken, steak, pasta, salads, chicken pot pie my favorites. Also love their desserts including tiramisu and they even have a giant cotton candy bowl. Weekends have the best deal with their starter and dessert with main course. Service: Generally good, depends how crowded the place is. When there are lots of large parties, it can be slower but never too slow. They bring water immediately to the table and the wait person takes your drink order/. The servers wear white shirt and ties and are polite and friendly. Drinks: full bar including weekend champagne brunch special I try to visit Palm Springs 2-3 times a year. My favorite tourist spot in the area is the Living Desert, a zoo with much larger and more natural enclosures half hour away from Lulu's. I always stop here for lunch. Friends and I try to go after the peak hours when there is always patio tables available which is a great people watching spot. I've seen drunk tourists in a self propelled open top vehicle driving by and cheering loudly. Classic cars can be seen and have seen people in costumes, but mostly normal people from all over. Winter can be busy because the snowbirds often escape the cold and come to Palm Springs. This last visit, I had the fried chicken which was one leg, one thing, and breast served crispy and hot and nicely seasoned, served with fluffy mashed potatoes, gravy, and asparagus. My friend had the salmon with asparagus. I have really enjoyed everything that I have tried. I had a glass of champagne for $8.00. No dessert this time because I was happy and full. But in the past, I've had many of their desserts and all were good. By the way, this place was rated the best brunch in Palm Springs.

Yelp
This was our third or fourth visit to Lulu's and it was perfect weather for sitting outside and people watching as we had cocktails and dinner. They have a large menu with dishes to suit any American bistro taste. Prices are reasonable for Palm Springs. The skinny margarita was excellent with no artificial sweetener taste. My husband's Mai Tai was perfect according to him. My chicken sandwich and his spaghetti Bolognese were both well prepared and served hot. Service was on point. Recommend for a casual meal at an iconic corner in Palm Springs.

Yelp
Been 3 times and im just always obsessed! I love this place it's super cute and the service is amazing! The food of course is what keeps me coming so many different choices on the menu. Strongly recommend

Yelp
We stopped in for weekend brunch - it was more food than we could eat...but it was SO GOOD! Highlights were the avocado toast, the American crepe Maison, and the hazelnut crepe! So delicious. The cherry on top was Alfonso - excellent service. He was kind and attentive.

Yelp
Fun bubbly posh environment, tasty huge-portioned bites, strong cocktails, and super friendly staff. We had a blast here at the first dinner for our dear friend's bachelor party. We came starving and left stuffed with delicious calamari, poke, fries, salad, pizza and martinis by the end of the night. Of course we also made friends with the server. Highly recommend making Lulu's one of your Palm Springs grub spots!
google avatar

Yelp
Lulu's dining is as much about the vibe and extraordinary people watching as it is about the drinks and food. The decor is super fun too. I enjoyed my salmon with asparagus and rice and the blood orange margarita was pretty kickin'. The chicken piccata with lemon linguini was tasty too. The only warning I might give is about how crazy fast the food arrives after you order. We wanted a green salad to start and they only have a regular size which was definitely shareable and very fresh. Literally two minutes later, here comes our salad and several minutes later that, our entrees. It was waaay too soon and not timed at all. We were rushed to eat it while it was still hot. Bummer. Our waitress was nice and attentive. As always, lots to look at while we dined which is the fun of LuLus.

Yelp
The space is bright and clean. Staff is friendly and attentive. My mango margarita was okay, a little sweet. But it was perfect when I added an additional shot of tequila. I really enjoyed the Ahi Poke Lettuce Wraps. It was served chilled, the lettuce was crisp, the rice was sticky, and all the components tasted very fresh. Perfect light dinner on a hot summer night.

Yelp
Food: Fried Zucchini - with house-made ranch dressing and spicy marinara; Ahi Poke Lettuce Wrap - tuna, carrots, cucumbers, avocado, seaweed salad, green onions and wonton crisps; Classic Cobb Salad - rotisserie chicken, bacon, ham, tomato, bleu cheese, hardboiled egg, avocado, red onion and ranch dressing; Chicken Caesar Salad - chopped Romaine lettuce with imported parmesan; Sauteed Fresh Atlantic Salmon - served with champagne Dijon beurre blanc, rice pilaf and fresh seasonal vegetables Service: great, timely service Design: interiors has a very 1980s vibe with these colorful hanging floating panels, light fixtures; white chairs and tables, dark black carpet and large B&W photos of famous old school celebrities that have lived in Palm Springs, like Lucille Ball and Marilyn Monroe Overall: if you want good American food in a cool, hip spot in Palm Springs, then stop on by this place

Yelp
Lulu's is a Palm Springs must-visit! From the moment we stepped in, the vibrant atmosphere and friendly energy were undeniable. The decor is fun and colorful, with a sleek modern twist that matches the upbeat vibe of downtown Palm Springs. We came for an early dinner, and it didn't disappoint. The mushroom stack was delicious and poke nachos were really tasty. The only dish we were disappointed with was the prime rib- 1/3 of it was pure fat and inedible. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, and gave some good food recommendations - just wish he warned us about the prime rib. The outdoor seating is prime for people-watching, especially if you want to soak up some sun. Prices are fair for the quality and location.

Yelp
Intrigued by the whiplash of one and five star reviews, we decided to give the place a try. The restaurant is located in a busy corner in downtown PS. Its interior space is quite spacious with pleasant modernist design and seating layouts. The hostess was courteous and we got seated within couple minutes. The server was attentive and brought the menus right away. The menu was quite extensive, and after some exploring, we ordered the following items: Half Chicken: the meat was juicy with crispy skin, mashed potato was soft, and the vegies well cooked. Tilapia: the fish was firm but smooth, and the rice was cooked perfectly. Santa Fe Panini: the bread was nicely baked with crispy crust and soft crumbs. The meat was soft and nicely paired with avocado and onion. Coleslaw was a nice side dish. Chicken Piccata: the chicken breast was tender and the sauce was pleasant with a slight hint of butter. The pasta's texture was nicely and a tad al dente. Overall a pleasant dining experience.

Yelp
What can I say, still the best spot in downtown Palm Springs after 10 years! This time we came as a family for lunch instead of our after work happy hour when I work here before. Love the colorful and lively decor with rainbow colors! The restaurant scream fresh and modern vibe. The service was excellent as always and our food arrived quickly to keep our kids happy. Hubby was happy with the burger, very juicy and tender. The chicken lettuce wrap was fresh and flavorful. Kids gobbled up every bite of their pizza! The best part- their kids meal came with ice cream! Definitely recommend this prime spot for happy hour or any time of the day. Good for people watching if you sit outside.

Yelp
I will say... our server was badass (excuse my language) but, he was one of the coolest servers ever. I wish I got a photo of his name. But I think his last name starts with G. Blonde gentlemen. Gives the best suggestions for food and even places to visit around Palm Springs. I hope the manger sees this and lets him know we had a great visit because of his service. Great service makes great food taste even better. Totally will return every time we visit your town! You now are a must visit!!!! Inside was very clean, colorful, modern but not obnoxious. It was almost like a modern elegant artsy vibe. Booth was huge and comfy. Bathrooms were spotless.

Yelp
This place is massive with tons of upstairs, downstairs, and outside patio seating. We came in late on a Friday night and were immediately sat. Our server was hilarious and super helpful. The chicken bacon burger was huge. The bread didn't taste the freshest but the chicken and bacon were on point. The fried were a little bland and needed seasoning. I'd probably go with a different side next time. The portion of steak on the steak salad was also hefty. And the steak was cooked perfectly, med-rare. The hamburger was pretty basic, and a little dry. Don't recommend it. Margarita was outstanding and garnished nicely. No happy hour unless you're sitting in the bar area, so that was disappointing to find out after we already sat down.

Yelp
We came here for a bachelorette dinner and the service was awesome since there were 9 of us in the group. They also took reservations. We ordered drinks that were all amazing. They weren't too strong or too weak, just right. I ordered the wedge salad and subbed the blue cheese dressing for ranch. It was huge and filled me up. I also split the pizza with my friend, which was thin crust and crispy. Together they went together. No one once again had any complaints about their food. It was very fresh and no mistakes. I definitely recommend. Parking can be tricky based on when you come here but we found some in the residential area.

Yelp
Came here with the family during the 4th of July. It was a very hot day. So it was quite nice to sit inside. We got here before the dinner rush and were greeted with a warm welcome. We got seated right away. This place is very nice. Very colorful and unique. We ordered our drinks and foods. Foods came out quickly. The selections here are amazing. We all enjoyed our foods. We would definitely come back here in the future.

Yelp
This was another recommendation by a local and we were glad we listened to him! Made a reservation through open table which we were glad we did because this place was hopping on a Tuesday night. Since the sun had set our outside table was very comfortable. This place is huge inside with a big outdoor patio on the street. Good people watching! The decor is fun and colorful. Started with a white sangria which was the nightly special which was good with plenty of fruit in it. My wife got the ahi poke bowl and declared it a success. I got the dinner special that included a good sized mixed green salad with the entree. I opted for the meatloaf which was a big serving but a touch dry. I did get extra mushroom gravy which was good and helped with it being overcooked. It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. All for $28. The service was prompt but not rushed. The menu had many options so a return visit is likely.

Yelp
We had a Rehearsal Dinner upstairs in the balcony for our son and his soon to be bride. Chanel was my point person from the time I began planning until the day of the event. I do not live locally and she sent photos and she kept me updated along the way. On the day of the dinner, everything was decorated beautifully. The staff members were attentive and the food was great. We have zero complaints. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Yelp
The mudslides are delicious here and the burgers are all really good. I always have a good time at Lulu's!

Yelp
Went for a private party upstairs and had a great time! The space was great and the decorations were beautiful! The staff waiting the tables were great - super courteous and made sure all our needs were met. And the food was delicious! Would come back again and would not hesitate to book an even bigger party. Thank you guys!

Yelp
We buzzed by Lulu because we had heard so much about their brunch. Turns out that the hype was completely worth it. Loved the environment, service was great, and definitely we will go back! Had to get the cotton candy to go ~ delish!!

Yelp
The best ice water I've ever had! Waiter was super nice!! And the food was great but whoa it's 105 and hot af... yummy yummy

Yelp
Solid lunch option in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. I wasn't sure how busy restaurants would be during Modernist Week, so I chose Lulu for the fun decor, patio seating, large menu options (including vegan/vegetarian and gluten-free) and most importantly reservations. Our group had a variety of dishes: Chinese Chicken Salad, Chicken Filet Sandwich, Chicken Linguine Alfredo, and Bacon & Avocado Burger. All were good with a nice portion size and the fries that came with my meal were shareable. Large place that is full of color and fun and we had a great server.
google avatar

Betsy C.

Yelp
Thanks to our server Thomas, we had a great dinner at Lulus. His service was upbeat and wonderful. Fish and chips & burgers were spot on. Drinks were just perfect, we had the mango margarita, the lemon drop, Old fashioned and beer. The staff seems to have been trained much better than they used to be. Will definitely come back.

Yelp
This place is phenomenal. Came here on a whim. And we were so glad we did. We were greeted with a friendly, sincere smile. We were sat right away and our drink order was taken promptly. Wait staff was very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Melissa, our server, was knowledgeable and helpful. Food was delicious. I had the Ahi Poke Bowl. It was delicious. So yummy. While the others in my party ordered Prime Rib, filet mignon, and Bistro Steak with truffle fries. Their dishes looked amazing! All their steaks were cooked to perfection. The restaurant is very clean, open and lively. Love the ambience. It has a great vibe! If you're in the area and visiting Palm Springs, this place is the spot to go to for some delicious food.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday with friends and family to enjoy a nice brunch. The service was outstanding. Our drinks were never empty. The food was ok but it was such a great deal for a 3 course brunch. Ate so much that I could only take one bite of my 3 layer chocolate cake. One thing I forgot to do was to take pictures of the menu but there is a 3 course brunch deal for around $30, and 3 mimosa's for $10.

Yelp
Lulu California Bistro is a Palm Springs landmark with its distinctive colorful signage and its convenient location on South Palm Canyon Drive in the heart of the city. We met friends here for Sunday brunch on Labor Day weekend, a first visit for all of us who - for some reason - had never managed to get here prior to this visit. We had an 11 AM reservation for four, fully expecting to have to wait due to it being Sunday on a holiday weekend, but we were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately. Upon entering you are at once impressed by the cavernous, multi-level interior. I requested and was able to get a corner table away from the main room and appreciated that the tables are spaced far enough apart so as not to be one on top of another as you find at other Palm Springs restaurants which seem to cram as many tables as they possibly can into any available space. Service was fast and friendly - both the young man who took our drinks order and our server, Oscar, who came over with menus and to answer any questions we had. Both the bus staff and Oscar remained attentive throughout our visit - much appreciated. Lulu's is known for their Sunday brunch which is a 3-course meal for a fixed price of $29.99. We each decided that it was more food than any of us wanted so we opted to a la cart it. For beverages, two of us had coffee ($3.49 each with unlimited refills), one ordered a glass of pineapple juice ($4.998 - no refills) and I had the ice tea ($3.99 with unlimited refills). We had four different entrees:Chicken Pot Pie (roasted chicken, baby carrots, mushrooms, pearl onions and sugar snow peas) for $21.99 which came as a huge portion with enough left over to take at least a third of it home for later. Vegetarian Scramble (mushrooms, bell peppers, tomatoes and onions) for $19.99.American Crepe Maison (scrambled eggs, turkey, bacon and American cheese) for $19.99 South of the Border Scramble (avocado, shrimp, Monterey pepper jack cheese, grilled chilis and fresh salsa) for $19.99. Portions were large, served hot and at the same time. Everyone was very satisfied with their choices. Our total bill for breakfast with tax but before tip came to $107.00 which we thought was very reasonable - especially for usually over-priced Palm Springs. All told, based on our very positive experience, I recommend Lulu's - at least for their breakfast: fast, friendly, attentive service, good food, nice portions, reasonably priced. We will definitely make a point of returning for lunch and/or dinner.

Yelp
We loved this spot. Very busy on Village night (Thursday). We had OpenTable reservations which was key. Quick seating. I had the chicken piccata (absolutely excellent!!) and my husband had the combo special (entree and soup or salad for $27.99). He got the meatloaf and garden salad. The salad was incredible (I ate most of it). The meatloaf came with asparagus (bummer! Wished it was mashed potatoes!). Our waiter (James) was great: attentive and funny.

Yelp
Fueled up right at Lulu California Bistro this weekend! Their weekend brunch menu was packed with options, but our table went ALL-IN on the South of the Border Scramble... and wow, it did not disappoint Savory, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. Shoutout to the staff too -- super friendly and attentive! From coffee and tea refills to quick check-ins, they made our morning extra smooth. Definitely adding Lulu California Bistro to our rotation when in the Palm Springs area. Can't wait to go back and try their lunch next!

Yelp
Came here for my friend's birthday dinner and had a great time. The interior was beautiful and colorful. It was a Saturday night so it was packed. Our waiter was really on it when it came to attending our table. I ordered an Aperol Spritz with my Spaghetti Pomodoro with Shrimp. The dish tasted so fresh with the pasta and essentially completed the dish. They brought a giant roll of cotton candy for my friend's birthday. Love this place!

Yelp
This place was conveniently located right across the way from our stay at the Best Western in Downtown Palm Springs. The decor was fun and festive, with big colorful light fixtures, white booths and furniture with multi-colored cushions. It has a modern 80ish vibe. My stepson asked if this is what restaurants looked like in the 80s and we had a good chuckle-no, restaurants in the 80s were not this cool. The service was friendly. We arrived early for our reservation and were seated promptly, which was great because we were all very hungry. Our server was friendly and attentive. For drinks we had the red sangria and the mango mojito. Both were tasty. The mango mojito was so good that my partner ordered a second soon after, but felt the effects later on in our dinner. Those mojitos are stronger than they appear. The sangria was refreshing, and just what I wanted after a long day of travel. The food was very good! I ordered the half lemon chicken special, which came with a side salad, mashed potatoes, and green beans. The side salad is a little different (in a good way) with crispy wontons and orange viniagrette. The lemon chicken was flavorful and well seasoned. My stepson, who cleared his plate of the burger and fries, reported that the fries were delicious and shared one with me. I can confirm the deliciousness of the fries. My partner had the pizza. He prefers Italian style pizza and the crust was a little thin for his liking. But he finished it completely, which speaks for itself in my opinion. Overall, this is a nice spot for a casual dinner, with a widely varied menu. There should be something for just about everyone here.

Yelp
TL;DR: Average diner experience--will not return. Lulu sits in a prime location and was packed when we arrived, which initially gave me high hopes for the dining experience. Unfortunately, those expectations were not met. While the restaurant has an interesting and well-thought-out decor that adds to its ambiance, the food ultimately fell short. We were seated relatively quickly, and the service was decent--efficient but not particularly warm or memorable. I ordered the mahi mahi, expecting a flavorful and well-prepared dish, but what I received was disappointingly dry and lacked the moisture and seasoning needed to elevate the fish. For a restaurant in such a sought-after area, I anticipated more attention to detail in their execution. If you're looking for an average dinner in a lively setting, Lulu might fit the bill, but I wouldn't recommend going in with high expectations. Given the underwhelming food quality, I wouldn't return.

Yelp
Great experience! We went for apps and drinks. The service was great, all the employees were so nice! They had a ton of options, not too expensive. We got wine, chips and guac and truffle fries and it was all delicious! The vibes/decorations were fun and there were a couple TV's on sports over the bar.

Yelp
Food was good. Diablo wings not very Diablo, but they were good nonetheless. Had a wagyu burger, it was good. Friends had a pizza and burgers all around, good temp. Miguel our sever was outstanding, very attentive and gave us so much input on the food. Great service all around and a comfortable environment. Would come back.

Yelp
Great brunch place, nostalgic mid century chic vibes decors. It's the second time we've been here and my wife craves for their famous chicken pot pies.
