First time eating here. Service was nice, prompt and friendly. Three of us stopped for early dinner. Server brought a pot of hot, strong green tea. This was good. The food was not that great. I had the hot and sour soup. This has bacon or pork sprinkled on top. Something tasted "off", I think it was the bacon. After a few spoonfuls I quit eating it. For entree I order the Kung Pao Chicken. Lots of veggies, bell peppers, onions and too much celery. Again, some of the meat tasted old. The combo plates had a lot of food and I tasted the egg foo young. This was covered in gravy but pretty bland. I won't eat here again.

I ordered General Tsao as I always do. I say make it spicy. It's always sweet, the perfect amount of spicy. Well I put in my order today and believe I was given the wrong chicken. Tasted great but wasn't sweet and yummy. I called and they say didn't change the sauce and I try explaining they must of made me the wrong stuff and he just repeats himself. I'm disappointed, was looking forward to what I wanted and don't think I will be going back. Sad.

This place is Fantastic! The chow mein is good , it comes with crispy noodles 🍜 the potstickers are off the chain, the General Tao's chicken, BBQ pork, and the wait staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Great eating place. Leon takes very good care of his customers. Regina was great at making sure our every need was taken care of. Can't wait for my return visit ❤️🙂

Been here a couple Times this last month. Food and service has really gotten better. We almost quick coming here. The last two times has been great. We have been coming here to this place for fifty years, my wife and I. New owners though of course.

Went for the lunch special specials. Wife got the daily special (sweet sour shrimp, pork chow mein, pork fried rice) and i got the conbo 4 (see menue photos). Restaurant had 10 to 12 tables full. Our order was taken quickly, hot tea came out right away. Moments later, our food arrived. Good quantity for the price and was filling. The menue items were fresh, tasty, and did not disappoint.Place was clean and the servers were friendly even though they were clearly busy. Upon my request, they brought out hot oil and chilie paste. They do have saracha. Personal preference though for golden crown chow mein instead(less celery). Oh, the fortune cookies are fantastic, something to look forward to as we finished the pot of tea. Overall, lunch was very good and will go back again.

We decided to finally try this for the first time tonight as we've heard a lot of folks talk about this place through social media. We ordered on their website for pick-up and the total wait time from getting there to food pick up was around 12 minutes. Definitely fast and good service, and I can't really say the food was bad - it just left a lot to be desired. Fried rice was extremely bland which was a serious letdown. The chow mein was decent, the sweet and sour chicken wasn't crisp/soft in some bites but the sauce was decent. Honestly the best dish was the Mu Shu Pork - would recommend that for sure from a presentation and taste standpoint. Salem is a very weird city in the sense that there is no defact-o Chinese restaurant anymore these days. All have their own singular dish that's great, and everything else is mediocre - average - food. Lum-Yuen is another example of that. Solid 3 star. ⭐⭐⭐

We don't ever get our order right we are always missing something and this time on a piece of our pork strip there was a pile of fly eggs spending over 100$ on our order.
