Lumbre Restaurante

Awesome restaurant. We had the Fuego menu and it was an incredible experience. Each dish was a symphony of diferent flavors. We had the wine pairings and this was an experience itself. I would really recommend this. Sorry I forgot to take pictures of some of the dishes before eating them.

If I could give this a 6 star, I would. Recently renovated and renamed “Lumbre”. My wife and I spent 10 days in Spain for a driving and culinary tour, and we must say this was the best dining experience we had. Dishes were exquisite, the service top-notch, the atmosphere intimate and very comfortable. And this was after a day we had dinner at Kotkotxa, a 1-star Michelin at San Sebastián. Dining at Lumbre made Kotkotxa seem “normal”. We had the Sardine Lasagne as starters, which was nothing like a traditional lasagne. The flavors were outstanding. Next, the Hake and Lamb Chops - ten thumbs up. Cooked perfectly so the meats are tender. And then the Torijja (Spanish traditional dessert) and the Canutillos (filled pastry with chocolate) were marvelous. Highly recommended.

The steak was excellent. Definitely seems to be more a meat restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful. The setting was unique.

Excellent. We really didn’t expect to find such a lovely place. The service was superb and the food was fantastic - really, really good We had the choice of two set menus and we were very impressed.

Puedo afirmar que nunca en mi vida, ningún sitio, me había dejado con tanta resaca emocional. Desde el primer momento que entras por sus puertas es todo un espectáculo, cuidan hasta el más mínimo detalle, el trato es increíble, la comida inmejorable, el vino fantástico!!! Soy incapaz de elegir uno de los platos como favorito porque cada uno era completamente exquisito. Vinimos desde Vitoria para conocer este sitio y teníamos las expectativas altas, pues las superaron con creces. Ojalá tengáis la suerte de poder conocer este sitio y sobre todo el gran equipo que lo conforma, gracias Sergio, gracias Jorge, gracias Fredy, gracias Yoli. Sois un equipazo todos y os merecéis todo lo bueno que os pase!!! Sin lugar a dudas, espero veros muy muy pronto!!!!
