I visited this cafe inside The Illuminarium at Area15 on a Friday afternoon at 1:30pm. It was empty but very clean and the service staff were super friendly and helpful. I had a delicious Impossible Burger with fries, and my friends raved about the Fish and chips as well as the chicken wings. The food was fresh and quick. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for casual comfort food around Area 15!!!

Recently, me and my friends tried the Chicken Fried Sandwich and an Impossible Burger at lumin cafe . While the chicken sandwich stole the show with its awesome taste and flavor, the Impossible Burger left much to be desired. The Chicken Fried Sandwich was a delight from the first bite. The crispy exterior gave way to juicy, tender chicken, perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor. Each component, from the bun to the toppings, complemented the chicken impeccably, making for a truly satisfying sandwich experience. On the other hand, the Impossible Burger failed to impress. While it wasn't terrible, it didn't quite live up to the hype. The patty lacked the juiciness and depth of flavor I expected, and though it resembled a beef burger in appearance, it fell short in taste. It was okay, but unfortunately, it didn't leave a lasting impression.Overall, my dining experience was a mixed bag. The 4 Chicken Fried Sandwich undoubtedly stole the spotlight with its deliciousness, while the Impossible Burger failed to deliver the same level of satisfaction. If you're visiting [Restaurant Name], I'd recommend sticking to their chicken options for a guaranteed tasty meal.

Google
We found Lumin Café by accident while visiting Area 15. The Lumin Burger was great (and had a huge patty!) and the shoestring fries are seasoned with flakey salt. You order and pay at the counter which was great so we didn't have to wait for our check from a server before going onto our other activities. The design inside was clean, attractive, and modern.

It wasn’t the people. It wasn’t the atmosphere or music. The food just wasn’t that great. The coleslaw had a weird flavor and the rice was disgusting.. My daughter loved her chicken tenders and fries tho. Not somewhere I would come back to.

No wait staff you order food from the bar. Bartender got 2 drinks wrong. No receipts. Food was mediocre. Hummus had a layer of crust on it and the vegetables and bread were old. They had the layer of old skin/slime and they were flimsy.

My wallet got legs and walked away a day prior. My cards were cancelled like Louis CK so Johnny Cash was my only tune. I walk the line between YOLO frivolousness and unrolling my sushi to make it a two course meal. Today I wanted more than nourishment…I wanted to trade my last few dollars for an full-on experience that would last forever. Before entering the Vegas Illuminarium..I visited Lumin Cafe & Kitchen and to be quite honest..my expectations were exceeded by Pi. It was a magnificent space with high ceilings, great seating and generous light pouring in from the large windows. The ordering was cafeteria style with a long counter and menu hovering overhead. I went with the hummus and whoa! This plate came out looking like it was assembled by a man or woman with Copperfields hands. The presentation was that of an Iron Chef. The freshest of vegetables (radishes beets celery) were laid on wax paper waiting to be chosen for a dip like a backup on the college swimming team. The Hummus itself sat in a small cast iron dish and was peppered with mysterious spices and garnished with whole chickpeas that survived the smashing. The pita bread slices were served warm and tasted as if they skinny dipped on a high flame grill at your uncles cookout. It gets no better. Needless to say…my gummy kicked in right on time and nothing remained of this dish after 420 seconds. I stuffed every morsel into my face like a ravenous vegetarian. And so should you. They have many other menu items to explore and judging by what they did to something as simple as hummus…You’ll be in for good time. Eat Up! Atmosphere is nice. But that is about it. Husband saw on the menu an adult milkshake. Employee told him only one guy knows how to make those, and that he no longer worked there. So...why keep that on your menu? Our friend ordered the sliders that were to come with caramelized onions and some sort of fig jam. Her sliders came out plain. When asked where the toppings were for them, was told they ran out of both the onions and the jam. Instead they offered her ketchup, mustard, and chimcherri sauce. Seriously? She started wondering why she paid extra for this "special" burger when she could've just gone to McDonald's. Not worth trying this place out again.

We checked this place out while out and about in Vegas. A pretty simple menu with some simple dishes. Not bad, not great, but easy enough for a quick bite.

Yelp
This was a cool place to grab a quick bite to eat. We had to come here real quick because I was getting sick from not eating. It doesn't happen often so I didn't think to eat beforehand, but luckily, Meowolf let us leave and come over here. They had a small menu with some diverse food options. So of course we had to try the Korean and Mexican dishes. The Korean Fried Chicken Bowl was really good. It was actually spicy af and a bit too much for me. Hubby said it was better than he expected since it wasn't sweet and he'd get it again. He didn't like his chilaquiles but I liked them. Neither of us liked the weird drink we got from here. Loved: - KFC Korean Fried Chicken Bowl Liked: - Chilaquiles Disliked: - Drink: Vita Coco Spiked with Captain Morgan Lime Mojito

Yelp
Please enjoy all dishes equally and not show a preference for one over the other. The Lumin Cafe is located inside the Illuminarium. It is clean and bright with lots of windows. My companion and I decided to split a plate of sliders. The food came out quickly (the menu is limited). My friend thought they were a bit greasy but I enjoyed them. It came with fries -- fine. This was a quick snack before the Space show. Hey kids, what's for dinner?

Yelp
Lumin Café & Kitchen is an inviting café to enjoy a meal if you are in the area of Area 15. Find them in the Illuminarium building next to the main Area 15 building. Parking is easy and nearby. You can either park in front of the main Area 15 building or to the side of the Illuminarium building. It's all free parking. The café is open, bright, and airy. It feels like you're outside with all of the natural light and trees. They have tables and booths. We were easily able to grab a couple of tables to make a table for our group of 10. Major bonus points for being able to walk in with a party of 10. Ordering is at the counter and food is delivered to the table as it is ready. Everything you need will be provided by the employees as they deliver your food. Local beers are a drink option. I went with a Vanilla Chantilly beer on draft. It was so smooth and delicious. The "KFC" Korean Fried Chicken Bowl offered a delicious variety of ingredients. It didn't hold back on the heat. If you love spicy food then this is for you. The spicy chicken was tasty and I enjoyed the rice and veggies too. My husband enjoyed his Grilled Cheese (add bacon) and my toddler enjoyed her Chicken Fingers. Our whole group enjoyed their food. Other items enjoyed were the Burger Sliders, Short Rib Tacos (a special), and salads. Next time we will have to grab some ice cream or donuts from Wicked Donuts. This was a peaceful spot with a lovely variety of options. I'd love to plan a meal here again next time I'm at Area 15.

Yelp
Love the ambiance here! A lot of comfortable seating at this cafe! Seating includes booths, bar chairs, and padded chairs. Ordered their Fresh Fish & Chips, although I requested more fries instead of coleslaw. The cod pieces were huge! I was very satisfied that the food came out fast!! The cashier was customer- friendly and patient with me as I've browsed the menu. Make sure to get some gelato before leaving this cafe.

Yelp
The modernity and cleanliness, I'd give a 10. I almost took a nap because it was so comfortable. They also play really good music. It's not too loud. The food, I'd give a 2.5/5. I had the shrimp tacos yesterday and they were just ok. They lacked flavor. Today, I had the chicken tenders. They took "fried hard" to another level. They cut the inside of my mouth up a bit. The staff is nice and accommodating.

Yelp
Stopped here after OmegaMart on a Wednesday at 3pm. It was very quite and we ate outside on the patio. They do have indoor dining (same menu) and ordering as well. We got the mandarin chicken salad and the Tahini sesame kale salad. They accidentally put chicken on the kale salad which I wasn't upset about. Salads were good, very light dressing but it didn't have a ton of flavor. The kale in my salad also had a ton of stems and were a little bad on the ends. I got the prickly pear Vodka drink and it didn't have a ton of flavor as well sadly but it was refreshing. Service was FANTASTIC. One server walked by with the fish and chips and that looked really good. Be careful when you eat outside, tons of pigeons around and they are not scared of people. The drink cost as much as the salad which was crazy to me. My total for drink, salad and tip was $37 and some change. It's a healthy option if you're at Area 15 but I wouldn't go out of your way to make a special trip to eat here.

Yelp
Wow this place is so good. Really really good food, really really good ambience and we found it by chance. We went to Meowolf and we booked our tickets so early that after we checked out of our hotel, we didn't even have a chance to grab a bite to eat. We were hungry, hangry & grouchy, and we had our kids with us. We found this place and they were so delightful. The food was delicious. The service was really good and the ambience, it's really really nice. It feels like a safe cute little library in Manhattan. I want to come back. Thankyou.

Yelp
Lumin Restaurant in Area 15 of Las Vegas offers quick service in a unique ambiance that captivates guests. However, while the atmosphere is impressive, the food falls short, lacking the expected quality that one would anticipate from such an establishment. Overall, it's a spot to experience a vibrant setting but may leave something to be desired in terms of culinary delight.

Yelp
Came here for lunch and a drink while visiting Area15. Nice vibes with inside or outdoor seating available. The fans and cooling mists help a lot. Ordered from the bar and their attentive service allowed me to get my pretty strong drink, 2 tacos and chips plate combo in good time.

Yelp
No decaf coffee even though menu says there is. So zero stars for that. Food: My boyfriend had the chicken sliders and he said there were a lot of flavors and a jalapeño kick. The French fries had rosemary on them. Great quality food!

Jean S.

Yelp
The fried chicken sliders! THE FRIED CHICKEN SLIDERS!!! You guys... This was some of the best fried chicken I've had in a long time. It had a spicy kick to it, a yummy light purple cabbage slaw, and a delicioussss spicy mayo. Get this, you won't be disappointed! Food came out fairly fast and staff were helpful when we needed condiments. A bright and inviting space too. A nice surprise!

Yelp
Lumin Cafe & Kitchen is a fantastic addition to AREA15. They're located inside Illuminarium Las Vegas. Interior is spacious and clean with ample seating for table and booth. They have a bar and relaxing outdoor patio. Menu offers light bites, salad, sandwich, burgers, sliders, kids menu, and adult shakes with infused rum. I opted for the Breakfast sandwich ($13) which is very delicious! It has crispy bacon, aged cheddar, sundried tomato aioli, and over easy egg in a soft brioche bun, so good! The sandwich was served with crunchy potato chips. For sweets, they have cookies and ice cream. I chose strawberry ice cream ($3), it was light and good. They offer complimentary infused water. Overall, welcoming and friendly service from Jason. Love the chill vibe and awesome music. This is a great place to dine for casual comfort food.

Yelp
Lumin Cafe and Kitchen's fish and chips were so good, Poseidon would probably order takeout. Each bite was a maritime masterpiece, making me question why I ever bothered with land-based cuisine. Now, on to the chicken sliders - they were drier than a stand-up comedy show in the Sahara. I felt like I needed a hydration intervention after attempting to munch my way through those poultry-drought patties. However, the shoe-string fries were the unsung heroes of the meal - crispy, golden warriors saving the day with each flavorful crunch. Lumin Cafe, you've mastered the aquatic art, but let's work on keeping those chicken sliders out of the desert, shall we?

Yelp
We came for lunch right after visiting Omega mart at Area15. The server was friendly. The food served fast. The ambiance was decent, with good natural lighting and music not too noisy. We ordered fried chicken sliders. The kimchi and sriracha inside were awesome and added additional flavor. The fries were cooked perfectly. However, the classic burger medium rare ordered came as well done, which was a little disappointing...... All in all, the food came with good portion and priced reasonably. I would recommend this place.

Yelp
Kimberley took great care of us! When we had forgotten our birthday candles, she went the extra mile and scoured the break room to find a set so we could celebrate our friend's 40th! The spicy chicken sliders were spicy and delicious!

Eric B.

Yelp
Eat before you go. A coffee and tiny muffin was $17. Not very good value. Muffin was just average taste wise.

Yelp
We came here a few months ago- This place was an oasis on a very hot day. The employee on staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our food was delicious. We had a breakfast burrito, pretzels and cheese and the flatbread (wow, that's a lot of bread). Lots of veg options, yum!

Jay H.

Yelp
Do not think it will be quick service even if it is completely empty. Came with an hour before our scheduled show for a drink and an appetizer and waited 25+ minutes for one appetizer to come out when there was only one other group of 4 people. When asked what causes the delay the employees shrug. The customer service or any sense of urgency is a joke, go elsewhere.

Shannon P.

Yelp
If you haven't been here, add it to your list! Wonderful, fresh food and excellent service from counter to table. We will definitely be back!

Samuel K.

Yelp
I went to the Lumin Cafe for lunch before going on the Space tour. The service here was top notch as well as the food. I ordered the chef special fish tacos with French fries. The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The fish tacos here were delicious. I recommend this restaurant and I will definitely come again when I visit Area 15 again.

Yelp
Really delicious food here, it's pricey for the proportion but overall it's good. would go here again yum. I like how it's conveniently close to area 15.
