"Dining at Lumin Cafe & Kitchen, I found a light, airy, earth-toned counter-service cafe bathed in natural light and greenery that serves approachable, kicked-up American comfort food with unexpected elements: a salad with red lentils, chickpeas, and hummus; a BLT bowl (mimicking the classic sandwich sans bread); a fried chicken sandwich topped with kimchi; fish and chips; and hamburger options including an Impossible burger. Sides include parmesan and truffle fries, an indulgent mac and cheese with a Ritz cracker crust, and crispy onion rings, while small plates range from pretzel bites with cheese sauce to tater tot poutine, one of Chef Kim Canteenwalla’s staple dishes. Expect heat from Korean fried chicken, buffalo cauliflower bites, hot chicken sliders, and crispy arancini with sriracha aioli. Beer, wine, and canned cocktails are offered on the cafe side, while the patio has a full bar with themed cocktails tied to the Illuminarium shows—like the Red Canna (a vodka cocktail with a marigold floater) and a Tiki-inspired vodka cocktail with juices, spices, and a gold sugar garnish—and a cookie and pastry bar features dark chocolate chip cookies, s’mores nachos, and Oreo milkshakes. The cafe is open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., the patio stays open late (midnight Sun–Thu, 2 a.m. Fri–Sat), and no attraction ticket is needed to dine there." - Ryan Slattery
