We went there on a Tuesday night - and it was almost empty. And: I don’t like to sit in an almost empty restaurant. Well…. I‘ve been surprised what was awaiting me. We experienced a very intimate & decent yet nice service. Just the amount of attention which was needed. The food was delicious, flavorful & freshly prepared. The cocktails we enjoyed were handcrafted & pleasant to the taste. I can definitely recommend this place.

Hands down, the best Sunday brunch there is! They offer unlimited mimosas, sweet twisted bread, yogurt cup and a main entree for a reasonable price. I can’t believe more people haven’t found this hidden gem! Beautiful place to have celebrations & gatherings. The food is real authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend!

My husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary at Glen Ivy Hot Springs and wanted mexican after. I did a google search and found this place. It was AMAZING! We loved everything. The guacamole and salsa are delicious! My husband got the Habanero BBQ Ribs Full and they fell off the bone! I had the Carnitas which was divine, they are cooked in banana leaves and were so juicy. Our waiter Frank was so on top of everything and made us feel so special. We live pretty far away, but we’re already planning to come back!

First time at Luna for a friend's birthday dinner. Modern Mexican is definitely the vibe. Decor inside is very clean and moody with modern, dark, rich colors. Cute table lamps at each table are a nice touch to read menus. First stop was the bar while waiting for our entire party to arrive. Jalapeño cucumber margaritas were a hit. Smoked old fashioneds were also nicely done. I ordered a vodka gimlet that was very tasty. We had a party of 13 and they accommodated us nicely. Typical for a Saturday night to be busy. Guacamole and Queso Fundido appetizers went well with the chips and salsa they provide. Both very good. All our dinner choices were good. The chicken chimichanga which was packaged like a gift bag, pretty cool. Beef Fajitas were good, but the meat to veggies ratio could be better- could use more meat. Carnitas was a good plate as well. Salmon Zarandeado had good flavor as well. I was not a fan of the Camarones de fideo (Shrimp and pasta). Shrimp was delicious and cooked perfectly but the sauce on the pasta in my opinion didn't fit. If you are hungry you'll want to get appetizers or a soup or salad as the serving sizes are not large. We ate our fair share of chips and salsa too. The Ensalada Del Jardin has a great citrus vinaigrette. Would go well with any of the dishes. Birthday dessert was flan and we ordered the deep fried ice cream as well which were a perfect way to end the meal. Servers, bartender, and bussers were all very nice. I'm sure we'll be back. Maybe try happy hour next time. I've heard good things.

Attended a birthday celebration here and was pleasantly surprised by the nice interior ambiance and that they had a separate section for the event. We had picked our menu items before arriving and enjoyed starting with freshly made chips and salsa that I kept asking for refills. I would come here just for the chips and salsa. The enchiladas were flavorful, moist different than any other enchilada I have tried, the presentation was appealing to the eyes. The fish was as cooked perfectly and the steak with adobo sauce had layers of Mexican fusion that worked well together. At last, the dessert of butter cake and ice cream were just right.

Just want to update my review. We've been to Luna a couple of times in the last few months as one of our doctors is in Riverside. So we try to make it so we can have lunch at Luna after the appointment...a reward, so to speak. It's a 45 minute drive from our home so we normally wouldn't go just for dinner. But...we know in December they have their "Holiday Chili Rellenos" that are so good we would drive up just to have those. Only in December! As luck would have it, we were able to have lunch last week and when the server said the Rellenos were the special of the day, we were so happy! There's just a combination of flavors that is unique and delicious. We hadn't had them in a couple of years and we savored every bite. The sides are excellent also. The staff is always friendly and efficient, so it was one of the highlights of our Christmas season, for sure.

We loved it here!!!! Our server, Rudy, is the best!!! He was so kind and helpful with our orders. He made sure that my friend, who is vegan, has the perfect order and that everything was correct. Our margaritas were super delicious. I would recommend getting the fish tacos! Very wonderful place inside as well. :-)

Good meal! Attended a wedding rehearsal here so can't speak on typical dining service. We had the Steak Adobado and Shrimp pasta. Definitely some great flavors going on. Steak had two different cooks , but still good with the potatoes. I really liked the shrimp dish. Butter cake was also delicious. Oh and the drinks were STRONG This restaurant is perfect for an event or special occasion. If in the area I would definitely go back.

Luna Modern Mexican Kitchen is great! The cheese enchiladas verdes are one of my favorites! It's just so good. The tortilla, sauce and loaded with lots of cheese. 10/10 on the enchiladas verdes! Not spicy at all by the way. I ordered these again this time. They were great!! I also ordered the Chopped Entrée Salad. Added some salmon on that and the salmon was good. 10/10 for the salmon filet. It was cooked well. The salad itself was just, odd. It had beans, corn, peppers, pickled onions, tomatoes, grapes, and a sweet vinaigrette dressing. The flavors just didn't mix together well. My husband got his favorite Mar Y Tierra Duet. He loved it and always orders this dish. It's hearty and always cooked well. We had good service. The server was friendly and as soon as my iced tea got low, she was on it! Nice ambiance at Luna Modern Mexican Kitchen.

Luna is a yummy place to have a celebration. We went here to celebrate my coworker's retirement. They made her feel special by gifting her a flan and wrote happy retirement on the plate. That was such a sweet gesture. Other than the kind gesture, the place was very clean, service was good and the food was delicious. I had the appetizer sampler and had more than enough to bring home.

Luna Modern Mexican This is my absolute favorite restaurant in. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat Mexican cuisine. We are so fortunate to have this place just a 45 minutes drive away from home. Food is stunning, both the tapas and enchiladas are amazing. Found this restaurant while staying in Norco. We were greeted once arrived and sat quickly, they gave us the menu and let us know that everything is done fresh. It was nice inside dim with some music. Our waitress was really friendly and helped with our questionsz i had the platter and my husband the enchiladas we were both content with our food it was good. Definitely will stop by again when in the area

You know... this place is known in the whole community. And I can see why. But to me it's just pretty basic.... The exterior and interior is very nice. It's very clean and the staff is very professional. The bar area is large and the seating in general throughout is great. But the reason why I only put 3 stars is because the food. And being that it's a restaurant that's the main reason you go here right? I've had a few things. Mole chicken enchiladas. And about all happy hour items. Their happy hour is the highlight. Can't go wrong with anything during happy hour. The mole enchiladas are extremely dry. The chicken is SO dry it's hard to chew. The rice and beans are not very good either. The mole? Actually very good. Now if this mole was paired correctly and or made with tender moist chicken? That would be amazing. The weirdest part about all of this. Is that it's a Mexican Reataurant. But you know what's the best here? The bbq ribs. Trust me try them. Or just get the sampler platter which has some. Amongst other things. Would I recommend this place? Definitely for happy hour. It's very clean inside and staff is great. Check it out, enjoy!

Decided to come here on a whim for Valentine's Day. The restaurant is a hidden secret and as soon as you go inside, you would be surprised with its size. It's nicely lit and has a good ambiance. We ordered fresh guacamole and the shrimp for appetizers. For dinner, my husband got the chicken fajitas and I got the fish tacos. Overall, the drinks were decent as were the appetizers. That was about it. I was not big on the tacos nor did my husband enjoy his fajitas. The chicken was a bit overcooked. The service was decent but apart from that, I would probably only come back for a happy hour.

I'd give it 3.5 stars. We (double date) stopped by for dinner this past Saturday early evening. The booth we were seated in was very comfy. Service was good and decor was an upscale dark, classy lounge vibe. We started with the guacamole, made table side as our app. I got the Cisco appetizer sampler. My husband got the carne asada burrito with red sauce on top and the other couple shared the fajita special for 2. The guac was the best dish, in my opinion, especially with the thin tortilla chips and salsa. My appetizer sampler was ok, nothing to write home about. I should've ordered something else. My husband said the burrito was ok, again, nothing to write home about. The other couple didn't mention anything about their fajitas, so again, not spectacular. The cocktails were pretty good, though. The restaurant and another restaurant (Cisco) are located right next to each other in a new-ish and nice business park. At first I thought I was in the wrong location as you don't expect any restaurants there, but I guess they probably do really well for lunch during the week, catering to all the business lunches in the surrounding business park.

The food was decent and the restaurant was cozy, but the service was almost unbearably slow. The servers were very nice when we talked to them, but it was really long to get ahold of our waitress. We had a larger than normal group and were able to fit into a long table. The food came out at a decent time after we ordered, but again, it just took forever to get them to take our order. I will say that the chips were above average, super crispy with a good salsa.

Fantastic food and the service was exceptional! The sauces on the food are 100% perfect! The atmosphere is very lovely.

I've been here countless times over the years since moving to Corona and I must say, the recipes haven't changed! I love the all the food and the drinks! I haven't had one complaint! Luna has a special place in my heart!

Great high end restaurant with authentic Mexican cuisine! Chips were warm and delicious.. salsa had a great taste and was mild. I had the chicken fajitas with flour tortillas and everything was perfect. Service was excellent! Food came out at a normal pace ... about 1 basket of chips in! It was across from our hotel and we said we were just visiting and they brought us a complimentary flan on a big plate with "Welcome to Luna" written in chocolate. * side note... that flan was awesome!!! A very nice wine selection with a nice sit down vibe .

Luna Modern Mexican Kitchen is a very nice place located in a fancy business area in Corona. The restaurant is very well decorated with different pictures of famous Mexicans ie Cantinflas. Even though the restaurant was kind of empty, they gave us the table next to the room where employees take their breaks. Not good... More patrons started arriving and the restaurant got busy, we ordered Empanadas and Fajitas for two. Everything was tasting good and going well regardless the conversations we were hearing from the break room, until I found a HAIR in my food! It ruined the whole experience, I told our server and he blatantly ignored me. Needless to say I won't be going back over there, no matter how good the food and how fancy the restaurant. A hair in my food and bad service? That's wrong!

I was really disappointed with my experience was very highly recommended . The customer service was bad ,staff were inattentive and unprofessional and the food was not up to standard at all. For the price and expectations, this was not worth it. I wouldn't recommend this place. Our server was frank maybe stay away from him .

I came here as part of a work gathering with a party of 14. There was a 3-course tasting menu that was provided in advance and I'm not sure if this is only offered for large groups. They offered chips and salsa for the table and the chips were crispy and fresh! We started with drinks and I ordered a virgin blackberry margarita which took almost an hour to get. I think there were several other large groups that night and the waitress definitely seemed frazzled. For my appetizer, I ordered ceviche. It was a little different from other ceviches I've had since I believe that used coconut milk so it tasted a little heavier than I was accustomed to. There were large chunks of seafood so it was very satisfying. For my main entree I had the filet mignon and lobster enchilada with scalloped potatoes. The filet mignon was tender and paired nicely with the reduction sauce. The lobster enchilada surprised me and was my favorite part of the dish! For dessert we ended with butter cake topped with a scoop of caramel ice cream. The ambiance is very nice and is a great place for a celebration. The dinner just took a long time to get through because there was a lot of time between each course, but this may have been due to issues of being short staffed.

It was my first time visiting here. Great food and drinks. I had the chimichanga, which was flavorful and elegant in presentation. All of the entrees are really well presented. The server was unfriendly and bland, but she was attentive in service. She smiled once, when dropping off the check. Perhaps it was a terrible day, but each encounter felt awkward.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary, and everything about the evening felt so special. From the moment we arrived, we could tell the staff truly cared about making it a memorable night. Vanessa was wonderful in helping us set up the reservation ahead of time--she made sure everything was smooth and that our special occasion was noted. Our waitress, Emma, was fantastic--so prompt with bringing out our food and drinks, and she made sure we were comfortable the entire evening without ever feeling rushed. And a heartfelt thank you to Yesenia, the manager, who went out of her way to check in on us. Her attentiveness made us feel celebrated, and it turned a great dinner into an unforgettable anniversary experience. We left with full hearts (and full stomachs!) and are so grateful to the team for making our night truly special. We can't wait to come back.

Fabulous flavors, bright colors, made-to-order delicious meal. The chicken taquito appetizer was the perfect bite with a wonderful presentation. The initial salsa and chips they served were a great start to this wonderful meal. The service was pleasant and the decor of this restaurant is beautiful. We were a very large group that privately reserved the entire restaurant and they were very accommodating to our group.

The gringo of the Mexican family raved about this spot. I knew it was questionable when his fav item was the chimichanga... The food is extremely Instagram worthy. I'll add pictures. THATS IT! All the appearances and ZERO FLAVOR. The food is so underwhelming, the entire party of 10 felt the same. If you're Mexican and know any flavor, do not come here. Most of the people here were of the lighter complexion and around 80 years old. NEVER AGAIN.

I decided to have a surprise party for my wife and contacted Luna. The banquet manager, Vanessa, was very accommodating and helpful. She listened to what I had in mind and made several constructive suggestions. We were seated in a private room next to the main dining room. I asked Vanessa to have table side guacamole prepared a few minutes after the guests arrived so that they could enjoy an appetizer before I walked in with my wife for the surprise. The guacamole tasted great and was a big hit. After we arrived I met our waiter Frank. Frank took excellent care of our party and made sure that everyone was taken care of. He was even able to make margarita recommendations. Any restaurant or bar will serve you a basic margarita. Luna has kicked up a notch and has a specialty margarita menu. I tried the El Diablo which had fresh blackberries and fresh sage. It was awesome. For dinner everyone ordered what they wanted from the regular menu as opposed to a prefixed menu. This gave people more options and was great for picky eaters. All of the food was excellent and not over priced.

I visited the restaurant when they opened it and i remember food being great! Unfortunately they went down as far as flavor, to start the salsa for the chips didn't have salt, we asked for a salad and a tamal with goat cheese, that was good, after that we got the pork chop and the cochinita, the pork chop came out on the dry side, and believe or not it was dry (for the type of cut they are using) and salty, i was thinking that the extra salt on the cochinita would be perfect on my salsa for my chips, the presentation seems a little too old school but that's not a big deal. Service is decent not the greatest and i can't complain since as far as they take the order and bring the food out is enough some times. The ambiance is great and it's very upscale as far as good music and beautiful decor that doesn't match the food I want to like it but I think next time I just go a cross the street.

Came here for Happy Hour with a few friends on our way home from the mountain. Happy Hour Margaritas were on point. We ordered the sweet potato fries, chicken taquitos, and beef sopes. The chicken taquitos were my favorite of the 3. The chicken was marinated very well. Not dry. The combination of the chicken and the sauces made this a dynamite dish. The beef sopes were good. It seemed to be my friend's favorite. Bartender was attentive in the beginning of our visit. Once our food came out he really didn't check on us. By the way, he was not busy. Didn't even ask if we wanted another drink until we asked for the check, which we definitely would have ordered another one easily. Although we only came in for drinks and appetizers I felt we should have been asked if we wanted chips and salsa. I'll never understand restaurants that only give out chips and salsa with a meal order. Especially since one can easily spend the same amount on drinks and appetizers. Money is money. Maybe I had to ask, I don't know. I did hear him offer a gentlemen chips and salsa, but that gentlemen ordered a meal. Restaurant itself was fairly big. Plenty of tables. Average noise. Clean. Bathrooms are shared with the entire building.

I'm always nervous to walk into a "modern" Mexican spot. Typically the food is a terrible substitute for the traditional food. Not here! This was priced very well, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. This is a nice casual like environment with a great selection of foods. It's quiet yet not, At the same time A must try. My camarones were delicious and only $18

My wife and I decided to go to Luna for a nice lunch on our 53rd wedding anniversary on Monday August 18th. We have been goin there for several years and always had a great food dining experience until this day. The table was nice if you like fighting off the fly's. One flew into my water and the waiter/bar tender took it away without any comment and I eventually got a replacement glass of water. All of our food was room temperature and not well prepared. The Sampler plate was very good but served cold. The Goat Cheese tamale was just OK but barely warm. Them the meat in the carne asada tostado was like chewing shoe leather. I did message the owner a few weeks ago hoping to get a response before I post a review but never got a reply. My final take is......The owner should be more interactive and don't go to Luna on a Monday.

Romantic ambience once you get inside the restaurant. Our drinks and food took a very long time to come out which the reason for the two stars. Also, the staff is extremely inattentive and unfriendly.

This was my husband and I first time dining here. And let me just say, we will definitely be back! The food was amazing, we ordered a couple TNT margaritas really smooth and made very well. We also got cazuela con queso fundido as an appetizer, I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did, normally I like just cheese and chorizo but it had rajas I believe and bits of corn?? I'm not sure but all so tasty. Our mains were Steak Adobado, and my husband got carnitas de lechon pibil they were so tender and full of flavor and the salsa ancho chile I believe the flavor was outstanding. Our server was Maria, she was just perfect! She was such a sweetheart, she came checked on us very frequent and made sure our drinks were never low and she was just very bubbly and happy. We didn't take too many pictures of overall this was delicious and will definitely come again!

Extremely rude front of staff who have apparently never taken a Doordash order before and told me we have nothing for you here. I gave the name of the customer and she again told me we don't have orders for you and I said I'm dashing and they have to pull in a manager just to let me know the order isn't ready.

And they'd be wrong. For there is Luna Modern Mexican Grill next to the Residence Inn I sometimes stay in. Excellent food, lovely interior, $15 corkage fee. My chicken mole enchiladas were good, not great. Mary Jo loved her filet special of the day. The empanadas were interesting and tasty. We've ate here before same consistency. The chips and salsa are addicting. When it's not 100 degrees the patio is lovely to sit outside too. Highly recommended :-)

My recent visit to LUNA was a delightful experience, I order the Steak and Shrimp Fajitas it was delicious, the presentation of the Chimichanga was very cute and it tasted great, our server was friendly and kind and the restaurant has a nice ambiance. I will highly recommend.

Perfect. I love mole, the burrito looked amazing but we didn't share. Food came out remarkably fast, service was top tier. Should've tried the butter cake but we'll have to come back.

Met some friends here for Christmas lunch and the server highly recommended the Chile Relleno lunch special -- 3 out of 4 of us ordered it and it was truly amazing! The first bite was like a party in your mouth--delicious is an understatement. Thank you Luna for serving this special lunch for the holidays. We think you should make it a regular lunch special on your menu.

I was visiting someone who worked above this restaurant and wanted a little bite waiting for them to get out of their meeting. Amazing customer service from the servers who are super friendly and made me feel welcomed to the establishment immediately! As for the food, the chips were super crisp and yummy with the right amount of salt and salsa. They definitely taste fresh and authentic! The enchiladas verde were very delicious and filling along with the beans and rice. All for a decent price too! The ambiance is very pleasing too with the booths being comfortable and the lights being the perfect amount of dim. Definitely was a nice comfort lunch during the rain if you work or live nearby! Will be back.

First time coming here, made a reservation and mentioned that we came for an anniversary. Ordered a wine, cocktail and mocktails for the kiddos. Appetizers was just okay, we did enjoyed it. Food came and i thought it was overly salted. Specialty drinks were just okay, nothing special. Service was slow but after you got everything the server seemed like he wanted to just kick you out. Wasn't asked what kind of occasion we came in for, or if we wanted to order any dessert, he just dropped the check. The check was laying on the table for like the longest time, then he came back to run our card 23 minutes after he dropped our guest check. Went to the bar and grabbed our own to go containers and plastic bags that were laying on the side of the bar. Not sure if we ever want to go back. Cute place, looked very authentic, maybe we were just patronizing on the wrong day or given the worst server.
