My husband and I ate here one Saturday morning after looking for an off the strip adventure and bite to eat. We decided to eat outside here and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely patio seating, the yummy sandwich, the amazing ravioli sauce and the service! We’d definitely go back.

Live music on the Saturday night we were there. It was one guy playing. Not too loud. Great atmosphere. I ordered the trio ravioli in a pesto sauce. Delicious! Other meals were great, too.

What a wonderful experience. I'm surprised this place doesn't have more good reviews. Right from the beginning, the atmosphere was lovely with live music and great lighting to set the mood. Service was pleasant, I always felt tended toward, and we were given time time to make our decisions and were checked on at the perfect times to make our dinner flow perfectly. We started off with an amazing appetizer to get ourselves hungry, and it was amazing. The main course was fantastic! You get plenty of food with perfectly crafted ingredients that make every bite enjoyable and delicious. I appreciated the quality of the food. It felt like it was handled specifically for flavor. Dessert was just as pleasant. They were the perfect end to our meal and left us happy and satisfied with great and balanced flavors. What tied it all together was the live music (went on a Friday night), the impeccable lighting, and the great service. As a whole experience, we spent $136 with an alcoholic drink, an appetizer, two amazing entrees, two desserts, and a tip. As a whole experience, this place was amazing! The other reviews had me a little nervous but my experience was fantastic, and the food and overall dining felt well worth the price.

Beautiful outdoor seating. Excellent, homemade pasta. Pizza with crust that has excellent chew. My favorite restaurant in The Village.

The reason for the mixed reviews is they close early in the off season because business is slow. Expect them to close by 8pm in the winter. This is a surprise if you don't know. Our server, Javier was awesome. My wife and I celebrated our December birthdays and he treated us like family. They gave us complimentary desserts and limoncellos. The beef short rib tortilini was the best! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

This was a cute little authentic Italian restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

Great location/Lake Las Vegas! Good atmosphere and service. We ordered sausage pizza and Tiramisu❤️

Right away, never coming back here again. Servers were impatient in beginning then non-existent afterwards. Clams were beyond expired. Returned my dish but they still charged us for it. Only good thing about this place is the view of the water and houses. Only thing that was good was the bread $105 for an antipasto plate that looked maybe $15 max. $30 for a Chuck E. Cheese pepperoni pizza. This place is below Olive Garden quality but charges 4x as much. We shared each others plates and it all tasted over salted to hide the taste of the expired ingredients. It's a ghost town so they have to make up with ridiculous prices and lower quality ingredients.

Yelp
Wowww this place was so nice and delicious! I'm staying at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas for a wedding, just a few mins walking from the cute little village where Luna Rossa and a few other shops and restaurants live. We arrived for a late dinner, just after 8pm. We were served right away with ice water which was great in the heat, and complimentary warm bread with olive oil and vinegar. There was a live musician playing the guitar as well! We got three menu items: - TORTELLACCI RIPIENI BRASATO DI MANZO AL TARTUFO NERO. Wowww the creamy Alfredo sauce has a great truffle taste and was rich without feeling too decadent. The short rib stuffed in the homemade pasta melted in our mouths. - TAGLIATA DI BUE. The waiter asked us if we wanted it medium or medium rare, I loved that he didn't give us the option for anything else - he knew how it was best served and was certainly right! - CANNOLI. delicious, authentic, and the perfect way to cap a yummy dinner Great service, FANTASTIC food, and a fun environment. 10/10!!

Yelp
Now I love some Italian cuisine and stopped by this restaurant on a whim. Although we did not have reservations and it was crowded, we were promptly seated outside (space was a little tight but they had nice music on the speakers and there was a slight breeze-so no problem). It took a minute for the server but it was busy so again no worries. We ordered a salad and beverages, which were refreshing and tasty. The problem began after we ordered main food, things we wanted to order we not available and we had to settle for alternate dishes which is not necessarily a deal breaker but notable. We waited for 30 MINUTES and ask for the server. He tells us he asked about our dishes with the chef 3 times and was told other dishes were put in front but it is being made now......EXCUSE ME! There is no way, I ran a restaurant before and you just didn't put our order in! 15 more minutes and we leave to go to the front, on the way the server sees us and says he's making it, it's coming... we said no and where is the manager. The hostess points to the manager and she walks right by to the back and then comes back past us to greet other patrons at the front and I said "this is appalling and totally unacceptable", she just kept waking. The intentionality of ignoring us was blatant at this point and we were just stunned at the whole experience. Never, ever will I go to or recommend this establishment!!!

Yelp
We've been coming here occasionally for years and it really is one of our favorite Italian spots in Vegas. This most recent visit was no exception. We stopped by on a Saturday early evening with no reservations and were able to be seated right away. We just beat the rush. It was a perfect day outside and we had a table inside but right next to the patio doors, so we had a breeze and it was perfect. On the weekends, there is a live band usually outside by the lake too so we got to enjoy that entertainment! For dinner this time, we started with the Ortolana salad. This is a salad with lettuce, roasted peppers, marinated eggplant, zucchini and goat cheese. YUM. This was so so tasty that we ate every last piece of lettuce. Definitely recommend this and I'd come back just for the salad :) For entrees, I went with my usual Lobster ravioli. It's one of the best I've had and it's made with homemade pasta here. It's a perfect portion and delish. My husband had the Tortellacci Ripieni Brasato Di Manzo al Tartufo Nero (homemade pasta filled with braised short rib in an alfredo sauce with black truffle). When I tell you this was the best pasta we have ever had...ohhhh my. We were dipping bread into the sauce it was so good. Cannot wait to go back to order this one for myself honestly. (I still love you lobster ravioli).

Danny C.

Yelp
Came in here for dinner and had a very pleasant experience. I got here before the rush crowd so practically was by myself the first 15-20 minutes before people started packing in. Ordered a cesar salad and lobster ravioli. All the food was super fresh and good. The lobster ravioli was all lobster filled and not just cheese ravioli with a little bit of lobster pieces on the side. The vodka sauce was really warm and light. The Caesar salad was super fresh; a little too much dressing for my liking but it was all in all great.

Digvijay S.

Yelp
Came here for a birthday dinner and had an amazing time. The service was excellent. Our waiter provided great recommendations on the food and the wine. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and intimate. Highly recommend the lobster pasta. The sauce was delicious, rich, and creamy, and the lobster was cooked to perfection. The dessert was tasty with a great presentation. Highly recommend this spot.

Lacey A.

Yelp
Wouldn't recommend this place. Which sucks because it tucked away is the cutest area. The ambience is definitely there though. I would recommend the calamari and pizza. All the pasta was a miss for me. It lacked flavor and seem very basic. The waiter we had Giovanni was irritated. Rushed us to order and wouldn't explain menu items. We had additional guest join our table and inquired about his name and he responded he already told us. Would maybe recommend misters for the summer months

M V.

Yelp
Man, reading some of these negative reviews has me baffled. My wife and I popped in this evening (Sunday night) for a quick dinner and drink, we were pleasantly surprised given recent ratings of this place. It seems as if some staff give other guests issues, but we didn't experience this problem at all. My wife had the Manicotti Ricotta E Spinaci (spinach/ricotta manicotti) and I had the Cannelloni Di Carne (cannoli filled beef/pork/chicken) and they were both lovely. Both fresh egg pastas, so something different and light! Both meals around $30 each. Our waiter was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The wait staff all appeared to be older gentlemen.. collared shirts and ties. Ours was willing to explain the meals and suggest wine pairings as well in both a patient and friendly manner. I had an Old Fashioned. Bit of a connoisseur of them, and this was a great drink. Luxardo cherries, craft ice cube.. etc. The prices certainly aren't Olive Garden level inexpensive: but I think people forget that this is a small, romantic, family owned restaurant in Lake Las Vegas serving fresh Italian food. We will be going back.

Peter F.

Yelp
On a staycation at Lake Las Vegas, I needed a nice romantic birthday dinner for my girlfriend. Luna Rossa to the rescue! The restaurant is tucked away in the "village" and was a nice little ambling walk from our hotel. This place is warm and inviting. Tastefully decorated and amply staffed, our dining experience was fantastic! The food popped with flavor and was equally pleasant to the eyes. We opted for the ribeye and some cioppino. Both were fantastic and we accompanied it with a delicious red wine that the waiter suggested. The dessert was also a surprise by the waiter and it was a fantastic lemon frozen custard dish whose name escapes me. Was so fantastic that I dove right in and there is sadly no photo evidence. I didn't think you guys would want to see an empty plate with tongue marks on it.

Kathryn S.

Yelp
Italian food that's traditional was good. Seafood special of the chef was very overpriced, seafood rubbery, and not much sauce. Waiter not very friendly had an attitude specially the tall thin one I second visit we had better service from another waiter, who was much more friendly.

Nancy O.

Yelp
Excellent Italian restaurant in Lake Las Vegas. Food was superb! I had the filet o sole and red sangria...delicioso! We sat out on the patio so that we could watch the tree lighting. It was a beautiful view. The servers were attentive and pleasant. I look forward to returning and tasting other dishes. I'm sure they'll be just as savory.

Taylor F.

Yelp
Omg this place was amazing! The food was flavorful and filling. I want to go back and try everything! The Tortellacci was my favorite and I 100% will be back to have it again. Our server demonstrated impeccable knowledge of the menu, suggesting all of our dishes. We ordered 2 appetizers but were too hungry to take pictures.

Gill P.

Yelp
Nice spring like day in Lake Las Vegas. Perfect weather for a nice Cappuccino outdoors while enjoying the birds and view of the lake. I wish they had those sugar sticks to do it right for my caffeine fix instead of sugar packets. Hopefully next time we can do it right.

Dennis T.

Yelp
Along with another couple, we came here again to enjoy more Italian fine dining, and were generally pleased with the results. A Special Charcuterie Board was brimming with assorted cold cuts, olives, and cheeses to be applied--or not--to slices of bread resting in a complimentary Bread Basket. Golden Gnocchetti Fritti were as delicious as before, whether eaten plain, dipped in Marinara Sauce, or dunked in Alfredo Sauce. A bowl of Minestrone Soup brimming with soft vegetables tasted genuinely homemade. And an excellent Half Cesare Salad with added Brown Anchovies was large enough that I was grateful that I didn't order the full portion. My entree of Linguine Alle Vongole was somewhat spicy and contained far too few clams. But Diane was happy with her generous portion of nicely pounded Veal Parmigiana Alfredo, and our friends were thrilled with their individual Lobster Pappardelle Pasta Special entrees. Seating at tables covered in white linen tablecloths was comfortable, and service by waitstaff was good and responsive. XXXX-1/2 overall!

Chance S.

Yelp
Incredible food and by far the best service and experience. What makes a place special is when they make you feel special and they did a great job when I had dinner with my mom.

Breanna W.

Yelp
When we first arrived the service seemed off, almost rude and impatient. I later decided that everyone who works in this restaurant is a true Italian, they speak very broken English, which is why they may have come off as 'rude' or stand off ish. The food was pricey, but absolutely incredible. The eggplant Parmasean was light and flavorful. The lobster ravioli was tasty. I ordered the Gnocchi with Prosciutto and the gnocchi was so soft, like nothing I have ever tasted before. The cream sauce was light and not over powering of the rest of the food. I've definitely recommended this place to others.

Tim M.

Yelp
Food was outstanding and is set in a quiet, quaint environment! We had a special lobster and shrimp dish made with homemade pasta!

David B.

Yelp
Nice setting, mediocre food, overpriced! Had the calamari and angel hair pasta based on the rave review of the waiter. Pasta was good but calamari was pure rubber. I've had good calamari and this was not! Definitely not worth it.

Jason S.

Yelp
Always nice to take a moment at Luna Rossa and enjoy the food, service and the great weather here at the Village in Lake Las Vegas.

Joseph S.

Yelp
Really good pizza but need different pizza styles we have been going here for 6 years and they are very consistent .Grade A

Rachel G.

Yelp
As soon as we walked into Luna Rossa we felt taken cared of. The servers and host were welcoming and attentive. The ambiance had soft lighting and a comfortable vibe, yet the restaurant was elegant at the same time with white linens and a precisely set up table. The starter bread basket came with a cruet of olive oil and vinegar for dipping. The duet bread basket had pillow-y soft focaccia bread and a crisp-crust, fluffy interior, sourdough bread. Delicious! Our dinner matched the high expectations we had from the beginning. Fresh, authentic Italian, and cooked to perfection. We ordered the Margarita pizza and the Caprese pizza. Each large enough for sharing! We also ordered the Lasagna, Spaghetti and Meatballs, and the Rigatoni Bolognese. I would highly recommend going to Luna Rossa when in Lake Las Vegas!

Susan M.

Yelp
This restaurant was recommended by a friend. She loved the ambiance of Lake Las Vegas on a warm evening. We sat outside. I too, enjoyed the atmosphere. They had live music which was nice. We shared the special burrata appetizer which was very good. My friend had pasta and I had the salmon. Both were fine. My biggest complaint would be the waiter who seemed as though we wanted to move us along. Constantly at our table asking if we'd made a decision on this or that. Somewhat annoying. Not what I would consider good service, but rather pushy. The evening was beautiful and the music was nice...would not go back for the food. Definitely overpriced in my opinion. We split the bill 50/50 and it was $85/person. I had one glass of wine, friend had two glasses of Prosecco.

Abigail B.

Yelp
I use to love this place but it's gone downhill so much. Long time customer. We arrived and wanted a seat on the patio. They put us at a dirty table in the back corner. We asked to move up but they said no those tables are for 4. Fine except 10 minutes after we were sat they put 2 men at the "table for 4" we were told we couldn't have. The food wasn't good. The bruschetta was severely lacking seasoning. I don't think there was salt even in the kitchen when it was made. The fried food was soggy and didn't taste fresh. The bread and drinks were good. The patio furniture was covered in leaves and other messes. There were holes in the cushions. Sadly we should have gone to the bistro next door. Cheaper and nicer with better service. I expect more from one of the surviving restaurants in Lake Las Vegas. I won't go back

John M.

Yelp
Very disappointing anniversary dinner! Horrible service. Server failed to bring salads and bread. Rushed out our main course. Lobster raviolis sub par. Couldn't taste any lobster. Short rib tortellini hardly any meat. Basically spent 100 dollars for pasta. So sad especially on our anniversary.

Shari S.

Yelp
I highly recommend this restaurant. I read several of the reviews and had them in the back of my mind and was pleasantly surprised that the entire staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The waiter Aldo was helpful in picking our meals. The Buffalo Mozzarella/Tomato Salad was delicious, the Saffron Pappardelle pasta and the Short Rib stuffed Tortelloni in Truffle Alfredo S was too die for! Our friends had the Lobster Pappardelle and Clams and Linguini. They said they were also delicious. The wine was very reasonably priced. We will be back. Give them a try. Everything tasted very fresh and home made.

Lourdes V.

Yelp
We had lunch at Luna Rossa. This is a nice Italian restaurant located in the heart of Lake Las Vegas, inside the stunning Villa di Lago. The restaurant offers an elegant and refreshing atmosphere, with lovely decor, plush seating, and beautiful lakefront views. If you get a chance, and it's not too hot, ask for outdoor seating. The menu at Luna Rossa is inspired by traditional Italian cuisine, featuring an array of delicious antipasti, pasta dishes, and seafood. The pastas we ordered were delicious and the Aperol Spritz was perfect for the lovely spring day. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, Luna Rossa was a lovely experience that combined delicious food, beautiful ambiance, and warm hospitality.

Mary Z.

Yelp
Ambiance is great. We sat outside and it was a beautiful night. There was live music and the lighting was beautiful. Service was not the best. After our dinner, I checked out the Yelp reviews and see that we were not the only ones with this experience. Our server was a bit aggressive, not polite, and it felt like he wanted to get everything over with. We would ask for another bottle of wine or more bread and he would either not say anything at all (as if he was annoyed) or he would have a smart, snarky, passive aggressive, sarcastic comment to say. The food was all right. Honestly may be a step above Olive Garden. I got the penne with vodka sauce, smoked salmon, and peas. It was very salty and the pasta tasted like boxed pasta. Boyfriend got the gnocci with prosciutto which was pretty good but a bit on the mushy side. It was ok if you like mushier gnocci. The bread was probably the best part of the meal. It was hot and fresh. Overall, probably wouldn't come back here for the food but I would for the ambiance

Lew K.

Yelp
Excellent food, service & ambience...worth checking it out Even gr8 takeout...neighborhood gem.

Aaron S.

Yelp
Food was good, but service (hostess) was a bit unpleasant. Definitely worth a try. Recommend the eggplant parmigiana. Salad was good. Rigatoni Bolognese was fair. Prices a bit expensive given what we ordered. But good experience overall.

Priscilla T.

Yelp
My husband and I were doing a staycation at the Westin and we always have a hard time finding something good to eat when visiting. Mimi's is hit or miss and the Mexican restaurant is not that great. We almost didn't come here because of the reviews but so glad we decided to go anyway!! I'm still craving the Tortellacci Ripieni Brasato Di Manzo Al Tortufo Nero (I had to copy and paste that lol) but it's like a stuffed ravioli type pasta that is homemade, filled with short rib, with an Alfredo sauce and black truffle, IT WAS AMAZING!! My husband got one of the seafood specials with squid ink pasta and enjoyed it as well. The empress gin lemon drink was delicious, not too sweet. Our server was Giovanni and he was super personable, told us stories, gave great recommendations and made it fun learning Italian terms from him. We'll always ask for him!! This is our new spot for staycations!

Amy M.

Yelp
Skip Luna Rossa and go to Mimi & Coco's Bistro instead. The owner/manager/wait staff is rude!!! We made a patio reservations for a party of 9 several days in advance and we're told "no problem". When we arrive the rude hostess/manager sits us in the corner in the back of the restaurant. I said we made a reservation for the patio and she literally wags her finger at me and says this is where we're sitting. WOW! They will also charge you an automatic 20% tip for mediocre service. The food was good but the first 2 things my husband ordered (salmon and then a filet) they were out of. With their prices the customer service should be so much better.

EB F.

Yelp
Food is excellent. They tried to up the ambiance by playing live jazz, but, still mediocre. Service is lousy, lousy, lousy. Two of us were seated in a little corner of the room. Fine, it's a weekend and they could be in full capacity, besides, we had no reservation. The maitre'd handed us our menu. Five minutes later, a server took our order. That was the first and last I saw both of them. 10 minutes or so, later, our food and drinks were served by a kitchen staff. I asked him if he was our server, he replied 'no'. Fine, the person who took our order (our server?) was just nonchalantly passing by us without any care. We wanted to have some bread, but, he was ignoring us. I felt like I was being discriminated against, it was an odd feeling, while he was hand and foot catering to the other guests, which by the way came in later than us. So, we finished our dinner. Nobody came by to ask if we needed anything, no one, not a soul. The staff was just passing around us like we did not exist. After finishing our food I flagged down a guy for our check. Am I going to wait for someone to pick up my credit card or do I have to pay up at the front desk? After 10 minutes waiting and no one showing up, I stood and decided to pay at the front desk.I saw a person there, maybe, she handles payments as well. But no, a person behind me called my attention, he took my credit card, probably the cashier. The cashier computer was hidden behind a curtain on the side of the room. To recap, food is excellent. Ambience is mediocre. Service is extremely terrible. I live a mile away from The Village in Lake Las Vegas.

Mike P.

Yelp
This place is just amazing! Every single time I have been the food is absolutely outstanding. Best Italian dinner in Vegas says Mike, that's me. I haven't had a single thing on the menu that wasn't great. I asked the server his favorite and he says "I'm a chef, my favorite is what I make... what do you like?" And.... BAM he produced the perfect dinner for my tastes, how did he do that??? Did I mention the cocktails?? I'm slightly buzzed writing this(one drink, score!!!) and I can't wait for dessert! The bolognese is amazing, the pink sauce is stupid good and the staff is there to make sure you have a great dinner. Bread, drinks, dinner, dessert this place does not disappoint! Then there's the whole lake that you can walk around and bring a lovely date too. The area is great for walking around and having a romantic moment with someone special. Go there early, go there often... they always have room for you but give them a call and make sure!

Janis N.

Yelp
omg - the food was incredible. This family-owned Italian Restaurant is so authentic. I had a special which was handmade pappardelle pasta with shrimp & lobster. The presentation alone was fabulous! Fresh Caesar Salad with shaved Parmesan was perfectly dressed. The bartender is exceptional - best lemon drop martini I ever had.

gale w.

Yelp
I went with a large group. The ambiance is absolutely perfect. Service is slow, but we weren't in a hurry. Drinks were slow to arrive and had to request one a second time. Appetizers just ok. Caesar salad limp, soggy and served with raw shrimp. Instead of eating my salad I ate a slice of my granddaughters pizza. It was undercooked but better than my salad. An order of gnocchi was bland and flavorless. My grandson got a tough steak. We were never offered dessert. The drinks were good. I would not ever try them again.

Laurie G.

Yelp
We love Luna Rossa! The food is authentic Italian. The waiters are even Italian! They make some of their pasta from scratch & often have yummy specials. Highly recommend for your next special occasion.

Kenneth A.

Yelp
This place is a dream. An absolute gem outside the caos of the city. The staff is fantastic and ready to welcome you ever so warmly. They definitely add to the experience with thorough knowledge of the menu and seasonal specials. They really have a "team" dynamic which I appreciate. They made great recommendations that I actually went with. I had the veal steak special and let me tell you, I almost licked the plate! The ambience is beautiful. I was sat at a table inside overlooking the village and lake which I really enjoyed. If you need a breathtaking getaway from the busy Las Vegas city this is the perfect place for you.

Sako M.

Yelp
Really delicious and lowkey spot tucked away in the Lake Las Vegas area. The mussel and clam zuppetta is a must, and the tiramisu dessert is one of my favorites. The portions are quite generous, and I love coming here with a small group so everyone can eat family-style and try a little bit of everything. The lake view is a bonus, too. The servers are all friendly and the service is on the border between formal and casual, giving the place a touch of upscale charm that's balanced with a relaxed and easy atmosphere. There are daily specials that always sound fantastic, and the chefs take care in preparing every dish. The price point of the place is debatable, since the prices of the dishes can vary quite a bit depending on the item. For the most part, pricing is very reasonable, if not leaning towards the high side since it is located in a tourist/resort area.

Susan R.

Yelp
"For what it's worth, it's never too late or in my case too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit. Start whenever you want." F. Scott Fitzgerald From that first time, your gaze and that smile I was taken. Your not too late, nor early you always have the perfect timing. Let's begin shall it be today, perhaps tomorrow. What does time even matter? It doesn't; but perhaps we should order since the waiter will not keep our time schedule. As we sit here, we begin and start anew. He could not of picked a better place. As the butterflies churn in my stomach, I am taken by his gaze. Shall I get lost, time will tell. Happy comes over me! As we glance around the world seems different for we are caught up in our own momentum. Our surroundings are the best for starting anew. This engagement was a whim that he chose for our first meeting together. What could be possibly better? Nothing it's all perfect; just sitting across from him. All he needs is to smile and just be! The service is outstanding, as we sit here the air is thick and ripe with the perfect mix of joy and warmth. The waiter made all our food to order as we asked. I'm one that needs special dietary needs, no tomato in an Italian establishment. The waiter was informed of my special needs and desires and all were met. The waiter handled all our needs to the smallest detail; even the ordering of the type of wine. It was a red; of course. It was just perfect. What an evening to begin something new. All the ducks in a row. As he listens to the man play music next to us, I see all the passion and love that he brings to the world. How could I be gifted such a blessing. This is where it all began. Reservations are available and much recommended since it can fill up fast. You would not want to miss your chance at anything special in your lives. The vibes of the Lakes adds to the mystery of this business. So much joy as the staff move around and serve the guests. Only laughing and loving moments are being shared. I wish you could see and feel the vibes. Find something as this type of establishment is and then share that experience with the one you will always have. Remember you start and it's never too early nor late. It's just perfect take all the time that you need. No rush, there's no reason for this. Enjoy the ride you might miss something if you start too early or fast. After the meal make sure and have dessert, it's Italian and they do up a little nice strawberries tart; pairs perfectly with a cappuccino that is just delightful. The cappuccino here is something that's served in an Italian cafe, made and steamed to perfection. So rich and frothy, over flowing with the spillage of espresso. Can you feel what the smells are doing to my senses? The buzz of the cappuccino so intoxicating, made with sick care. Absolutely breathtaking! As the meal comes to a close, the restaurant comes to life around seven in the evening. Right close to the lake, take the one out that means so much to you tonight. Don't be afraid to ask questions of the waiter? The menu at some places is in Italian snd these gents and ladies here are always happy to aid your every whim snd desire. Each and every moment of life we are dying; get out and laugh a little. Make some memories together that you can look back and go; that's where it all began!

Yelp
Luna Rossa is a family-owned Italian eatery in the village at Lake Las Vegas. We dined here last Mother's Day and I've been looking forward to a return visit ever since. At that time, they were only taking walk-ins and no reservations. As one can imagine, crowds of people buzzing around with their mama's. Lake Las Vegas is quite a gem in this city, a stark contrast from the overstimulation one can receive on The Strip. Fortunately, our wait was only about 15 minutes and we ended up scoring a table outside with a wonderful view of the lake. Decided to feast on your classic, thin crust pepperoni pizza, and washed it down with an iced cold glass of Sangria. Just what the doctor ordered for the warm weather in the city of Henderson. Our server was quick and courteous. What made it extra special was the live musician just a few feet away - so romantic! Salute!!

Princess P.

Yelp
First time here and all I can say was their food is amazing, delicious! You can tell the freshness on every ingredients, the service is fast and their location is clean and well managed.

Plumeria F.

Yelp
This fine establishment is located in the Lake Las Vegas area. We love this place as it never disappoints. We love the ambiance, makes us feel like we are in Italy for a few hours. Many of the staff are Italian, speak Italian. Sometimes they have LIVE music. In fact, one of the servers serenaded us acapella :-) Thank you! We really enjoyed our meals! We started with a few appetizers:Caesar salad, and one of their chartreuse platter specials. His New York steak and mushroom sauce was excellent. My salmon was fluffy, though nicely grilled all around. The Vegetables cooked just right, not too tender, not too al dente. My 6 year old was very happy with spaghetti and strawberry gelato. Pretty much her favorite foods on earth and they did it right! The Spumoni was so YUMMY and I was especially pleased with the cappuccino, Seriously. Go! I recommend the drive out!

Yelp
This is by far the best and most authentic Italian restaurant I've been too. I highly recommend the GNOCCHI DI POMODORI SECCHI E PROSCIUTTO. It's creamy and not over powering of flavor

Yelp
At 8:20pm, Saturday night, I asked for a table of one. I was told by the hostess the restaurant was closed. Their website shows their hours closing at 10pm on Saturday. She gave no explanation as to why they were closed. DONT waste your time and gas money driving all the way out to LLV, just not to find the restaurant is closed. Ridiculous!

Yelp
Excellent food. You have to make reservations on Holidays. They were so busy inside and outside seating

Yelp
The restaurant closes at 10. Turned us away at 8:50. Bunch of people still in there at the bar and at the tables.

Yelp
I do not review places very often, but Luna Rossa has by far some of the WORST customer service I've ever experienced. I'd give no stars if that was an option. We've stayed at the Westin at Lake Las Vegas dozens of times and usually eat dinner out at the Village. Oftentimes, we try to go to Sonrisa Grill first, but they always have very long lines. As a result, we default to going to Luna Rossa, and we have NEVER had a good experience there (plus the food is mediocre at best). However, this past visit was exceptionally terrible. I have several food allergies (one is gluten) and asked the hostess before we sat if they could accommodate gluten-free. She said yes, so we decided to try Luna Rossa one more time. When I told the waiter about my allergies, he seemed extraordinarily annoyed with me. He said he would accommodate, however. Then once my food arrived (after waiting about 45 minutes), it was completely wrong and I could not eat it. I politely told the waiter the dish was not what I ordered and I could not eat it because of my allergies. He then slammed the plate down, said this is Italian food and walked away. I cannot help that I have allergies and the hostess said they could accommodate! The staff at Luna Rossa is extremely pompous and rude. The waiters act like we are inconveniencing them if you ask for another drink or literally anything else after you initially order. The food is no better than Olive Garden. But, they know people don't have many choices at Lake Las Vegas and simply DO NOT CARE. Plus, they get extra annoyed if you have kids. If you're eating at the Village, do yourself a favor and just wait the 20-30 minutes to eat at Sonrisa Grill (or try one of the other restaurants). The staff is nice, the food is good, and you'll end up waiting longer to eat in the long run at Luna Rossa while dealing with rude staff and expensive prices.

Yelp
This place is so cute! It's located in Lake Las Vegas, and it's worth a visit if you like Italian food. Most of us ordered the lobster ravioli, and it was really good. The shrimps were cooked to perfection! The strawberry martini isn't too strong, but it is very sweet.

Yelp
We came by at 4pm on a Wednesday afternoon to enjoy the weather and sit outside. We wanted some coffee and maybe a dessert. We sat down and ordered lattes. When the server asked us our food order we politely said we were just going to get coffees! They were NOT busy by any means. The server told us "you can't do that, this isn't a coffee shop" and went go get our bill... awkward and so unwelcoming. We won't be back unfortunately.

Yelp
We had a wonderful lunch with the very attentive staff at Luna Rossa to the point we came back for dinner. Lobster ravioli were fresh and in a very nice sauce, almost a vodka sauce. Saved the bread to the end and swabbed up the remaking amsauce at the end. The gnocchi with spinach and prosciutto was very good but I preferred the ravioli. Always enjoy fresh made ravioli with a good sauce. The staff was attentive and I may be very biased, but all were old enough to remember how high quality restaurants use to be. Good service like you would see in St Louis on the hill. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Yelp
Worst service ever was Left on the phone for 15 minutes to be hung up on. Called back and was not greeted, instead they placed the phone on the counter. No one ever came back to the phone. Never in my life have I ever seen such rude service. Almost went down to speak with the owner but decided what good would that do. I like their lasagna but you won't ever see me back there. So ride and unprofessional!!!
