M Cafe La Brea Pop-up Kitchen

I have been delightfully surprised by this cafe. It is delicious. There is an art even to the simplest things. So far I have had the albacore tuna sandwich which was the perfect amount of tuna, lettuce and tomato on the perfect multigrain bread toasted just right. The fries are some of the best fries I have had in a while. The other thing I've tried is the panko crusted rockfish sandwich. My god is this good. Again, from the bun, to the slaw, to the fried fish the proportions are perfect, making for a delightful experience. Their ingredients are fresh and they have taken the time to only use the healthiest of ingredients in their items and you can tell. M Cafe, I am sorry to hear that after 20 years you had to change your location, but with that said I am so happy to have stumbled upon you in my neighborhood. They are located currently as a pop up in an antique store which is insane bc the food is so good you would not know unless you try it.

Glad you're back but def had a subpar order today. Chopped salad really anemic for price and you REALLY, REALLY need to cut holes in your fry delivery box to keep the fries crisp. Totally soggy mess. Ketchup still great, though. Bottle it again!

I am so happy that MCafe is back !!! We've picked up twice now and it's just as good as it was when it was in its original location. I want this place to explode again so they can bring back more menu items (cough cough, strawberry shortcake, cough cough)

I used to go to M Cafe several times a week and when they closed, was SOOO devastated. Absolutely love the crispy fish sandwich and their probiotic slaws. I hope they succeed. Really rooting for this place!
