MacHenry's Meat & Three

Excellent meat & 3 I had never heard of until today. The chicken fingers, brussells, mac&cheese and corn pudding were all of great quality. Friendly staff who welcomed me very well. Parking is easy, plenty of different menu items to try. I plan to grab some banana pudding next time!

Excellent. Comfort food presented in a fun way with obvious care taken to the ingredients. We were driving thru Nashville and it was also a easy road trip stop. My son asked me to save the location so we could return.

Really good food that tasted homemade and fresh. I ended up getting the roasted green beans, the broccoli salad and the burnt ends - all of which were so scrumptious. Highly recommend this place if you're hungry for some southern food.

My first time here and it was ok. The setup and presentation was good. Thanks for being eco-friendly with the togo containers and paper straws. Great customer service. I was floored by the pricing of a meat and 3, around $15 so I settled on meat and 1 for $9. The food was filling but wouldn't be a restaurant I broke my neck to go to. I ordered meatloaf with mac n cheese. The meatloaf was good portion, tasted smoked or bbq flavor but not much passed that. The mac n cheese was cheesy and baked. Cornbread was ok, flat with peppers or jalapeños in it as well. The sweet tea was definitely sweet for my taste, kudos there. I would eat here again but it wouldn't be first on my list. The hours are only lunch time so go before 2pm if you want to try a meal.

10/10 place. Everything was so good and delicious. So much flavor and cooked to perfection. The only thing I will say is that they have a small parking lot. If you’re looking to get their food and aren’t able to dine in they do have a drive through. Went today got meat & 2 Meat loaf fried Brussels and broccoli casserole. Meat loaf is tasty a little salty Same with Brussels broccoli casserole is super yummy Good customer service Only card! They do not accept cash I will return to try the fish

I had the pot roast with green beans and iced tea. Nice presentation for drive-thru food. quality is good. A little salty and the green beans were cool. I will go back and try it again.

Awesome lunch! Super clean, the owner was welcoming. Being a cook I am skeptical at meat and 3. But this was outstanding. All veggies fresh. My husband got the meatloaf. He really enjoyed it. I got catfish which was delicious. This will be our new go to when we are in town.

Fresh and very tasty with fast amd friendly people. Ive enjoyed absolutely everything ive ever ordered here. The sweets are great too. I also enjoyed their fruit tea and the lemonade! Jus go youll love it.

We were looking for something different and found this place super close to my husband's work. Noticed right off that they have a drive through so made a mental note for future lunch dates. My husband had meat plus 2....meatloaf, mash potatoes and side salad. I had meat plus 1.....catfish and side salad. Both meats were very tasty. My tarter sauce was homemade and I loved it! The girl taking our order was very friendly and our order came out quick. You order at the counter and wait for your name to be called. I noticed to elderly men come in, place their order and take a seat. I thought it was cool that their food was brought to them. The food comes out on trays. My husband said it reminded him of the cafeteria in public school. We will def be back. I want to try other side options and oh I must get the banana pudding :)

MacHenry's is the new kid on the block just southeast of downtown in a former Jack in the Box across from Metro Police Headquarters. Certainly Nashville is a city replete with meat-and-three joints, some forgettable, some good, and some great. MacHenry is going to become one of the more competitive such establishments in the area with high quality, down-home cookin' from scratch. I've tried several meat options there including a roast pork loin with marvelous seasoning, juicy and tender in a light gravy. The catfish is a huge filet with beautiful crispy batter, although I hoped the actual fish had been a bit flakier. The two side dishes I've sampled were amazing. The fried Brussels sprouts with seasoning are perhaps the best in the city of Nashville, and I don't even like Brussels sprouts! They just left everyone at the table stunned! The mac and cheese is incredible, a far cry from the fake cheese sauce poured over shells that many restaurants attempt to get away with. This is real, melted, slightly crispy cheddar cheese over quality pasta were talking about! Everything here is homemade and the freshness shows. And the honey butter rolls are simply impeccable. Customer service here is fantastic as the owners make you feel very welcome and taken care of. I highly recommend a stop at MacHenry's Meat & Three!

Hands down this restaurant gets 5 *'s from me! Definitely one of the best in Nashville. The food is delicious. I had the chicken and dressing, collard greens, Mac & Cheese and corn pudding. All of it was delicious! I also had the banana pudding for dessert and it did not disappoint. Not only was the food good but we got our food to go and the presentation / packaging was so thoughtfully done. It was what I would expect for a corporate event. If you're looking for good southern homestyle cooking, look no further. Your taste buds will thank you!

Wow! I'm normally not a meat and three guy but they are going to be a regular spot for me! Meatloaf had good flavor but was a bit soft for my liking but that was the only down side. The fried brussel sprouts were so incredible, the mashed potatoes homemade and perfect with a little lump to them and the squash casserole is as good as I've had. Can't wait to try more of their sides (but only 2 at a time because my 3rd will always be those brussel sprouts).

Machenrys continues to make improvements To their restaurant they have added self serve Drinks which allows people to get refills at their Choosing they have moved to wood silverware So no dishwasher has to do it now they still have To wash the trays I see paper trays coming soon Their good is still huge and gourmet style So that's always a treat and their homemade banana pudding still grabs my attention now if We can get them to extend their hours for the Dinner crowd

Had mashed potatoes and gravy. Yuck! Gravy was coagulated on top of potatoes. And how can you ruin mashed potatoes? They didn't even taste good. The meatloaf was practically burnt and tough. My friend let me taste her fish and it was decent. The mac cheese looked good. I will never go back.

Fast food done right. They fries were different in a really good way. Very pleased with every food item I've had. The restaurant was clean and the staff was helpful.

The baked chicken was really good. I didn't really like the macaroni but my husband said that was because I don't like dry macaroni and cheese. The fish was good. Didn't like the fries I think it was the seasoning. Super fast and friendly service.

Let me start off by saying, when you're having a rough start to the day a solid meal can help steer things right. To that, I must say THANK YOU MacHenry's. I don't know if you have a dining location, that maybe closed, but I look forward to opening my wallet to you on a very regular basis. Today, I ordered their Pork Tenderloin, with mashed potatoes and Mac and Cheese. I also saw they had a Mashed Potato Bowl, with an option to add Meatloaf on top, I figured "might as well, I'm not going anywhere anytime soon" but who is these days. The Pork Tenderloin was richly aromatic, and delicious. After my first bite from my fork, I resorted to picking up the slice and eating it with my hands like a barbarian. My wife laughed at me as the drool and gravy was dripping off my face. Every item that I had was very heavily considered, and fresh. If the food was any hotter, I would have thought I was in the kitchen eating off the stove. MacHenry's, I'm proud to be your first review, and I can promise you one single thing. You won't see the last of me

As good as Arnold's, everything tastes excellent and I've been multiple times! Fair price as your meal includes a drink. Love the corn pudding, meatloaf, broccoli casserole and mac&cheese. Easy parking, very friendly staff - love supporting local!

MacHenry's is an absolute treasure. It's quality, it's quick, it's inexpensive, it's (depending on what you order) healthy, and it's delicious (like DELICIOUS delicious). Although I've never been to the physical location, I now get it delivered once or twice a week. I used to get Arnold's delivered, but I'm Team MacHenry's these days. Did I mention it's delicious? Ya'll.

I had pot roast macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, corn pudding and the chess pie. Food overall was good. Could have used a bigger meat portion and my pie was old.

Picked up lunch for our office, wanted the roasted turkey which was listed on their website menu! Was told it wasn't available anymore so ordered the chicken drumstick, mashed potatoes w/gravy and green beans! Our office is less than 2 miles away! Opened the box, the green beans were greasy and cold, as were the mashed potatoes and the gravy tasted like it came from a can. The worst part was when I bit into the drumstick and discovered it was cold and raw! URGH! Will never order from there again!

It was by sheer luck that I found this gem driving into town. What a find!!! I had no idea that they took the old Jack In the Box at Foster and Murfreesboro and turned it into a great place for all your Southern classics. I spent $16 (including tip) for a "Meat and Three". I had the classic Meatloaf with Mac and Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, and Mixed Greens with Tomatoes. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and overall I was very happy I stopped in. Do I feel as if I got my money's worth? Close, I'd say. Much closer than other places I've been to. The sides were of adequate portion size in relation to the price, I do wish the meatloaf slice was larger, and overall, I'd say that was closer to a $10-12 meal than the $16 that I paid, however, when you factor in labor and tip, it's not that far off. As for the taste, the tomatoes in the Mixed Greens were a bit overpowering, so if you're not a big tomato person when it comes to your greens, do pick one of the many other options on their menu. The meatloaf was excellent, just make the slices larger (by an inch or so) and it would be perfect. The Mac and Cheese and Mashed Potatoes with Gravy were quite nice as well, as was the huge honey butter roll. Oh, and the Arnold Palmer drink was so amazing, they could easily survive in business on that BY ITSELF!!! By the way, Emily at the front desk/register was as sweet as apple pie and that meant more than the great food itself!!! So that's my take on MacHenry's, a gem that I was all to happy to find, and I definitely will be back for more!!!

Had lunch yesterday at MacHenry's and it was delicious! Best meat loaf I have ever tasted. Brussel sprouts were amazing and apples were yummy. The honey roll was also a nice surprise. Upscale meat and three. i will definitely be back. Hats off to Chef Stephen!

Love this place. Had a small hiccup one day but they cared for me well. I love the drive through meat and 3 style. That's unique to me. All of the food I have ordered is so tasty. My favs so far: Chicken tenders Mac and cheese Mashed potatoes

MacHenry's is my absolute favorite restaurant for a quick bite for lunch. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Staff are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can't wait to return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to grab lunch in Nashville! The ease of ordering and pick up is one of my favorite things! Whether you run through the drive-thru, brought curbside or dine in the dining room, the service and food quality remains consistent!

Outstanding food and great service! They are doing it right. Had the bbq meatloaf with a corn cob and mashed potatoes. Wow!
