I was really excited to try this! I loved the whole quesadilla concept. The place was clean, plenty of seating and the cashier was a sweet lady who took every order with a smile! The food was really good, but there was a little something missing for my taste. It wasn't bad or anything just needed a lil more ooomth. The prices were my favorite, I ordered my meal and ordered to go for a fairly decent price. I still want to go back and try perhaps another meat.

I was extremely excited by the quesa birria tacos presentation.. but the taste was disappointing. No real flavor, definitely will not return. The bathroom was out of service and out of soap. Not sure how they wash their hands. The prices are extremely high and definitely not worth it. Don’t go here.

I definitely don’t recommend this place. The restaurant looks bad inside and outside. The food is eatable but not really good. Besides I ordered two different meats and they only gave me one. It had to be to go because they we closing. They only gave me one sour cream for a big machete(quesadilla) lol. Not coming back.

Oh yea.. loved the music, service, really clean place and most of all the food was so good ... I loved my vegetarian matchete😋 and steak, beans and cheese matchete quesadillas 🤤... Prices weren't bad at all either... Great place to eat.

This place is insane with their quesadillas! Hands down! The best quesadilla in CHICAGO. I decided to go with the machete half steak and half pig leg meat. They have a station where you can add salsa and the condiments. Will be coming back to try the rest of their meats.

Really bad experience with the girl serving. She brough part the food and no salsa, no silverware and no napkins. I got up twice and had to ask for them and I end up bringing to our table the missing machete jr. She finally got the consome, salsas and the silverware when we were almost done. On top of it when we paid she said service fee was automatically charge due to partie been more than 4. NEVER GOING BACK. I also notice how nice she was with a couple next to us to them she got all the staff right away, silvare ware salsas even before they got their food and it looks like they know her.

On the way to drop off a friend at O'Hare Airport we decided to stop at the closest place to eat. The place we stopped was Machetes. Machetes are basically quesadillas made with corn tortillas but they are fused together to make a very long one which is about the size of a machete. Hence the name. I had the birria machete junior which was the size of a regular quesadilla and boy it was so good. My friend had the regular carne asada machete which was enough food for two people and she also enjoyed it. The service was great and the workers there were very friendly. The restaurant was clean but drab in decor. The place is easy to miss since it's small and their sign is blocked by fencing from the property next to it. When I missed it I had to loop around the block to get back to it. If I'm ever around that way again I will definitely drop by.
