Machi Machi

There's not much Machi Machi in Asia anymore, so I was surprised when I found this bubble tea shop in Koreatown, NYC. It's been in my list, but haven't tried it yet in Asia. Finally, I could find this first Machi Machi in the US. In here, this global franchise bubble tea shop from Taiwan not only sells the drinks, but some snacks as well. So, it's more suitable for to go. Firstly, we need to do the self order and payment kiosk through the machine, after that, just wait until our drink is ready. Machi Machi serves variant of fresh tea, milk tea, cream cheese foam, latte, and fresh fruits category. For the drinks here, we could choose the sugar level. Here are what we tried : Strawberry Latte with Panna Cotta ($8.45) This is one of Machi's favorite. This drink can be served in a bottle. The fresh and not sour strawberry latte is served with the panna cotta in the bottom. Shizuoka Matcha Milk Tea with Panna Cotta ($8.45) This one can be served in a bottle, too. The creamy and thick matcha is served with the panna cotta. For both of the drink above, we ordered with regular sugar, but they taste less sweet. Recommended refreshing drink to have! It's suitable for the dessert as well 😄

We went there for the first time . We took the hot chocolate cream brule tea. It was not out of the world and also expensive. Boba were delicious by themselves. However, out of curiosity we took a mochi donut. Server was so nice, helped me chose one. It was definitely expensive but so delicious. 100 times better than normal donut. Will go there again.

They offer some very unique add ons - I really like the creme brulee top and the jam topping. The matcha milk tea was a really nice flavor, with a good balance of bitter and sweet. Unfortunately, the regular milk tea did not have much of a black tea flavor, and only the milk came through. I personally like a stronger black/Assam tea flavor, even if it's just a powder instead of a brewed tea. The attention and love is put into the other aspects of the boba drink.

this drink genuinely did something to me idk my life has been brightened and I am enlightened. I waited for the ice to melt to consume its watery remains- every last taro ball and square millimeter of chocolate in the water. And then I sipped on the straw to taste a semblance of flavor that remained in the air Machi Machi chocolate creme brulee tea combines my favorite dessert flavors, black tea and chocolate. I got it with mini taro balls and lite sugar because too sweet makes it impossible to appreciate the depth and different notes of flavor! No drink before this one has made me want to lick the remaining ice. Yes unforch it was $10 but I enjoyed every second of this experience and will be back for more

Well, the bubble tea is awesome. But I just don’t understand why they ask for tips? And please be aware there is hidden charge called transaction fee at this place. So when you make order, please consider that. If you don’t have a US phone number then you will need to wait at the counter for your order as they don’t have a screen to advise when your order is ready.

This place is really cute! They have lots of fun flavors to choose from and I really do like their bottles. Only thing is it’s kind of a long wait time.

This place gets crowded after 7 pm and queue is formed. Sweets are good but costly.

Cute bubble tea for sure, but definitely overpriced and inconvenient waiting experience. I was able to easily order through a kiosk but fair warning that my drink which came in the cute bottle did not allow me to adjust any sugar or ice levels nor change toppings and cost nearly $10 for a single drink. I inputted my number while placing the order, and waited around expecting to get a text once it was ready. But as I saw through the pick up window, there was a long queue of drinks that had not been claimed. After around 10 mins of waiting, someone else walked to the window to ask for their drink and when everyone else waiting saw, they realized their number wouldn’t be called and that they had to go up and get their drink directly. I grabbed my drink, and 10 mins after leaving the store I got a text finally saying my order was ready for pick up. At least my drink was delicious and fruity, just as expected.

I had dinner with friends, and since we were in Koreatown, I knew I had to revisit this spot. Tanghulu has been all over social media, and the last time I tried it here, it was fantastic. They have a self-service kiosk where you can place and pay for your order, and within minutes, it's ready. I went for the strawberry tanghulu again, and it did not disappoint. The candy coating was perfectly crisp, and the sweetness was just right--such a satisfying treat to end the night. My only gripe was that the strawberries were ridiculously large, which made me wonder if they were unnaturally grown. That aside, it was still an amazing dessert experience. Definitely worth trying if you're in the area!

The corn dogs here are delicious and they have a lot of options for food. I do wish they had a bit of seating but overall the food and spot are nice and it's a cute grab and go spot!

This is my favorite boba shop in the city!! It's so cute and the drinks are so good! In terms of service, you are able to place an order online and/or through ordering machines when you walk in. There isn't a seating area inside the shop, so it's pretty much grab and go. The lines are always long, so I suggest ordering ahead! The drinks are amazing - there are a lot of customization options. You can customize the sugar, which to me is really important. My favorite is the matcha milk tea with panna cotta - it's creamy and flavorful, but doesn't feel too filling after you drink it. 10/10 suggest coming here!!

4 stars. In the midst of dozens upon dozens of boba shops, its hard to standout. Machi Machi has a fair amount of creative drinks and one of their novelties is their unique bottles. My drink costed around $10 and honestly the portion wasn't that large. I was a little bit disappointed that the bottle was plastic, but it's still a cute design and you can reuse it afterwards. The tea quality of my drink wasn't exceptional in any way but the panna cotta added a nice sweetness and texture to the drink. I wish they gave more drink for how much I'm paying, but it was still a nice drink to sip on.

I'm not sure why this place has such a low rating - this is a solid bubble tea option in Ktown with interesting and creative drinks. There isn't really any seating; you order at the kiosks and then grab and go. There's also a korean corn dog and tanghulu stall in the building. I've gotten their jasmine green tea with plum jelly (refreshing and delicious but definitely a little too sweet - I don't think I could adjust the sugar level on this one); the jasmine milk tea with panna cotta (the panna cotta was a nice surprise: it's subtly sweet and milky and isn't hard to slurp up with the straw); and the mango pomelo drink with jelly (also good but fixed sugar amount so on the sweeter side). Their non-boba drinks come in cute bottles as well with screw on tops. Drinks are definitely pricey though, and it can get really crowded inside but overall I think this is a great spot.

I usually visit Machi Machi when I visit Koreatown. Definitely a worth a visit if you're in the area. The wait can be a bit long when the place is crowded and it's typically pretty crowded. There's also a mochi donut shop next to this location, which is nice when you're waiting for your order. I usually just get their panna cotta. I've tried both their Matcha Panna Cotta and Strawberry Latte Panna Cotta. Tbh, I didn't really like their Matcha Panna Cotta since it was pretty bitter. It just didn't seem high quality and was lowkey kind of bland. Would not get that again. I recommend their Strawberry Latte Panna Cotta since that is decent. The strawberry one is kinda grainy with seeds (which I don't mind) and I love the panna cotta bits at the end. Overall though, I would say it's definitely more for the aesthetic rather for actual high quality boba. Expensive and IMO, not worth it. Drinks are pretty average. What you're really paying for is for the unique bottle.

Machi Machi, a Taipei-born tea shop, has locations all over the world. Machi Machi's first United States location is in NYC located in 33 W 32nd Street and shares space with Jongro Rice Hotdog, Tanghulu, and Mochi Mochi Donut. When you walk in, there are 3 chairs on the left against the wall and self checkout kiosks on the right to use and order. Machi Machi is famous for its fresh teas, cream cheese foam, and milk teas. I ordered a Shizuoka Matcha Milk Tea with Panna Cotta. The ice level was fixed, but you can adjust the sugar levels. I waited about 15 minutes for my order to be ready. I think it'll be a better system to have the order number displayed instead of saying the order number at the pickup window. This would give you the flexibility to order from the other places down the hallway and roam around in the space. The Shizuoka Matcha Milk Tea with Panna Cotta comes in a special Machi Machi bottle. I never had panna cotta with matcha and it was a wonderful combination. The matcha was high quality and complemented the creamy sweetness of the panna cotta. I enjoyed every sip. The price was a bit steep ($9.21 includes tax), but I think it is worth a try.

Scooped a taro panna cotta before jumping on the train. Yes it's a weird shared space and you can't hear your order number but I LOVED the packaging and the panna cotta was sweet and soft!

I was suggested to try this place and it was OK. The drink did taste really well. I ordered the brown sugar latte Boba and I think it would've been a little better if the cup was aligned with the brown sugar syrup. Unfortunately, by the time I got my drink back after a five minute walk, all of my syrup was at the bottom and it was kind of hard to shake it. However, their bobas were very good, I would definitely give them a try again and maybe try their drinks right away. Oh and for whatever reason I ordered one drink and I got one for free so that was a plus. Please note that this place is card only and you have to order on the kiosk.

Surprisingly good given the relatively low rating! Make sure that you order from the right kiosk/don't wait in the wrong line; the line for the tang hu lu is always super long, and it's very easy to get the two lines confused. We got a jasmine green tea, and the tea flavor was quite potent. The pearls also had a good bounce to them. It did taste a bit watered down though. Overall, happy that we discovered this place! Will definitely be back when craving boba!

Pretty good place! I was in Koreatown walking around and my friend told me to come visit this place for their drinks. It's a small store and you order through a kiosk. I ended up getting the Strawberry Latte w/ Panna Cotta and I appreciated the decadency and fruitiness of the drink. The panna cotta definitely gave the drink it's creamier, denser texture and I thought that combination was really good. I appreciated that they used real strawberries for this and you can really taste it too. I genuinely enjoyed this drink and I would get it again. When I'm back in New York, this will be my stop to come back to in Koreatown! But I would definitely get the strawberry latte if you're here.

One of my favorite places in k-town for their cute panna cotta bottled drinks. It's a small, grab and go place that's also conjoined with another Korean corn dog shop and a mochi donuts shop. Once you enter, you'll need to order at one of the three kiosks located on the right side of the establishment. After entering your phone number, you'll receive a text notification when your drink is ready. Note that there are multiple kiosks, including one outside (which I believe is specifically for the corn dog shop.) (if you see lines form on busy days, make sure you're on the correct line). Service tends to be faster on weekdays, while weekends are typically busier. I recently tried their new, limited-time corn milk tea and absolutely loved the concept and presentation. They were generous with the corn and cream, defs a must-try if you're a fan of sweet, creamy corn with a subtle tea flavor, or if you're simply looking to try something new. Another thing to note is that this drink feels more lukewarm than hot after being mixed with the colder corn cream. Highly recommend their panna cotta drinks (especially the classic milk tea version) - don't forget to break up the panna cotta before drinking.

Came here craving a drink while in Koreatown. As I looked through the menu in one of the kiosks, I noticed how incredibly expensive a lot of the drinks were. The cheapest one was the Handmade Brown Sugar Latte, which was around six dollars, while everything else was at seven or eight There was no seating, but the service was relatively quick. There's a window that separates you and the barista, and you'll be able to get the drink from them there. The aesthetic of the place was alright, with dark wood and three chairs that worked well as backdrops for taking photos of your drink. The Handmade Brown Sugar Latte itself was okay, but I don't know if it was worth six dollars. The flavor itself wasn't really too strong, and overall it was a bit lackluster. I don't know how their desserts are, but I'm hoping those are better than their drinks.

Tried the seasonal Corn Black Milk Tea! It was delicious and had a piece of torched corn on top! It was priced very steeply at $8.95 per cup. The drink itself was good though. The black milk tea was very fresh and fragrant. There were corn chunks in the cream top, and it was so fun! The drink is also served warm, so it was perfect for a chilly winter day. The store itself had three stands. Machi Machi was the first one, and there were Korean corn dog and tanghulu shops further in the back. Everything is ordered on a kiosk, so very convenient and easy. There was no seating inside though, so not very ideal to sip, snack, and chat here for a prolonged period of time.

If you're a boba/milk tea aficionado then Machi Machi is a must-try. I initially came across Machi Machi whilst searching for boba in the area. I bookmarked them so hard. I was lured in by the aesthetically pleasing drinks in a rectangular bottle. I was most intrigued by the 2 toned drink which had panna cotta on the bottom. Milk tea and panna cotta sounded like a pretty delicious combo. I made my way here on a cold Tuesday afternoon and the shop wasn't busy at all. The shop looks pretty minimalist-esque with 3 floating chairs and art on the wall. There's also a few other grab and go shops towards the back where you can get korean hot dogs and other small bites. They're not a place to sip and chill, but more so grab and gtfo. The oversized paper menu is located next to the pick up window. They have a good selection of drinks such as fresh tea, milk tea, fresh fruit teas and teas with cheese. There's a screen showcasing the popular drinks and what they look like, which is helpful if you're indecisive. Not all drinks come in the reusable bottle so you'll have to look for the small icon on the menu that indicates if it'll be included. I ordered from one of the three kiosks, since no human was available to provide service. I went with a simple black milk tea with panna cotta and hot damn it was expensive. I think this is the most expensive drink I've bought. I believe I paid almost $10 for this drink. I for damn sure was going to reuse the crap out of the rectangular bottle. Anyways, the wait time for the drink was a tad bit long, especially since there was 3 people ahead of me. Once my order was up, the guy wiped down the bottle and asked if I wanted a carrying bag, which I gleefully accepted. The bag had their logo and sprinkle detailing all over it. I reused it, too. I wasn't able to drink the tea the same day because I had already bought boba from a different place and needed to finish it first (Biao Sugar a block down from Machi, lol). I took a straw to it the following day and I was impressed by the milk tea taste and the smoothness of the panna cotta. I could taste the tea in the milk and the panna cotta complimented it nicely. It wasn't too sweet nor too bland. The panna cotta was creamy and easily sipped up into the straw. I made sure to get every piece of cotta out of the bottle and get every drop of the milk tea. It was a pretty good treat to enjoy on my way to the port of airs. Overall, I enjoyed my drink and I appreciate my bottle, though it can be a challenge to clean. The quality of the drink was top draw and the most costly I've had. If I come across another location, I'll of course have to stop on by to try other teas. Machi Machi would make a great addition in the Bay Area, though already saturated with boba places they would stand out a bit from the crowd.

This location is really aesthetic to get a quick picture, but there is no seating so it is grab-and-go only. The teas are served in opaque cups which was little strange, almost everywhere uses clear cups. There are self-serve kiosks to order or you can order at the counter. There are a lot of different types of items on the menu from teas to smoothies, but there is not much of each actual item to choose. For example, there was no option for a matcha tea. Service was definitely slow despite there being 4 people behind the counter. It took more than 10 minutes for a fresh tea with boba to be made. There are 4 different sugar levels you can choose from and different ice levels. The price ($7.30) was on the higher end but around what is to be expected in the heart of Koreatown and near Herald Square/Penn Station.

I came to Machi Machi on thanksgiving day around 8:30pm and it was busy since it was one of the few places that were open. (Heavily trafficked since there's another store with Machi Machi) I waited less than 30 minutes to get my order. It was just the line for the kiosk was long. They sent me a text message to let me know when my drink was ready, it was easy and simple! I really enjoyed the matcha strawberry cream cheese! Maybe I would have gotten less ice but I enjoyed this regardless. The matcha was strong and the strawberry cream cheese tasted like yogurt. I didn't mix the flavors together and I enjoy it that way! I rated it 4/5 because the prices were on the more expensive side because my drink was $9.75.

Such yummy drinks here but definitely on the pricey side! My favorites so far are the Strawberry Panna Cotta and Black Tea Creme Brulee (which we added taro balls to). I love milk tea but don't like tapioca balls so this was a great alternative with adding taro or the panna cotta at the bottom, which adds a different texture to the drink :) The large creme brulee drink was $13 though, so not sure if it's worth the price but definitely delicious!

Pretty decent and aestethic drinks! Not a bad option if you're in Koreatown. I recommend the Strawberry Latte with Panna Cotta! This is a non-caffeinated drink that is creamy and decadent. They use real strawberry in it too! Good quality drink. Even my boyfriend - who isn't a big boba drinker - loves this! I also tried the Black Milk Tea with Panna Cotta. This drink was just okay to me. The black tea was pretty strong and the bitterness didn't match the creamy panna cotta very much. Definitely get it with the strawberry latte instead.

My colleague who's from Taipei said this is a popular chain there, so of course I had to check it out! I ordered the grapefruit green tea with grapefruit jelly ($8.45) and she ordered the mango cream smoothie with jelly pearl and grapefruit jelly ($9.45). These drinks were rather small in size and shaped like a whisky flask. It's very unique in that the jelly is formed at the bottom of the bottle and is rather firm there. The drink rests on top of the jelly and you have to poke it with your boba straw to penetrate through the barrier. It's such a refreshing drink! Expensive, but so worth it! They share a space with a Korean corn dog place so the pick-up counter can be a bit congested when it's busy. You order and pay at one of the 3 kiosks and pick up your drink at the counter when your number is called. The "I love you so machi" neon light is cute, but aside from that, the walls were pretty barren. There's only one small bench and no tables. This is not a place where you can sit to enjoy your drink.

the food was really good and we loveddd the cheese dog so much!! the fruit was also really good but the donuts were def the best!! the wait wasn't long at all and we got our stuff fast! they have different screens to order on for each thing so it's super easyy

I still love it even tho it's a bit pricy, the wait wasn't too bad, but there wasn't enough room indoor, we had to wait from the outside for like 10mins before we were able to find a corner indoor to wait. Brulee was my favorite, totally worth the calories, haha!

What drew me to come inside was that they have kiosks to self-order. However, I was really in shock that a regular milk tea was $8?! With all the boba shops around I thought it had to be something special... it was not. I definitely regretted my purchase as I could've gotten a boba from Kung Fu tea for $3 less. If you're willing to pay for the convenience and not wait in a line to order, I'd recommend stopping here. If you'd rather boba for less money, I'd go elsewhere in KTown.

The corn black milk tea is pretty good but is definitely filling! I honestly liked the bits of corn, especially with boba, but if you're planning on trying this drink, I'd save room in your stomach for it. Would I order it again? Probably not, unless I was craving a savory dessert. There is a bit of a wait after you place your order, but the wait isn't too unreasonable. (I'd say 10-15 minutes the last time I visited.) There's no room to eat/drink indoors, but there's an shaded area outside.

At first, I was unsure about the idea of mixing panna cotta and a fruit drink, but it tasted so good! I would come back to try the other flavors mixed with panna cotta. A bonus is that the bottle design is so adorable!

First time trying their product after seeing so many pictures of their bottle on social media. I tried their seasonal special, the Mango Cream Smoothie with Jelly Pearl and Grapefruit Jelly, and it was really good! I don't like cream cheese in my drinks but wanted to try the original recipe without adjusting anything. You have to stir the drink and without any space, adding in the straw, you have to take a quick sip so that things don't overflow as you try to stir it. The bottom is a solid jelly so you have to really mix and stab the jelly at the bottom. It's good and all but I don't think this was worth the price of almost $10 for the drink. With that price, you'd think the bottle was made of glass but it's plastic... I've gone to places that sold their drinks in bottle for about $7-9 and at least that was glass.

~ Strawberry Latte w/ Panna Cotta ~ The Strawberry Latte has a smoothie like consistency, quite creamy but not heavy, as it is not too sweet (Huge + important compliments from Asians!) There are even some strawberry bits. The Panna Cotta have a weak milk flavour, people who love milk may felt it underwhelming, but I for one enjoyed it because I am not a big fan of the milk taste. ~ Grapefruit Green Tea Slush w/ Grapefruit Jelly ~ The grapefruit green tea slush is not too sour, not too sweet, and the hint of green tea gives it an additional refreshing note. The crunchy slush paired with grapefruit bits (when you bite into it the grapefruit flavour explodes into your mouth) and the bouncy grapefruit jelly is a great combination of different textures. Will I be back? Yes Although prices are at the higher end, but they tasted fresh with great flavours and textures. Drinks are well designed in cute little bottles, which we took home so we can reuse them. Will be back to try their other drinks!

Finally got to try this place after seeing it on Pinterest all these years! The drinks were pretty good and there were a lot to choose from. The tea was good and refreshing. We went around 6/7 ish and there wasn't really a wait or line. We ordered at the self order kiosk. The only down side is there are no bathrooms at the place and there wasn't really any space to sit inside. There was maybe 1 table and limited seating. The space was pretty cramped. There's some other food "stands" next to Machi machi's order window inside.

Order at the kiosk and pick up at the window when they call your number. Service is a bit slow since they are very busy making drinks. Variety of different types of drinks that offer and some are pretty unique from other places in the area. I ordered the grapefruit green tea slush. It was pretty good and they have grapefruit at the bottom. It wasn't too sweet either. Light and refreshing drink. No sitting area, but there are benches outside on the street.

The corn drink was so yummy! Unexpectedly so It is creamy corn topping I think made out of cream cheese with a milk tea underneath :)

Ordered the popular black milk tea with panna cotta- honestly, the milk tea is very mid. I have definitely had better elsewhere. The panna cotta is very interesting, I think you need to have an acquired taste to enjoy it. this isn't something that would be first on my list if I was craving bubble tea/milk tea, but I think I would come back once every blue moon

From what I heard, this place is famous for Jay Chou(popular Taiwanese singer) being part of it. Very interesting and unique boba tea store, have some very interesting drinks. The cream cheese foam is the most popular one. I tried the fruit tea and brown sugar latte. Fruit tea was not tasty, overwhelmed with green tea. Brown sugar latte was actually good. There are a lot kiosk in front of the store to order. No in person ordering. Drinks get ready pretty fast, so there's not a long line.

I came here because of the cute iconic Machi Machi bottle! My friend and I ordered the strawberry milk panna cotta. I like how it was made with fresh strawberry and not the syrup. Panna cotta was creamy and soft. I also tried this same drink in Paris but it tasted much better, this location made it a bit less strawberry infused (?) I would've liked more strawberry flavor. Ordering system was a bit slow.

3.5/5. The panna cotta/jelly drinks are fun and the containers are cute!! The strawberry panna cotta drink is actually quite good - loved that it wasn't too sweet and had real strawberries! Also really liked the green plum jelly tea!! I'd give it a 4/5 on flavor but it's super pricey so 3/5 on price.

I came here with a friend after dinner for a place to round out the night. It's a small place with no seating, just a bar/standing area against the wall. I ordered the jasmine tea with fresh fruit, which was solid! It's a nice refreshing tea loaded with apple and orange slices, grapes, and other fruits. It also comes with a small wooden fork taped to the side of the cup to pick up these fruits when you're done with the drink. The ice in the drink keeps the fruit crunchy, which makes this a great drink for a hot day! Overall, it's a solid place but nothing spectacular that puts it over other places in the area.

Date of Visit: 12/8/2022 Come by this cute boba milk tea shop located in Koreatown. The storefront was not obvious but interior is definitely cute. There are many options of Fresh Tea, Milk Tea, Cream Cheese Foam and Fresh Fruits. We got the Jasmine Green Tea with Plum Jello in a cute bottle. The bottom part was plum jello with a real plum and the top part was jasmine green tea with crushed ice. Love the sweet and sour taste mix with flavorful green tea.

For the price and flavor it's alright Got the jasmine green tea with orange and the jasmine green tea with fresh fruits. Half of the drink is fruit and not much tea. 20 slices of oranges is kind of excessive. The fruits in the fruit tea don't even taste like it infuses into the tea. Like whole pieces on grapes and huge slices of apples. The drinks are not life changing, very basic Drinks are on the pricy side and drinks are 20% liquor and 80% ice and fruit. If you want a fruit salad, then this place is for you!

For $9, this is crazy overpriced. Was the drink good? Yeah, sure, but it's nothing spectacular. I got the grapefruit tea with grapefruit jelly and it came in a flask bottle. The bottle itself looks smaller than a regular cup. The wait was long. The drink was refreshing on a hot day but you can definitely get something cheaper and similar at any of the other tea shops nearby. Someone said the panna cotta drinks are what they're known for, but I still don't think $9 is worth it for a drink.

Got there fresh fruits jasmine green tea and I loved it! They advertised that they used 100% fresh fruit with no artificial flavoring and I could really taste that in the drink. The drink was not overly sweet and was very refreshing and didn't taste artificial at all comparing to a lot of other fresh fruits tea that I have tried from other boba places. I could really taste the tea in the drink and I loved the floral note from the Jasmine. Their drinks are very pricy, around $7-9 after tax, but I think it's a nice treat to myself once in a while! Would recommend if you want something refreshing for the summer!

I came to visit Machi Machi at the height of their popularity last year, with their prettily packaged drinks plastered all over my IG feed. The line wasn't long (~2 people deep on a Tuesday afternoon) but it did take a while for me to receive my drink (~10-15min). I ordered the strawberry latte with panna cotta ($8.45) which was pretty, but ultimately a mediocre drink that was not worth the hype or price. The panna cotta is set quite firmly so it's not that great to eat with a straw on account of it being a choking hazard. The strawberry latte itself was bland and had neither a strawberry or milky taste to it. There was just no substance to this drink. Overall, underwhelming but pretty to look at.

Love their drinks... The service is good. They are fast for the most part depending on the time you go. The wait is about 10 mins or less. This is located in Ktown so you can bet it can be crowded. It is a shared space so there is no indoor dining. You pretty much grab and go. My friend and I ordered their new seasonal edition Mango Cream Smoothie with Jelly Pearl. It was pretty good. The cream wasn't heavy. It was very lite.

Got the Black Milk Bubble Tea minus added sugar plus Tapioca Balls. It was the perfect combo - the tapioca was just the right amount of sweet to go along with my unsweetened bubble tea. I like that you can customize (sugar, ice, tapioca, etc). They operate in a small space which is share with two other food vendors. You order on an e-kiosk then wait for your number to be called. Expect to wait a bit since each order is custom made. No seating inside but there is covered seating outside. It's a bit on the pricey side for me so it's a once in a while treat.

Easy to order on the machine. I got the natural taro with bubbles. Bubble Tea has become expensive $_$ since the earlier days. Knowing that taro has a more chalky taste, it was good and a bit chunky. I had a sip of my friend's oolong milk tea and that was delicious. Recommend not to talk and sip as you may choke.

Two words: Panna Cotta. So rich and creamy! Goes perfectly with matcha or black milk tea. I get why there's long waits. I'll happily wait. There's no place to sit and drink unfortunately, it's more like to-go. Even though these drinks are on the pricier side of bubble tea, they sure know what they're doing. There's plenty of space to wait on the side for your drink, unless it's super busy then you'll have to wait outside. When I went, 2/3 kiosks were down. Even on a Tuesday evening right before closing there was a line! I'll come back just for the panna cotta.

You order through a kiosk for this overpriced drink. I've been wanting to try for awhile but was hesitant because people said it's overpriced. I agree! I got the strawberry latte with panna cotta and there was not enough drink for the $9.71. It does come in an aesthetic jar, but this place is a one time try place.

Updating because I've come to appreciate Machi Machi's drinks a lot more since I last tried them. I've gone to a few stores in Toronto to try more of their menu as well. This particular store is still chaos, but order at one of the self-serve touch screen kiosks if you want a drink and not food. I only waited about five minutes to receive mine. I tried the Cream Cheese Foam Mango Slushie and it was really flavorful and refreshing on a hot, humid day.

Simple menu but a bit overpriced -- brown sugar latte (small) with any topping was over $7, and even a simple black milk tea with no toppings was $6.45. The drinks themselves were okay, enjoyable but nothing I would come back for. The taro milk with panna cotta was a very delicious drink -- this might be the only item I would come back for. The taro milk had thickness to the texture like real taro, and the panna cotta was a great mix to go with the taro portion. This drink was in a cute flat bottle design, great for IG photos. They have self order kiosks so the staff is primarily just handing out drinks at the small window inside. The donuts and hot dog place are further in the back so you get multiple snacks at a time stopping by here. No indoor dining area, just standing room to wait for drinks/food.

Stop by Machi Machi to check out their panna cotta drinks and had a good experience overall! They make the panna cotta inside the bottle so its really fun to poke it with your straw. Not only was the flavor super milky and creamy, but also the texture was super soft and chewy. The matcha itself was pretty good albeit a little sweet and matcha flavors could be stronger, but I felt like it didnt really match the panna cotta cause both were kinda cream/milk based. I also got to try sips of the new mango pomelo, crystal boba, and jello drink! It was pretty solid with the combination of fruit, jelly, and boba!! A little icier than what I preferred but still had good flavors. The store itself had different kiosks for you to order on and the wait was appropriate given how poppin this place is! There are some seating options outside and a couple spots/counters inside. Loved the some neon signs/fun cute murals inside!
