I'm combining my experiences this summer in one review and averaging out the number of stars provided.
To start with my first experience this summer, I would have given the restaurant a total of two stars. The service wasn't that great. Our orders had all come in late, many things were missing from the menu, and the food didn't taste fresh. It was a strange and rare experience so that's why we decided not to hold it against them and come back. I had ordered oysters and sushi as per usual.
During the second visit, our service was a lot better. The food was delicious, it tasted fresh, and the service was quick. I would have given my experience during that visit four or five stars. When I come here, I always like to order oysters and sushi because the fish is amazing. I usually get a spicy tuna roll, a Philadelphia roll, salmon sashimi, tuna sashimi, and octopus sashimi.
The third time around the service was great too, and I would have also rated that a four or a five. This time around I decided to do something a little different. I also ordered the shishito peppers, and instead of the spicy tuna roll, I ordered unagi instead. I didn't think I would like it because the idea of eating eel kind of freaked me out, but it was amazing. The flavor and crunch made it all come together. I think it might be my new favorite from here. Just writing this review makes me miss the restaurant. I really look forward to my next visit, and I believe it's one of the best restaurants in Provincetown.
