Great experience!! Cherry Vanilla was the bomb!!! I got ice cream as well as both of my daughters got waffle cones with 2 scoops all for $14! Great value and definitely not marked up based on location on the strip. Can’t wait to go back!

This is a really cool store, lots of creative and unique decors all over the store. They have many flavors of ice cream, more than 20, frozen treats, frozen drinks and their specialty freak shakes. Multiple tables available inside the store to dine-in. We tried few flavors of ice cream. Really good taste and quality, doesn’t have ice particles. The service was good. We got our order within minutes since there was no line. The store was very clean. They have some very nice merchandise, specially the t-shirts with their logo.

This is a nice spot! We ordered iced flavored latte and matcha coffee, and overall, the drinks were good – we really liked them.

Great selection of ice cream and shakes, would come again and recommend. They carry many of the blue bell selections, and you can sample. Near the ferris wheel on the boardwalk

A very nice ice-crram spot with a lot of flavors to choose from and nice staff. Beware that even one scoop is quite enough, I wasn't able to finish mine, and not because it was not good (it was delicious). Very sweet, but one flavor is served with no sugar added, which is a very nice surprise.

Absolutely amazing! Very friendly staff, a welcoming environment with delicious options. I had the pleasure of trying the Krazy Kolours ice cream. I was not disappointed. I have never seen ice cream so colorful! It's like Crayola threw up in my cup! (In a good way!) Very kid friendly and very positive vibe!

While visiting Myrtle Beach my husband and I stopped for dessert and this place did not disappoint!! The cake shake was delicious and the staff went out of their way to make a Carmel sundae for my husband. I would definitely go here again!

They charge for every little thing you get on your ice cream , it would be nice to at least get a cherry included. Ice cream is basic nothing special . Most ice cream places have the same company ice cream. The selection is decent. They have sugar free selection also , which is rare. They didn't have functioning toppings such as hot fudge which was frustrating . Smaller place and seemed to be a bit cluttered. Service was good

We could not leave Myrtle Beach without stopping by to grab a freak milkshake. We had spotted several tourists walking down the boardwalk with these unique ice cream sundaes and milkshake so he asked where to grab one. I'm so glad we had already had dinner so we could indulge in some sweets. I got the cotton candy delight and my son got the loaded chocolate chip milkshake. Both were Amazing! It was definitely worth the $14 each! They also serviced ice cream by the scoop on regular and waffles cones and bowls. It's a fairly small creamy but they do have a small seating area. This was a great way to end the day.

I didn't try the ice cream. I purchased ice cream for my husband and my mother-in-law. They both enjoyed their ice cream overlooking the ocean. Price was fair for the area. Service was quick. I believe it is Blue Bell ice cream.

My mom and I stopped here to grab a quick treat before we were on our way. The workers began talking about us. Honestly so disrespectful considering that they are working in customer service and that there would be many tourists coming in. We then caught one of the men working taking photos and videos of me and my mom. Extremely disgusting and disrespectful. We will not be coming back. We do not tolerate this type of behavior.

Ice cream at Mad Myrtle's was so delicious. Upon entering you can go and sample some of the flavors which i tried their new coconut chip flaro not bad but it beeded a more coconuty flavor and and lemon bar ice cream which was bery tart and lemoney. The ice creams were delicious. I went ahead and got a cotton candy flavor whoch was so sweet and delicious. The staff was nice and helpful in letting me decide on the ice cream which took some time (hate to say i started a line with my indecisiveness)

They hurt my feelings and contributed to my therapy after I spent $$$ on souvenirs! They were out of fudge... how dare they remain open, the people like fudge!! Carry on for my hunt for a fudge sundae :)))

I couldn't wait to try this place, but don't show up 21 minutes before closing. Two people walked in, held the doors for us and we were told "we're closed", as the other two people were served. I get that it sucks when people come in close to closing time, but that's the job.

I really recommend this spot if you're looking for a sweet treat after dinner or are on the North Myrtle Boardwalk. I got the cookie monster ice cream which was oreo and cookie dough ice cream and it satisfied my craving. My mother got the ice cream sandwich cookie which was huge and also looked very good!! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because a single scoop is $5.00 plus tax and the ice cream wasn't anything extraordinary. Don't get me wrong it was still good! The vibe of the shop is also very retro and the service was surprisingly quick!

Great icecream and fast service. The line was almost to the door and they got everybody in an out in about ten minutes. They have milkshakes, cake cones, waffle cones, toppings, etc. The consistency of the icecream itself was soft and delicious. I got a spoon because some icecream places it takes a minute to even be able to eat because it feels so frozen, but not at Mad Myrtle's! I didn't even need it. I had a scoop of cookies n cream and birthday cake. My husband had two scoops of the strawberry cheesecake. So yummy! The only thing is I wish they had their flavors listed on the menu because with it being so busy, I couldn't see what flavors were down at the other end of the line.

Great ice cream on the street side of the boardwalk in the heart of Myrtle Beach. '2 scoop' sundae was huge with fresh whipped cream, hot fudge, nuts, and finished off with a cherry for $5.45 was huuuge and could easily be shared! We visited twice during our vacation. Lots of flavors to choose from. Would highly recommend!

Cute ice cream shop! Classic flavors, taste was great. Loved the seasonal cone, I can only imagine how cute the other season ones are! Prices are reasonable. They do offer 3 flavors of the 'crazy milkshakes' that are a big thing right now. I opted for a simple 1 scoop cone & it hit the spot

Very generous single scoop cones/cups. The mint chocolate chip was delicious, but my boyfriend said the strawberry cheesecake was just ok (the strawberry was fake tasting). We really appreciated that they put a little vanilla sample in a tiny cup for our pup!

Great little spot on the boardwalk. It wasn't mind-blowing or anything, but they carried pop rocks and rainbow sprinkles, 4 different kind of cones, and enough flavors to satiate your inner child (or was it just mine? But I digress...). I got the frozen peach yogurt with sprinkles. It came with giant chunks of peaches in it, which was refreshing. Check in on yelp to get 10% off! I only found out after I had paid...

We stopped here after dinner and a walk along the shopping district on Ocean Blvd. The ambiance gave off a nostalgic feel with antique signs like Hires and old arcade games and it had an old coke machine. The staff talked to themselves more than the customers. It seemed like a few of them may have been training with James A and they were hard to hear over the music. The girls liked their shakes and Derrick said his slushie was fine. I enjoyed my sundae. What I liked was you can pick the ice cream and choose between shakes, sundaes and ice cream sandwiches. Plus, they have freak shakes which looked tasty, but were running double what the sundae cost. I'd give a 4.5 for food and 2.5 for service. They need to speak up and and be more approachable but weren't rude my any means.

Tasty homemade ice cream with over 20 flavors of ice cream. I had the chocolate mouse tracks, my girls had the vanilla with rainbow colors. Both were delicious. The place is small with several tables with friendly staff. They also have root beer floats and shakes.

Their ice cream was really good! Maybe it was just because it was so hot (I don't think so) but the flavor and texture was amazingly refreshing. Good selection and service!

I thought this was a cute little ice cream place in the center of Myrtle beach. While I can't speak for the deliciousness of all the menu items, I will say that my birthday cake ice cream choice sandwiched between two (homemade? I think) chocolate chip cookies was perfect. Yum.

After walking around the boardwalk I wanted to grab something light to eat between meals. i was hungry but not for an entire meal yet. I wanted something sweet and came across Mad Myrtle's. Cute old school looking ice cream parlor. they have a variety of ice cream flavors, you can do a cup cone or shakes. I went for the birthday cake ice cream and was very good. the girl at the counter was nice but i found it strange she kept leaving the counter to sit with her friends at the tables. I was going to ask about souvenirs but I felt weird going to table to talk to her so I forgot about it. Overall, good ice cream. There are a few tables inside or it's perfect on the go. Cute decor too.

Mad Myrtle's Old Fashioned Ice Creamery on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach is a great spot for all things ice cream, milkshakes, funnel cake, and much more all in one place. I really like the feel and atmosphere of this place as it is fun and nostalgic and adds to the overall experience. The ice cream dishes are delicious and well made and go really well for a dessert after a good meal or for a cold treat during the middle of the day. This has been a reliable place for quality ice cream and a good time.

Located on the Broadway strip. Multiple selections of flavors. This is Hershey's ice cream, not homemade. The ice cream was good. We had two different servers and they both got our orders wrong. The amount of sprinkles they added to our orders was truly sad. I've never had ice cream in a place that literally gave about a teaspoon of sprinkles. Literally..... It was a quick stop and we enjoyed our ice cream.

Had the orange ice cream with pineapple pieces. Well, it was orange color, but didn't taste orange, extremely subtle orange flavor. My wife says she could taste it, so maybe it's just me missing the orange umami flavor sense on my tongue. Or was it that it's none of that fake essence, that's why it's subtle? Who knows. 3.90 for a single scope and it's quite a generous scope size. Decor is 50s old style design. 3-4 tables available, didn't see a restroom.

Great ice cream for a good price not to mention veteran discounts. A group of us came here after doing the escape room a few blocks away. While they had a lot of options, they did not have much for someone with dietary restrictions like my partner. The seating was a little tight since it is tourist season, so plan on taking it to go during crowded times. Parking nearby is a huge pain so if you can walk it out to get here, just go ahead and do that. Despite the hassle of parking and the lack of seating I will still come back since it is the best ice cream around.

After visiting the Gay Dolphin and walking on the boardwalk for a little bit, my boyfriend and I stopped into Mad Myrtle's Ice Creamery to cool off. There were various options, but we went with the banana split. Honestly, it wasn't that special, very much average, but I really didn't know what I was expecting... maybe a "WOW".

I am not much for ice cream, but it was a hot Friday and I was about to fuel up with some alcohol. So, I figured I could use a scoop. Thankfully, when I arrived, I saw that they had birthday cake ice cream. Score. Then I saw the person before me get a shake. It looked great. I went that route. It was the thick, bend the straw kind. Made with a blender. As most low paying, ice cream shop jobs go, it is staffed by high school students. They were attentive and efficient, but lacked a lot of interest in being there. They offer shakes, scoops, sundaes and the like. They also have a cooler with PowerAde, Sprite, water and other assorted soft beverges. The best part - the A/C is solid. Stop in and cool off.

I didnt know where to go for good ice cream so i yelped ! And found this one to be the closest. And i am glad i did. Im a fan of birthday cake ice cream. But when i came here OH MY GOD. My taste buds went on a frenzy. I just couldnt believe how good it tasted. Blows cold stone out the water. And they are mega generous. When they say they give big scoops they arent playing. I recommend this place !!!

Super cool place and ideal location. AC is set on max which is amazing. 4 people fully satisfied for $18 so very reasonable pricing. Kinda has the old time feel. Is kinda small inside and has 3-4 tables. The ice cream is absolutely delicious.

I got a waffle cone with a scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough and my brother got a waffle cone with a double scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough. It was around $13 for both of us. It was overpriced and didn't taste any better than a pint of ice cream out of my freezer at home. Save your money and go to your local grocery, grab a pack of cones and some ice cream and make them. You won't feel like you were took afterwards

Came here during down season with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ice cream. I'm a chocolate ice cream super fan and there aren't many that hit all the right notes. This ice cream was rich and flavorful while maintaining its creaminess. The cake cone however was stale but I didn't even care. It was super humid out so unless they are kept in an airtight container I'm not sure how they would avoid that.

Yum! Lots of cone choices, decent prices s d right near the SkyWheel. A few tables inside, tight space. Parents with strollers make it hard to get thru.

I can't imagine a place more deserted than Myrtle Beach before tourist season starts. It was cold, windy, rainy and desolate and all I really wanted was a good local ice cream place. After wandering up and down the strip in the rain, this seemed like the only place that was open and not completely scary. The two girls working inside were friendly and nice. They did their job quickly and got everything right and made small talk with us! They have glass bottle soft drinks and didn't give us weird looks when we came back an hour later to get a few. The ice cream was good, not great, but it was also the only non-softserve place open. It hit the spot though. The interior was cutesy as well, a nice place to hide from the cold in the evening.

I got the 3 scoop bowl but it was more like 6. Would highly recommend the place to anyone looking for a cool treat on a hot night! Get your ice cream and listen to some music at the Bowery or stroll down the boardwalk.

This place has excellent service and really good. Ice cream. My husband ordered a SECOND CONE.... AND went back a second day for more. Great place for ice cream in Myrtle Beach.

My first time here, ice cream was a little good but wasn't super cold when I got it and melted really quick. They have pretzel and cookie comes though, the cookie cone was yummy!

Don't get the funnel cakes! They're tough as shoe leather! At least they gave us a refund though which U appreciate!

It's just ok. The ice cream taste just ok! They only serve hard ice cream and it's VERY PRICY in my opinion!

Ice cream was just okay. Service was a bit off. The chick running the cash register tried to run our card 4 times and then finally just said... the credit card machine hasn't been working all day. So we had to run and check our account to make sure we weren't charged 5x.

This place was very cute and artsy. They have a variety of of flavors: what I dont like about them is that their ice cream tends to be very sweet. I ordered a scoop of their peach and it was very sweet that I couldn't even finish it when I normally could finish two scoops.
