Welcoming American cafe for breakfast, brunch & lunch, offering creative sandwiches & pastries.
"The beauty of Madison Kitchen’s BLATT is in its simplicity. Tender and smoked turkey grooves with thick bacon for crunch, and gets along with avocado, fresh tomato, greens, and a perfect basil aioli that is neither too herby nor mayo-laden. Laid between a squishy but structurally sound Macrina potato bun, it’s on the lighter side, and tastes extremely satisfying with a fistful of kettle chips and/or some lake mist sprayed onto your face." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

"Madison Kitchen is the perfect neighborhood cafe: everyone knows each other, there’s a big glass case with lots of salads and other delicious things on display, and they even do Thanksgiving catering. The main reason to come is for a quick granola bowl, frittata, scone, or breakfast sandwich with crunchy bacon and their incredible basil aioli. But while we’re on the subject of Thanksgiving, you’re going to want to leave with the Madison Street Special (smoked turkey, white cheddar, apples, basil aioli, cranberry sauce, and arugula on cider wheat bread) to eat for lunch later." - Aimee Rizzo, Kayla Sager Riley
"If you’re looking for something more grab-and-go, we are big fans of the sandwiches at Madison Kitchen, an all-day cafe on the main strip. You can’t go wrong with anything you choose, but the best is the Madison Street Special, which has turkey, bacon, apples, cheddar, basil aioli, and cranberry sauce on cider bread. It was practically designed to be enjoyed in a park." - aimee rizzo
"You’re coming to this neighborhood cafe for a quiche, frittata, housemade pastry, or breakfast sandwich with crispy bacon and an incredible basil aioli. But the lunch showing here is also strong—you’re going to want to get the Madison Street Special (smoked turkey, white cheddar, apples, basil aioli, cranberry sauce, and arugula on cider wheat bread). The sandwiches travel well, but we also like eating them at one of the snug space’s few tables." - Aimee Rizzo
