Madras Dosa Co. Rockefeller Center

After a long morning in NYC, finding this place for lunch felt like a blessings. It's in the food court of Rockefeller center. We had ordered dishes like Masala dosa, Onion samosas, samosa chaat, spicy Aloo matar sandwich, idli and shambhar and medu vada. Besides the medu vada all food was delicious and full of authentic Indian flavors. Medu vada were not cooked properly from the inside. I have become a fan of their south Indian food, especially their sambhar and chutney. The staff was very professional and ambience was great. We will surely return to this restaurant whenever back in the city.

Best South Indian restaurant in NYC..!! The hygiene, portion size + free refills & the authentic taste is unbeatable.. must try. Thnx Sai for making our first visit the best & keep raising the bar high 😇

Visited this place twice in my visit to NYC with my parents. Ordered Chickpea Pulao and Dosa and loved the food. The Chai was amazing too. Amazing hospitality by Rahul. p.s- Their Indian playlist is banging.

This spot is so good!!! My son and I adored the dosas - I had a traditional one and he had the chicken - both were so tasty and took me straight home to amma's kitchen ☺️ my daughter is a poori fan and the amazing staff at Madras Dosa Co. set her up with a special order of plain pooris that she loved. It's a small location but the atmosphere in Rockefeller is a lot of fun. Can't recommend this spot enough, I'm definitely making a other trip as soon as I can!

The ghee karam idli was amazing. Also loved Pav Bhaji dosa and lamb kheema dosa. However the filter coffee was disappointing. It had more milk and barely any ‘coffee’ - definitely not reflective of a Madras based South Indian coffee.

The food was very flavorful and freshly prepared. Everything was delicious, it was so good to find such a good place right in Rockefeller Center.

Delicious potato dosa and samosas! I cannot handle spicy food; these had just the right amount. Plus the sauces are so good-my favorite is the tamarind because it’s a bit sweet but I loved the minty yogurty spicy one too. Excellent spot to eat at Rockefeller Center! Nice seating too and very friendly staff.

We had dinner here with friends and truly enjoyed the food. We ordered chicken, lamb, and mixed vegetable pulaos, and all three were excellent. Each dish was flavorful, well-balanced, and perfectly portioned for one person. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, making it a great dining experience overall. Would definitely come back again.
