Diego our waiter was very informative and impressive. He was polite and gave us the attention and space you would expect at a restaurant. The food recommendations he gave us were all great, especially choosing the Ragu over the carbonara. The Branzino was perfect!! Compliments to the chef. 10/10 meal. 10/10 service. The espresso martinis were very good as well.

First time in this restaurant and first time in Zermatt generally, I was looking for a nice spot to sit and enjoy the view and eat some good food, and I can definitely say that's an amazing place. The service was great, the food was great, the fondue was great, the pasta was great. Everything was just amazing. We enjoyed so much just sitting there watching the view. Yes, the prices are a bit pricey, but it's Switzerland, and you are literally sitting in the best spot of Zermatt. Definitely recommended if you want to enjoy the view and a good lunch or dinner. This place is just amazing.

A beautifully atmospheric place where flavors from world cuisines are harmoniously blended. The staff are very helpful, the concept is excellent, and it offers a stunning mountain view. I recommend arriving before it gets dark. The facing visual fireplaces add a great sense of warmth and a true mountain ambiance to the setting.

Yesterday I was invited for a business dinner at Madre Nostra. Although I have been living in Zermatt for many years, this was my first time here. As I was not that hungry I took just a Vitello tonato and the fried artichokes, both very good. However all the men took either the filet steaks or the rib eye and they were all complaining about the poor quality of the meat - very chewy and not tender at all. I tried a piece and they were right. So at the end they sent the half of the food back to the kitchen, which was an unnecessary food waste. As we were sitting in the private room it seemed at times that the staff forgot us and if we wanted to order more drinks somebody had to get out and do the order. There is surely some place for improvement!

Some of the best food we had during our trip in Switzerland. Absolutely loved the pasta and the great wine pairings with local wines. The tiramisu is definitely a must. If you’re looking for a great meal with stunning Matterhorn views, look no further 🍝

The fries are really good but way to expensive for such a little portion. The stuff helped us quick and we liked the look of the restaurant. The spritz‘s dont really taste like much besides wine. We cant complain about the waiting hours and how nice the food was even though it could be way cheaper

Delicious food and kind service. But for 4 people, they charged us 5 bottles of water which they had brought wrongly at the first place (still instead of sparkly) and when we kindly changed them to switch, the lady who was responsible for our table indeed changed it immediately (plus the bottles were extremely small and they filled our glasses even without us asking specifically for it)When the bill came, we saw that they charged for it as well, we made them notify the situation yet the answer we got was that “we each took a sip”, rudely might i add. Me and my family indulged ourselves with most of the items on the menu and although nice service and good food, would probably don’t go again due to unnecessary prices and the treatment we got at the end.

Wow! The food was exceptional. We had artichoke and the salad for starters and raviolo with truffle and sea bass and capers. Definitely recommended The service by Tom was very nice. He made us feel like royalty. The whole service team is doing very great The ambience on the big sunny terrace with live music is hard to find like this in Zermatt.
