"ICE agents have been showing up at several Los Angeles restaurants, including Maggiano’s Little Italy at The Grove, interrogating workers and in some cases briefly detaining them. Management at this particular Maggiano’s declined to comment on ICE’s arrival more than a week ago, directing Eater to the corporate public relations line for its parent company Brinker International. They have failed to respond to repeated emails and phone calls, while federal workers tell Eater that “ICE doesn’t confirm audits of specific businesses.” However, an inside source who requested anonymity has confirmed to Eater that ICE agents did, in fact, make their way to Maggiano’s on the morning of February 13, pulling out workers and holding them for questioning for an unknown amount of time." - Farley Elliott

Repost: We came back to this restaurant with another set of cousin's visiting the SoCal from up north. We ordered the Family Style -- 4 course meal; appetizer (3 choices), pasta (2 choices), main dish (2 choices) & dessert (2 choices) for ~$45 (rounded up). You can ask for more of the choices that you would like. The Beef Tenderloin Medallions & shrimp scampi was the best, delicious, the beef was sooo tender 🤤 I ordered a side of the Chef KB's lobster carbonara, ummm 🤤💞💞💞 The calamari, mozzarella sticks (those were thick sticks) was another delicious picks. The over all dinner was another big hit at this restaurant. Second time experience was as great as the first time! Thank you! Had a Great dinner at this place for my cousin's newly engaged celebration with the family!!! 1st time going at this place. Our server Sara was wonderful (so are the other servers that brought the water & food)!!! She was very attentive on our orders, suggested what's best on the menu & very thoughtful. Thank you Sara for making my experience enjoyable & memorable!!! We were seated at the covered Patio, we were the only diners at the patio & the weather was very nice that night. The food was Delicious!!! Big portions, very tasty, good presentation & oh sooo yummy. I ordered the Shrimp Fettuccine Diavolo (house made raspberry tea), umm, umm, umm, it was sooo good with so many shrimps that I shared with my 2 sons (the youngest got the most, shhh). This was a 1st for me to get at a restaurant a shrimp dish that has more shrimps than the pasta!!! Everyone's dish was looking delicious & each of them praises their choice. We didn't get to the desserts since we're so full but Sara brought out this half moon shaped cookies & it made me feel "this is a perfect ending to a great meal"... Ahhhh. Over all it was a Fantastic evening & place for a special celebration with the family!!!

My friend took me here for my birthday today. The food was a bit pricey but excellent. I loved the bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar! Probably the best balsamic vinegar I've ever had. The kitchen ran out of lobster for one of the dishes we ordered but not a dealbreaker. They say they are a scratch kitchen meaning they make food from scratch instead of already been prepared. I was able to get gluten-free pasta and I could not tell the difference. The service was great. The hostess who took the reservation over the phone remembered my friends name and even commented on it, asking if the name was French. Pretty impressive for a hostess. We got seated immediately. The waitress was attentive although she never offered to refill our glasses of water and that's all we drank. To top things off, they served a free dessert for my birthday. I would definitely return to this place again.

Service was great! Our waiters were so friendly and sweet. The food though is a different story and not their fault. I'm not sure if it's because I've changed my palate due to adopting a cleaner diet but everything here tasted way too salty to me so it was hard to want to finish anything. I did appreciate the buy one take one home meal promotions. The meatballs were good but the pasta itself was too ap dente for my taste.

Maggiano's really exceeded my expectations. Their portions are HUGE, their sauces are delicious and the customer service is just phenomenal. Their creme brule was so creamy and light. The cheese ravioli was probably the best I have had. We had the calamari as an appetizer which was pretty good. The sauce was great. The bread here is warm and had a little sourdough type flavol but really really addicting. Overall, my experience here was amazing and I would 100% come back.

My sister celebrated her 20th wedding anniversary.Truly a great experience. The reserved area was perfect for 40 people. If you are looking to celebrate anything look into Maggiano's. Their service was excellent and the food was great.

Loved this place! Huge place with 2 levels and large partio. Upstaris is a 2nd kitchen and 3 private dining rooms e.g., for weddings or meetings. The bathrooms are also upstairs. Definitely need reservations during busy times. Live piano player. The main bar is massive and sports dual bartenders. You can sit in the bar lounge area without wait if you are a small party. The place is pretty fancy, decor-wise. Dark wood paneling and nice chandeliers. Formal italian look. Nice menu. All the classics but still a cozy number of selections. Fettuccine was markedly under cooked and somewhat clumpy. Otherwise flavors were great. Other dishes were very well executed. Wait staff was attentive and excellent. A few things were not well maintained, such as the light bulbs were visibly dirty and ceiling tiles out of place. One of our bead plates was soiled and needed to?be replaced. Ewww. They have a dinner special with appetizer, 2 pastas and dessert for $45. This is a great deal consisering prices overall. Desserts are top notch. Butter cake. Cheese cake, creme brule. Yummy. They also have a pasta dish to go for $5 with each entre you order. We got 4 to go. Best deal in the house. Be sure to validate parking. Note that validation only covers 2 hours so if you have a wait or go shopping expect $10 to $20 parking on top of validation. Grrr. Overall a nice classy italian place. Good for a date, a reception or an impressive business meeting.

I always enjoy a meal at Maggiano's. I often order eggplant parmesan. Today, we had several appetizers, fried, breaded calamari, PEI mussels with white beans in a light butter sauce, and a spinach and artichoke dip. They were all delicious. The eggplant parmesan with spaghetti was also excellent. I have to give credit to the chef at Maggiano's for great food and exceptional marinara sauce. The outdoor seating was comfortable, but the noise level was a bit too high. Part of that noise was caused by the patrons having to talk over the noise of the background music. I definitely appreciated the cloth tablecloths.
