"This is the kind of coffee shop that actively encourages folks to stay awhile, whether to have a meeting, work, sit and read, or sip as much coffee as they like. It can be a little loud, so it’s not necessarily ideal for focus work, but if the hustle and bustle fuels you, then it’s a great place to land." - Courtney E. Smith

This coffee shop embodies exactly what a coffee shop ought to be: quiet, relaxed, inviting, and expert. The coffees are crafted by skilled baristas who are always happy to discuss the beans, the roast, and their origin – a testament to their passion and knowledge. The space is broad and airy, the lighting is appropriately dim, and the music is kept softly in the background, creating a conducive atmosphere for relaxation and conversation. As expected, the seats are typically occupied by book readers, couples gazing into each other's eyes, and laptop workers taking advantage of the password-free network. We did experience two minor annoyances during our visit. The single-stall bathroom ius clean, but struggles to accommodate the volume of visitors, resulting in potentially lengthy waits. Additionally, the cafe charges a premium of approximately 20%-25% for non-dairy "milks," which feels somewhat disingenuous, especially given the increasing popularity and availability of these alternatives. Overall, however, the positives far outweigh the negatives. This coffee shop provides an excellent environment for relaxation, conversation, and enjoying expertly crafted coffee. We highly recommend it. As ordinary consumers, we are not paid or compensated in any way for this review. We are always looking for reliable and transparent businesses and hope the owner will take this feedback into consideration.

Google
Rating this place based on the vibes: Really good decorations and design! A lot of space indoors with different seating arrangements as well as outdoor seating. There are board/card games available as well as magazines. Seems like a great place to study or hang out. I did have a dirty matcha latte iced, was just okay.

Kasia Czeczkowska

Google
Very cozy place with nice outside area. Very Parisian style BUT the pastry is so so. Chocolate croissant wasn’t actually very crunchy. Tastes very average. For 6$ I would expect better. Also place do not accept 100$ bills. This was a problem for me.

Xiomari Caban Garcia

Google
Pretty good coffee :) Beautiful and comfy indoor seating. They’ll make any cold foam flavor to your choosing from their available flavor category. I had a maple cold foam with a caramel iced macchiato.

Google
Came for a random anniversary date day. Great spot to kick off the day. Great coffee and atmosphere 😎☕️😎 I got the Americano, the cinnamon croissant roll and the Magnolia Latte. All were great plus the staff was great! 👍🏻

Mike Parente

Google
Great place with really chill vibe and nice decor. The latte and ham and cheese croissant were excellent!

Areeba Shahid

Google
I ordered amaretto, white chocolate flat white with a regular croissant. The coffee amount for the price was very small, almost an espresso shot worth. Also the regular croissant was stale. The service was very good and the atmosphere was beautiful.

David Zeledon

Google
Cute coffee shop, and almost wish they had artificial pumpkin flavors (kidding). All ingredients are truly organic and fresh to the name.

Tra N.

Yelp
Pros: spacious but could get very busy. Very Instagram-y set-up and decorations seem to target rich hip young people. The coffee favorite is great, with flowering aroma that blends very well with espresso. Cons: Limited street parking. The inside of the cafe can get quite noisy due to the talking and echoing of the room. (They do have extra parking in the garage just South of the entrance off N Harwood St!) They used to have a paper stamp for points.

Chloe C.

Yelp
cozy factor: 5/5 It's giving Parisian cafe. Very busy inside. A mix of families and young adults. Lots of dogs. Don't know how I feel about the abundance of dogs. But the decor is very cute with big blue wingback chairs and a rustic modern French vibe. Cozy factor gets a 5/5. cuppa joe quality: 5/5 Magnolias has a fun menu with imaginative drinks. I ordered the Sugar Cookie Latte which had a flavor profile of amaretto, white chocolate vanilla and cardamom. Flavor explosion. crowd watching: 5/5 This is definitely a hip, bustling place. Excellent for people watching. Lots of fashionable people. I saw a very handsome man who slightly resembled Michael Ealy. customer service: 4/5 I wasn't greeted when I entered but the baristas were incredibly busy because it was a high traffic time. remote work friendliness: 3/5 While there's plentiful tables and seating, there is a very high noise level.

Lia K.

Yelp
Baristas here are really nice. And the inside was really cool and had a chill relaxing vibe. We tried the dulce de leche latte and it was just ok for me. My husband really liked his, but I wish I got something else. I read the ingredients, but I should have just did a caramel latte instead. The barista recommended a warmed up almond croissant, and that was great. It tasted nice and fresh. It had a perfect balance of sweetness and nuttiness. My husband enjoyed his chocolate chip cookie. We would come back. The location is kind of weird. The gps took us to the other side of the building at first. So we circled around before finding it.

Yelp
Cute space and friendly staff. If there's affogato on the menu I've got to try it and I'm glad I did. Their menus are clearly labeled and the space clean, not a lot of people this time of day since it's almost closing, but perfectly nice and quiet. I opted for the patio since it's spring today in Texas. I'd definitely come back!

tierra T.

Yelp
Bold, smooth coffee loved the cortado and shaken espresso. Only downfall since we were visiting the area, we wanted a t-shirt but they didn't have our size . Staff were very pleasant!

Tessa G.

Yelp
The cutest little coffee shop gem in Dallas. Vibes inside are unmatched, I love working here. I haven't tried any food but love their coffee.

Sherelle L.

Yelp
First, this place has a lot of great seating choices which makes it ideal for enjoying your drink there and working/studying. Now, the service was okay, and they didn't ask if I wanted my drink iced or hot so I ended up with a Hot Fruit Loops Matcha Latte that was on their seasonal menu and I ended up tossing it. It had a lot of matcha powder in it that was not dissolved and the flavors in the cup just didn't work for me. Now, my friend enjoyed her iced latte and cinnamon roll! It may have been just what I ordered, but I will give them another try in the future.

Kate M.

Yelp
Cute spot I found near my hotel. There was free 2hr street parking in front of the cafe. Friendly staff but they take their time in making drinks. Not as fast as chain coffee shops for sure. Got their latte and gingerbread latte - both tasty, seasonal drink wasn't too sweet which is always a plus. Espresso game not the best but that's ok Would recommend coming here for seasonal or fun drinks. Come to hang out, study/work. Ample seating and space.

David Z.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop, and almost wish they had artificial pumpkin flavors (kidding). All ingredients are truly organic and fresh to the name.

Avi N.

Yelp
Considering the atmosphere (French vibe outside, modern inside) you would expect the pastries to be good. Don't! Just don't do it. Dry, over baked, might be from Sam's club. Service is sub par. Just avoid or enjoy iced coffee and the atmosphere.

Rana I.

Yelp
This cafe is so cute!!! The ambiance inside is very dim and cozy. Tons of different seating options and not too quiet so you could come in a group. I tried the matcha which was not the best - very milky and the signature iced latte drink with rose which was really good, tastes exactly how it sounds!!

Jingwen Z.

Yelp
After a recent trip to France, I gravitated toward Magnolias Sous Le Pont for its name alone. I had a rare afternoon off and decided to get some work done here. It was a gorgeous day, and the storefront was open to the street, which was noisy at times but provided a lovely indoor-outdoor feel. The indoor part of the store is a bit dark. There were a handful of other patrons here, mostly also working remotely. I ordered the signature Magnolias drink, a floral iced latte. I liked how floral it was, though it was also a bit too sweet for my liking. I'd be interested in trying a different drink in the future. Note that the machine/tablet used to checkout and pay will ask you multiple times to leave a substantial tip.

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Great place to grab a coffee, chill, work, or study. They have plenty of seating areas from couches to bar tables. Drinks come out quickly, and staff are friendly.

Kristy S.

Yelp
First off - fantastic service. Hats off to all who work here...seriously. They have delicious teas and pastries. Not to miss. Also, just an adorable French-style cafe...tasteful, clean and a place you want to sit in and work at off-site.

Nishitha M.

Yelp
The service was not fast not slow, the coffee was okay (the color gives it away) but the ambiance was 10/10. It's always packed so hard to find seating but there's plenty indoor and outdoor.

Rachel A.

Yelp
This place is tucked away in a building but has a parking garage attached so it was easy to get in and out. We ordered a medium roast black coffee, a shaken espresso, breakfast sandwich, and blueberry muffin. Everything was great but the bread on the sandwich was extremely stale. The shaken espresso was excellent and wasn't too sweet or milky which I appreciated. There was no available seating so we had to order to go. It appeared many people were seated at the tables working on laptops. All in all, good experience.

Daryl G.

Yelp
Service was great. The coffee was delicious. They have decaf and sugar free syrup options. Great spot to work or have a meeting. Tip: GPS may show it to be in the main building but the coffee shop is actually located below with an outdoor entrance. You also can access it somehow from the main building.

Yen P.

Yelp
One of the best coffee shops in Dallas for their environment and drinks. Love the lattes and the chai. Nice ambience for working from home and the service is great!

Tracey Z.

Yelp
Super cute little cafe with a really nice vibe! Inside it's so sleek and I feel like I'm in a little french cafe. Lots of selection when you come in, both food and drink wise. The line was pretty long on a Saturday morning. I got the Turmeric Latte and the cinnamon scone. The latte was mellow but the turmeric taste got stronger and stronger as I drank, at the end it was very overpowering. The cinnamon scone was initially kind of rubbery and not had light and fluffy as I would have liked. It was very sweet as well. Not sure why but the baked goods were not able to be warmed up.

Ozz J.

Yelp
Fun, cheerful cafe with good coffee, friendly staff and parking was a breeze. The inside of the cafe had ample seating, the outside was cozy but not crowded.

Lauren-Ashley B.

Yelp
I love that the place is hidden away, with some street parking. They have plenty of seating areas. I had their pasta salad which was really light, refreshing and also fulfilling. The coffee is really good as well, even without adding sugar. I also like that they have a cute little greeting card wall. I would definitely come back during the week to work out of for a bit.

Rida R.

Yelp
Super cute spot with unique specialty iced lattes! It's off the beaten path but near several restaurants and not far from Katy trail. Lovely way to spend a weekend morning/afternoon.

Jamie T.

Yelp
Coffee was good from a traditional standpoint. Their coffee is slightly overpriced though. Service was okay, she was kind of rude to me unfortunately but that's okay, probably a tough day at work with all those people in line! Ambiance was great! Good place to get work done!

Kerry G.

Yelp
Top notch coffee shop. They have a diagram that has how much coffee to cream is in each drink so I didn't feel like an idiot when I placed my order. The pastry I had was delicious. The atmosphere is classy. Nice place to hang out.

Chuck H.

Yelp
On a recent visit to Dallas I discovered this gem. It is in an off the beaten path location. When you enter you are met with a cool inviting environment, with soft low lighting and a smooth jazz musical appeal. The inviting ambience is coupled with tasty, high quality products. We enjoyed the Kaiser and Tiramisu lattes and almond croissant. All three were fantastic. In terms of local independent coffee shops you couldn't find anything better. A bonus is it is definitely dog friendly and the staff is attentive and fast.

Victoria N.

Yelp
FOOD INSTGRAM: @northtx.gemz **** WHAT THEY'RE KNOWN FOR: not sure but they are in uptown Dallas in the Harwood District! THE VIBE: kind of French vibes? It has turquoise accents. Very spacious. It's super cold inside! Lots of people are WFH or studying. PRICE: ~$12 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes. **** Overall Rating: 8/10 - You're probably wondering what the square pastry is. It's a croissant! It had a pistachio cream in the middle that actually was perfectly sweet. It wasn't overly sweet but definitely get it if you do have a sweet tooth! The quality was immaculate I'm not sure if these are made in house or bought from another shop. - The snow cloud cold brew was mid tbh. The cold foam didn't have much flavor at all. The cold brew itself was mid and didn't have a robust coffee taste it was borderline watery. I would come back and try a different coffee tho. - Vibes are great! It's very spacious. But it's SOOOO cold inside so bring a sweater. Only thing is it's street parking only I believe. There was a connected parking garage but I wasn't sure if it belonged to a connected office building for those employees. I only really saw corporate employees walk through.

Isabella S.

Yelp
It was a cute little place to visit! Coffee was pretty good too. Wish there were a little more food/pastry options.

Zhekaren W.

Yelp
I loved everything about this cafe. The location, the warm welcome yet quite space to sit and daydream. I had an iced cinnamon crunch latte. It tasted wonderful but slightly pricey. However, considering the location I didn't mind the prices nor am I complaining. I'll be returning!

Manikaa N.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday afternoon in February and really enjoyed the chill atmosphere inside. A few people working on their laptops, some conversing and a table playing a board game from the cafe's stock on the back shelf. They had plenty of seating and the baristas were friendly and patient while we made our decision on drinks. Would go again!

Joey W.

Yelp
I was recommended this coffee shop awhile ago so decided to finally check it out. There's a lot of seating inside which was really nice. I stayed for 30 minutes since the wifi wasn't working for me. Shaken espresso - super creamy and sweet. But you barely taste the espresso. I wish the espresso came through a little more because it just tasted like I was drinking cream. I was very disappointed. Chocolate croissant - a decent chocolate croissant. It was flakey but wasn't really soft on the inside.

Kacie D.

Yelp
Mmm..I'm gonna crave this place What I got: Decided to skip my usual basic order of a skinny iced vanilla latte & got their Strawberry Shortcake Latte - iced. It was a very very good choice - like a not too sweet drinkable dessert. Atmosphere: I was expecting a little bit more of a chic environment, but they're decor and design is alright. Personally, a little too loud for me to get work done here though.

Tony D.

Yelp
No Wifi Hiccups getting around 20/20 mbps The art pieces are awesome and the couches are comfy. Lighting is also nice. Drinks come out in a good timely manner. At 11 it was a full house, then its about 70% capacity at 2pm on a thursday. I got the iced vanilla oat milk latte and its super creamy! The coffee is moreso on the background. I saw a frozen latte for $5 bucks so maybe that will be something if I am ever in the area. Its a great one time experience, but onto the next!

Fatima C.

Yelp
I absolutely adore the lattes here! By far one of the coffee spots in the area I go back to without hesitation. I find you get a lot in a latte compared to other shops or major corps. I've only had hot lattes here and it's quality goodness. The almond croissant is great but a little pricey. Service is ehh. The cashiers always seem bothered every-time I'm there. The place is nice to meet up with friends, co-work or stop in for a few minutes. It does fill up quickly if you are looking to work there for a few hours or more so plan accordingly.

Lico J.

Yelp
Very cute coffee shop that you can't miss in downtown. The outside looks like a coffee shop in Europe. The inside is modern and cozy. We got a pumpkin spice latte and a cold brew. While we liked the psl because it's rich, flavorful yet the spice was not overpowering, we felt the cold brew was okay. Overall, it's a good place to hang out a bit.

Kathryn W.

Yelp
This is my favorite little coffee shop in Dallas. It is the perfect place to study given the cute ambience and right level of activity/noise. I love just being there (kind of like the love I have for just going to Target). I am only giving 4 instead of 5 stars because it has very solid but not the best coffee in the world, and it seems like their pastries have not been as good lately (I am not sure if they are getting them from a different place). Sometimes early in the morning prior to work or late in the morning on weekends, it can get a little crowded (because it is a great place!), and service can be a little slow, so I would suggest going when you have plenty of time to relax or consider ordering ahead. I love the monthly drink specials they have, which are always fun to try. My favorite things there are their almond milk cappuccino, apple pie latte, and Mexican hot chocolate.

Minly L.

Yelp
I love how hidden but not actually hidden this spot is. Inside is super cozy yet elevated. Service was simple and painless, no complaints here. Solid coffee. I got the cappuccino, and it tasted great. Solid chocolate croissant too.

Rabel O.

Yelp
Long overdue review. I was here back in August 2022. Was looking for a place to enjoy a good coffee and do some work. The vibe of the place is pretty nice. Great place to just enjoy a cup of coffee and chat with friends. The seating arrangements is varied and comfortable. Unfortunately on my visit, it was full and I wasn't able to find a place were I could spend sometime working. The coffee was ok. I had a July seasonal drink (can't remember the name) pictured. It was not to my liking, but if in the area would definitely come back to try a different drink on the menu.

Julian R.

Yelp
By far 'y favorite coffeehouse!! It's a Harwood Property cafe, so it will never disappoint! From the outside, the scene is set with art and installations with piece across the street and the wall next door. The patio offers plenty of seating during the warmer seasons. Right now (mid November) might be too chilly some days. Inside offers a warm and inviting environment with all the cafe sounds you'd want to hear; jazz, lofi hip-hop, acoustic pop, of all the major artists. I love how local artists are given an opportunity to shine throughout, as there are pieces, large and small, draped on each wall. You have to opportunity to purchase as funds go to a cause, as well. The service is very fast and efficient, which you'd like so you can get your coffee brews and bites to eat. There is an extra touch to the setup when dining-in; can't beat that. Even something simple such as an espresso was dressed up. My fav in Dallas!

Cassie D.

Yelp
Love this coffee shop! A proper French styled coffee shop at its finest. You can smell the coffee beans when you walk in and it has that perfect vibe blend of just casual enough for a hipster crowd, good enough coffee for the aficionados and trendy enough for Instagram. The coffee was phenomenal, a long list of different flavor options, dairy alternatives and of course your standard breakdown of the different coffee/milk/foam ratios and styles. My bf is a "boring" drip coffee guy and even he was pleased at the 3 different options for him. My iced latte with honey and almond milk was perfect and I appreciated the little ice cubes! We are only in town the weekend, but will get all of our coffee here. DELICIOUS!

Marcus R.

Yelp
Hidden gem in Harwood! Loved the decor and style of this interior and the outside patio. Went with a vanilla latte with almond milk, and the coffee was surprisingly nutty! Would definitely come back again and recommend as a great spot to have a low key study session or get some project work done. 4/5 stars because the barista wasn't very friendly

Kiandra M.

Yelp
Loved this coffee shop. It's cute and cozy inside with plenty of space. A great place to read or hang with a friend and chat. The blueberry pancake iced latte was delicious and highly recommend.

Dawn T.

Yelp
Great cafe that checks all of the boxes! - Exterior is so cute and charming - Interior is bright and spacious - Accessible location with convenient street parking - Baristas are friendly - Drinks are tasty Last visit, I had the Magnolias latte (lavender, rose, elder flower, hint of vanilla) with oat milk and enjoyed it very much. Latte was smooth and I loved the interesting yet subtle notes of lavender and rose. So "sous le pont" means "under the bridge" in French. Fun fact I discovered on their website: the location of the cafe inspired the name since it's located under the bridge of 2727 in the Harwood District!

Christina O.

Yelp
I absolutely love the exterior of this coffee shop. The outdoor vibes are amazing, and on a nice day it would be a great place to spend with a coffee in hand. The coffee itself I thought was just alright - nothing particularly exciting about the taste. I would be willing to come back to try a different drink and see if that changes my thoughts.

Đt N.

Yelp
Came here on last Friday morning for the first time and I am not impressed. The inside looks really nice and I love the atmosphere overall but the service is the worst that I've had so far. First of all, there were 2-3 employees gathering around the coffee bar and chatting to each other. They were joking, laughing and made the store very unprofessional. Second, the guy who take our order had a stinking attitude. My girlfriend doesn't drink coffee at all and she was confused about latte and cappuccino. Instead of being a little patient and explain to the customer, He was rolling his eyes and said "so you want a lattle or cappuccino" with a rude tone that made us really uncomfortable. Maybe because we are the ony asian group was there that made us treated differently with everyone else? I don't know. ‍ Would never come back to this place ever again. To my asian friends, don't come here unless you want to be treated like second class citizens.

Mary D.

Yelp
Cool and sizeable coffeeshop. Best part is that it's walkable and adds coziness to the busy uptown landscape. Slightly overpriced, but I like supporting local businesses. We enjoy the espressos and frozen lattes. There's even happy hour for the frozen lattes from $4-5 daily! You can choose from several flavors to help make your perfect drink. Caveat is - you better know exactly what you want when you come to order. I found it very hard for me to think of flavor combinations (maybe because my coffee palate is still not as refined). Many coffee shops have examples of various sweet drinks, but I didn't see this to be the case here (and maybe that's not standard). I asked the barista for examples of sweet flavor combinations, and the person was not very forthcoming. In fact, I felt quite embarrassed for not knowing what I wanted and reverted back to my usual Starbucks flavor choice - white chocolate mocha. That, and there was a long line behind me. Space - charming, sizeable space with many tables and chairs. Great space to do work. Productive space with like minded people. I didn't see tons of outlets (unless I didn't look hard enough), so make sure your electronics are charged. Otherwise great space to read and meet. Food - baked goods and tacos are tasty. They don't serve tacos after 10am on weekdays and 11am on weekends, but I think many places are like this. There are several foods (primarily grab and go) on the menu, and the available items are refrigerated on display. Parking - I think this is primarily street parking which is limited, but we always walk! Staff - mostly attentive and definitely efficient. One female staff member was not very welcoming. I also read a few other reviewers had this similar experience (not sure if this was the same person or not). Our person was primarily on her phone - scrolling on Instagram and texting while taking our order.

Heankel O.

Yelp
Magnolia latte is my favorite drink. Amazing coffee. They really know how to do it. The service is great. This is a fave spot in Dallas

Jordan C.

Yelp
The interior and exterior is really cute, but really felt the flavor lacking in this drink. If you look at my picture, that's supposed to be a spicy mocha. Outside of that, the baristas were really nice though!

Kimberly P.

Yelp
Cute little coffee house. Outside is cute and cozy. I had a crème brûlée latte with a blueberry muffin and it was delish. Not enough coffee for one sitting but it was cute. Great spot to meet and chat.

Catalina M.

Yelp
Love this place! It's a cute (kind of hidden) coffee shop with seating both inside and outside. It has a special vibe to it. We sat outside which was perfect for these warm winter days in Dallas. What's great is you sit on the sidewalk facing a street and not a parking lot like so many places here. The coffee and teas were great. I had the chai tea latte and my friend the matcha latte and both were fantastic (my friend had a second!). Our moms had cappuccinos and they loved it. Will come back.
