A free annual event hosted by Urban Craft Uprising that's centered on food instead of crafts. If you'd like to help support, the suggested donation is $1. Advanced registration is required just for the organizers to anticipate the number of attendees.
The first hundred to enter each received a goodie bag with treats from vendors. To my astonishment, a good couple of hundred people were already in line when I had arrived twenty minutes before opening!
Inside the building were three rows totaling 72 booths. It was smaller than I had expected and finished browsing in a little over an hour. A decent variety of food vendors, although it was the usual set one would expect: sweets (e.g. chocolate and pies), sauces and spreads (e.g. nut butter and mustards), beverages (e.g. tea and shrubs), meat (e.g. smoked salmon and jerky), and quick meals (e.g. oatmeal and pasta). Booths were slightly crowded with all the people trying to get samples.
Raffles were drawn hourly for items like cookbooks and cups. Select cookbooks for purchase had scheduled hours for signing as well. If looking for a meal, a couple of food trucks were stationed outside of the building. Public WiFi and restrooms are provided too.
