Google
Bad bad takeout place. Their food quality is bad. Have a bad stomach ache and made us throw up. They had old, outdated chutney and they packed it along with cold curry and idly vada.

Google
Yeah. If you want to possibly be exposed to hepatitis by workers who touch everything and then your food without washing their hands or wearing gloves, please go! Also if you like being overcharged for minuscule portions and water as curry, jump in!

Google
Do no go to this place. Food is not fresh (maybe frozen or left out or thawed) Could induce food poisoning, since it is outdated / old food. Given us trouble for two days with eating expired/foul chutney. Not good place to go.

Sent an incorrect order to me. It’s ok in itself - I understand mistakes happen. But when I called to inform them, the person on the other end was dismissive without any apology. Disappointing to say the least.

Google
DELICIOUS POTATO SAMOSAS!!! 5 out of 5. A nice flaky crust and the filling is seasoned to perfection.

Yelp
In my trip to Chicago I was craving for Indian food. We ordered butter chicken masala , chicken tikka masala and 2 butter Naans. Food :- chicken tikka masala and butter chicken masala had practically the same gravy. It looked like they just added little spice to tikka masala gravy and served it. It was tasteless and in my order I had like 4 small very small pieces of chicken. It was just gravy. No wonder they serve rice alongside. Naans also looked store bought and we're not at all fresh. I will not be ordering again from here. Wasted $35-$40.

Yelp
The guy working there touched everything and then touched my food without gloves. I asked him to remake the plate and he refused. So not only do I perhaps get hepatitis, the food was lukewarm and watery. If I could go negative stars it would go there, but health code violations will probably beat me to it

Yelp
Delightful! Surprised to find this place near my workplace in the loop. The lunch special is very affordable at $12.95 (in 2022) and it includes papadam, chutney, bread, rice and two near-full portions of curry! Generous. The menu also had a vegan special which --although I prefer the paneer -- was wonderful to find since it's how my doctor would prefer I eat. The food was very good. Not quite as delicious as India House on Grand Avenue but far more affordable. Give it a try! I think you will be glad you did.

Yelp
Holy flavor!! I stopped by the food hall tonight for some tacos, but ended up ordering from Maharani instead. I got my usual Indian dish: saag paneer with garlic naan. This might be the one! I thought I had already discovered by favorite saag paneer in the city, but this just flew to the top of the list. The flavors were absolutely amazing! Rice was perfect. Saag was perfect. Price was spot on. The guys at the counter were super friendly. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Terrible Indian food. I got 4 bite size pieces of lamb in my tikka masala. The naan is store bought and Luke warm only. I've gotten frozen naan that was way better. Not sure why this place has good ratings but I'll never go again I paid $40 and got this see the photos.

Yelp
When it first opened, we really liked the food here. Lassi was delicious, biriyani was excellent. Naan was awesome? I even informed the person that I have never tasted this good naan before! Today, it was a total disppointment! The meat lunch box had one small peice of meet in green curry and few tiny bits of chicken pieces of butter chicken. Curry was not enough for the rice and two Chappatis. Mango lashttps://www.yelp.com/guidelinessi had orange food coloring and mango flavoring and didnt taste or smell like mango lassi at all!! Please do not seel mango lassi with mango essence and food coloring - its not acceptable at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they change!

Yelp
Sorry I didn't take pics! You'll just have to believe me when I say it was AMAAZZINNG. I got chicken something, that isn't much help but just go here. It was chicken over curry rice I believe. Somewhat spicy but they let you decide how spicy you'd like your food. Order anything and I'm sure you'll be satisfied. The gentlemen working here were also very kind. I'll probably try the butter chicken next, I hear that is delicious.

Yelp
We had the most pleasant experience while visiting Maharani on opening day Saturday and are already planning a return visit this weekend. We were greeted by the friendliest of service, made aware of their specialties and provided recommendations. We chose the Chicken Tikka and Garlic naan, which WAS MADE TO ORDER right in front of us and definitely a highlight. I think I told a dozen people about the fresh naan and impeccable service after leaving that day and would suggest it to anyone asking. The owner even found us on the outdoor patio enjoying our meal and provided us with a complimentary dessert and follow up. Plenty of street parking right outside and a large outdoor patio awaits you. Thanks again for the wonderful lunch, we will be back!

Yelp
Food was delicious, and staff was so nice! Minus one star because one dish was like warm.

Yelp
There aren't enough starts for this amazing Indian food. My second time and it was even better than the first!! I have told everyone I know about this favorite spot at Dr. Murphy's Food Hall. Simply the best!!! Each dish made to order- what more can you ask for?! LOVE IT! I specifically ordered extra to bring home to my family... but I might not share.
