Main Street Murfreesboro Saturday Market

I love this farmers market! It is the biggest farmers market in Rutherford County. Vendors are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Produce is gorgeous! You can find anything you need from fruits to vegetables, meat, bakery ideas. Jams, jellies and honey 🍯. It is very HOT! It is a dog friendly event which I love seeing all the cute dogs. Balloon art for the children, 3$. My kids had so much fun picking out flowers and helping pick produce. They love the 3D printed toys. Bath, lotions, candles, pottery, ice cream, and so much more! I love being able to attend weekly.

We enjoy attending the Saturday Market. I’m sad they’ve changed the rules and some of our favorite hot meals are no longer allowed due to updated restrictions! It’s fun to see the beautiful flowers, farm fresh produce, organic meats and amazing crafts. Also - all the doggies!

This farmers market is such a gem! Most of the vendors are incredibly friendly and fair, making the experience feel warm and welcoming. If you’re ever on the hunt for beautifully balanced, great-smelling candles, there’s a vendor here that truly stands out—they’re some of the best I’ve found. From fresh onions, bell peppers, and zucchini to sweet peaches and more, you can find almost everything you need to make fresh, wholesome family meals. A wonderful spot to support local and stock up on quality goods!

I love the Saturday Market on the Square in Murfreesboro! Fresh fruits and vegetables. Local honey, meat, cheese, flowers, and plenty of other local favorites to choose from. It is a family-friendly fun way to spend the start of the weekend. Seeing people you know and making new friends. There is usually music and a few doggos to pet as well. You're missing out if you don't go!

I awoke early enough and parked on the square Downtown Murfreesboro,TN right across the street from market vendors! The shoppers not crowded at 7:30 am. Outstanding vegetables locally grown, bell peppers in Red, Green, and great quantities and sizes as well as squash, cucumbers, and more! Wooden hand made crafts toys for my 9 month old Grandson, flowers, Honey aplenty , baked goods I bought cookies , Zucchini beads, banana bread and many more! Coffee stand, meats had 2 stands, and yard art too. I was impressed with peaches and bought 2 ears of corn too. It is a must visit for me monthly if not as needed. Highly enjoyable!

A buyer needs to be aware that there's a lot of produce that is not fresh. At least when I visited the middle of August 2025. I was disappointed. But ripe tomatoes were however outstanding tasty and fresh.

Love visiting the market every year it is a part of my summer Saturday morning routine.

Don't go for the produce. Hugely overpriced, NO organic produce, much of it not even local. Take a look at this corn. $12 for a little basket of pesticide blackberries. Half that price for organic ones at Trader Joe's or Sprouts. Some good local bakers, craftsman, and other unique finds.
