"Everything in this fine-dining Chinese restaurant is splashy, but also homey. This is a great spot to bring a large group for a celebration. It has the space, and it has a menu full of single bite dumplings and dim sum, plus sharable plates that are designed to be mix-and-match with entrees and rice." - Courtney E. Smith

"What is contemporary Chinese cuisine, we asked when speaking to the chefs and owners that created this new restaurant. The best answers might be found on its menu, among the American Chinese dishes that diners already know. It’s the roasted Berkshire pork char siu, crispy pastrami egg rolls, Alaskan king crab salad, and wok-fried lamb shoulder. It’s contemporary cooking done with Chinese traditional methods with flourishes to style it." - Courtney E. Smith

I love this place! Came for my daughters 20th birthday and they truly made her feel special. Everyone was so sweet, kind and knowledgeable. The hosts took so many photos of us at multiple occasions. Our server was Travis and he’s prob one of the best I’ve ever had. Soo funny and just very helpful when making food selections. We had certain dietary restrictions and he was able to give us suggestions based on that. Highly recommend this place! Can’t wait to come back!

Stylish and contemporary dining room with a bright patio that they can cover for inclement weather. The bar has a warm and elegant feel to it. The menu includes Chinese favorites that you’re very familiar with along with many entrées with some special accents. Our group of six dined family style so we could sample many dishes. All the starters were very nice including king prawn dumplings, crispy rock shrimp and shrimp spring rolls. The sea bass, crispy beef, and scallops entrees were particularly good. Our waiter was attentive and the service was well paced. Overall, we had a lovely meal in an upscale, comfortable setting. They have valet parking but check on the street as well.

There are no handicap locations near their front door which was frustrating, so not easily accessible. I’m on a knee scooter currently and luckily I was there when the parking lot was not full so it wasn’t terrible. Upon entering the restaurant the staff was very welcoming, kind and accommodating. The restaurant is very beautiful and our server Marcus was great! My martini order is not easy and he made it perfectly & his knowledge about the menu was very helpful since there were so many options. We started with chili wontons and they were cold, Marcus apologized and replaced them immediately. Next, were the chicken dumplings they were very good but nothing special. We finished dinner with the lamb shoulder which was the star of the whole meal. We also had the Dandan noodles, honestly nothing special and it was very watery. Overall it was a good restaurant, we will be back!

TLDR: Nearby? Swing thru! Otherwise, go to Carrollton, Frisco, Royal China, Bistro B, somewhere else. Probably don’t come if you have the same skin tone as their wait staff (not the hostess). I honestly felt guilty about writing this review since I was thinking about almost immediately after sitting down. Some context, came in a wrinkly shirt with my parents after they dressed up a little and made a reservation. We were the only non-white people in the restaurant. But the service and atmosphere felt quietly hostile. So here we go. Food: Style, not substance. Siu Mai -good mouthful, about an ounce in the bite. Topped with roe, had a solid mouth feel. It was also pretty. Unfortunately the table took the bites before I could take a picture, but it had a pleasant bright color to it. -Con, I look for flavor most of the time. The taste was fair, not too overwhelming or stimulating. That said, it’s a dim sum and just couldn’t stand by itself. For 3 pieces, you’d hope it be a little more than a rice filler. Soup dumplings - Firm skin. It’s kinda tough to do but then I realized why. The dumpling itself isn’t brimming with soup which kills the fact it has a balanced oil and salt flavor profile. Again, doesn’t stand up. Of all of them, you’d think this would be the dim sum that would be memorable. Sea bass - low heat, with a light saltiness. Had firmness to it and fell apart at the natural segments of the fish. It didn’t have a fishiness to it, a reflection on the preparation. The vegetables carried the flavor and therefore the dish. However, between the 3 of us, we varied in our assessment of its spiciness. Spicy Beef - very filling sauce. It was thick without being starchy or spicy. Had more kick and weight than all the other equally rated spicy dish but you could eat the dish with no worries. It wasn’t a vinegar based spice so its low temperature was nice. Service: Okay, these are more like bullets as I thought of them and felt them. - the waiter didn’t introduce himself. Not too weird but he was definitely far more attentive to the business folks beside us. I started doing time stamps and then realized I was being too obvious in between them. -minor complaint but realized it was important. We had 3 different people serve us plates. Two of the servers’ fingers touched the flat part of the plates. Not what you’d expect from a “fancy place”. Also, there was an inconsistency with wearing gloves. Can’t tell which was right or which was optional. -this was kinda the nail in the coffin. Hostess walked the tables, brunette, long straight hair, and wore floral. She greeted all the tables, running the various guests except for us. They’re all white. We wore appropriate clothes, wore nice watches and bangles. But just floated by us, without even the courtesy of a glance. -Now after 45mins, like 15 or so after the first round, she repeated and greeted us with a curt “how’re you”, drifting past before an adequate response or request can be helped. Atmosphere: Kinda hinted at it earlier, but little hostile to brown people. I’ve eaten in enough spaces and places to feed it but at least the service and food in other spaces negated the feeling. Very loud. Walls are lined with a pretty but veneer like wallpaper but you can’t tell. The lights dimmed and brightened randomly. Similarly, the music was POPPING. And not in a good way. Felt like a running list of top 30 pop songs which didn’t fit the flavor profiles. The folks around us were also loud. It must be nice knowing no one will say anything about your explicit language or your screeching. Yeah, screeching feels right.

Probably one of the best restaurants in Dallas. We arrived mid week and due to an innocent confusion they didn’t send our waiter for 15 min. The manager Alyssa can to our table and apologized and even treated us for an appetizer. From there on the service was exceptional this isn’t our first time here and as always it was amazing our favorite dish wash the stuffed eggplant

A fair experience overall that I wish was better than just that. The food was over priced for what it offered and focused more on presentation than taste. Service was also quite slow. Valet is paid and was $5. Nothing wrong with that, just a note to be aware of because it isn't mentioned elsewhere.

While going through the Google menu and reviews of this place, we wanted to visit Maison Chinoise. Chinese cuisine is our favorite and the experience here was outstanding. I booked a table in advance online for Valentine’s Day but only got a slot at 4:30 pm even 1 week in advance. Although I wanted it to be a bit later but anyway it is fine. This is a must visit place for all Chinese cuisine and seafood lovers. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The rush was true on 14th Feb. Special mention to Billy who was our attendee during our dinning. He was a great, hospitable and charming person. He made our experience even better. Overall I rate this place 5 on 5. Rates are pretty reasonable keeping in mind the quality of the food and the ambience. We ordered a lot and then when we were not able tot finish we had them packed to go. Ordered the following: Spicy Sichuan Pork Wonton (*2) - $15 ea Crispy Shrimp Spring Rolls - $15 Crispy Crab Wonton - $15 Xiao Long Bao Pork Soup Dumplings - $16 Prawn & Pork Siu Mai - $16 Kung Pao Chicken - $28 Yang Chow Style Combination Fried Rice - $21 Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles - $20 Mochi Ice Cream - $11 Pearl of Wisdom - $14 Mandarin Sunset - $13

Yelp
Went to Maison Chinoise for date night on Friday night. The inside is well done - it is swanky and well done. Our server Jacob was friendly and attentive. We were originally seated in the enclosed patio area, but requested to move inside since I preferred the vibe in there more. We got moved to a high top table, which was fine, it was nice to watch the dumplings being made. We got two cocktails, both were good, but my seasonal drink that I was recommended was $25, a bit pricy for a mezcal drink. For appetizer we got the truffle mushroom dumplings (super yummy!), crispy tofu (texture was amazing), and the crispy beef rolls. Our favorite of the three was the truffle mushroom dumplings. For the main course we got the kung pao chicken and veggie fried rice, both extra spicy. It was tasty and the portion was decent, we enjoyed both. For dessert we opted for the pecan dumplings, this was absolutely delicious and I will dream about this dessert. The inside of the dumpling is a warm pecan pie-type filling and underneath it is a cool, apple pie style sauce. Super good!!

Yelp
Made reservations here for my boyfriends birthday and we left before trying anything due to the treatment, and customer service. The host was not kind nor was she accommodating.

Yelp
Went here last Friday at 5:15 pm. I think we may have been the only people in the restaurant for at least 30 minutes which was pretty odd! The food here was yummy, we got a lot of tapas that were good and yummy drinks. We all had no complaints on the food. However, for what you are getting, the prices are INSANE. I got the 'wagyu fried rice' which is $30 and tastes just like beef fried rice. I would have been unsatisfied if I paid $17 let alone $30. Also, there were 6 of us that split the appetizers, yet our waiter informed us at the end he couldn't split the checks which was super disappointing. The ambiance here is pretty and the food is good, but there's just too many GREAT restaurants in Dallas to go to instead, for much better pricing. I do really think this restaurant needs a good happy hour menu as well in order to get people in the door before 6:30. It's pretty odd to be the only ones there. Wouldn't recommend but if someone took me here and food was free I wouldn't complain!

Yelp
The restaurant is unassuming from the street, but is beautiful once you are there! They have a lovely patio and interior. I went with a friend for my birthday and they were very happy to help us celebrate. Our server was also very knowledgeable of the extensive menu. The food was mostly classic asian dishes, but elevated. We enjoyed everything we ate and drank. I would go back for another special occasion!

Yelp
The menu is so expensive but the food and drinks were below average. The saving grace is that the service is excellent and the ambience is great inside the speakeasy (near the restrooms). They have a jazz band as well over the weekends. The seating in the restaurant is so loud that you can barely hear yourself. We ordered shrimp dumplings, shrimp starter (over fried and no flavor), hibachi appetizers (these were ok but the slice of fish was too thick) and all of them were just ok. Food needs to be really flavorful given the price but it wasn't. Even though they have their own parking lot, they still charge a $5 valet fee. I would skip this restaurant.

Yelp
We attended Madison for dinner. There was live music and the setting was dark. Food: As a person who has visited Thailand, I must say the chow mein was fire! I definitely wish the position size was a bit bigger but other than that no complaints. Service: The servers were friendly and joined into with the crowd for dancing. Overall: Would recommend and looking forward to trying other dishes.

Yelp
A deluxe restaurant with a wide array of tasty dishes, elegant lighting and stylish decor. Ambiance: This restaurant has a beautiful look to it, with decor and moody lighting that makes you want to stay for a drink- or two- longer. Perfect for a date or get together with friends. There are outdoor and indoor seating options. I rate the ambiance 9.4/10. Food: The menu offers an array of options suited for most dietary preferences. Everything I tasted was yummy, with my favorite dish being the Peking Duck. This is a MUST TRY- it was so tender and juicy. The Peking Duck comes with tortillas on the side so you can make a Peking duck taco. I also tried the truffle mushroom dumplings (delish- unique flavor profile), wagyu potstickers, spicy orange beef, chicken with cashew nuts, and prawn fried rice. The Dragon Lady cocktail is my favorite cocktail on their menu! The Aloe Can You Go cocktail is also great. I rate the food 9.3/10. Service: Our server was attentive and friendly. They helped recommend a few of the dishes and answered any questions my party had. I rate the service 9.6/10. Overall rating = 9.4

Yelp
We visited Maison Chinoise Dallas for a belated Father's Day celebration and a birthday dinner for my younger sister. The ambiance was initially charming, and we enjoyed trying various appetizers. The ribs were tender and flavorful, the crab Rangoon was creamy with a perfect crunch, but the calamari was overly crunchy. Additionally, the crispy pastrami egg rolls were a bit too salty for our taste. Unfortunately, our experience was impacted by numerous flies around our table, which detracted from the otherwise pleasant evening. I hope they address this issue soon.

Yelp
This was a very nice and sexy vibe restaurant. There is a connected speakeasy but I believe you can't enter easily from the inside (we definitely tried ) Food, drinks, service and ambiance were great. Nice for a date night or a just a nice and fun dinner. Our food was flavorful and the portions were not too big. Either way, we finished our meals and had a little room for more so we suggest sharing multiple plates to encourage getting bites of the different entrees too! I'll definitely be returning to continue to enjoy!

Yelp
The service and swanky space are the saving graces for this restaurant. The restaurant has its own lot but you must valet. With a name like Maison Chinoise and located in Dallas, I expected high prices and more "Asian fusion" food rather than authentic, which is exactly what we got. We were recommended family-style, typical of most Asian restaurants, but here the portions were VERY SMALL to be called family style. Each appetizer came with anywhere from 3-4 pieces for the dumplings and wontons. wonton (ranging from $15+ for each dish). Fried tofu may have been the only family-style portion. Of the appetizer dishes we selected, I'd only recommend the Sichaun dumplings, although I've had better at several other locations in DFW. The coconut milk bread tasted like any milk bread you can grab from 85C or Paris Baguette for a fraction of the cost. The char siu Bao tasted more like an empanadas. For the main dishes, we grabbed two fried rice dishes, General Tso's chicken and combination chow main. The waygu fried rice was probably the closest to 'authentic' in flavor. The Peking duck fried rice was far too saucy that it was more mushy than your typical fried rice. The General Tso's tasted like upscale, overpriced Panda Express. The combination chow mein was more tangy than your typical chow mein. Cocktails were pretty pricey, getting up to $25/drink. Overall, it was a nice experience to try it out but with so many other Asian restaurants in DFW, this may be my last choice.

Yelp
I've only been there twice, but I can't recommend it enough. I recently celebrated my birthday there with my family, and the service was just as amazing as I remembered. Plus, you don't have to worry about parking because they offer valet service. I really loved the modern concept brought by the Lombardi team. The truffle mushroom dumplings were a must-try, and all the appetizers we ordered were fantastic. By the time our entrees arrived, we were already so full and needed boxes.

Yelp
This place is beautiful! Good food, aesthetically it's IG worthy, and great service! They have valet, keep in mind it's two spots next to each other. Maison on one side, the speakeasy on the other side. MAKE RESERVATIONS!!! This place books fast. The food came out fast, a few of my Friends did say a few dishes were salty. I like salty so I didn't mind it. The soup dumplings were so good! The braised ribs were super tender. I loved the Dan Dan noodles. The ramen was the only think I didn't care for. For 4 people plus 3 rounds of Double shots we spent $500....PAY CASH or Your ticket will be MORE. They have cash and credit option.

Yelp
Pros: The Space - Beautiful decor. From the elegantly eclectic furniture to the sophisticated tableside metal containers that housed the soy sauce and chili oil. What a stunning restaurant. The People - Very engaging and friendly staff. The Parking - Valet is complimentary, tips only! The Cocktails - Hubs and I tried 4, and all were winners! Cons: Valet Workers - Not sure who they hired to run valet, but they were pretty rude. Hubs and I couldn't get a sentence out of them, let alone a smile. The Patrons - Plastic Surgery meets Old Money. Make sure you don't half step when it comes to your dress. This place is a fashion show. This isn't really a con, but the lack of diversity doesn't make it a "pro" either. The Value - Very overpriced for what you get. The portions were standard but overall, its mediocre fancy Chinese food that costs a fortune, and not the cookie (see what I did there ). GET: Lamb Shoulder, Pastrami Egg rolls AVOID: Orange soggy, oh I mean, crispy beef, and Any fried rice that comes with chicken (the chicken was boiled and flavorless).

Yelp
Trendy spot! A little pricey but you're paying for a cool ambiance and good food. We went on a Tuesday and it was packed! So recommend making reservations. We had one and we had to wait at the bar where we got a couple of drinks. Both were fantastic! For food, we ordered a bunch of plates to share. The Xiao Long Bao were amazing and the sautéed broccolini was a great surprise. We got a couple of desserts since they gave us one for free since it it was my husbands birthday :-). Staff super nice!

Yelp
Service: 2/5 We went on a Monday and the service so-so. I think they were understaffed. Our waiter(can't remember his name but he had a ponytail) scolded one of the other workers.it was very uncomfortable to witness. Food:4/5 everything we had was pretty tasty except the dessert. Honorable mentions were the Lobster dumplings and walnut shrimp. The star of the show was the seabass. It was flavorful and truly melted in our mouths. The signature orange dessert was just not good. I think the white chocolate was overpowering Cocktails: not memorable so I will not rate. Ambiance: 5/5. The place is gorgeous. Be sure to visit Regine's lounge afterwards for a nightcap

Yelp
I didn't get many photos since I was enjoying the ambiance and experience! Yummy cocktails and food. Great service with swanky dim lighting. My favorite item was the Truffle Mushroom Dumplings. Amazing!

Yelp
Following significant buzz on social media, I felt compelled to experience Maison Chinoise firsthand. Firstly, its important for me to mention the exemplary service provided during my visit. Isabella, our server, exhibited exceptional friendliness, attentiveness, and professionalism throughout the meal. The restaurant's ambiance exuded a pleasant, relaxed, and quaint atmosphere, contributing positively to the overall dining experience. However, I must express some reservations regarding the culinary offerings. Regrettably, the mushroom dumplings didn't impress, lacking the desired flavor profile. Likewise, the kung pao chicken leaned towards the salty end. The duck clay pot, while featuring well-prepared duck, fell short in terms of seasoning, with the accompanying fried rice also seemed under seasoned It is worth noting that Maison Chinoise is a relatively new establishment, and as such, I am inclined to believe that they may refine their recipes over time. I remain open to revisiting the restaurant in a few months, hopeful for an improved culinary experience.

Yelp
Whenever a "fancy" version of a cuisine is created. I'm always weary and cautious that the food will be gentrified and focus more on the appearance than the flavor. This was my biggest fear when trying Madison chinoise. I am happy to say, I was proved wrong. The food was absolutely delicious and had the rich flavor of traditional Chinese cooking with slight variation for a higher end restaurant. The highlights for me were definitely the coconut milk bread and the truffle mushroom dumplings. I went with a agroup of 8 and they were able to add a la cart pieces so everyone would have a try which I loved. The restaurant itself is beautiful. We were able to sit at a large circular table which made it a great communal dining experience. Additionally I love the front of the restaurant and natural light. The service although good and friendly was very slow. One of the reasons it does not get the 5th star. Additionally, they charge you more if you pay with card vs cash which I just found a little odd in this day and age. Overall though, it was a very enjoyable Dining experience.

Yelp
Decor: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Came by on Saturday night for an 8pm reservation. Arrived a little early with the intention of having a drink at the bar. While very full, the bartenders were attentive and pleasant. The drinks were as beautiful as they were delicious. Our dinner just didn't seem to live up to the hype. After starting with spicy wontons, plates and silverware were cleared and not replaced. That left us staring at our main dishes when they arrived hot with nothing to eat them with. When a new place setting did arrive, my chopsticks weren't replaced, but was definitely ready to eat at that point so didn't matter. The consistency of service seems a bit hit or miss. Because of the location, I was so ready to have another top of the list local favorite, however the overall experience just fell short.

Sabrina K.

Yelp
I'm all about the "experience" when dining. They got it right! From the food, to the ambiance, to the tableside manner. I was prepared to leave while waiting for my first course. Instead, I elevated my concern to my waiter (Mario). Instantaneously, the experience was elevated. I truly felt like they listened and implemented the change quickly. Food - A Cocktails - A Ambiance - A Tableside manner - A Richard, Lyla, Mario, and Alyssa - THANK YOU!! See you soon.

Yelp
Wonderful dinner at Maison Chinoise! Dined to celebrate friends on the opening of their new franchise. Hadn't heard much about the restaurant prior to being told we would be eating here, so didn't come in with many expectations. However, once we pulled up to valet and checking in with the host, that this it was an upscale establishment. When we arrived our table wasn't ready so we were directed to the bar. One person in our party had been a couple of times and commented that she had never been seated close to her reservation time. We were at the bar for about 20 mins and an enjoyed drinks while we waited (the wait is the reason for the 4*'s and not 5). I had The Way of Xiān Wèi cocktail. I didn't realize it came with a presentation and I'm a sucker for a drink with a show, lol. Our whole group took out their phones to record it. On top of that, it was a great and balanced cocktail! Once seated, our server Alex came over quickly to get the dining experience going. The friend who had been before recommended a few starters as well as Alex. We tried the Rock Shrimp, Crispy Crab Wonton, Truffle Mushroom Dumplings and Waygu Beef Pot Stickers. Everything was flavorful and came out hot! For dinner we did the Peking Duck, Crispy Fish (Red Snapper), Braised Short Rib, Broccolini, Duck Clay Pot Rice and Waygu Beef Fried Rice. Shared a bottle of wine and few more cocktails. Each and every dish was spot on, and the bill for all of it was just over $500! I was expecting it to be no less than $750! To wrap the night up, the manager escorted us over to the Regine's, the speakeasy connected to the restaurant and we enjoyed a few more drinks and conversation over there. TIP: we initially called Regine's to make a reservation and was told that a table for 6 would come with a $1k minimum (not happening). When the manager escorted us over, the bartender sat us a temp table until a larger one opened up. No minimums, just pay for what you ordered. Recommend talking with your server to see if they can get you in with a table. It was a Friday night and the place was packed, but we still ended up with a table and no minimum! In sum, thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would visit again!

Yelp
A group of us stumbled on this place by accident and I'll say that its exterior is deceiving and doesn't do it any justice. This place has such a cute vibe and is the perfect date night spot. I interacted with a few hostesses and they were all very friendly; they mentioned that they just recently opened in the past week. Note: reservation highly recommended or expect long wait time during dinner hours. Their menu has several good options and makes it kind of hard to not order more than one entree. I had their Vegetable Dumplings and Wagyu Beef & Truffle Fried Rice. I've never really cared for dumplings, but the texture and seasoning on this one was good. Oh, and the spicy red curry aioli was a chef's kiss. I would come back just for the dumplings. The fried rice was good and there was a generous amount of beef, but for a $30 plate, I was expecting something more, something different. Maybe we're paying for the "experience", which I get... kind of. Good food, cute vibe, and worth a try.

Yelp
Wow, this place is great. Top-shelf Chinese. They have a huge menu with all of the traditional favorites and many other unique items with a Chinese flair. Everything is prepared better than most, and the flavors are truly exceptional. They have a great drink menu, and I highly recommend the Ms. G's martini, which has a unique toasted sesame flavor. There are plenty of wines by the glass to choose from as well. The menu is expansive, so you may need to go back a few times. The Wagyu potstickers were quite literally the best I have ever had, loaded with meat - savory and delicious. The presentation of the whole fish was pretty special. Our waiter and the other servers were highly attentive but not bothersome. We were too full to try dessert, but there were plenty of options in that category as well. Everything we ordered was delicious. We will be back!

Yelp
My husband mother in law and sister in law really hyped this place up! The ambience is wonderful, decor makes you feel like you're in another city. We were seated in the covered outdoor area , my only complaint was the flies. They need to do something about the flies because once our apps came you could barely enjoy the food without having to swat a fly away every few seconds. A mayor issue. None the less the service was great and the food was pretty good. I opted for the waygu truffle fried rice! The portion was huge and they did not skimp on the waygu! It so very flavorful and cooked perfectly . I also ordered the Jasmine paradise cocktail. It was very floral forward. It was definitely an experience but not something I'd likely order again. The crab ragoon were ok. The sauce seemed store bought and there could have been more actual crab in them for the price. The calamari was ok. Very crispy but seems to have more batter than actual calamari. We also got the mushroom truffle something app that was not mind blowing. It was quit flavor left but very nicely presented.A lot of places in Dallas have great ambience and drop the ball when it comes to the actual food. This place has lovely presentation , but could still use some work.

Yara F.

Yelp
Extremely attentive service, on extensive menu that was very accommodating to the allergies in our group, all in a beautiful restaurant location that felt more LA than Dallas. I love a good family style restaurant, and Maison Chinoise allows the flexibility of ordering individually or family style. We were seated at a table that had a giant Lazy Susan in the middle, which made it super easy to share! The prices are reasonable, considering the very high-quality of food you are getting. They had had some delicious nonalcoholic drink options on the menu, which is huge for me, and for folks who ordered cocktails they had nothing but good things to say. I would recommend coming here with a larger group so that you can try all the different delicious items, but it would also be great for a date night.

Yelp
Been twice, nice new restaurant, Peking duck is delicious. 1st time went 2 weeks after opening. Appetizers were a bit oily and bland. Went back and I think the oil they use must be what is effecting the taste for me. But the entrees that I tried was on point. The fried fish is a work of art. Had the shrimp fried rice and the snow pea tips in garlic sauce (I think that's what it's called) with it and it was the perfect meal. Had left overs for 2 days. A recommendation to management. The tables are way too small for a table of 2. There is not enough room to have all the dishes on the table. When you are busy and can't seat 2 people at a 4 top table it's extremely awkward and uncomfortable dining experience. That's a turn off for me. I still recommend the restaurant, it's beautiful inside and nice ambience, good staff, just don't want to eat on too small tables.

Yelp
We went to Maison Chinoise for a family birthday party. The ambiance was great and the plating of the food was lovely. The food itself was bland and over priced for what it was. The kung pao chicken and fried rice were both very underwhelming but the orange beef was tasty. The pineapple bao dessert was also very good. At the end of the day, we were shocked when we received our bill as we were given a drink we did not order, and instead of being comped it, we were charged. We also did not get a dessert free for the birthday which was a disappointment at the price point. In all, I would not recommend. Elephant East in the Harwood district has similar fare with a better vibe and a slightly lower price point.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places for delicious Asian cuisine and drinks. The atmosphere and ambiance are sexy and cool. The food out of this world delicious. The service always received with a smile. In fact I love this place so much it makes me want it right now. Definitely a must try if in the area.

Yelp
10/10 - such a great meal! It is very pricey for the amount of food that you get, but the food lives up the hype. The duck was the best I've ever had. The duck fried rice was just ok. The ube Nutella dessert was phenomenal (but that's because I really love Nutella). The ambiance is nice and laid back and cozy. The service is also really great. I can't wait to come back

Yelp
Loved! Loved! Loved! Can't wait to return! Food was great! Restaurant was beautiful. My only complaint is I asked for a glass of champagne and the waiter gave me a 28.00 glass without me knowing. Shaking my head. Glad I was there for the food and not the drinks!

Yelp
First time trying this buzzy spot - loved the interior/decor and the energy of the restaurant! Definitely busy and very much a hot spot. We had an excellent server, Ray. Super fast service and great recs. Apps: tried the crab wontons (not my favorite), soup dumplings (so good), waygu dumplings (good), and tempura green beans (so good). Entrees: general tsao's chicken (good), spicy crispy orange beef (did not like at all, but seems to be a staff favorite), Dan Dan noodles (so good), side of rice. Overall, food was hit or miss, loved some things and wouldn't order the "just okay" dishes again. Def interested in going back to order different things to give it another shot!!

Yelp
Visiting Dallas for a conference and found this place through a quick google search. Food - pretty good and portions are big. More on the fancier side so expect prices to match that. They have a few dessert wines which I rarely ever see, so that was awesome. Ambiance was great - perfect for a get together or date night. Service was fantastic. We sat at the bar and our bartender did awesome and even told us about the jazz club right next door (connected to the restaurant).

Yelp
All the food is wonderful but The duck is fantastic! We order it every time we go. Love the atmosphere and the staff are great! Highly recommend.

Yelp
PF Changs in a nicer setting. Food was 3/5 overall and when considering on the price, 2/5. Total bill $290 for three Service was atrocious. Our server kept us captive for 2.5 hours. We ask four times for lemons for water which took every bit of 15-20 minutes to finally bring. He had quite an attitude about us asking so many times. . $108 for a pecking duck that was a Costco rotisserie chicken; The skin was not crispy. The lo mein was very good. The tiger prawns, 2/5 In 2.5 hours, we had one round of drinks and not from lack of trying. They charges an extra 3% for credit card transactions over cash. I would recommend someone I didn't like to this place.

Yelp
Loved the ambiance. No parking except for valet. Food was ok. Food: BBQ spare ribs - very good Orange beef - good Wagyu and truffle rice - very bland and the meat was just ok; truffles was just mushrooms

Yelp
This place is a complete no from me. Although the staff was super attentive, the restaurant felt overwhelming with all the tables so close together. It also was very loud and just wasn't a ideal place to have conversation. The food was very disappointing. If you're used to authentic Chinese food, I doubt you'll like this place. It's very much an expensive P.F. Chang's. We got a lot of the different dim sum/dumpling options and then the chow mein and short rib. Maybe we were disappointed because we didn't get the Peking duck, but honestly, you're better off getting Peking duck from a real Asian restaurant at a much cheaper price . $100+ is just robbery. I will say the espresso martini was good. I get that this place is an elevated Asian fusion kind of place, but it missed the mark.

Yelp
We're very big fans of several Lombardi restaurants and we're delighted to hear that they were opening a Chinese place within blocks of our Dallas place. AND that it was going to be open late. Our first visit was generally favorable. arrived without a reservation at 11 p.m. on Friday night. the place was very full, a bit to our surprise, but they found us a high top in the bar area. My first observation was that it was very loud. when they found out that it was our first visit, our waiter gave us a little talk about the menu. He emphasized emphasized that the portions were all sized to share, so we elected to split an order of dumplings and an entre. when we ordered the dumplings -- the har gow -- he suggested two orders because each $18 order only had three dumplings. I almost added what happened to the "sized to share" conceit but thought maybe the dumplings were the exception. The dumplings were very good, though not quite the quality of these at Royal Sichuan which I think are the best in DFW. But when the kung pao chicken ($28) arrived, it was pretty clear nothing was "sized to share.". The portion of chicken was simply small. Probably a bit less than half the size of a typical (admittedly generous) portion at a Chinese restaurant; or somewhere half way between the size of an appetizer and a main at a traditional restaurant. But whatever it was, it wasn't enough to share. but again, the quality was even better than the very good dumplings. the interior is very nice, and service was quite good. my only quibble is the water glasses are quite small, and we're nit refilled as frequently as would be ideal. The two dishes we sampled were both quite good. I'm generally not one to pay much attention to the cost of dinner, but six dumplings, a smallish entree shared between two of us, and a single bowl of steamed rice, with no drinks other than water for $90 with tip caught even my attention. I suspect we'll be back, but not very often. I think even had we each ordered our own entree and just ignored the "sized to share" advice, we'd have both gone home hungry. It's going to take a double appetizer plus a "entree" to fill you up.

Yelp
Very chic spot. Gives the high end of a Chinese restaurant vibe. I arrived ahead of the rest of my party and so I waited at the bar. The bar staff was very professional and quite attentive. I got my first round of the Chinos Punch. I would highly recommend, partially due the cream/foam on top. As I waited, I sparked a short conversation with a couple who was eating dinner at the bar. They recommended their meal, the MC Imperial Peking Duck. My party arrived. We were seated, and we ordered lots of shareable items, including the Baked Char Siu Pork Barbeque Buns, dumplings, Crispy General Tso's Chicken, Chicken with Cashew Nuts and a variety of chicken dishes. We asked the waiter about the Peking Duck. He gave quite a pitch for it which included "we have the best and the least expensive duck in Dallas." I dont know about least expensive, but the MC Imperial Peking Duck here is phenomenal. The presentation was amazing, I kick myself everyday for not getting a photo. We got the left over duck boxed up and reordered the Buns to go. Great vibes, good experience.

Yelp
Everyone who is rating this place lower than a 4 1/2 star restaurant is out of their minds. I took my husband here for his 39th birthday expecting this place to be about 3 1/2 star place because of the reviews. This place is way above that. It should be a five star restaurant in Dallas. The vibe the music, the service was amazing not to mention the incredible food which we couldn't get enough of and we kept ordering dishes because that's how impressive it was. The dessert is also very very good and the bartender is probably one of the best in Dallas if you're looking for a sexy vibe spot to go to that has amazing high-end Chinese food with good music good drinks good service definitely go here, also check out the speakeasy next-door. It's probably one of the best in the city and has live music. Tip: make sure you are dressed for the speakeasy or they won't let you in! Ciao.

Yelp
I want to start by saying that service here is phenomenal & I would've given 5 stars if this review was on service & ambiance alone; however, this restaurant is truly over promise / under deliver in terms of food & beverages. To start, we ordered an old fashion & matcha tea. The old fashioned was average and the matcha was clearly not mixed well as the first 2 cups were watery and the last 2 cups from the tea kettle were extremely lumpy. Onto food: we ordered the coconut milk bread & spicy sichuan pork wontons to start. The spicy wontons were truly the highlight of the whole meal as they are noticeably homemade, perfectly sized, and rich with delicious flavors. The coconut milk bread was fairly basic rolls with some truffle butter. The butter was good but by no means notable in flavor or uniqueness. For entrees, we got the sautéed tiger prawns & prawn fried rice. The sautéed tiger shrimp were battered and fried which not only wasn't expected but was not cooked long enough as the fried part did not stick to the prawns and had no crunch. Additionally the sauce just tasted like a packaged sweet and sour sauce you could get at Panda Express. The prawn rice had 2 unseasoned prawns on top of a bed of under seasoned & overly oily rice. I was so excited for this restaurant to be great but the food has a lot of room for improvement. I hope they take customers' feedback to heart and to eventually try again later in the future.

Yelp
I really liked this place, upscale Asian. Service is great, cocktails taste delicious. We ordered variety of foods ( shrimp, crispy beans, wagyu potstickers, tsao chicken, scallops) and everything was delicious!

Yelp
First off, the food was really amazing, creative and delicious. The prices were relatively manageable. I will say that the songs they played were kind of cheesy and really dated (ie. Shape of you). Our server Will was really nice! Super funny and sweet, and helped us assemble our soup dumplings. The only real complaints are 1. The tables were really close together, so it was awkward because we were all listening to each other's conversations. Also, If the server wanted to squeeze between the tables, their butts would be in our face and touching our table. 2. There was an entire empty parking lot, but the restaurant had put cones in the spots so you were forced to use the valet.

Yelp
Had a terrible experience for several reasons. - Started off bad when we had to wait 30 minutes after our reservation for a table. Not a huge deal and we went to the bar. Here's the kicker - I was overcharged for a cocktail that wasn't on the menu. I asked for an old fashioned with Woodford ($14 on the menu) and when I got the check he put a $22 Woodford. Am I going to complain about $8 when I'm about to drop $200 for a meal, no, but it's the principle of it. - For the first time ever, I asked to move tables. Even after waiting for 30 minutes we sat at a table between the bar and server station. Within 5 minutes my chair and shoulder were bumped into 10 times. I sound needy writing this, but you have no idea how frustrating it is trying to take a drink with that happening. Final straw was a server with a tray almost falling into me. - After we moved seats, food took extra long to get to us. Table ordered after us and got their food way before ours came out. 2 hour dinner when we only got an appetizer and entrees and ordered them both at the same time. - The rice and dumplings were good. Don't get the rock shrimp. It's nothing like you would expect and not good at all. - Another small thing, they also charge you an extra 3% for using a credit card. Just seems a little petty.

Yelp
During my recent visit to this restaurant, although the food was exceptional, my interaction with one of the managers was quite unpleasant. My friends and I arrived as walk-ins for a party of three, and despite available reservations on OpenTable, the manager, who was acting as the host, claimed the restaurant was fully booked. However, upon entering the bar area, I noticed an empty table and asked another host if it was available for open seating, to which she confirmed it was. We were attended to by a great server who took our drink order. However, the manager, Lindsey, appeared visibly frustrated and confronted the server about our presence at the table. Despite his assurance that it was okay for us to stay, Lindsey approached our table loudly and aggressively complained about our seating, citing reservation concerns and table size limitations. Despite our attempts to address her aggressiveness, she remained confrontational and eventually stormed away, leaving our party feeling extremely uncomfortable. It was an unexpected and disappointing experience, as we had hoped for a more welcoming atmosphere from the restaurant staff.

Yelp
Everything was perfect. Food was over the top and very properly priced was what you get. Service was outstanding. I don't give 5 stars to often, but this is 5 stars for sure
