"Taieb Sahal, the baker at Maison Julien – Les Saveurs de Pierre Demours, was awarded the prize for the best baguette in Paris in 2020, when he was just 26 years old. There are several Maisons Julien in Paris, but the winner was the baguette 'tradition' from the shop on rue Pierre Demours in the 17th arrondissement." - The MICHELIN Guide
"The 2020 winner of Le Grand Prix de la Baguette de Traditional Française de la Ville de Paris, a coveted award recognizing the city’s best baguette, Taieb Sahal makes a standard-bearer for traditional Parisian baguettes. Crusty, airy, and with a warm yeasty smell, the baguettes at Maison Julien in the 17th represent French bread at its finest." - Dayna Evans
One of the best neighborhood bakeries for the daily baguettes, croissants or some special event treats. Services are quick, friendly and affordable. They will try their best to accommodate the non-french speakers.
It's lovely to sit outside facing flower shop and the maket if you enjoy people watching.

We tried the pistachio mille-feuilles it was terrible, it had a bitter taste.
We also tried the raspberry tarte and it wasn't fresh at all.
Worst experience in paris

Amazing baguette and croissant at this boulangerie! The raspberry tart was good too with a nice, buttery base. We came for breakfast and loved it!

Incredible baguette, one of the best I have ever had. Absolutely worth a visit if you're in the area.
You know it's going to be good when the locals are queuing out the door! While we were there they brought out a load of freshly cooked baguettes and half of the basket was sold in about 2 minutes. Ours was still hot from the oven!!
Incredible, I will be going back again and again

Overall quite nice but the products were all just a little bit less than we are used to in Paris. Also the toilet was very dirty.
