This place is truly a hidden gem — a gorgeous little nook that feels incredibly warm, quaint, and inviting the moment you arrive. The atmosphere alone makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. The food is absolutely delicious across the board. From the wine to the olives, every bite feels thoughtfully curated. The pizza is outstanding, the lasagna is rich and comforting, and everything we tried was full of flavor and made with care. You can genuinely taste the quality and love put into the dishes. It’s one of those rare spots where both the ambiance and the food are equally memorable. A truly five-star experience from start to finish. We will absolutely be back. Shout out to Jasper!!! Truly the energy of the place and all the guys and girls in the back are amazing!!!

Editing review since being back! Ive now been here a few times and have tried different slices they have. I have had a sausage slice and a mushroom slice (I believe it was a special) and they were both so so delicious! I also came and tried a new special they had that was topped with burrata, Parmesan, sliced green onions/scallions, and basil. The most recent time I went the crust was super thin and crispy, and the tomato sauce was super delicious very bright and I loved the acidity. The time before the crust was a little thicker. My friend got their cheese slice and to her it was good but not extraordinary compared to other places. They have a good sized menu of options and specials rotating. I had gotten a bottled drink but they have a nice wine selection to choose from to pair with your meal. The inside is cozy and they have a nice sized outdoor seating area. The staff were very friendly and helpful when l asked for recommendations. They bring the food to you as well which is nice. This place is very cute and would be great for a meal with friends or for a date.

Google
They do a great pizza. Beautiful flavor on the toppings. The crust is verrry intensely crackly and chewy. Delicious and enjoyable texture, but got kind of cumbersome to chew at the end. Better than Pizzasaurus Rex. I still prefer the crust at Federalist BUT as for overall pizza, I would hazard to say that Majka comes out on top. Service was friendly and the guy working the front was happy to offer recommendations for sauce, wine, and other drinks, and his favorite toppings and rotating variants. The inside is kind of small. It’s unpretentious and clean. Water is self-serve and you bus your own plates. Wasn’t too busy on a weekday afternoon and they have outdoor seating as well.

I just realized I didn’t even take a photo of the pizza! Which is honestly the best sign. It looked *too good* for me to stop and snap a picture. The atmosphere was perfect: laid-back but still classy. We ordered the pepperoni and the sausage pizzas (if I remember correctly), and both were so good. We planned on starting with just one slice each… and ended up going back for seconds because they were that delicious. We paired everything with some German beers, which made it even better. All in all, such a great spot, we’ll definitely be back for date night!

Google
Had the peach pizza last night. Awesome! The peach and Gorgonzola together were an amazing flavor match. The most creative pizza in Sacramento for sure with the best, freshest ingredients. I love peaches and Gorgonzola so this particular combination was extra cool! Thanks Alex. You guys are doing a great job here in Sacramento. A big step up from Cheeseboard! Looking forward to pears

Google
Majka keeps it simple—and slays. You won’t find a 12-page pizza menu with 8,000 combos here, just fresh, local, seasonal ingredients doing the most in the least complicated way. The star? “Today’s Pizza.” It changes daily and usually leans vegetarian, but always leans delicious. Think combos like yellow peaches, mozzarella di bufala, gorgonzola, parm, arugula, and Sicilian olive oil. Just had it and it slapped. They’ve got your classic sausage, pepperoni, or cheese pizzas too, but let’s be honest—why bother? The pizza crust comes with some cilantro-level controversy. I love it. Chewy, crisp, flavorful, and that tight crumb? Yes, chef! And the green sauce? Don’t skip it. Drizzle it on your pizza, salad, situationship—whatever. It’s THAT good. It's a very small space where you sorta feel in everyone's way a bit. Picture the chaos of a Trader Joe’s aisle but with better lighting. Pro move: grab a patio seat if the weather’s cute. Parking is a pain but lightrail is nearby. Parking is a mess, but the light rail’s nearby and worth it. Staff is chill, the food isn’t drive-thru fast, but it’s surprisingly speedy even when they’re slammed. How I break down my ⭐️ reviews: 1 - No. Not if it was the last thing on DoorDash. 🗑️ 2 - Meh. Maybe if I’m desperate, close, and high. 😬 3 - Mid. Not texting the group chat about it. 🤷‍♀️ 4 - Hella solid. Planning my next visit. 😋 5 - Shut up and take my money. Om Nom Nom. 🔥

This is our favorite pizza place in town! They have such great specials and you can taste the difference in their homemade pasta! We have been twice now and have yet to be disappointed. We can’t wait to bring out of town visitors.

Google
Wow! Majka Pizza is an absolute gem. I'm usually hesitant to try new pizza places, but I'm so glad I gave this one a shot. The pizza was absolutely delicious—you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. Every bite was packed with flavor. The crust was perfect, too. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Not only was the bread and butter, seasonal salad, and pizza amazing, the customer service was totally on point. We came on a busy weeknight with our two small children and they accidentally sent us the wrong pizza. It looked amazing, but getting a 3 and 7 year old to eat butternut squash instead of pepperoni would have been a feat. They offered to make it right and while we waited we just asked for a little more bread and butter to tide them over. They went overboard making it right and brought us double the bread and butter, plain spaghetti pasta for each kiddo, and a full baguette to take home. The nicest staff!

Yelp
I heard about Majka Pizzeria and Bakery being added to the 2025 Michelin Guide on social media and knew we had to check them out. My family and I went tonight for dinner for our 11 year wedding anniversary. We arrived a few minutes after 4pm because that's when their specials are available. We ordered at the counter and grabbed a table which we were lucky to do because within 5 minutes, the place got packed with people and was slammed until the moment we left. The inside is very small - maybe 6 to 8 tables maximum, but they also offer about the same number outside. They do not take reservations either. We ordered the Marinated Olives, Pio Tosini Prosciutto di Parma with Semolina Baguette, Tortellini in Brodo and a whole Pepperoni Pizza. Everything was really good - my family wasn't a big fan of the Tortellini, but I enjoyed it and finished the whole bowl. My daughter said the Pepperoni Pizza was the best thing she had ever eaten and couldn't wait to have the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. We also ordered the Gnocchi with Wild Mushroom Ragu to take home to my mom who said it was just okay. Staff was super friendly and personable. They were hustling around like crazy to get all of the food out. Overall, it honestly wasn't the best pasta that I've had, but I still would love to come back and try other items that they offer. I like that they offer a "Pizza of the Day" and you can order their pizzas either whole or by the slice - even a Roman slice! I also like that they make their pasta fresh! We will definitely be back soon! I highly recommend checking them out!

Yelp
A cousins birthday celebration brought us to Majka and we weren't disappointed. We entered the small business and were warmly greeted and our group order taken at the counter. Wine recommendations were great and we moved our group outside to lessen noise levels. We were grateful to have arrived before the line formed, and boy did it form - a testament to the quality of food that awaited! We ordered the sausage pizza, 2 little gems salads, 2 pappardelle w/Calabrese ragu, a couple of bottles of good wine and a shared slice of fig mascarpone tart. Let me just say: Yum, YuM, YUM! The salad was so refreshing and offered the perfect amount of sweet, salty, freshness one like me looks for in a salad. The peaches, toasted walnuts and Stilton cheese were nicely complimented by the lemon, mint vinaigrette. Pizza crust was perfectly cooked; the toppings all paired well, and the sauce knew its place, I.e., toppings were balanced. The pappardelle was also outstanding; noodles perfectly cooked al dente with a zesty spiced ragu. Majka has found our magic spot...damn, is it time to go back!?! Youthful service was really good, especially considering the number of customers they were accommodating. Our water was replenished and tables checked for empty dishes, or other needs. The crown of our meal was the surprisingly good fig tart. I personally wasn't sure what to expect, but was so delighted by the outcome. Fresh fig, creamy mascarpone, and a lovely base/crust that added the perfect amount of sweet crunchy contrast to the mascarpone. Oh myyyy. Our cousins meal was complete, so now we're off to find the artistic house my Tia and cousin affectionately call the "Tile House"...off we go for a bit more exploring.

Yelp
We were lucky enough to get a table and enjoy our pizza upon walking in. Great spot for a date night, cozy and dim! Everything was straight forward with self serve water, seating, and condiments. The people were very kind. I cannot believe we ate an entire pizza just the two of us, only had a few slices left to take home. I wish I got to try their special sauce-- but to be honest it didn't need it. One of the best pizzas I have had in a while. I was skeptical at first because I only love marinara or tomato based pizzas, but I highly recommend the mushroom one! Not overly oily tasting, crunchy, thin crust, the textures of the mushrooms really added great texture and mouthfeel. Can't wait to try more; I hope to bring more people with me so we can try more!

Yelp
This popular pizzeria and bakery reflects Midtown's hip and diverse restaurant scene. It feels trendy but offers authentic pizzas, breads, and pastries prepared with organically grown, naturally leavened yeast. They have an impressive wine list, and the salads and pizzas on the menu all look and sound amazing. The menu changes weekly, and they offer a "Pizza of the day" that changes frequently and with the seasons--not just a regular rotation of the same four or five choices you often see at other pizzerias. The daily special can also feature any one of their sweet or savory pies. Tuesday-Thursday specials are available from 4 to 8 PM and include a full-course dinner with wine pairings. Friday and Saturday specials run from 4 to 10 PM. The menu highlights seasonal fruits, fresh mushrooms, poultry, fish, herbs, and pastas. I tried last Saturday's "Pizza of the day," which featured baby Yukon gold potatoes, poblano chile, red onion, Bulgarian feta, mozzarella, Parmigiano-Reggiano, olive oil, cilantro, and lime. The suggested wine pairing was a 2022 Praesidium Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo, which I opted out of. I like that you can order any pizza or pie by the slice to go, which is what I did. I appreciated the focus on balance and harmony among the high-quality, fresh ingredients and the well-crafted dough. The crust had a crispy texture, a fresh, clean flavor, and a good char. Overall, I was satisfied, but it was not a memorable experience. It felt like sensory overload and was mild in flavor. In hindsight, I should have chosen a more traditional style of pizza. I tend to prefer a fresh, tangy tomato sauce with a couple of great toppings as a better barometer for evaluating the taste and quality of a pizza. (For me, nothing beats the flavor of that combination, along with a good layering of fresh cheese and a great crust.)

Yelp
Looking for gourmet pizza in sac? Look no further! Located right next to fire wings midtown and Cyclebar! This place is fabulous! They have what they call the pie of the day- which could be anything! It's made with fresh, local ingredients! They also have the classics like cheese and pepperoni that you can order off the menu! It doesn't stop there- they have homemade pastas, salads and desserts! Not to mention an incredible wine pairing! The staff that works here is so nice and knowledgeable! Check em out! They have a cute outdoor patio that is dog friendly and a limited amount of seating inside! You can also call and make a to go order!

Yelp
Love the pizza, roasted. chicken and ziti. The place is amazing! You have to make sure you get there before the dinner rush. You order the food, find your seat and then they serve you the food.

Yelp
I was on a mission to find the best pizza by the slice on the grid. This was my third stop. This was my second time visiting Majka, and I knew it would rank highly. I ordered a cheese slice again to keep it consistent. Majka is not your typical pizza-by-the-slice spot. It is definitely elevated, and with their recent Michelin Guide mention, they have been on my radar even more. The slice came out fast, hot, and served on a beautiful plate. I love that you can see in the kitchen where everyone is prepping for the dinner rush and making pasta. Majka serves a damn good but expensive slice. It is smaller than your average slice but packed with flavor. The sauce is excellent, fresh tomato with no added sweetness, herbaceous, and delicious. It may have needed a little more cheese, but it was still balanced. The dough is exceptional, crispy with the perfect fermented chew, like eating pizza on artisan bread. Worth the price any day, and I would splurge on a whole pie if I had the chance.

Yelp
I ABSOLUTELY loved the Rosa pizza here! I love tomato and the pizza was coated in delicious tangy tomato sauce. I loved the thin crust that was super crispy. We also ordered the pizza of the day which was SUPER mushroomy. Took about 15 minutes for our pizza to come back. It was pretty crowded at noon on a Saturday. I like that there's both indoor and outdoor seating and also the park across the street so we could take it across the street for a picnic. Owner also super nice!!

Yelp
Dinner with Judi M! Indoor and outdoor seating, street parking is 2 hours in the vicinity. Located in between Fire Wings and the mochi donut place. Decided each on the Pizza Slice + Side Salad Weekday Special ($12), a small plate, drink, and dessert. I had a slice of the pepperoni pizza (San Marzano, mozzarella, pepperoni), and the side salad of the day had little gems lettuce, Persian cucumber, cherry tomato, haricot verts, ricotta salata cheese, and a lemon mint vinaigrette. This salad was very good, I would totally get a full-sized version! A side of their green sauce comes out to $2, and does have some spice to it, great on the pizza. I also got a bottle of Agua de Piedra sparkling mineral water ($4), and the miso chocolate chunk cookie ($4). For the small plate, I got the pasta -- housemade cavatelli with sweet Italian frying peppers and housemade Italian sausage ($18). Their other pasta was tagliatelle al pesto genovese, but I went with the cavatelli per the cashier's recommendation. Their Pizza of the Day 7/30 had eggplant, tomato, ricotta, mozz, parm. Judi got the sausage pizza (San Marzano, Italian sausage, peppers, onion, mozzarella, parmesan, herbs) Slice + Side Salad Weekday Special ($12) and the Roast Pork, Sweet Corn, Cherry Tomatoes special/small plate ($20), and sparkling water ($4). Filtered tap/still water is self-serve at the dispenser past the register. The salad was super refreshing, and the pepperoni cups were crisp, and today I learned they use organic whole grains and wild (not commercial) yeast! The pasta was also yummy, with the Italian sausage being the star of the show. I also tried a bite of the roast pork was also fresh, and the miso chocolate chunk cookie just right with umami, salty and sweet.

Yelp
I've been wanting to checkout Majka pizza even before they got on the Michelin Guide. They're a small pizza spot that serves farm to fork seasonal pizza that rotate daily. On this particular day, I came when corn was the pizza of the day, which was interesting. I felt like I was biting into a corn on the cob, but instead of the Cobb it was a pizza. The pizza tasted great. I love how the quality of the ingredients is highlighted and how I don't feel bloated after eating. I also tried to sausage pizza which tasted great. The service was good as well all the employees seems like they enjoy working their, and I love the open kitchen concept where you could see them making the food. It's a small place so I would recommend this for smaller groups. Tip, get the green sauce, I didn't know about this special green sauce until I heard other customers order it. It's life changing with the pizza! Would be back to satisfy my pizza cravings!! Good place for something a little lighter compared to other pizza places.

Yelp
Came for lunch. Got their pizza of the day which was mushrooms with a white sauce. Also got a sausage pizza and salad. The dressing on the salad was a little overpowering with the plums and too sweet. We all liked the thickness of the pizza and toppings though. Was hoping to try their pasta and small plates but didn't realize it only gets served after 4 pm. Service was good. I would like to return to try more foods.

Yelp
Great food & service for a quick lunch! Can't wait to come back for dinner! The sliced pizza options were sooo good! And don't forget to ask for the green sauce!

Yelp
Majka Pizzeria in Sacramento is a gem for pizza lovers seeking something elevated yet approachable. The naturally leavened crust is crispy and flavorful. Toppings are fresh and inventive. Pair a slice with their MANDO green sauce and natural wine for a perfect casual night out. Michelin-recognized for good reason--worth the hype! Gnocchi was good, but pasta needed more sauce. It was super busy and the very limited seating is first come first serve. Not a very big restaurant so it wouldn't be very accommodating for a big group; however, you can just order take out. All in all, solid 4/5
google avatar

Mikayla M.

Yelp
If I wrote a 5 star review every time I came you would see 2 reviews a week from me. I highly recommend trusting them and just getting whatever the pizza of the day is, whatever the salad of the week is, and whatever the dessert of the week is. And if you want more food then try the small plates. I have never had a bad bite of food here. Service is always great, the people here love food and their jobs and you can tell. PS. Do not forget the ice cream, better than Gunthers I'm ngl

Yelp
Ahhh, if you can, definitely stop here for a slice of pizza, a cookie, a glass of wine, and some great conversation with the staff--you'll have such a good night. My fiancé and I came in for a single slice and ended up ordering multiple, sipping wine, and enjoying dessert. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. My fiancé wasn't crazy about the cookie, but I really enjoyed it. The ambiance is lovely--perfect if you enjoy a small, cozy space. They also have outdoor seating that's great when the weather is nice.

Yelp
Majka was good! I had a slice of their cheese pizza and it was yummy. It wasn't my favorite pizza, but I would come back and try it again. I just thought the pizza was a little too hard and it was smaller than competitors slices. Service was great though. The ambiance is also nice. I would like to come back and try some of their wine selection.

Yelp
I came in for two slices and ended up getting a second round. This pizza slaps. It's toe to toe with Skorched if you've ever had it. Based off of the variety and styles of a slice, there are slices like "slice of old sac" and "pizzasaurs Rex" this is more like skorched if you've ever been. The only difference is the fact that I can tell that their sauce is based off of a classic Italian margarita style, which means it's simple and sweet, while the salt comes from the pepperoni and aromatics from the herbs. The dough is super crunchy. I'd recommend this place to anybody in the immediate area.

Yelp
We opted to order take out, sit on the couch and watch Love Island UK. We got the baguette appetizer, sausage pizza and ragu pasta. Of course, extra sides of their green sauce too! Bathe me in that sauce!! We ordered online and picked up, which was quick and easy. The staff were so nice. Parking was surprisingly easy to find on a Friday night. The restaurant itself was pretty busy. I appreciate the optional outdoor seating but the vibes overall seemed cool. Will need to dine in next time!

Yelp
Friday Lunch A 2025 michelin recommended restaurant. We got pizza of the day: zuckerman farm asparagus, sugar snap peas, ramps, mozzarella di bufala, parmigiano reggiano, sicilian olive oil, fresh herbs Really good flavorful italian pizza. $32 for 8 slices for two people is a good price ($16 each). Would definitely return!

Yelp
It's giving west cost version of "The Bear" , the vibes, the pace, and the food really is something to check out. Super friendly staff . Roman slices run out after 4 pm in pretty sure. So get em while they're avail. Been here twice and plan to keep on coming .

Yelp
I randomly saw a ton of reviews suggesting Majka as a premium pizza place on a random Sacramento Reddit Pizza thread so it's been on my list for a bit. We stopped in tonight before our concert just because it was a little less than a 20 minute walk from the golden 1 center. I can't tell you enough that it was an amazing decision. We got a few slices to try- their Pepperoni and the Mushroom Daily Special. The pepperoni had pepperonis from head to toe, was thin and crispy and tasty all around. I will preface the mushroom pizza with the fact I'm not normally a veggie pizza person, but I do love mushrooms. The mushroom pizza was even better than the pepperoni. I would a billion percent recommend it. The special was the cremini + king trumpet mushrooms, mozzarella di bufala, parmigiano reggiano, RAMP butter, fresh herbs. I definitely can't wait to go back and try some of the non pizza dishes, they also seemed super good. It looked like they slice their own prosciutto in-house. If you'd made it this far into the review the last thing I have to say is if you're expecting a large NY sized slice they aren't as large as that, just order a second slice- it is well worth it! The service was great and the overall atmosphere is pretty cool. If you're a wine person you'll enjoy this place even more. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and super friendly about menu items and wine pairings.

Yelp
I had heard about Majka for a long time and finally got to try it! We tried multiple items: -Salad: Seems to rotate what is contained in the salad. It was refreshing, nice variety of toppings (included marcona almonds and nectarine or peach), fresh produce. I liked that the dressing was evenly distributed. -Bucatini zucchini blossom: the bucatini is made in house, which was intriguing, and it had a butter sauce, but the butter sauce didn't have much taste and could have used more salt. I would honestly probably skip this dish, seemed like something I could throw together on my own. -Pepperoni: solid, lots of pepperoni, good cheese pull -Daily pizza: had lots of corn, which I liked. The green sauce is delicious with this. Without the sauce, I think it would have been a bit on the plain side. I don't typically eat my pizza with sauce because it's usually pretty seasoned already. The green sauce was mildly spicy, and was on the runnier side (which I enjoy in a sauce...I don't typically like my sauce too thick/gelatinous) -Sausage: Least favorite. Sausage topping was somewhat sparse, and the pizza was a bit too saucy to the point of making the pizza soggy, and the toppings fell off of the breading. With all pizzas, the crust was delicious! I love sourdough, and I usually don't finish the crust, but I finished all the crust here! Service was very friendly. They were very helpful at describing what their menu items are, because the menu is not particularly descriptive for their pastas. I would say do takeout unless you're pretty set on dine-in. Seating is pretty limited indoors and outdoors, and you probably would not seat more than 5-6 people at a table. If you do plan on coming with a large party, you should probably plan on coming earlier. Parking is also somewhat challenging around this area (it is street parking). Dine in and parking are doable, but I would probably do to-go next time if I'm craving their pizza.

A long overdue review but I love this wonderful pizzeria! Majka's has some of the loveliest staff and delicious food made with care and fresh seasonal ingredients! They often go above and beyond to serve up the best dishes for their customers. Their pizza of the day and green sauce is always scrumptious and a must try! I highly recommend their mushroom pizzas! They've added more seats and tables inside the store but you'll likely not find open seats on Friday evenings!

Yelp
YES.. The pizza is good. You absolutely can't go wrong. This is our new favorite pizza spot. BUT HAVE YOU HAD THEIR FRIDAY + SATURDAY 4-10 PM MENU?????!!!!! Still get the pizza. Any pizza. Get the special green sauce too and pour it all over your pizza. But the special Friday/Saturday Menu is where it is at!!! The handmade fresh pasta that changes weekly is on another level. You can taste the love, sweat, and tears poured into every pasta dish. The small plates are just as great. Creatively made each week. The dessert options are killer as well. We went on a Saturday and by 6pm it was standing room only and there were already a couple of dishes sold out within 2 hours of the menu opening. We luckily scored a table inside instead of eating in the cold (which we would have done just to try this menu). We had: 1. The Bluefin Tuna Crudo - It was topped with citrus which I didn't think would be good but just melted in your mouth and infused it with wonderfully bright and savory flavors. 2. The Ravioli with Black truffle - This was my favorite dish. Drool worthy. The bounce on the pasta was everything. 3. Uni Pasta - this dish and the texture were amazing. It was a harmony of different textures while you chewed was unexplainable. It was crunchy, it was chewy, it was crumbly...It was just soo sooo good. 4. The pizza - we got the whole special. I liked how the pizza was thin but not floppy. The crust had a crunch but in a good way. Not in a burned way. 5. The olive cake - I didn't think I like olive cake, but as I saw every table devour a slice, we just had to try it. It was so good. We laughed as we polished it off. 6. Get the chocolate chip cookie The food here is amazing!!!! Yes, get the pizza. It's good! But also come for the special menu. The elevated small plates and pasta dishes are everything. Thankful for our new favorite family dinner spot :)

Yelp
Check out this place hearing they were a restaurant on Michelin guide. Best pizza in sac! We got the pizza of the day and it did not disappoint. The crust is thin and garlicy and crispy. The ingredients tastes fresh. And they have this awesome in house green sauce they make that compliments the pizza so well! Service was quick and the team is super friendly! The location is tucked in between cycle bar and fire wings. There's a little bit of construction next to it so you might miss it. Their sign isn't that big. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The inside is pretty small too. You order standing and then find your seat. I highly recommend!

Yelp
Had been wanting to check Majka out! It's a cute little spot. Friendly and helpful staff. They do have indoor and outdoor seating. We got the pizza of the day which had butternut squash, garlic, mozzarella, gruyere, parmigiano, fried sage, fresh herbs. I was a little skeptical at first, but it was SO GOOD!! We also tried the Gnocchi al Castelmagno which was so creamy and cheesy! Will definitely be coming back to try more items :)

Yelp
Amazing sausage pizza. It could have had more sausage, actually--but the sauce was soooo so flavorful and the crust had the perfect texture that it didn't matter. It was that good. Paired well with a glass of red that the very friendly person taking orders suggested. I wish I got the name of it. We also got the salad of the day which had goat cheese, white nectarines, almonds, lightly coated with some herby lemon dressing--and that was insanely good also. Memorable for sure. My family and I can't wait to go back and try everything else on the menu. We went on a Friday evening, and it was a bit too loud and too crowded inside. My only complaint is the current set up for ordering. If you want dessert, you have to go back in line at the register and there's hardly any room for people to form a line...The employees were super nice and helpful but hopefully soon they'll be able to offer table-side service which would help make the whole exp more enjoyable.

Yelp
Clean, no transients blocking my access, easy, free parking on Q street. One side is meter other side requires permit past 2 hours. A/c and chill music, not much decor inside just a few tables, noisy kitchen. Good to try a slice of my togo order with a glass of wine paired with it. Definitely not a full service, dine-in place, IMO. The unique, fresh tasting quality of their flavors make it worthwhile to try.

Yelp
Finally made my way here -- and DAMN! it's everything they said it was! Their specialties are where it's at, and their MATSUTAKE + golden chanterelle mushrooms, pine nuts, mozzarella, pecorino calcagno, olive oil, fresh herbs was truly incredible. We got it to go, but next time I will for sure sit down, get a bottle of wine & a few slices and try and eat my way though their whole menu. This place also has incredible green sauce (it's pretty spicy, but the flavor is lovely!) that probably pairs with every pizza, so get some, enjoy it, and buy into the hype!

Yelp
WOW! Fantastic pizza dinner spot - we split one pie with half sausage pizza and half pizza of the day (a mushroom medley with olive oil). Loved both of the pizzas but was particularly blown away by the mushroom pizza and signature cilantro green dipping sauce combo. We got the weekday special that includes a whole pie, salad, and a bottle of wine which came out to about $70 and thought it was the perfect amount of food for two people. Ambiance of the place was also on point. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
"Good pizza dude." 1st bite was like "WOOW" - garlicky / mushroomy / buttery / oniony: derived from their secret "RAMP SAUCE." Fresh bake-ness of the crust is noticeable from the flavor profile of the "1st bite impression." "Puffy Dude (Michelin Man) " that makes car tires has the ability to Kismet transformation. Looks like a Welfare line of "Foodies " waiting to get a flavorsome pizza. Majka made the "Dining Guide " and i was curious. -daily special pie "no meat, just straight shrooms" was very sophisticated. I liked it. A must try. *see above description for adjectives if curious - LOL. - sausages pizza; cost a little bit more, but taste a little bit less good. Still good, but not like wow or anything. - green sauce (taste like a citrusy / cilantro fresh salsa). Kicks the pizzas up a notch. You should try it. -the neighboring table's pasta and chicken looked hella good too. Will be back to try those next time. (o';'o)

Yelp
We had this place on our radar and once we saw that they were on the Michelin guide, we knew we needed to come by. We decided to do the pizza/salad/bottle of wine deal. I believe it was $64 which is a pretty good deal. The pizza itself was good, and I enjoyed my salad a lot more than I expected. The staff were really nice and helpful. It's a small space but a cozy place. Overall I do think it's a good place to check out!

Yelp
We got a pepperoni pizza at Majka and it was so delicious! They loaded up the pepperoni, the whole pizza was covered. The crust was delicious! We ordered ahead and it was pretty quick even though they were busy. The owner was very nice as well. We would definitely come back and try the pizza of the day! Beware no parking lot, just some street parking.

Yelp
I haven't had a single salad, pasta, pizza, or dessert here that I didn't absolutely swoon over. There's enough praise for their pizzas already so I have to give a shout out to everything else. The pasta is handmade, perfectly shaped and cooked al dente - the sauces are lick-your-plate incredible. Salads are deceptively simple but full of surprising, balanced flavors. The menu changes weekly because of how seasonal it is - so we get major FOMO when we miss out on new dishes... a sentiment similar to missing out on farmers market strawberries at the peak of summer. The unpretentious vibe + incredible food + fun front of house makes Majka our go-to spot for everything (quick weeknight dinners, special date nights, where we impress out of towners, and lazy movie nights w/ takeout pizza).

Yelp
I was wanting to try Majka for awhile since their pizzas looked unique compared to your standard pizza joints. They have a rotating daily pizza that combines various fresh ingredients to create a flavor profile you probably haven't had before. The pizza quality is pretty good, the crust is light and the pizza is easy to eat without falling apart. I feel like the one I got could have been better with some sausage or pepperoni on it.

Yelp
This place is an absolute revelation. It's in a super unassuming location close to Ice Blocks and is cozy inside. There's a hustle and bustle within the interior that you only really feel in a place that's putting out ridiculously great food at a breakneck pace. Servers, cashiers, and cooks all treat you with the most respect and answer questions diligently. Even during a pretty busy time they took the time to have me try out the wine I was considering first before I took the dive on the whole bottle (it was delicious btw). We had a sausage pizza, cacio e pepe pasta, and a celery root tortelli with king trumpet mushrooms. And OMG. I've been a pasta cook at VERY nice restaurants before, and this blew the doors off what I've made and tried. We'll be back often!

Yelp
I came to Majka after hearing comparisons to Cheeseboard (Berkeley, CA), but unfortunately, it doesn't live up to the hype. *Price*: Cheeseboard is around $24 for a whole pizza, while Majka charges $32 for a vegetarian whole pizza--a noticeable price jump for something that doesn't match up in quality. Plus, Cheeseboard throws in a free slice with every whole pizza order, while Majka does not. *Size & Crust*: Cheeseboard's crust is thinner, crispier, and easier to eat, whereas Majka's crust is on the thicker side. The overall size of a Cheeseboard pizza is also significantly larger than Majka's, making it a better value. *Taste*: Cheeseboard consistently delivers a well-balanced, flavorful, and generously topped pizza. In contrast, Majka's pizza--while fresh--felt underwhelming, overloaded with cheese, and lacking the same depth of flavor. The crust also didn't have the satisfying crunch that makes Cheeseboard's pizza so enjoyable. Overall: If you're expecting a Cheeseboard-level experience, you might be disappointed--especially given the price. It's not a bad pizza, but for the cost, I'd rather make the trip to Berkeley.

Yelp
Good food, good vibes and amazing company. Love their constant menu changes and daily specials, there's always something new to try! Mostly known for their pizzas, but don't miss out on their appetizers and pastas! I had their spaghetti shrimp diavola and it was spectacular, spicy and the spaghetti was perfectly cooked!

Yelp
We ordered here on New Year's Eve. When I arrived to pick up the pizzas, the line was about four people long and moving quickly. The service was remarkably friendly even though they were super busy and possibly stressed. The gentleman who was at the counter was super friendly and calm under pressure. Just a nice local place. Pizza, salad, cookies, extra green sauce--everything was quite tasty! We will be returning soon!

Yelp
Majka is an absolutely incredible place for food, drinks, and desserts of high quality. Their menu is thoughtful and well crafted. Everyone I came across was kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. There's a reason they're in the Michelin Guide!

Yelp
Was excited to return. Ordered two slices of pizza (pepperoni and Yukon gold), a salad and the gnocchi. The gnocchi was inedible...tasted like dish soap. Pizza was dry, lacked flavor and disappointing. Very unfortunate. Salad was good. Service was just ok...it was very busy.

Yelp
I highly recommend this place. Pizza slices can sell out quick, but the salad and pasta dishes are amazing and seriously worth considering. Staff are super friendly and make the space have a buzz but also comfortable in a small New York restaurant kind of way. Wine selection is better than other nicer restaurants in the area. Decor and sound attenuation both need work. Very stripped down. There is something there with the patchwork of vintage china (salad size plates) they use that could be explored more.

Yelp
Super nice staff, super good food. If you haven't tried this place yet it's a must!! We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a slice of the slice of the day. I loved it all!!! I wishI would have also ordered a slice of the mushroom pizza

Yelp
Fabulous pizza. Oh that crust. Such a nice option to get a whole pie or just slices. Indoor/outdoor seating. Counter service. Interesting plate ware. The smaller seating area encourages conversation with the other tables. Can't miss with the wine either.

Yelp
Best pizza I've ever had in my life. If it's not in the farmers market, it's not on the pizza. Majka uses the quality ingredient at their peak season and you can taste them in the pizza. We are so blessed to have Majka in our community. If you haven't had Majka Pizza, you are seriously missing out. Great wine choice at great value, awesome ice cream and I hear the cookies are awesome but they're always sold out.

Yelp
Oftentimes, our week revolves around the Majka's menu. The minute it is posted for the week, we are already excited to try a new pie. Not only is this the best pizza in Sacramento, it's some of the best pizza we've had anywhere, and we are unhealthily obsessed with good pizza (shout of to Nick's Pizza in Oakland and Friendly Pizza in Chicago!). The service is what you want from a pizza joint that takes its food quality very seriously, in that it's not about chit chat but about food. The way that this guy combines flavors is an art, and the green hot sauce is a staple in our house. If we ever leave Sacramento, this place will be what we miss most. I'd give it six stars if I could. Thanks for bringing incredible, locally sourced pizza to our big little city!
