I recently visited this nail salon with my children, and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. While the nail tech assigned to me was cordial, the service felt extremely rushed, as if the goal was to get us in and out as quickly as possible. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was the way the other techs openly stared at my children and me the entire time, making us feel unwelcome.
To keep my children calm and occupied, I had a show playing on my phone. They were well-behaved, seated, and watching quietly, something I was initially concerned about. Despite this, another tech approached me to ask that I lower/silence the device in a curt tone, even though it wasn't disruptive. It felt more like an excuse to add to the pressure of getting us out of the space.
The atmosphere gave the impression that my presence, and perhaps more so the presence of my children, was not appreciated. I could feel the other techs silently urging my tech to rush through the service. For a business that offers services to the public, I expected to be treated with basic courtesy, especially when my children were on their best behavior.
Needless to say, I will not be returning. There are plenty of salons that know how to balance professionalism with hospitality, and respect paying customers, including children.
