This spot was sooo good. Super fresh sushi and the hand roll was legit perfect — Chill vibes, nice people, and everything came out quick. Definitely a new go-to for me.

The place is very clean, well lit and very inviting, Gabriel gave us the best experience, very sweet attentive and kind. Highly recommend a visit even if it’s for a single roll of their very fresh tasting sushi. It definitely made my Monday feel great 👍

This sushi house is literally the best sushi house ever. I literally drive from Long Island to come here to just have sushi every time I find myself in the city. I can’t go nowhere. I’m drown to this place and it’s amazing. The staff is kind and welcoming the environment is so nice. I absolutely love everything about this place.you will enjoy it with friends and family. Hospitality isn't just food, service, atmosphere; but the pleasing to the eyes employees and their esteemed clients that loyal frequents the eatery. As self-absorbed and repetitive this may read I don't just go for the food but to politely gawk.

I love this little lunch spot and their hand rolls. The idea is so cute and makes eating sushi rolls a different experience. Not to mention they have free lollipops for Valentine’s Day.

A great place for a handroll after checking out Color Factory down the street. Soo delicious and fresh for a sushi chain. Really reasonable prices for NYC. Staff were really kind and place was spotless and clean.

Came here after a meeting across the street for a quick bite. Got two cut rolls - the spicy crab and the hamachi wasabi. The spicy crab was my favorite. The bill came out to a little over $20. The staff was nice, it was very quick (a few minutes to prepare), and the inside was clean. I would come back.

We stopped in for lunch after a quick search since we were in the area. Got there before the office lunch rush, so it was nice and quiet for a bit. We ordered the premium combo lunch set, the standard combo, and added three pieces of salmon sashimi. The fish was fresh, and the rice was surprisingly better than average--definitely stood out. That said, nothing felt particularly special overall. For the portion and quality, it leans on the pricier side.

This is a great place to grab a quick to-go meal. I only had to wait maybe 5 minutes to get my order to-go, and the price is pretty reasonable if you order the special of the day. There's also some seating if you prefer to dine in, and the restaurant is minimalistic and bright. The Spicy Tuna and Spicy Salmon cut up and hand roll here are good, and they also give you packets that say they contain real wasabi. I personally wasn't a fan of how difficult it was to bite into the hand roll because of the sturdy seaweed, but it didn't impact the enjoyment of my meal too much.

(Overall: D) - Overall, this maki place is an interesting fast casual take on sushi. Unfortunately, the execution was quite poor despite the reasonably premium price point. It is a shame to see regular ingredients treated without regard, and premium ingredients overseasoned to the point that it is no longer premium. If only the food tasted as good as their packaging, but unfortunately you cannot eat the packaging. (Ikura: D) - I do like the fact that they provide an abundance of ikura, but unfortunately it is so overwhelmed with salt that you want to book a flight out of salt lake. (California: F) - This roll was so poorly assembled it was a ball of rice on the bottom with two sticks of crab they didn't even fully incorporate it so it would stay in the handroll. Furthermore, it was quite disappointing it was not at least turned into a crab salad. (Spicy Crab: C) - I actually thought the mixture of real and imitation crab created an interesting flavor pairing that works quite well. Unfortunately, the assembly of the handroll makes me question whether the chef even knows how to properly assemble such a handroll. (Salmon Avocado: D) - This maki row looks almost like it wasn't handmade for some reason. Makimaki is a casual handroll and sushi spot with multiple locations. Friendly staff, clean storefront, super speedy service. We received our order within 5 minutes. Perfect grab-and-go for a quick lunch. They really didn't skimp on fillings -- the ingredients were generously packed and extended all the way to the bottom point of the handrolls. The seaweed stayed perfectly crunchy with their unique handroll wrapper. We seamlessly took off the wrapper following the instructions. Make sure to enjoy your handrolls right after taking off the wrapper because it gets soggy fast. - Ikura Handroll $11 ** - Yellow Fin Tuna handroll $6.5 - Spicy Tuna handroll $5.75 - Spicy Scallop handroll $5.75 * - Spicy Crab cutup (8pc) $9.95 * - Grilled Salmon Toro cutup (8pc) $10.95 Our favourite was ikura handroll -- the ikura added a rich and slightly salty element to the handrolls, while the fresh shiso leaf complemented the rich and briny flavor of the ikura. We regretted not getting two or more ikura handrolls! We enjoyed the spicy crab and felt that it went really well with cutups. Yet in the meantime we also thought the three spicy handrolls and cutup we had weren't spicy enough and the sauce were overpowering.

The handrolls here are fresh, filling, and really yummy. They provide instructions on how to unwrap the plastic wrapping and I recommend adding some soy sauce to your handrolls. The Spicy Crab and Spicy Tuna were my favorites. The Miso Soup is also perfect for a cold day. I got an Iced Matcha Americano which was refreshing! There are some seats inside but this is definitely also a good takeout spot. Service was excellent!

Probably too early to tell if I react. But I loved it here. The sushi was fresh , made sanitarily, decent prices and friendly service. I was headed to Glaze and stumbled upon this. I was craving sushi and this hit the spot Yum!!! Kinda clean ambiance. Nothing maximalist at all.

Very quick and fresh hand rolls! This place is a great place for a quick lunch meal when you're craving sushi. They have lunch specials which is great and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. Staff is quick and the restaurant has a good amount of seating!

The sushi was so good and fresh! If I lived here, I'd 100% come here at least once a week. I got the spicy salmon roll which was so delicious and the uni handroll which was so creamy (and shipped from Japan)! 10/10 would come back. The workers were also super sweet and the atmosphere was very calm and clean :)

A solid lunch spot serving sushi and hand rolls. They are more grab-and-go, but do have a few seats inside where you can eat and busk your own table. It's not too fancy, but good for an office lunch. You can order a variety of hand rolls and sushi rolls. They call sushi rolls 'cut ups' which was a bit confusing at first. They have a combo where you can get one roll and one handroll for around $12 or $18. We ordered the premium lunch combo and it came with a cooked salmon hand roll and a yellowtail roll for $18. We also tried the spicy salmon roll, which came to around $11. I found the roll price pretty expensive, considering a lot of other sushi places in the area usually offer 3 rolls for that price. Despite the inflated price, the food was good. I liked the yellowtail roll, it tasted pretty fresh. The filling in the handroll was also good--the salmon was so tender--but there was barely any in it. The majority of the handroll is just rice and you'll only get the fish in the first bite. I might come back if I'm craving a quick sushi fix around the office, but otherwise it's pretty overpriced

The quality of fish wasn't great. Very average. Service was good and space looked clean.

Decided to try out Maki Maki sushi, overall the food was good. I thought it was a bit overpriced for what you get- the hand rolls look big but the majority of it is rice. After the initial bite, pretty much all the fish is gone and you're left with a cone of rice. There was a problem with my order but overall it was good. Would I come back again?
