Mala fama is a club, not a restaurant, no food to be rated . The atmosphere is great. All the lighting is a big attraction service is good and plenty of tvs to follow any sport

I liked coming here, emphasis on the LIKED but the last time I went they charge me for something I didn’t purchase, I only had two drinks at their establishments and tipped but they took additional funds and have refused to respond to any of my messages. Whatever you do don’t pay with your cards here!

Good latin bar. I guess we were early but we didn't pay a cover. Interior is very nice and great for photos. I can't speak on the price of drinks as I didnt pay for any here but its typical of 6th street for drinks to be in the $12-15 range.

Super fun great time for a white boy in a LBJ Stetson. Big time energy until church sunday mornings. Asked for palomas and rusty nails all over austin and then this place got me paloma y modelos all night for $20 no tip enjoyably **EDIT**: it was 17 for a real paloma AND a modelo together. Maybe just my price but yeah it racked until morning

I want to give a huge thank you to Jesus, the manage of Mala Vida who also manages Mala Fama., and the people from Austin Texas. My daughter was in Austin 2 weeks ago to visit her cousin and was at Mala Fama. She misplaced her purse with her phone inside and was not able to find it that night. She had to fly back the next day so she had to leave without her belongings. I was able to message through instagram and to my surprise, the manager, Jesus ,text me back on my personal number that same evening and was so kind and helpful. He had the purse and all its belongings inside. This does not happen very often where there are still good people who do the right thing. Her cousin, who reside in Austin, was able to retrieve her belongings and send them back to her! Despite the scare, my daughter said that the club was great and she enjoyed herself very much! I saw the vibe on line so can to check it out with few friends, was ok, besides over price drinks with no liquor, I thought was just one of those nights, so brought another group, top floor bit masculine friendly to each other so lady's avoid it, they can do way BETTER WITH WOMEN'S BATH ROOMS ARE GROSS ALL 4 times! So they need to step it up, as for lady bartender there known to over charge females, bc they have this ideas women don't tip, well depending of your customers service, we work hard and earn money just like you, So if you want people to spend money in your stablishment clean all your bathroom, and keep honest bartender charging $20 a water drinks there is many places in Austin we can choose! To spend!!;/

Y sí la mala fama! No cover to enter, but beware! 20% tip is included. $9 beers are ridiculous for a bar that doesn't live to the hype. Don't waste your time and money. Go down the street.

Genuinely one of the worst bars I’ve ever been to. The bartender seemed annoyed that we were there, we asked for 2 basic drinks and was told they didn’t have the mixers for it. Once we got our drinks our bill already had a 20% gratuity. Awful overall. Will very much be avoiding in the future.
