An excellent dining experience from start to finish. We began with a crispy roll of Catalan rostit with plums and pine nuts—beautifully balanced, comforting yet refined. The croquettes were spot on: perfectly crispy on the outside with a rich, creamy interior.
The prawn tartare stood out for its freshness, paired with a well-judged, elegant mayonnaise that let the quality of the prawns shine. The warm leeks were cooked to perfection and accompanied by an outstanding hazelnut sauce, playing wonderfully with sweetness, acidity, and a subtle sour note.
The steak tartare was made with excellent-quality beef and a delicious egg yolk sauce, though a touch more acidity would have elevated it even further. The mackerel was another highlight—soft, juicy, and cooked just right, with a sauce that complemented it beautifully.
The rice with Palamós prawn tartare, prawn head emulsion, and pig’s trotters carpaccio was a refined, fine-dining take on a paella. The flavors were deep and well-defined, and the rice was perfectly al dente. The Iberian pork was superbly cooked and seasoned, with a mustard sauce that tied everything together brilliantly.
To finish, the desserts were really great—thoughtful, well-executed, and the perfect ending to an outstanding meal.
A restaurant that clearly cares about technique, ingredients, and balance. Highly recommended.
