Please do not waste your money or your time here. It’s not going to be fun for your kids and you will spend over $200 on something that shouldn’t require a reservation. Poorly executed, cute idea. Food is not what is pictured online, very obviously frozen with condensation still present on the items. Drinks are severely overpriced at $15 for a mocktail which are dyed tonic water and not drinkable. Fruit cup pictured is $8, everything is tiny with a full portion cost. Skating rink is specifically for small kids and floors are textured. Cleanliness was non existent, with the bathrooms being horrible as pictured there were used sanitary pads and trash on the floor. While we were there is was not packed or overwhelmed the only reason for this condition is lack of staff or lack of caring. As others have said gratuity is automated so there’s not real reason for extra effort from staff but honestly it just seems needed because management knows no one would tip based on what’s happening in there. Total lack of fun all around so they may be burnt out. Which makes sense

I totally get some of the reviews because it’s not like this was the best thing ever. HOWEVER it was fun to check out, the food and drinks weren’t bad, staff is very friendly, and there are a bunch of cute photo opportunities! We went on a weekday so not sure if that made it nicer but it was clean and we got a lot of cute pictures so I can’t complain! Now for my standard comments. Interior is kept clean and seating is comfortable.

This is an honest review. This place is exactly what it advertises. Nothing more. This is a perfect place for Barbie lovers to take pictures & take selfies. From beginning to end. The experience was just a look at the decor place. The food & drinks are on the same level as McDonald's. Nothing fancy. But no one comes here for the food, they come for the Barbie experience & that is what this place gives you. That being said, the prices for everything are WAY overpriced for what you get. Drinks, food & the gift shop area are ridiculously priced for the quality. I'm not a fan of the automatic gratuity of 20% added, but I was made aware when I made my reservation. If anyone expects a rainbow lodge quality food at a place like this, they need to open their eyes to where they are. For what could make this place better. Lower the food/ drink prices all by $7-3. Rename to Malibu Barbie Snack Shack. Have the staff wear different, more Barbie bright vibrant color shirts rather than the faded pink/ white shirt. My personal experience was decent. Not bad at all other than just the reservation ticket price & others was too much.

I don't now why the people is sayin the the experience is bad ....... I was 3!days ago with my family and a the food was very good, the drinks delicious ...... the personal is very very nice ...... The square is very full I always imagine that for the same reason the food takes a little.but mi familia disfruto mucho la experiencia . I'm talking about my daughters ..... because for us adults I think there's not much to see.

Came in today with my princess’s and we had so much fun! The food & drinks were really good. The atmosphere was a 10! Great job with the Barbie theme! 🩷

Once inside, we sat down to order food with the credit included in our tickets. My daughter ordered a spinach artichoke dip, a fruit cup, and a Coke. The Coke came in a very small cup, and for $5, you only get one refill, which felt overpriced. When the spinach artichoke dip arrived, my daughter took one bite and couldn’t eat it—it tasted off, like fish. We had to return it, and the waitress commented, “I don’t know what’s going on today, but everyone is returning the spinach artichoke dip. My apologies.” If so many people are returning it, why continue serving it? Next, we asked for the fruit cup, which never came until we reminded the server again. After 20 minutes, it finally arrived, but it looked old, and my daughter said it tasted stale. We decided to focus on enjoying the venue despite the disappointing food. However, the second floor was uncomfortably hot, and there were only a few pedestal fans to help with the heat. Overall, this experience wasn’t worth $25 per person. There weren’t enough photo props, the food was terrible, and the service was mediocre. I would not recommend spending your money here.

As others have stated, highly overpriced for what you get. Nothing was served on a plate as in photos posted by the venue. Plastic punch cups for our highly overpriced drinks. There were 7 of us so we paid $175 just to get in. With &10 each off ($70) we still paid almost $200 for very poor quality food. And that was sharing food! The kid working the souvenir stand was extremely rude. The venue was cute but we did expect more.

For all you Barbie lovers out there, Barbie Cafe is an experience you won't want to miss! A year after the Barbie movie hype, and now we get to experience it in real life! The vibe is super girly, so I had to make my reservation online before time ran out. Parking was easy but, you do have to pay. As soon as I opened the door, it was pink everywhere! I was expecting the staff to bring the Barbie energy with cute, sassy vibes, but their greeting felt pretty low energy, which was a bit disappointing. Oh well--I was still excited for my girl date. The ticket included $10 towards the meal, so I ordered a burger with fries. Not bad! I thought maybe they'd add a hint of pink to the food for the full Barbie experience, but I guess a burger fits the beach vibe too. Overall, the cafe is mostly about the aesthetics, with everything decked out in pink, but not a lot of interactive elements. I loved seeing the little girls skating around with their parents. But for adult Barbie fans, I'm not sure it quite hit the mark.

I will start off by saying it's very expensive to go here but it's a lot of fun! My sister and I were the only people there without kids (LOL) but we still had a great time. We took tons of photos and ate/drank delicious items. We had great service and everything came out in the perfect amount of time for us to enjoy our full 90 minute reservation. We went right when they opened at 10am but I can imagine how going later when it's more crowded would be less easy-breezy. I definitely recommend going but just know it's a pop up, so it's very expensive for what you're getting. We ended up paying around $100 for a two-person table and then another $70 on food/drinks. They say it's free parking but there are signs all over the lot saying you have to pay. It was only $5 but there's plenty of parking and honestly could probably get away with not paying.

I took my niece and nephew to the Barbie-themed café this past weekend. The entire space is decked out in Barbie decor, with plenty of seating available both upstairs and downstairs. For the adults, there's also full bar service, which was a nice touch. While the experience was fun for the kids, I found it to be a bit overrated and quite expensive. Even with GPS, it was tricky to find as it's tucked away in the back and not very visible. Make sure to reserve and pay for a time slot online ahead of time. The pricing felt steep--$39 for a single seat, $78 for a table of two, and $117 for a table of 3-4. Although each reservation comes with a $10 food credit per person, you still have to pay extra for both food and drinks. On the plus side, the food was really delicious, and they had a cute mini skating rink for the kids, which operated on a $1 donation basis. There were plenty of adorable Barbie-themed photo spots, and most of the kids (and even adults) showed up in their best pink outfits, which added to the fun atmosphere. However, considering the cost, I'd say it's more of a one-time experience.

I thought this was such a fun and cute pop up! It was decorated very well and had a lot of appeal. The menu is pretty small which not very many choices. I also thought the skating rink could have been a bit bigger. There are many cool photo opportunities and a gift shop which was neat. I hope they have more pop ups like this in the future! I am happy I got to experience it. Super nostalgic!

Extremely overpriced for what it is, but my daughters (4 and 7 year old) really enjoyed it. There are a lot of photo backgrounds, and admission includes $10/person food credit (drinks do not count) and $5/item product credit at the gift shop. The $5 product credits cannot be combined on one item- it's only $5 per item. After reading the terrible reviews about overpriced and subpar food, we opted to get dessert (ice cream and cake pops) only. Parking is $5.99 ish

I am obsessed with this Barbie themed cafe!! My sister and I visited last week and were immediately impressed with the decor. So many photo ops and it was so cute! I love the variety in ages that can enjoy this and the cheap roller skating on top of the tickets (only $1 extra). I also appreciated the vouchers for food and the merch. Allowed me to feel okay spending money on both!! Additionally the servers and staff were all very kind. The food was also amazing. My sister and I decided to split two of the shareable since we weren't super hungry. The spinach artichoke dip was literally one of the best I've ever had. The hummus was good too! I love that they got the pink color naturally from beet, however the taste could've used a little more seasoning in my opinion but was still delish! 10/10 recommend if you're a Barbie fan or are tagging along with someone who is!

I had the pleasure of attending the pop up Malibu Barbie Cafe in Houston. For starters it's a pop up, the kitchen is limited menu and closes at 8pm. I got the cheeseburger and fries, the burger was tasty and the fries were hard not terrible. Went on a Saturday late evening wasn't crowded at all. This place is so cute and perfect to take your daughters or a girl's night out. The skating rink is smaller than expected ,but does the job. A little slippery. This is a Pink girl's dreams! With the great picture props.I had a grand time.

NEVER GOING BACK HERE! People please do not waist your money! The service here was terrible. The servers have too much attitude and they are extremely rude. I asked for water twice and never received it. I understand it's a "Pop up" but to charge $20+ for a meal and bring it out in a paper bowl with a plastic fork is crazy work bruv. The salad portion was unacceptable. I ordered a salad with chicken ($21+) and it only filled half the bowl. The experience was terrible.

Attention to all who love Barbie. Just save your money. My wife and I came here to celebrate my daughter's bday. People need to make reservation to come here and its 25 dollars per person (2 yrs old or below is free). So, we spend 100 dollars because there were 4 of us. The food there were also very expensive. For an order of 1 burger with fries was 20 dollars. For a drink was 6 dollars. And we can only do one time refill. And the plastic cup is almost the same size of a shot glass. I hope you all can imagine how bad it was for us. If i rate the burger, it was 2 out 5. It was just very salty. I guess, people come here for the ambience and a unique experience. The design of the place is just ok, and not great. It was very plain. So trust me, just dont come here. It was a big rip off. I dont normally write reviews, but im so mad that we paid more than 200 dollars for a salty burger.

It is a bit over priced and there isn't as much to do there as what the advertisement makes you think. The worst thing is the skates and protective gear!! The inside of the skates were absolutely gross and sweaty from other users. The protective gear was extremely dirty, in ill repair and basically ready for the trash can. Service was friendly and good. The food was good. The entrance fee for 2 people was $80 which was WAY over-priced for the lack of things to do. The souvenir store wasn't too bad and the products were pretty good quality. I went with a friend and we took our 2 grand-daughters (ages 6 & 8). They had a good time but spent more time outside playing in a community play area for all than they did in the Barbie Restaurant.

The young lady taking my order really didn't want to work here. The waiters could use some serious training. I was so excited to come here, and I was instantly disappointed. I am never going back here again.

The idea is great and could be a wonderful experience if planned better. The contract service company used was absolutely the worst we've ever experienced. Very rude young ladies with no customer service knowledge. The bartender was not an actual trained bartender he was more like "hey hand me a beer" type person. We were served out of nacho paper trays and had picnic pack utensils. Nothing like posted pictures shown. The decor was great. Management of the concept was below giving a review for. And charging mandatory tips and the Barbie surcharge on top of the fees paid for with the reservation. Absolutely terrible experience.

THEY DONT HAVE COFFEE. It's called the Barbie cafe and they are open for brunch time slots but have no coffee. They do have a full bar which is just maddening. Food was okay. Only 4 entree items. Servers kinda have a crap attitude but they don't work for tips for that might explain it. A handful of photo setups but not what the advertising makes it out to be. Cute idea but definitely a "only go once" type of place.

It seems like food is included when buying a ticket but no that is just to get you in the door, way over priced! Although the food at the venue was reasonably priced I do feel like it should have been included with ticket price. The skates were very very dirty and someone should clean thoughts. My daughter did like the whole experience it just was not worth the cost.

I spent a ridicule amount of money just to be able to walk in the door. Then we had to pay for food and drinks which were way over priced for the quality and there were very few options. We could have ate at a 5 star steak restaurant for what I spent. I'm so disappointed. They were also short staffed it seemed so although our server was so sweet and he was doing that best he could you would expect for the prices to have more staff so they can be more attentive to the customers. I would not recommend. I wish I would have saved the money. My girls were also very disappointed.

dont waste your money here. on top of the $25 booking fee per person, they automatically charge you mandatory 20% tip from your bill. the food all comes from frozen bags and its so expensive and nasty. the service was bad. when we wanted to speak to the manager, he said we can go walk to him and refused to come talk to the customer. the "credit" back is basically fake because you end up paying it all back with their mandatory tip and expensive frozen food and all the drinks come in the smallest cups you can imagine and we paid $15 each a drink. even a plain water is $8. the worst place and experience ever.
