My partner always wanted to eat here so we finally tried it out. We arrive around 6:30 pm on a Thursday evening, it was not a problem to get a table for 2 in on the outside patio. We ended up ordering the Charred Ranch Salad (tomatoes and dill), and the Citrus Summer Salad (heirloom tomatoes, pineapple, watermelon, balsamic glaze) with Salmon added. Both were really refreshing, but I liked the Charred Ranch Salad more. We also wanted dessert and our server recommended the Carrot Cake (with glaze, nuts and oats). This was one of the best Carrot Cakes we tried. Also our server Casey C was great! Nice food, views and good service!

We’re regulars at Malibu Farm in Seaport Village, and it continues to be one of our favorite spots in San Diego. The food is always fresh and flavorful — the fish tacos and miso salmon are our go-to dishes, and they never miss. The view overlooking the water makes every visit feel like a little getaway, and the service is consistently friendly and welcoming. Our server this time was especially kind and attentive, which just added to the great experience. Parking in Seaport Village can be a bit tricky depending on the time of day, so give yourself a few extra minutes — but once you’re seated, it’s always worth it. Highly recommend!

A nice restaurant located in Seaport village with a great view of the water! Without a reservation on Sunday evening, our party of 2 waited for 30 minutes for an outdoor table since we brought our dog. PARKING/ENVIRONMENT: They validate parking so bring your ticket to the restaurant. Parked for less than 2 hours and we paid $5 with validation (normally $16). There were more outdoor/patio tables that are well covered than there are indoor tables. Most of the tables have somewhat of a water view. There were many SERVICE: Our server was nice and attentive. However our food took about 30 minutes to come out when we only ordered 2 items. FOOD: We weren’t too hungry and just wanted a light meal to enjoy the view so we only ordered a couple of shareable plates between us two. Beefy Seaport Nachos ($28): I enjoyed this a lot since they give a generous amount of beef and cheese. Served on a hot skillet and the chips remained crispy. I’d get this again. Cauliflower Crust Pizza ($26): comes with 4 slices. It’s the kind of pizza that you’d have to eat with a fork and knife. Really good, would get this again too! OVERALL: Great water-side restaurant with decent food! Make a reservation to hopefully get a good spot for the views. Don’t forget to validate parking.

In the heart of San Diego, Malibu Farms stands as a luminous testament to culinary innovation and heartfelt hospitality. This establishment invites you into a world where every element—from the meticulously thoughtful decor to the impeccable service—reflects a commitment to excellence rarely witnessed in our modern dining scene. The fried chocolate cake was nothing short of a revelation. An unexpected delight, the cake boasted rich, decadent chocolate flavors that danced gracefully on the palate, while its pillow-like texture conjured a perfect balance between indulgence and lightness. Each bite was an exploration of contrasts: a harmony of crisp, golden edges and a soft, sumptuous center that left a lingering sense of wonder and satisfaction. Equally impressive was the pork chop, a masterclass in culinary precision. Cooked to absolute perfection, the chop presented a beautifully seared exterior that sealed in the succulent, tender juices of the meat. With every bite, it whispered stories of careful ingredient selection and artful preparation—a dish crafted for those who truly appreciate the alchemy of flavor and technique. From the warm, welcoming service that anticipated every need to the meticulously curated decor that exuded freshness and depth, every detail at Malibu Farms was crafted with deep thought and care. It is a haven where the mind and senses are equally nurtured—a rare gem that elevates the dining experience into an art form.

Google
Decent restaurant. Food was good. I had the lobster burrito my girlfriend had the coconut French toast. Drinks were good too good views as well. I’m from the UK so they bought the bill quite quickly for us probably cause they wanted the table back and I’m okay with that because I wanted to actually leave other people may have a different pity of that.

Malibu Farm is an absolute gem in the heart of Seaport Village! The stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the charming pond with ducks surrounding the restaurant make this place truly special. It’s not just a restaurant—it’s an experience. The food is fresh and delicious, and our group of six was impressed with every single dish. Everyone left happy and full! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. It’s the perfect spot to relax with friends, enjoy great conversation, and savor amazing food while soaking in the breathtaking views. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable dining experience!

Google
Was looking for some lunch in Seaport Village and stumbled into this cute restaurant. We sat outside and got to see gorgeous views of the waterfront. I ordered the tofu platter and some tea, which pleasantly surprised me! For "healthy" options (this restaurant serves really healthy food in general), they can taste bland, but the tofu platter was packed full with flavor. Do keep in mind, however, that you'll be paying for the view that you see because the menu isn't exactly the cheapest. If you're comfortable with that, come by, since it's a great experience to eat here.

Google
Popped in for drinks - the location / view are great! Part of the reason you live in San Diego is for the chill vibes and good scenery. The cocktails were good but nothing extraordinary. The service wasn’t bad but not what I’d call good. We did wait a little under 20 minutes for our second around of drinks when it wasn’t busy and we were sitting at the bar — which was a little disappointing. All in all Worth checking out - they do have a happy hour but the drinks listed for it don’t look like anything special.

Yelp
Fantastic food and wonderful service! Andrew was training our waitress and he was absolutely wonderful! He seemed to love his job and he wasn't just kind and helpful with us he was to everyone I heard him speak with! Excellent experience and very homey feel with beautiful views!

Rafika A.

Yelp
Kambria was an amazing server and was very sweet. She helped us out with the menu and recommended us really good food.

Krystal R.

Yelp
Andrew was fantastic! He made great menu suggestions. The food and drinks were delicious. Very knowledgeable with the flavor profiles. He was extremely helpful and friendly. He made the experience for us! The views were beautiful and the ambiance was pretty. We are going to be returning patrons.

Yelp
I love this place and will be returning back. It is however pretty expensive. My kids each ordered a watermelon drink and it was $10 each. Not $10 total. Each. 1. Raw brussels sprout salad; it was really good and everything about the sale was perfect. I look forward to trying their other salads in the future. 2. Chicken entrée; I definitely will be ordering this dish again. The flavor is amazing and not spicy as in the description. It also comes with salad so don't order another salad. Otherwise it might be too much. 3. Kid's Meal: The kids entrées are healthier than other restaurants. I ordered my son the cheeseburger with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes had broccoli in it. I've never had broccoli in my mashed potatoes and now I might be making this at home. 4. Build your own fish tacos: this came with a fillet of Branzino. Everything was delicious and I'm glad I tried it. I like that they put quinoa in the rice. I could have used some more heat in this dish. 5. The carrot cake is amazing and I will order this one again. The carrot cake itself came out warm, which was perfect on a cold windy day. The cake is not dense like I like it, but it had a lot of carrots. What made this cake stand out from other carrot cakes were the toppings. It was topped with crunchy granola, raisins, and the cream cheese not the thick layer that you're used to seeing. It's melted over the cake. Just order it.

Yelp
Food was amazing- we ordered tofu scramble and mushroom wrap. Both of them were extremely flavorful. Ingredients were fresh so price was worth it. View was of course the main draw. Perfect place for sunny day brunch. Our server was polite and helpful. They are supposed to validate the parking and they did it for us but we still had to pay for it at the exit. I am not sure what went wrong there but we did not have the time to find out.

Yelp
Beautiful Saturday morning, walked into a busy little cafe while waiting for our tour across the street. At first, it was a bit confusing to see where the line began because the crowd was just standing around and no one knew what was going on. Once we figured out who was in line and who needed to take a seat, we were helped quickly. We ordered whatever was visible from their bakery display cases: a fruit bowl, banana nut muffin, and a brownie. They tasted okay, though I wished warming them up was an option (maybe it is). The fruit bowl was pre-made and a little too soggy for my taste, but it worked for a quick pick-up. The cashier was super friendly and talkative, which was a huge plus. Once we sat down, we saw a menu on the table with more items listed and then ordered a fresh OJ, which was actually fresh! (You'd be surprised how many places claim to sell fresh OJ and it's not, but that's another story). The cafe was clean and spacious, except for that section. I think adding some signage for where the line starts would make the visit and experience more enjoyable.

Yelp
Taste and presentation and quantity was unbelievable! I was a little hesitant after looking at the prices but definitely worth every penny. All the coffees in the group were enjoyed - Cappuccino, Americano and Latte. All presented well too. Chicken and Broccoli Quesadilla - God this is an appetizer to share on the table.. the flavor was really unbelievably good. Not super super, simply cheesy but just the right amount of everything going on. Definitely do not think that a chicken and broccoli quesadilla would be good! Vegan Chop Salad - quite a large and hearty salad. We considered asking about adding chicken on top but then got the tacos instead for protein. Good decision there because this salad was really large! Ask for the dressing on the side and only added a little because we didn't need too much. The squash and beads added a lot of flavor in there and there was a generous amount of chickpeas as well! Green Chicken Tacos - so huge!! I was skeptical about getting this after seeing the price and that it was only three tacos but after looking at the amount of chicken that was on there I think even half the amount of chicken would have been enough for one taco so it was really, really and overloaded taco! Very flavorful though, but just the right amount of cheese and beans on the bottom. Coconut French Toast - just wow! We had this as dessert after the salad and tacos and it was a really good one. The crispy pieces were so nice and even the soft ones on the inside! Just the right subtle amount of coconut flavor that wasn't too strong. They used crushed fresh cranberries (probably coz we went on New Year) for the fruit topping and I think some other berries like strawberries or blueberries would have been better because the cranberries are a little too tart. Otherwise really nice Swedish Mini Pancakes - Friend got this item and she said it tasted nice but from looking at it I felt like there was quite a small portion size on that plate. Fried Egg Sandwich - And at the friend got this one and it really was quite a large sandwich. Seemed very perfect for brunch and like it actually tasted good with that perfectly cooked fried egg there. Beef Burger - And at the large potion size item here. I didn't try this but the friend who got it finished it real quick. They also said that the puree (It look like mashed potatoes but I'm sure it was some other vegetable) was exceptional!

Yelp
This place has incredible views from every spot in the restaurant--you can sit back and watch boats in the water, people jet skiing, or just enjoy the lively atmosphere of Seaport Village. The food is exquisite and packed with healthy options, which I love! The coconut ceviche is a standout, and their carrot cake is an absolute must-try. I also love their fresh watermelon juice, and the coffee is always on point. It's the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a great meal, and soak in the beautiful scenery. Staff is incredibly nice too.

Yelp
Farm to table fresh food was chefs kiss!! The views here are beautiful. We sat inside this time and still had a beautiful view of the water and sunset. The serivr was quick and helpful, even though the restaurant was full. Brought my family here while they were visiting town.

Yelp
Great place for brunch at seaport village. Great views and yummy brunch food. Had their french toast-- which had a bread pudding vibe, and their lobster burrito. Must try both. Additionally, they have a children's menu. Yummy coffee and matcha. Probably best to get here early. Also there's parking validation, makes it a little cheaper.
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
Besides the view being really nice and the server being really sweet--this place has extremely small portion sizes that wouldn't fill up a toddler and their water is NASTY. Their water tasted like chlorine or bleach which was shocking for a place that looks so nice. The French toast did taste good but the portion size was absolutely ridiculous. I came here with my classmates after a final and we were able to get good seating quickly despite being a large group. There weren't many customers at the restaurant but the service and time to cook the food was tooooo slow. The majority of our group even after eating left hungry because of how small the portion sizes are. Go here if you don't eat much or just want a spot that's INstagram post worthy but besides that it's not really worth it
google avatar

Soni B.

Yelp
The location is absolutely stunning--right next to the water, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal with a view. The food is top-notch--everything feels fresh, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. I also loved the drinks, which really hit the spot. We also checked out the coffee shop downstairs, and it's the perfect place to wfh. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to--whether for a meal with friends or a solo workday in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This place is by the water and has a gorgeous view. Unfortunately their food isn't as good. We got the catch of the day - halibut. Oh boy let's say it's so dry and rubbery that all three of us didn't even finish half of our dishes. Truly sad that they couldn't make halibut right. We had high expectations since it's $42. I'd rather go to fish market, buy a while fish and cook it myself.
google avatar

Misa O.

Yelp
The coffee & food was divine. I tried a bite of the chicken bacon ricotta burger, fried egg sandwich, and yogurt and granola. All were delicious. This spot is pricey as expected but you're paying for the vibe (which is worth it for the beautiful view of the ocean). Service could've been a bit faster but everything else was so perfect, it didn't bother me much.

Yelp
I visited Malibu Farm for afternoon drinks. it was near my hotel and recommended for good margaritas. The staff were nice and friendly. When I visited Malibu Farm, it was around2:30 in the afternoon. The Restaurant was transitioning their service so I ordered drinks at the bar and enjoyed the sun from the outside patio. I selected the Papaya and Smoke cocktails. Again, it was the perfect place for mid afternoon cocktails and enjoying the sun. It is perfectly located so I was able to see kite flying and helicopters. November 2024

Yelp
Five starts for Ambiance, service and even the food. I would give this place 4.5 stars if I could, it's just a tiny bit pricey IMO. The location is incredible, the views etc., I could stay here all day and enjoy the boats going by, the people watching etc. My meal was delicious, but a bit pricey for chicken and greens. My companions meal was interesting (Make your own tacos) and she said very good. I wish we had tried the coffee from their cute coffee shop downstairs, but now we have a reason to go back.
google avatar

Donna Blue H.

Yelp
Flavorful and abundant. Alissa was our server and her recommendations were right on. I had the fish tacos and the branzino was crispy and cooked perfectly. Hubs had the breakfast burrito and it was packed with perfectly cooked eggs. Pup had the salmon and she will be eating that for days. Great view was the perfect compliment to our meal along with the kale and apple mimosa. Yum.

Yelp
Long wait in the lunch rush had me about to walk away - poor planning on my part meant I had a Zoom call to hop on soon - when my seat opened up. I asked the waiter Gerardo what could be put together fast and he recommended the Rancheros. I thought I'd be waiting another 10-15 but he and the chefs managed to get it to me in probably 5 min or so. Excellent accommodation and service! The rancheros were delicious and I wish I could have taken more time to enjoy them. Regrettably too, they had sat me in a really beautiful spot with great views! So, my loss all around - but an excellent restaurant.

Yelp
What a wonderful day. When arriving the staff was extremely polite and welcoming. Our server was attentive, authentic, and kind. The view is beautiful. The food is delicious and so dang fresh. I am so excited for when I get to enjoy another breakfast/brunch here. We went a little over the top, with swedish pancakes, chocolate cake, huevos rancheros and a scramble. My friends latte got cold and they even made her a new one so she could enjoy it warm.
google avatar

Liv L.

Yelp
I really like this place coz it's nicely decorated, and I feel like I'm in a farm house. I didn't get a chance to try their food, but their matcha latte was good although they can only offer this in one size so I was disappointed about that! Service can be better, because the young lady who helped us has a little bit of an attitude but I also feel sorry for her coz she's all by herself and no one else was around to support her.
google avatar

Yelp
What a great spot! The entrance to this place can be confusing. As I watched one after another. Walk to the side door from the bay side. To turn around and figure out weee it was. There are little arrows looting you in the right direction. Up and around the corner. But then. You can't miss it. So don't get discouraged. We arrived. A party of two. With no reservations on New year's Eve.. and only had to wait for 20 min, where we were escorted to the outdoor patio w a view! PERFECT! Their menu is small., which I like better than flipping through page after page to figure out what to eat. We both ordered the chicken records the burger with broccoli mashed potatoes, and it was so good. Both of our eyes rolled back in her head while we hummed and chewed. So so good. The flavors of ricotta mixed into the chicken burger is genius. Our Server was fast , professional, and consistent. We both left shaking our heads.. saying. Yep, definitely coming back..

Yelp
We had out Holiday party here and were seated outside the patio to enjoy the nice view. It was December so it was a bit chilly. There were outside heaters but I didn't feel them working. Luckily I wasn't too cold because I had my holiday sweater on. I was debating on what to order. I wanted both savory and sweet but didn't want to order 2 different dishes so I ended up ordering the breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito haf chicken sausage, eggs, peppers, onions, black beans and cheddar jack cheese. With so mulany ingredients, you'd think it would be a great burrito but it was lacking flavor. The beans were underseasoned and the chicken sausage was bland. The fresh salsa helped enhanced the flavor of the burrito. It didn't taste bad but it wasn't a great burrito. The side of potatoes that my meal came with were cooked to perfection! I give Malibu Farm props for that. And the presentation of my plate was nice. I just wish the burrito was good. My coworker ordered the fried egg sandwich and it looked really good. I should have ordered that. Overall, I thought my experience was mediocre at best. I did like that my coffee was refilled promptly and service was nice.
google avatar

Mimi L.

Yelp
Great views, friendly service, and pretty good brunch menu. We ordered the Coconut French Toast and the Rancheros and both were delicious. The French Toast was not overly sweet and the Rancheros mixture blended together to be a savory dish. Both were portioned just right, but if you are used to getting ridiculously large portions, then it may feel small in comparison. One star lost as apparently we were to be seated sooner, but their text did not get sent to my phone. Would have been helpful if they tried to call out my name. If I had not taken the initiative to inquire after an hour wait that was suppose to be only 30-35 minutes long, we probably would have either lost the table because they thought we had left or had to wait even longer.
google avatar

Hanna S.

Yelp
100% recommend coming here on a warm and sunny day for brunch. It is so lovely to sit outside on their patio with the view of the park and water. It gets really busy so timing is everything since they don't take day time reservations. I really loved their mini pancakes and would love to come back and try other dishes along with their dinner menu.

Yelp
We dined at Malibu Farms in Seaport Village after a morning at The New Children's Museum. My family and I were looking for a fresh and somewhat lighter selection for lunch since we've been having plentiful and heavy eats deep in the holiday season. FOOD/ DRINKS Burrata salad had arugula, sliced persimmons, candied pecans, dried barberries, burrata cheese (on the side), with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The salad tasted balanced; fresh, light, and so yummy. 'Bu beef burger, grass fed burger, havarti cheese, tomato, marinated red onions, aioli on brioche bun with broccoli mash and a small side house salad. My husband ordered the burger and was very happy with the choice. I took a bite, and the meat was juicy and the brioche bun was soft. Surprisingly, the broccoli mash was very tasty and smooth. LOCATION A farm to table restaurant in Seaport Village and feels like an anchor spot. Malibu has indoor and outdoor seating. On a great day you can catch a beautiful view of the village, water, and boats. SERVICE We were greeted right away by the host and it helped that the lunch rush didn't hit yet. We got seated right away and got good and a friendly service from our server. PARKING There is a huge parking lot for the Seaport Village. I was expecting to pay but the parking cost ended up being more and we were just there for lunch. As a friendly reminder, check the parking price because it is not free. The restraint does not validate. Next time we are in town, would consider dining at Malibu Farms. We have had a great experiences across the different Malibu Farm locations; Malibu, Newport Beach (Lido), and now San Diego. Also, we know we can count on Malibu Farms to find food we will enjoy.

Yelp
Got seated right away for a weekend. Thank you so much to the hostess for being able to give us a table with a fantastic view. The food is not amazing but it is not terrible either. The drinks are what makes this place in my opinion. I had the papaya cocktail and it made my taste buds ecstatic. I had to order a second one. I will be back for the drinks. I ordered the trio tacos. They would have been better if there was lime and some salsa to pair with them. It was a bit bland, despite all the toppings already on them.
google avatar

Stephanie V.

Yelp
The food was great!! Coffee wasn't very tasteful It was a nice experience over all The view is very nice If you're lucky you'll get a good view seating.
google avatar

Dena H.

Yelp
I came here for lunch and enjoyed my time! The food here is very delicious. We shared the cheeseburger and the burrata salad. Both were extremely delicious and flavorful! The burrata salad was my favorite.
google avatar

Candice H.

Yelp
Absolutely gorgeous restaurant overlooking the bay. The second floor has a great indoor & outdoor view and requires you to be seated by a host. I was told that the wait can be long on weekends but my party of 4 got lucky and was seated right away. The first floor has a cute cafe and also a gorgeous indoor & outdoor space, and is first come first serve. I ordered their Burata Salad which was fresh and delicious, a bit on the pricier side but this is reasonable considering its location and view. My only recommendation is to fix their door on the 2nd level as it doesn't ever close properly despite the waiters' effort to close it every 5mins. It does get really cold during the winter especially on a windy day. My entire party kept our jackets on the entire time.
google avatar

Luna Q.

Yelp
Brunch was a hit. The area is good, nice views. Perfect weather for outdoor patio seating. I had a great time.
google avatar

Anissa E.

Yelp
Great food, great views and even better service! server Omar did an amazing job! Try the surfers rancheros, you won't be disappointed!
google avatar

Rosy C.

Yelp
Stopped by during a few events I attended in the area. The place is super spacious. The downstairs is a a mix of a cafe and eatery. The upstairs is a dine in option. There is also an outdoor patio on each level. The upper level has an amazing view of the bay, Coronado bridge, and Coronado itself. I ordered the ranchero plate which was an interesting take for an egg plate. It had veggies layered on top of a tortilla with a medium egg laid on top. I would order it again. I believe the patios are dog friendly.

Yelp
First impressions...the restaurant itself beautiful. The view, the table setting, just so lovely and simple. Love it. The food was delicious, everything I had hope and my body was grateful for such a fresh way to start the day. The stunning raspberry mocha coffee....perfection! The meal suggestion, and coffee from my awesome waitress Mo was exactly what I was looking for. Mo thank you for the fantastic recommendations, as well as the tips about my first visit to your city. If you are looking for a fantastic meal, with incredible service, choose Malibufarms and ask to be seated at Mo's table! Perfection
google avatar

Monica S.

Yelp
Restaurant does not take reservations and does not really answer the phone when called. Paid parking in the lot, they do not validate. The three of us shared plates, and all were very tasty! We got the surfers rancheros, fried egg sandwich, and the breakfast burrito which were all recommended by our waiter. He said the surfers rancheros and fried egg sandwich were two of the most popular items on the menu. I also got an espresso martini (which was much needed), maybe not the best I've had but did the trick. We were sat outside on the porch and it was beautiful, nice views. We walked around afterwards near the water.
google avatar

Maayan Y.

Yelp
So... I did go again! The food was again mediocre to be honest. We didn't love it but we went for the view and my husband wanted to give it a try. Ordered completely different items and still disappointed with the food. View was again spectacular! Mostly service was good but felt a bit impersonal.

Yelp
I will never stop going to Malibu Farms in San Diego! Not only is their food fresh, organic and delicious, but you can't beat the view of the SD harbor! I always have to get the coconut ceviche because its flavors are so fresh and delicious with just a slight kick from the chili. Recently obsessed with the mushroom wrap!!! It's soooo good - if you love mushrooms, you have to get it.
google avatar

Edgar K.

Yelp
a party of 30 with 6 kids running around - Liz KILLED it. If you have a big party, i suggest you ask for her. Patient, efficient and attentive from start to finish. Thanks, Liz

Yelp
I am visiting from Kansas City but the next time I am in San Diego, I am definitely coming back to this place! I tagged along on one of my husband's work trips, and while he was in meetings all day, I went exploring. I found Malibu Farm in Seaport Village offering a spectacular view and incredible cocktails and food! I ordered the Yuzu Melon, a drink so delicious it is dangerous. I ate the crab cakes and the coconut ceviche--both exceeded my expectations! My server (Oscar?) was wonderful and I couldn't offer a stronger recommendation--check this place out!
google avatar

Mickayla M.

Yelp
Wow- what can I say. Amazing, amazing views and food equally as amazing. I rarely get to go somewhere and truly feel like the food exceeds expectations. New favorite spot. If you go ask for VANESSA. Her service was above and beyond. Attentive, kind, anticipated needs before we even had to ask. You'll have the best possible experience sitting in her section. Promise.
google avatar

Yelp
Mo The best recommendations and service!!! Loved the quesadilla and nachos, would recommend for a light lunch!
google avatar

Kareem A.

Yelp
Food was super good, very pricey. Nice restaurant with good outdoor. The service was great as well. Was pretty disappointed in the fish ceviche which didn't have any flavor.
google avatar

Shena R.

Yelp
I was not expecting much but this place did not disappoint. There is a parting lot right next door ($5 for 3 hrs) and the service, music and food were good. I came here for brunch and although they didn't have what other places normally serve, what I tried was delicious. I would recommend!
google avatar

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
This was a beautiful restaurant with pier views. The interior is beautifully decorated. Tried the cold brew while our table was ready. Showed up at 9:45 and there was about 20 min wait. Once we were sat the restaurant got much busier. Tried the fried egg sandwich based off reviews and it was delicious! The potatoes that accompanied were also delicious.
google avatar

Christine R.

Yelp
Their food and wait staff is great, but the hostess situation is a mess. There's a waitlist and even when you show up on time you are still required to wait - which is not a big deal really, but they were (1) kind of dismissive of us when we tried to check in on timing, and (2) took a note on seating us at a table with a view (we had an out of town guest), but then we were seated towards the entrance with no views whatsoever. That definitely left a bitter taste in our mouths before we even had our food. Once we were seated the situation improved drastically - food was fantastic and our waiter was amazing

Yelp
Lovely place! The view is outstanding. I went for brunch and got seated right away at an ideal table. I ordered the green scramble. I liked the flavors a lot & was a good portion. I'd order it again. The server was very friendly & helped us celebrate my friends birthday. I don't even like chocolate cake but we shared the grilled chocolate cake. This was so unique and delicious. It comes warm and there is a crispness I haven't gotten anywhere else. I'd come again just for the cake! If any feedback, my entree came lukewarm. As much as I wanted a mimosa, I didn't think to get it for $16. Some entrees and drinks are pricy.

Yelp
Was initially confused where to post this as there are 2 listings for Maibu Farm but I'm thinking this is the appropriate spot since it has many reviews unlike the other spot! Was on my way back to my car from walking and spotted this coffee shop that I hadn't been to yet so decided to pop in and give it a try. I had the maple sage latte, seems there's only one size available, the drink was good but wasn't spectacular....I could barely taste the sage and tasted no maple at all. I was surprised this small little latter cost almost $9 bucks!! The coffee shop was empty so service was fast, the staff were nice and the shop itself was clean, well lit and there was plenty of seating, tables and chairs. It's a cute little spot but the coffee is quite pricey.

Yelp
Feeling complete and taken care of! Ask for Liz for a splendid experience. We had about 30 people, worked with Suzy to plan the brunch for a surprise party. When we arrived, everything was set up and ready to go! We had a set menu and everything was delicious, came out on time, and service was so smooth. There were other servers helping to ensure our experience was superb and it was. We had many liquor drinks, non liquor and 6 kids at our table under 6 years old. Wonderful experience. Beautiful views!

Yelp
This review is for the Malibu Farms Cafe downstairs and not the restaurant portion: I ordered the iced strawberry matcha latte with oat milk and it was honestly so awful. The drink looked cute when I first got it, but I was deceived by the appearance. No strawberry flavor whatsoever and a vague hint of matcha if you're consciously looking for it. Thought maybe it was just me and had my friends try it without telling them what it was. They were floored when I told them it was a strawberry matcha latte. Absolutely vile that they charged $9 for such a small cup of grainy tasting oat milk. A relative got the seasonal drink (pomegranate sparkling lemonade) for $8 and she was also deceived by the looks. It just tasted like a regular lemonade from the grocery store with no pomegranate flavor at all. Malibu Farms itself looked really cute and had plenty of seating, and the service was okay, but probably won't be going again to the cafe. Would be opened to trying their restaurant next time though.
