If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The food was impeccable. I needed a specific menu with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, and Mama Lamees exceeded my expectations. She worked closely with me, accommodating my every request, and I have yet to find better Palestinian/Arabic food in the Bay Area. The team was communicative throughout, and the food was delivered perfectly on time—hot and fresh for my guests. I will 100% be using them for future events!

The food is absolutely delicious. You can tell it's all made from scratch with love. They did a great job accommodating our dietary restrictions, and the portions were generous. In terms of service – highly responsive, friendly, professional, and punctual. Highly highly recommend. As a professional event planner, I fully trust them.

I just had a lunch from Mama Lamees through Forkable. It was delicious! Sayyadeyyet Samak (fried fish with seasoned basmati rice, caramelized onions and fresh salad). The dressing and sauce were an excellent complement. I tried to find where it is so I can have it again, but it looks like they are caterers, not a restaurant, so I'll watch for them on our lunch menu.

Yelp
This is specifically delivery order of Kofteh Bilbandoorah. Or minced beef with saffron rice? The saffron rice was quite good. The minced beef tasted alright, but presentation is pretty odd, it was a cube like a brick. It would certainly have tasted better if it were like a usual dish, the sauce and minced beef (is it really? Just can't tell) would mix well with rice.

Yelp
I've gotten takeout here at least a handful of times, hoping it will be better each time. The food is too greasy. Every spoonful of rice is covered in a pool of grease. And when all the spices, its not balanced. A lot of the dishes are overwhelming with one spice. I don't recommend this place.

Yelp
We catered an event at our home from here. It was right on time and the food was delicious! We had the dips, mezza platter, falafel/effa.

Yelp
Aren't you also sick of the usual greasy-donut or dry-croissants that most office offer during meetings or small gatherings. I have the remedy: Mama Lameees. I first encountered Mama Lamees at a La Cocina event and I was immediately infatuated with her offering of "Qatayef Biljouzz": a stuffed sweet Palestinian dumpling with seasoned walnuts dipped in sugar syrup. And thus, when I organized another get-together for my colleagues I contacted Lamees via her website. I received an immediate response and within just a few back-and-forths we'd settled everything. Yesterday was the event I'd been planning and Lamees was on-time and I even got a hug from her! But most importantly: my colleagues really enjoyed the qatayef. Although, truth be told, I saw many of them looking a bit suspiciously at the unusual offering at first, but when they took their first bite, I could see their faces brightening up!

Yelp
I had dinner at Mama Lamees at the Public Market in Emeryville and I found her food to be excellent! I had the chicken with basmati rice/lentils and a side of green salad. Its a big portion but I ate the whole thing. It was so delicious! I had had her food before and particularly LOVE the ejja, which they were sold out, but the wraps being prepared looked delicious as did all the menu selections so there is literally a whole menu to return for. If you like lemonade try the rose lemonade, refreshing & really good. Come with an empty stomach!

Yelp
Discovered Mana Lamees at her new Public Market, Emeryville location. It was a great exploration of Palestinian flavors, both meat and vegetarian. The basmati rice with lentils and the seasoned basmati were distinctly different and cooked well. The chicken and meatballs were tender and herbaceous. Try the in-house made spicy/hot sauce, it give an extra pop to the chicken. I love baba ganoush and hers did not disappoint; just the right char of the eggplant and creamy finish. The rose mint lemonade was an added bonus, expert use of rose to create a refreshing elixir. The baklava's are sweet and buttery with crunch from the pastry and pistachio or walnut. Service was prompt and welcoming, was there both preparing orders and welcoming guests.

Yelp
Public Market in Emeryville. So delicious and accommodating! Really nice folks and possibly the best salad and falafel I have ever had. Got the hummus, too, which was excellent! I hope this stall sticks around!

Yelp
Ate at Mama Lamees for the soft opening of the restaurant in Emeryville. Food is excellent. Got the chicken plate with rice. Everything was fresh, and the food is "made to order", not sitting around, like many of the other restaurants at the Emeryville Public Market. Fantastic food. Highly recommend getting a few of the special hot sauces for an extra kick. Also, tried my girlfriend's falafel wrap, it was the best falafel wrap I've ever had. The food is healthy, and I felt great after lunch :) Keep up the great work!
