"Flooding the zone is a family affair for the Kevin Taylor Restaurant Group (KTRG), which will launch Masa Cocina Mexicana – its second Arista Broomfield eatery in two years –this November. The modern Oaxacan-style taqueria is the follow-up act to Hickory & Ash, a meat-heavy concept that opened in the master-planned community under the direction of Ryan Taylor – Kevin Taylor’s son – in 2017. Inspired by the chef’s travels throughout Mexico and a fascination with international street food, Masa will serve contemporary dishes rooted in tradition. The 3,200-square-foot space has a youthful air, seating 130 inside. Polished red concrete floors create a volcanic glow beneath the bamboo tables, accented by bold tiles and handcrafted Oaxacan lanterns. A 60-person patio will be unveiled after the opening in 2019." - Gigi Sukin

I REALLY like it here! After reading an article from Denver Westword on this restaurant, I knew I had to try this place. First off, it’s absolutely beautiful. The plants, the lighting, the tile accents, all blended together tastefully. We had no issues getting a table on a Wednesday night. We decided to get a Mexican Cola float and wowzer! It was delicious! Much better than traditional root beer float. I thought the price on enchiladas was steep at first; however I found it to be an excellent item to share (shared between two people and still had leftovers). We got the enchiladas de Arbol, the sauce was delicious, not too spicy with a great smoked flare to it. I got the Al Pastor taco. Incredible flavor and texture with the pork and pineapple. Highly recommend this taco. For sides, we got sweet corn and frijoles borachos. Both excellent and seasoned with a chili lime seasoning that made it taste so fresh. For sauces we chose the grilled tomatillo verde that was superb. Service was top notch! Staff was engaging, very accommodating, and enthusiastic about our dining experience. Five stars all around. Great place to get dinner with friends and perfect for an elevated date night.

This was my first time checking out Mama Lolita's. It's a modern twist on traditional tacos and margaritas to items you don't tend to find at traditional Mexican restaurants. The salsa sampler is not that diverse of a sampler. The two red salsas were difficult to differentiate. I would have preferred to have one of them a chunkier pico de gallo. The Man Go To Chili was a refreshing starter cocktail. Not too sweet and the chili rim is a nice balance to the sweet mango puree. The Calabasitas taco was surprisingly amazing. Very flavorful for a veggie taco. Unfortunately, it made the Baja grilled snapper taco taste just OK. The El Jefe Cafe Martini was a great way to drink dessert at the end. The churro garnish was perfect. It needs to be a stiffer churro, if you're going to dunk it in the martini like I did. I'm disappointed that it's so far north of Denver. It'll take me a while to return.

The food was delicious and very fresh! The tortillas are all made in house and the salsas are delicious as well. We got the red snapper plate, it was soo soo good! The daiquiri al pastor drink was really yummy too, it wasn't too sweet either.

Fabulous early dinner tonight at Mama Lolitas. Atmosphere is stylish, crisp, clean and comfortable. Service was impeccable. Margaritas were very good and had sufficient tequila. Dark Rum Daquiri was divine. Baja tacos, carnita tacos were tender and flavorsome. Achiote chicken tacos were delectable. Raja enchiladas were baked perfectly with scrumptious salsa verde. Service was timely. Presentation was upscale. Gotta try the corn side dish. Grilled on the cob; slightly sweet, succulent topped with queso fresca and cilantro. Owner/chef, Joe Mazzocco personally came to table to introduce himself and inquire about our opinion on the dining experience. Overall, A delightful evening out and a wonderful addition to our community!

Google
Not only hands down the best “Mexican” food I have ever had , This is without a doubt one of the best meals I have ever had. The Hospitality, Professionalism,Quality was outstanding with some of the most beautiful presentation I have seen as well as fantastic taste. The Salsa , Guacamole’s were one after another beyond great as we were consistently scrapping the bowl to get every last particle. The Ceviche was as top notch as your going to get 👍 Our party had tried nearly half the menu that night and it was shocking that (Every single plate) was beyond fantastic. Fried Snapper Plate was an experience everyone should have! 🤯 The Staff , Head Chef , Owner are running an amazing restaurant anyone in the area must try.

Brunch here is amazing! The ambience is lovely and chill, really comfortable to be in. We had the chilaquiles with their anchiote chicken , hands down best chilaquiles in Denver area! I also had a spicy Bloody Mary and it was delicious w/just the right amount of garnishes. The service was good, not too much and never left us wondering where our server went. All in all it was an awesome experience and we will definitely come back.

Google
Such a cute place. I had high hopes for it. I went in on a Friday night at about 7:30 with my husband and 3 kids under the age of 7. The service was slow but we were willing to wait we ordered chips and salsa as well as queso it arrived shortly before our food about 35 mins after ordering which was a bummer. The queso was barely warm I thought it was odd but it had great flavor. So we had high hopes for our enchilada. Enchilada was also cold when I mentioned it to the server he asked me if I wanted him to microwave it. Now I’m starving we’ve been waiting long enough. About 12 mins after our food came out my son was picking at his chicken tender meal I asked him what’s wrong he said it tasted weird and he proceeded to pull apart the breaded chicken strip. What we saw inside left me speechless. His entire chicken strip was uncooked. Look at this photo. One with flash and one without just to make sure I hadn’t lost my mind. They did not cook it at all and served it to a child. It took what seems like forever for me to flag the server down and get this remedied. Since this incident my son refuses to eat chicken strips and my other child is rightfully apprehensive of all chicken after this encounter. The restaurant comped the kids meal but I don’t feel this was enough. Had he not had the discernment he would have eaten this and ended up extremely ill. Unacceptable and I will tell everyone never to eat here. A cute aesthetic is not worth your health

EXCELLENT - super-friendly staff, awesome service, a great atmosphere capped off with the most tasty and creative food! Chef Joe knocked it out of the park! Highly Recommend!

Yelp
While I really like the atmosphere of this Mexican restaurant, a little on the upscale side with a beautiful bar, the food was too average to match the décor. I guess you don't go there for the entrees because there are very few (labelled as shared plates) and there are fairly expensive starting at $40. The drinks were good, my Paloma not too sweet, the way I like it. The tacos were fine but nothing special. For dessert, the flan was tasty and beautiful. Service was friendly. I went with a few friends and we had a pleasant evening. This spot seems to be an ideal choice if you're seeking a pleasant atmosphere that isn't overly bustling, perfect for enjoying appetizers with company.

Yelp
My Scoring: * Avoid. Why are you even open? ** Avoid unless the last restaurant on earth. *** Several important misses. Not recommended. **** Very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended. ***** Hits every mark of perfection. PROS Clean, modern atmosphere Friendly staff Plenty of parking CONS Very slow service. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine and the waitress was just walking around and she then finally came to our table and said we had to wait until the bartender got out of the bathroom! There's an image you don't want when dining. The waitress rarely checked on us; at one point we had to tell her to remove our empty plates. The Hamachi crudo was a complete disappointment!! They listed it under "Shared plates" - Are you kidding. See photo with fork. Do not order! I ordered a snapper taco and a chicken taco - I could not taste the difference. The price for each item was not worth it at all. Compared to the menu prices online, we were overcharged $1 each on 2 items. They presented us with a bill including a 2.5% credit card surcharge without even asking us how we would like to pay. We both agreed that this was the WORST DINING EXPERIENCE we have had in Colorado. We will never return. ****Go elsewhere for a much better dining experience.****

Yelp
4 stars is for the ambiance 3 stars for food . Morden taco fancy place Very cute place. Ambiance is excellent. As far as food I can't say the same . Very very small portions for the price they charge , well I guess you honestly pay for the space . Don't go hungry , Food is good but very small amounts. The place was very empty, I had a Caesar salad and added fish(sea bass I think , and it was just two small thin strips . Didn't complain I enjoyed it and went on with my business. Also watch out for extra fees on your check. I am glad I gave it a try but it's not worth the hype .

Yelp
This place is great. I've spent years in socal and have struggled to find a reliable Mexican spot that comes even close. Mama Lolita's is amazing and fits the bill. Yes it's a little pricier but you're paying for the quality of ingredients and food. The drinks are great, my go to is the Fuegorita. The bar has a variety of of tequilas and mezcals that you can't find in your typical store. The bartenders are super fun... we always sit at the bar. They have some great salsas, and super fresh guacamole. I usually get the steak dish to share between two people. Their elote and Spanish rice are for sides. I've also gotten the steak salad which is great. EI the we way you can't go wrong!

Yelp
While this restaurant has been open for over a year I feel like not many people know about it! The ambiance is really cute. I met some friends here for dinner... their happy hour ends at 5 which seems a bit early. The drinks were tasty and the queso dip was delicious. To me the tacos were average and lacked a bit of flavor. I felt like the prices were a little high for the location and food. I'd try this place again for happy hour and small plates!

Julia O.

Yelp
I stopped by this beautiful restaurant after my workout. We ordered the trio of salsa and it did not disappoint, the complex layers of flavor were amazing. It was tough to choose a favor as they were so different but equally delicious. The presentation was beautiful. Also ordered the fish tacos and they were yummy and beautiful. My only reason for not giving 5 stars would be the hostess who greeted us didn't seem pleased and started off our experience disappointing.

Lindsi B.

Yelp
Looking for a last minute reservation on a Friday we came upon this cute little place on yelp..the interior is beautiful! It's a smaller place but has plenty of seating. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The menu is slightly small and a little odd to me..you go from $6-$7 tacos to a few "larger meals" priced at $40-45 a plate. With that being said though you can pretty much create any taco plate ala carte with sides that you want. We also got the salsa trio which was well worth the $9 and the queso, which was thin and dripping off the chips.. however I think it's so you can add a protein if you like..We drove 45 mins to get here and prob wouldn't do it again (just for the time) but if you're in the area I do recommend! It's a cool vibe with elevated delicious Mexican food!

Yelp
I've given this place two tries and both times have left underwhelmed. The food is alright, nothing really that's stuck out to me. The drinks aren't that great either. I do think it's overpriced. The service both times has been a little off, whether it took a long time or they kept forgetting things. I do have to say the restaurant is very cute and trendy.

Dawn S.

Yelp
Excellent food. Excellent tequilas. Excellent service. Excellent choice! We loved this elevated Mexican restaurant with an upscale feel. The quantities were good and prices more than fair. Everyone was very friendly and took great care of us. They have dinner events where they pair various tequila drinks with food. Looks to be open for Sunday brunch too. We will definitely be back.

Brena E.

Yelp
A friend and I came here for brunch (although they didn't really have brunch menu items, so it was more like lunch) on Saturday. We were the only ones there at 11:30, but it did get busier by the time we left. We started with the queso dip which was good. My friend ordered the daiquiri what she really enjoyed and I tried the Man Go To Go Chili and Sage Advice cocktails. I like the sage advice better, and it was four dollars cheaper than the mango one. Both of my tacos (snapper and al pastor) were good and the server was helpful by telling me what I should leave off since I didn't want spicy. The decor was very unique and cool. At the end, you pay on your phone, which makes it a little quicker. I ended up paying $71 for one person (including the queso which we shared) which seems like a lot for lunch.

John F.

Yelp
I'm a Mexican good guy. Love it. So when is we this place I figured I'd check it out. Despite its name this is an upscale Mexican spot. Super nice inside. Food is upscale as well. The tacos were awesome and the salsas, while all different, were also amazing. Recommend this for an upscale Mexican dining experience. --John

Brianna C.

Yelp
Seriously such a cute little place!! We loved the vibe and the atmosphere. The food was soooo good. I got the tacos and loved all three. The salsa is fresh made and the chips as well. My husband got the Benedict and said the flavors were amazing. The potatoes on the side were also really good. This is a perfect spot for date nights in the future. So glad we came in.

Matt G.

Yelp
Restaurant was good but the food didn't blow me away. We had the tacos, guac, and salsa

Alan A.

Yelp
My taco was so small... ... I thought the real taco had a baby. ... I thought someone had put my food in the dryer and it shrunk. ... I thought they dropped a nacho on the plate and served it to me by mistake. The portions here are a joke, especially for the obscene prices. No wonder the place was empty. On top of the crazy prices, you get a bunch of surprise scam fees on the bill like "credit card processing" fees and "living wage" fees. Pretty soon, I bet they'll add a "Legal Defense Fee" on to the bill to pay for defending themselves in court against all the BS charges they add to your bill. No thank you!!!

Dana B.

Yelp
First time here and will definitely be back. We came around 12:45 on a Sunday and it was pretty empty but no idea why! It was delicious and looks very upscale and clean inside. They have a brunch menu which we both ordered off of- pictured is the huevos rancheros Benedict. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back and try their tacos.

Hannah J R.

Yelp
Atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing! Service was good. Great presentation. Carne asada flavor was great. Guacamole & fruit salsa was decent. However, the street corn & frijoles borrachos was on the dryer side & lacked in flavor. The meal was also overpriced for the amount of food received. My friend and I also were wanting a simple drink from the bar, but the cheapest cocktail was $13 and this isn't Downtown Denver. Overall, if the pricing was better & the food was done with more excellence, we would go again! Good luck to the new business!

Stephan G.

Yelp
Only slightly overpriced, which is a rarity for this area. Lol. Tasty food made with good ingredients. I would definitely skip the Shishido peppers for $11 if asked. They were too wet and kind of soggy. The baja snapper tacos were very tasty. The fish was tasty and crispy. Slightly smaller than other tacos elsewhere, but I didn't feel bad about the amount I paid for it. I would skip the queso fundito for $9 next time. It was super greasy with a puddle of cholesterol on top. The red snapper ceviche was delicious. I would order that again for sure. Super clean inside. Good place for a date with low level music and inviting decor.

El S.

Yelp
Ambiance was amazing- very pretty restaurant!! We came here originally bc we saw that they won Top Taco in Denver so we were really excited to try. The food was mediocre at best... very little flavor. We ordered the hot sauce flight and they had NO flavor or spice. We ordered the fish taco, pastor and carne asada. The best taco out of the 3 was definitely the Pastor which I could give a 3/5. The carne asada had nothing special and no flavor- 2/5 then the fish taco 2/5 not planning on coming here again

Kathy A.

Yelp
Really wanted to like this place. Seating. They sat everyone in the same area in a row. Not cool when the rest of the place was open. Nothing outstanding about the ambiance at all Server. Didn't offer to refill water or get a second round of drinks. Food. Horribly over priced. $6 for a taco that was basically 2 1/2 bites. Tasty but so not worth the money. Paloma not very good. Salsa. Horrible. I couldn't even eat the tomatillo or spiciest one. Tasted like vinegar or chil/cumin I'd go back if they have taco deals

Renee W.

Yelp
Mama Lolita's for lunch? Tacos you say? Yes please! Is at at the bar and waited for my takeout which took about 30 minutes, even though it was said to be 10-15. Also when sitting at the bar we were not asked if we'd like anything to drink. Hmm. From what we could tell I side the decor was minimalist but tasteful and trendy. Not too busy for lunch about 12:30 also. The tacos Al pastor and side of rice were delicious! However the tacos which were street size ran $6 each. To me that's pricey for a small taco.

Alice A.

Yelp
Elevated Mexican is how I would describe this new restaurant in Arista. Beautiful interior makes for a fun gathering place with friends, especially once they institute a happy hour, which we were told was in the making. Portions are definitely on the small size, especially for the price; 3 tacos will run you close to $20. The street corn was a standout.

Steven W.

Yelp
Always curious to see how a higher end Mexican place will be like. We started with the salsa sampler which were all very tasty. My favorite being the arbol chile one. The salsas were very fresh and all were made in house. For apps we got the queso and the ceviche which were delicious. For my main a had a couple of tacos, the fish taco and as postor. I was very happy with my meal and I would go back again. The service was also very attentive but for someone who grew up on very good mexican food in the southwest the check was $$$. I enjoyed my meal but would have been just as satisfied at a few hole in the wall in the places nearby and spent over 50.00 less. Good food but you pay for it!

SnowChik B.

Yelp
Service and atmosphere was a 5/5. Paid $50 for lunch for me and my 4yo. Only had a few tacos, an iced tea, some queso with chips, kids meal and some corn. The tacos were skimpy on the meat/filling, cheap corn tortillas that were hard and tough to eat (not crispy just not quality/fresh made or possibly just cheap and over cooked) Taco filling was tasty but I've had better tacos from a bunch of other places with a bigger quantity of filling & better tortillas for less than $6 each. Queso was great- good chips. Corn was good.. but not worth $7. Kids meal was chicken & cheese tacos and was the same quality as my tacos... the tortillas they use are just straight up not good, seems like cheap store bought ones, hard for my 4yo to eat because they were cooked tough and hard to chew apart with your teeth. They didn't ask for corn or flour tortillas, it just all came out with the terrible cheap corn ones. I saw the other part of the menu... and they had steak and enchiladas both $40 and up.... I don't think I'd ever seen $40 enchiladas, hopefully they don't use the same low quality tortillas for those enchiladas. I wanted to love this place but the tacos simply just didn't live up to the rest of the atmosphere and great service. If they can't get some expensive tacos right I'd have a hard time wanting to roll the dice on a $40 entree. If you're looking for amazing tacos try literally anywhere else. Unless they decide to change those tortillas and add some more volume on the tacos, I will not be back.

Jaclyn B.

Yelp
I tried the tacos, queso, paloma, and marg. The food, drinks, and service was great! I'm looking forward to going back!

Elise M.

Yelp
Great tacos for reasonable prices. Really liked the simple but cute atmosphere and quick service

Jessica L.

Yelp
Happy hour food is great. The Mexican pizza and flautas should be on their regular menu, they're wonderful! Drinks are strong but are still overpriced even during happy hour. Service was slow. We enjoyed the food enough to return.

Charlie K.

Yelp
This is a very nice looking restaurant. The ambiance is great. The drinks were good, house marg tasted great. The food was tasty, well seasoned and flavorful. Now, this is NOT a place we're you get value for your dollar. The portions are tiny. For the cost of the food and drinks, ANYone would expect more variety in the pricing. Paying $5 for a small bowl of white rice or $7 for a small bowl of pinto beans is ridiculous. Now to the part that ruins it for us to ever return...they charge a 2.5% charge to use a credit or debit card...AND for the cherry on top they charge a 4% charge for a livable wage fee!!!! WTF. Here's an idea for the management, pay your employees a livable wage (contribution)?!! You charge enough for your food and drinks to pay your employees. The customer is paying for the food, drinks and tipping the servers. You should pay for the other parts of running the business. Or don't be in business.

Courtney B.

Yelp
I am in town for a wedding and have eaten here twice now. First, it is an absolutely beautiful restaurant, and the staff are super friendly. I've had the Carne Asada tacos both times and I am not exaggerating when I say they are the best tacos I have ever eaten. Then we followed up with the churros which were also the most delicious churros I've ever eaten. Highly recommend! I'm sure everything else on the menu is just as delicious.

Chelsea A.

Yelp
Tried this place tonight, we were super excited since it's so close by. So for food We got the carne asada which was good but not worth $45! Lady Nomada, my neighbor felix, and teocalli all have wayyy better carne asada and for under $25! The tacos were good, great flavor. Drinks: the main margarita tasted like a glass of agave syrup with a splash of tequila, so I asked for a ranch water....it was basically a grapefruit soda lol so pass on that. I would stick to beer and wine. Service: was the worst part. They didn't have paper menus or digital ones. We hardly ever saw our waitress. She got the order wrong, never brought things we asked for and then we didn't get our second drink until about 20 minutes after we were done with dinner. Skip this place and go to lady nomada until they hopefully work out the kinks

Brittany C.

Yelp
Let me preface this review with the fact that it's a neighborhood restaurant and has been one of our favorites! Tonight completely changed our minds. Service was slow. 20 minutes for a draft beer. Food was overly salty. Both I can overlook as a "one off." But I was surprised to get my bill and see a 4% restaurant "livable fee" and a "3% credit card processing fee." Had I been aware of the fees, would it stopped me from coming? Probably not. Had I known I was going to be charged a credit card fee and asked to tip on top of the total when I was handed a ticket and told to pay from my phone, I probably would had just brought cash. Point of this review, transparency was non existent. If you are going to charge fee, on top of fee, on top of taxes and expect to be tipped off this full amount, please be transparent and not shady AF

Steff F.

Yelp
This restaurant really blew me away. While not a completely traditional Mexican restaurant, by far the best I have had in Colorado. Coming from So. Cal, I have had some pretty disappointing Mexican food in this state, so this was a major delight. Most comments complain about the prices of the big plates, but they are totally big enough for two people. The enchilada plate had 4 enormous enchiladas, choice of two sides and toppings. The dishes also come with chips and two salsas or guacamole too. The drinks were exceptionally fresh and delicious, we each ordered another round. I will be back and definitely recommend it time and time again.

Heather K.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere, great drinks. However, service was incredibly slow & inaccurate, food was mediocre. It should be so lovely, but it disappointed us.

Lauren B.

Yelp
Incredible food and service!! Everything from the beautiful decor to most incredible delicious food, I can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. Everything we tried was fabulous , all of the salsas and guacamole can't be missed. I wish they would bottle it so I can take a piece of this restaurant home with me. The hamachi is so fresh and bright, shishito peppers are great starter , the enchiladas, grilled steak and every taco. The churros are not to be missed, probably the best I have ever had. The cocktails are beautiful and delicious too! I loved the sage margarita!! The service is impeccable and I always think it's extra special when the chef comes to the table to greet us. Joe is the chef/ owner and couldn't have been more thoughtful and lovely to meet. I am counting down the days to go back and try more dishes. We were enjoying the vibe and yummy food so much that we didn't take many pictures.

Justin S.

Yelp
Ridiculous!!!!!! This place is not worth the visit. The food is ok, but I've had better. The cost is absolutely insane and ridiculous!!!!! A $17 dollar margarita that is barley larger than a shot glass, really???? On top of the menu prices that are absurd, they add a $3.80 credit card processing fee. Do not open a business if you won't pay the fee to process the credit card. You might as well add it to your already existing expensive prices. Let's not forget the livable wage fee!!! This was another $7.00 fee. Trust me, save your money. Go to a better location like Lady Nomada in old towne Arvada. Better service, better food, and better prices!

Cody P.

Yelp
Amazing food from wonderful people. We came for a date night and everything we ordered was fantastic. Chef Joe Mazzocco came out to speak with us and was awesome. They gave us complimentary churros that were cooked to absolute perfection. The perfect way to end a wonderful meal.

Crystal E.

Yelp
I was wary of trying Mama Lolita's given the mixed reviews, but my husband and I joined two friends there for dinner on the patio last Saturday and had a great experience overall. My husband and I are not light eaters, but we decided to share the chicken enchilada plate and were pleasantly surprised. The four enchiladas looked rather small but were surprisingly filling, and the included tortilla chips, salsas and sides added up to what we considered the perfect amount of food. The chicken enchiladas and Spanish rice were wonderful, and the seasonal pineapple salsa was AMAZING. The sage advice cocktail was so insanely tasty we were compelled to order a second, which we rarely do. I asked the kitchen to omit cilantro from our dishes, and they did (yay!!). Unfortunately, the black beans were beyond bland (we presumed the kitchen forgot to season them), and the churros for dessert, while delicious, were a bit undercooked. Service was somewhat slow, but our server was pleasant and responsive, and the weather on the patio was perfect, so we had no complaints. Overall, we felt the highs more than counteracted the lows, and we'll likely return soon. However, we do agree with other reviewers that the prices are a tad high.

AJ J.

Yelp
Seriously, I think they have great food, if it was 1/2 the cost.... And they'd probably fill all the tables too. I do feel the are food forward.... But the prices are WAY over the top. We had 6 tacos, a street corn and 1 margarita. $74. To top it off they added a credit card processing fee 2.5% AND a Living Wage fee of 4%. I politely asked for the manager and asked if either of those fees were published on the Menu, he responded "no". I explained that I believe they should be taken off the bill - and he did take them off. Great food, but bad to gouging pricing.

Tim M.

Yelp
I really liked it here! Food was great and the design is really cool. I also thought the service was great--surprised by any negative reviews. I highly recommend!

Kirsty D.

Yelp
We just had dinner here this evening and it was our second visit. I want to love it - I do like the decor, but that's where it ends. The drinks are way overpriced and the hamachi appetizer is a joke. The tacos sound good but the fish is chewy. We were never offered any water refills or asked if we would like another drink and after we said we were done, we waited 15 mins for the waiter to check on us again (with no water) so we could again ask for the bill. The concept is great but the execution is lacking.

John J.

Yelp
Where to start? This restaurant is beautiful. Amazing decor, with high ceilings, gorgeous bar area, and semi-open concept. Very welcoming upon arrival, with a great looking staff. Hospitality would be an understatement, as you are pretty much walking into your step mother's house. This is a place you can go for a fine cocktail, or incredible food. I chose both. I only just dabbled a bit, I had to try all of the tacos. Every single one was phenomenal. I am not a cilantro fan, but the chef ensured to "try them as they are," so I did. Outstanding suggestion. The slaw was rich, creamy, the meat was tender, and flavorful. The homemade tortillas, to die for. I knew this place was going to be good. I can't wait to go back and try their salsas and big plates. The red snapper taco was so good, I wish I ordered 5 of them. I'm not a big fish fan, unless it's sushi, but holy cow, this taco is a bad mama jama. If you are reading this review, stop thinking about what you want to eat, and just go. You will not be disappointed. 5 stars all around, I think even Gordon Ramsey would think less of himself if he dined here.

Yelp
It was our first time visiting and we were not disappointed. We went for dinner and it was great and the service was amazing! We had the salsa sampler, all of them were good. I had the Al pastor taco and it was so delicious. My favorite part was our drinks. We had the sage advice, which was one of the best drinks I've had. It was super refreshing and smooth and I could drink it all night. Definitely will be back again!

Yelp
I was really excited for the new restaurant in Arista to open and it didn't disappoint. I ordered the guacamole appetizer and it was delicious. For my luck I just got a Carne asada taco and the meat was so tender & delicious. I'll definitely be back to try other menu items & drinks.

Yelp
Great food and cocktails and fun atmosphere, but pricey. Salsa trio (sub guacamole) was delicious! Overall, would recommend!

Yelp
We arrived for dinner at about 5p with the single server/hostess seating us. We were provided water and iced tea by the bartender. The (one and only) waitress finally arrived for our dinner order. And then we waited....and waited....and waited....and finally (almost 15 mins later - we were about to get up and leave) were presented chips and salsa (at any other Mexican restaurant it's typically provided moments after you're seated) along with our shared meal. The skirt steak was undercooked and we were charged extra for guacamole (which the waitress never mentioned). Ms "one and only" checked on us once during the entire time, and never bothered to ask about water or drink refills...Nada. In an hour, we saw her twice. We had to wave her down to even get our check. Food? So-so - nothing to stand out. Service - all but nonexistent. I'll be surprised if it lasts...

Yelp
This place is aesthetic but was overpriced. The drinks were pricy too. The food was mediocre but nothing too crazy for the price. We tried tacos and the queso fondito (which was a bit greasy).

Yelp
Incredible food atmosphere and drinks. I will definitely being a regular here. Salsas were also all incredible.

Yelp
Amazing drinks and food. I traded my firstborn for more enchiladas. Don't even get me started on the fried ice cream.

Yelp
It's a cute little restaurant/bar. Limited menu, but the salsa and street tacos were very good! Service was great!

Yelp
Mexican restaurant playing rap music. I think this says everything. Trying to be upscaled. Service was not on point. My water ran dry three times. Would've ordered alcohol had they had some gluten-free option that I liked. Ordered Red snapper tacos. Nowhere on the menu said that they were deep-fried. Not gluten-free. Ordered the chips and salsa with guacamole, ran out of chips had to ask for more. Will not return. Over priced Mexican food.
