The 13 Best New Restaurants in Orlando Right Now

"This seductive little shop of Neapolitan delectables is more than meets the eye. Behind those stunning handhelds and alluring pastries is Luigi Diana, a dough maestro who fashions some of the best focaccia and panini sandwiches in the city, as well as sweeter delicacies like bombolone, sfogliatelle, cornetti, and rum babà. Neapolitan Kimbo beans are used for all coffee drinks, many of which – like the pistachio cappuccino – are caffeinated works of art." - Faiyaz Kara

M'ama Napoli needs to expand to somewhere with a larger parking lot and more seating. This place is spectacular! Currently, there are only five 2-4 people tables indoors in the back and a small bar style seating area near the front window. It is very small, but from all the foot traffic, very popular! After securing a table: The cappuccino arrived first, and it was heavenly. Mine was served with oat milk and it was so smooth, rich and flavorful. What a delight! Next were our meals, I know I'm ridiculous, but I just got the standard pepperoni pizza and my husband ordered one of their sandwiches (focaccia bread, prosciutto, arugula, etc). Both breads were light and fluffy making these feel like "light" meals - instead of something that sits heavy after eating. And so, we went back up for tiramisu...and oh boy, that was just the topper. Everything was so good! Everything tasted like it was handmade with love. Can't wait to come back.

Google
The best Italian spot in Orlando hands down! 🙌 I literally drive 25 minutes every week just to get my hands on the Sofia sandwich (it’s a must!), treat myself to some delicious pastries, and stock up on their amazing pastas and oils. We absolutely LOVE this place. The quality, service, and flavor? All a solid 10/10. Highly recommend!

Google
Excellent experience! The pastries are the most authentic we’ve had in the Orlando area. Everything was delicious - especially the pistachio cream! The sfogliatelle and pistachio cappuccino was fantastic. The service was great - everyone was very friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Google
An authentic Italian Deli here in Winter Park. Their Panini’s are no joke! I am Italian. My mom lived in Italy and I grew up with great Italian cooking. I’m so excited that this little slice of Italy is located in my neighborhood. Well done to the owners of M’ama Napoli! Questo e squisito!

Google
This is our new favorite regular place to go! Food and pastries are amazing and we always get the Toto and Maradona. I personally like how there’s a tiny marketplace for all our Italian recipe needs. Staff is amazing and super nice. The longest we’ve ever had to wait is probably 20 minutes but that is when they’re super busy, otherwise, we usually get our foods super fast. Highly recommend to add this to your regular food rotation!!

Google
Absolutely Incredible Experience at Mama Napoli! I went with two of my friends from work, and we were blown away by the whole experience. The owners are truly amazing—so sweet, generous, and welcoming! They treated us like family and even gave us samples to try, which was such a thoughtful touch. And the food… oh wow, the food! Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful—you can taste the love in every bite. You can tell that everything is made with heart, passion, and care. It’s rare to find a place where the hospitality and the food are both top-tier, but Mama Napoli nails it on every level. We all left full, happy, and already planning to come back. If you haven’t tried Mama Napoli yet—go now! This place is a gem. 💛🍝🍕

Google
We stopped in for the first time yesterday to buy some of their cannoli and they were absolutely delicious! I also had a double espresso, which was also very tasty. The service was extremely prompt and friendly. The store is extremely Italian authentic with employees even speaking Italian to one another. Even customers were speaking Italian. They have a neat shop that includes imported, Italian products, such as pastas, sweets, delis case with mortadella, etc. If you’re looking for authentic Italian, this is the place to go.

Google
Cute Italian deli/grocery with the best Focaccia sandwiches! What stands out about the sandwiches is the balance of flavors and fresh ingredients. I also really liked their pistachio cappuccino. Service was friendly, and prices are reasonable. I'd come back!

Yelp
My family and I stopped in on a Saturday, after my son's soccer game and truly this was the fuel we were craving for a mid-morning brunch. From luscious coffee options to fresh and savory sandwiches to great and hospitable service, we absolutely enjoyed visiting this establishment. Everything we sampled tasted fresh, authentic and flavorful. They also offer an ample assortment of Italian delicacies you can purchase at their mini market which we absolutely wanted to buy every single item they had available. The establishment is fairly small and gets a lot of traffic so be prepared to exercise patience as patrons make their way to the cashier, place their orders and wait around for their order fulfillment. There is seating in the front of the stores and benches to eat for larger groups in the back. Here's what we tried: -Ischia -Totó -Maradona -Arancini -Capuccino Pistachio -Capuccino Nutella

Yelp
One of the cutest, most authentic, little Italian market/deli spots on this side of town. I'm usually here on the weekends to get a Nutella cappuccino and some sort of croissant (love the pistachio one because the pistachio cream is FANTASTIC). Last time I came by, they did have some off menu offerings (Arancini in a few different flavors). I think the Sofia sandwich is absolute perfection! Any of the focaccia sandwiches are super delicious, and they're HUGE. If I could come every day for one of their focaccia sandwiches... I ABSOLUTELY WOULD! The staff is always smiling which in turn makes me smile. The staff also have great recommendations for which grocery items they sell work for whatever meal you are trying to cook up at home :)

Yelp
I had seen lots of good things about this place, and knew I had to check it out! The price point is fantastic for the food you're getting: $11-$14 for a large focaccia sandwich that could easily be split between two people if not more. The pistachio pesto is freshly made as well on the sandwiches and you can definitely taste the love and hard work in their product. Their pastries taste awesome as well. I do wish that there wasn't actual nuts in the pistachio Cappuccino, and that the pistachio flavor came out more, but overall it was tasty :) The owners are awesome and I loved how I felt transported to Italy :) I cannot wait to come back!

Yelp
Between the food, the ambiance, and the staff, this place is definitely a "will go again" place. The staff is always so nice and willing to walk you through any questions you may have. The first thing I ever had from here was the maradorna sandwich on focaccia. Oh my goodness, *chef's kiss*. The bread with the creamy cheese, the meat and the arugula - AMAZING. The sandwich is also HUGE. It's a steal for the price! I've had a few of the pastries as well. The last meal item I had was the pepperoni pizza. It was delicious! We were in a rush to get back home - after being displaced by the hurricane for a few days. We devoured it in the car - my toddler was even eating it in the back seat and she's incredibly picky. M'ama Napoli is definitely a must for us!

Yelp
5 stars for M'ama Napoli! We just got back from Sicily so I was super excited to see this pop up on others suggestions. I visited right before closing, so many things were already sold out, sadly! I just got a few desserts to start on my first visit. The large cannoli made to order definitely lives up to the hype. The cream was tasty and the shell tasted very fresh. You can order them traditional or they also offer Nutella/pistachio flavor. I got half pistachios and half regular. Also tried the lemon cake, I didn't think that would be that great but options were limited. But I actually really enjoyed that too. The apricot donut was quite amazing too. We'll definitely be back earlier next time to try some other things!

Yelp
M'ama Napoli a new Italian place in Winter Park. When you walk in there are several tables to sit at. There is also a bar in the front window with several stools. In the glass counter you can see the items that are available. I ordered the Totò on Focaccia. The bread was fresh and delicious. For me bread can make or break a sandwich. This definitely was some of the best bread I've had in quite some time. The other items were also fresh, which made the sandwich one I look forward to having again. The service was also excellent and if you're in the neighborhood you should visit.

Yelp
Wonderful addition to the Winter Park area. The location is easy to find, if you know where to look.. it's across from Aqave Azul on 17-92. I almost drove by it but thankfully I turned around and spotted the sign in the window. It is located in a little strip plaza just before PDQ (if you are headed towards Fairbanks). There is Parking and an easy entrance from the rear of the plaza which I didn't realize at first. The inside is a decent size with a few tables (booths) and a small bar top area by the window. Now on to the food! I tried the Toto sandwich and a Latte Conchiglia. Both of which were Devine! The sandwich is like nothing else you can get around town. Super fresh focaccia is the base of this monster sandwich and it held up perfectly! The flavor of everything was so well balanced, the salt from the parm, the nuttiness of the arugula, the creamy texture of the mozzarella! From the first bite I knew I needed to try everything else on the menu! The fact that I was only able to eat 1/2 of the sandwich (and could have stoped after 1/2 of the 1/2) makes the $13 price tag that much more amazing! Even though I was stuffed I surely still tasted my desert. The pastry was light and soft with a perfectly balanced filling. These folks know what they are doing! They are so kind and friendly. I can not wait to go back and try everything else!

Yelp
Being here was like being transported to a shop in Naples or Rome. I can truly testify that the freshest ingredients, fabulous breads and sweets are what draws so many to this little deli market. We ordered the Sofia and it was a massive sandwich filled with mortadella and creamy burrata. Just like Italy ! delicioso!

Donald C.

Yelp
We go to Italy every year and there focaccia sandwiches are just as good as what we get in Italy. So happy we found them. All Italian products. Friendly owners and staff

Silvia E.

Yelp
Perfect place to go if you ate looking for European style pastries, meaning less greasy, not so sweet and very tasteful!!! I also had an amazing latte! They added a small Italian supermarket, Antonio's style. Bread , pizza are also very good. It's q must place to stop by

Yelp
Mama Napoli is a newly opened authentic Italian deli, mini grocery and coffee shop in Winter Park. The proprietors are Lily and Luigi who are straight from Napoli Italy, and have created a much needed addition to the Orlando area. The food is great, I tried the fruit tart and the pistachio tart along with a pistachio latte, which was excellent. The customer service is great and they pay extra attention to their customers having conversations to get to know the people that are frequenting their establishment. When you enter the door, you have the awesome smells of freshly baked bread and freshly brewed coffee. I look forward to trying many things on their menu on future visits.

Yelp
What a hidden gem!! This place was wonderful. The staff was kind and patient. The place itself is a bit crammed but there's food was still amazing. There's only a few booths and their market is definitely tight. We got the Toto and Sofia sandwiches and they were so fresh and tastey. I believe the Toto is their best seller but I honestly liked Sofia better! It was more unique and less dry than the Toto. When we walked in we were instantly offered a sample of their homemade bread with some sort of pistachio spread and prosciutto... it was delicious and inspired us to try the Sofia!! So glad we did:)
google avatar

Bonnie G.

Yelp
Ok, so I originally went for all things pistachio. Pistachio desserts and pistachio espresso and cappuccino. Then I got sucked in by the sandwiches. HOLY COW. They have the softest focaccia, and it makes for a spectacular sandwich. I got the Sofia but added salami. WOOOW. Hands down the best authentic Italian sandwich I've ever had. The mortadella was so soft and flavorful, and the burrata-killer!! We also got the pistachio bombolone and the pistachio croissant, plus the pistachio espresso-I told you I came for the pistachio lol. The sandwich also had pistachio pesto on it, which sounds wild but it worked! My friend got the sandwich with grilled eggplant and artichokes with arugula and she added burrata and she said it was amazing. They also have a little store with all things Italian. I brought home left overs because the sandwich is HUGE! My daughter and husband fell in love, so now I'm going back today the staff-every single one of them were so nice and helpful.

Yelp
Great addition to Winter Park. A nice selection of Italian pastries, including the infamous lobster tail. Their version has homemade whipped cream rather than Bavarian cream, which I didn't mind even as a fan of Bavarian cream. As long as it wasn't a ricotta nice variety. their sandwiches look fantastic and looking forward to going back and trying more.

Yelp
This place is a gold mine!! We met an Italian man in there that has been to Italy and says it's the "real deal"! The owners are so nice and welcoming. It's tiny but take it to go if you have to!

Yelp
This is the best Italian spot in Orlando. Much more variety in pastry than stassios and the bread was AMAZING. They've only been open for about 2 weeks so I think they are still working out some kinks regarding the ordering process. I got a capri on focaccia (amazing), an almond croissant, a fruit tart (seriously one of the best I've ever had), and a pistachio cappuccino. The pistachio cappuccino had actual pistachio pieces in it - truly next level. I had to wait in line for about 20 minutes (there was a very long line when I arrived). After ordering my food was ready in about 10 minutes. Confirm they included pastries and coffees, it seems a bit disjointed - again I think a newly opened business kink to work out. I would come back here tomorrow. This place was amazing.

Yelp
Always really nice and friendly people. Food is very fresh. I like the mini market too

Yelp
I absolutely adore this place! We came in for Italian cookies to bring to my fiancés parents house. Perfect rainbows- the only place in town I've seen them. They were piping the bomboloni fresh and the sandwiches were made with all imported meats. I also got a croissant filled with Nutella and an iced coffee. Both were amazing. I can't wait to come back and try more. Grazie Mille!

Yelp
Authentic Italian bakery, grocery, and coffee bar specializing in Neapolitan cuisine.

Yelp
Ate here yesterday on my birthday for the first time. This place is fantastic. They were so nice. When we told them it was my birthday they had us try the different breads before we ordered our sandwich. We got the special. It was so fresh. The focaccia was so fluffy. They brought me a pistachio donut with a candle and sang happy birthday in Italian. While I am not a huge donut fan this didn't have the fried taste and was FULL of a pistachio cream. Pistachio happens to be one of my favorite flavors and it was actually super good. Will definitely be a regular here.

Yelp
We stopped in after hearing good things on FB Orlando Foodies group. We were not disappointed. The owners recently moved from Napoli and are absolutely wonderful. The focaccia and mortadella were delicious. We also had bombolone. We will definitely be back to support this small business.

Yelp
Amazing authentic Italian food. Fresh and great selection of choices. Great friendly customer service.

Yelp
This place is the real deal. There is a little bit of something for everyone and the pricing is reasonable. This morning we picked up an apricot croissant, sfogliattelle, a Nutella croissant, and a Nutella cappuccino. I love how the cappuccino has little pieces of hazelnut on top and is just the right level of sweetness. All of the baked goods are to die for I can't wait to come back to try the pizza and other desserts, like Nutella cheesecake. Can you tell I love Nutella? Also, they have a ton of authentic Italian products on the grocer side that look amazing, such as pesto, sauces, cookies, etc. The ambiance is casual cute and there are a few tables in the back to enjoy your goodies. All of the staff are super friendly and the owner moved here from Napoli, so she knows true Italian goodness. We love the location as it's easy to get to in Winter Park. My son and I will certainly be frequenting this lovely place.
google avatar

Yelp
Overpriced mediocre food pretending to be Italian!! Canolis were like pre-packaged. Apricot croissant had a lot of over sweetened apricot jam and the croissant tasted tougher than bread! Some deset that my wife ordered, Mama..something was nice, light and very refreshing. The coffee was excellent, almost as good as any Cafe in Florence!! As they have just opened, few kinks still need to be worked out, like it was very warm, the air conditioner needs to be revved up. Ambiance is ok, tables ate tiny. Service is very friendly, bot they don't speak much English. Wishing them Good Luck.
google avatar

Heidi B.

Yelp
This cute little cafe was packed, and for good reason. I could eat one of these everyday if I could get my hands on one.

Louis M.

Yelp
The food was absolutely exquisite, a true representation of Italian sandwiches as it's finest. The cold cuts they use are fresh, savory and absolutely delicious. I'm a fan of Boar's Head meats. These cold cuts blow Boar's Head out of the water. My mouth was watering at first sight. I transcended to my childhood, as the sandwich, comprised of the tastiest meat and freshly baked bread, reminded me of memories of old with my nonna in Italy. The service was second to none. All of the employees are super friendly and helpful. It is apparent they find join in serving their customers with excellence and quality. Finally, the ambiance is so quaint and delightful. With a motif indicative of Napoli and products placed in a manner easy to view and admire, this place is surely one of Winter Park's hidden gems.
google avatar

Jorge H.

Yelp
Authentic Italian food ! I had the Sofia and added salami to the sandwich and it tasted so light and airy due to the freshness of the ingredients that I was truly impressed. The cannolis are a hit .
google avatar

Charles S.

Yelp
Awesome place for coffee and Italian desserts, desserts are legit and made just like in Italy , some of the best I've had.
google avatar

Jezzi S. A.

Yelp
ITALIA in Winter Park . I am the happiest human right now, they are TRUE ITALIAN they don't speak much English t and that's the main thing I love about them, they have a translator. THE FOOD is beyond this planet, from the cannoli to the Nutella expresó. What caught my attention was that you can actually buy AUTHENTIC Italian items either to cook or things someone miss about back home. This place is a MUSTTTT, they are so kind and lovely very very polite, the place is beautiful inside. If you are in the area and you are looking for sweets this is your place do not hesitate.
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
Had the most wonderful experience on our first visit! Staff was so friendly and welcoming. Had the Toto focaccia, cannolis and a latte. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Can't wait to return!

Yelp
Amazing cappuccinos and pastries - a wonderful place to start the day. I plan to come back enough to try everything they offer

kevin s.

Yelp
Excellent! If you are looking for authentic Italian food , you definitely need to come here . Everything is fresh made to order . Must come and try the sandwiches. My favorite pastry is the bombolon stuffed with Nutella. Coffee is amazing. Hands down best in orlando . Service is always with a smile and excellent. Feels like I'm in Italy . Ambiance is calm soothing and pleasant.

Yelp
This place is definitely an authentic Italian bakery. Their paninis were super tasty and fresh. For the price you get a sandwich that you can take some home for later or share with someone. The sweets that were offered were super tasty and flaky. I did not feel they were overly sweet. The latte was super tasty and paired well with the selection of food. The workers were super helpful and answered any questions I had. They do use Caputo flour for their bread so it was safe if you have a Gluten Intolerance. There was a good amount of seating area for you to enjoy your food on site. There was some music playing but it set the mood that you were in Italy. I would most definitely come back. Highly recommend you come and check it out.

Stanley S.

Yelp
We have been here three times, but not just for the meals. We have found this to be the best Italian/Semolina bread in the area, We have been searching since moving here from the NYC area where you can get the best bread in the country. The only one close to the flavor is Olde Hearth; Mama Napoli is better. The pastries are fantastic and we have tried, the Bombilini, Cannoli, cookies, Sfoglitelle, etc. and they reminded us of what we would get in NYC or Jersey. All have been great. Most recently we took our daughter who lives/works nearby for lunch and we had the pizzas. The dough/crust is amazing and while they are a bit expensive, the pizzas were large for a lunch portion. I overheard the owner/Baker talking to a customer and he said the magic comes from the type of water and flour they use as well as top notch ingredients. I do not mind paying extra for good quality food. Over the time since opening. they have expanded the grocery section, by adding shelving units, and I do not doubt that before long they will have to find a bigger location. My daughter found a savory cookie that she had been looking for and we could not locate either. The customers came in and out on a steady pace. There are a few small tables in the rear but considering the amount of traffic we saw, they will need a bigger place. Additionally, parking is difficult with a small lot in the back and no street parking. There is a front entry also. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Molto Bene!

Yelp
Great people, great food. The cappuccino and croissants are fantastic. Sandwiches are large and very good.

Ivelisse R.

Yelp
Great sandwiches, fresh ingredients. Courteous staff. Slow service when it gets packed (and it does).

Scott M.

Yelp
We've been a bunch of times since they opened and it's consistently terrific. Focaccia sandwiches are all great and I particularly like, and am somewhat addicted to, the Sofia. You can't really go wrong with any of them though. Sfogliatella is the best I've had in Orlando. Try anything with pistachio. Great spot.

Jean S.

Yelp
Finding this authentic Italian deli was a dream come true. The eggplant and artichoke sandwich was amazing! We tried several pastries and they were delicious. The staff was friendly and the store was stocked with Italian goodies. We HIGHLY recommend this deli!

Victoria F.

Yelp
Delicious! So many Italian foods I miss since moving to Florida! The owners and staff are smiling and friendly . You must go and try it.

Alan C.

Yelp
A lovely bakery with authentic Italian baked goods, sandwiches, pizza, dry goods and more. My favorite and I shared a Mortadella sandwich on focaccia. The mortadella was piled on and was amazing, along with buratta and pesto. The focaccia was perfect, light and airy. We also had a cannoli and a lemon cake, both of which were outstanding. I look forward to going back soon. It's right next to the PDQ in Winter Park. The parking is in the back of the building.

Michael L.

Yelp
Fantastic little Italian Bakery and Deli. Food, staff and service is excellent! Very Italian and authentic! A hidden gem that you have check out and refer your friends and family to. Once you experience Mama Napoli you will want to come back over and over again! Grazie Ragazzi!
