We went to Mamacita's around three on a Saturday. The front lot was full, but there was plenty of parking in the back of the building. There was a wait of about twenty minutes, but the host recommended getting a drink from the bar.
The line at the bar went quick. It appeared to be a full bar, with five beers on tap and a cooler full of more options. They had QR codes posted in a few places for the bar menu, but we were just getting margaritas, so we didn't use it. The margaritas were decent and had a good pour, which was nice since we got a slightly more expensive tequila than their well brand.
We were seated quicker than expected after receiving a text to let us know our table was ready. The service staff were all very nice and wore masks at all times. Our table was clean and the decor was pretty typical of a Tex-Mex restaurant.
Each table gets complimentary chips and salsa, with a red and green salsa. The red salsa had a little bit of heat to it. The green salsa was delicious and almost tasted like a spinach and artichoke dip.
My wife got beef enchiladas with the mamacita sauce and I got shrimp fajitas. Both were good portions, enough to fill us and take some home. The shrimp came with their tail on, which was kind of a pain, but they were some of the best shrimp fajitas I've ever had.
The food and drink prices were reasonable. Two meals, two drinks, and tip cost us $55.
